Isha Spice in Greenwich

Ordered online. Arrived shop os closed. 9.15pm. What a joke. Don't order online make sure you go in. Tbh looks very strange there is 2 restaurants located in the same tiny shop...

We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is always super flavour and amazing. Free poppadoms always and the service is always on point and friendly.

Back in the game! Haven’t ordered for about six months because we felt it went a bit downhill. My children were asking for the ‘old curry shop’ tonight so we tried again. Very pleased to say that the quality is back to where it was originally, and we’re glad to have fallen back in love with what was once our favourite takeaway. Long may it last!

We've been ordering from Isha Spice for years and years and have spent probably in the thousands. Not only was it our favourite Indian takeaway, but it was our favourite takeaway full stop. The last few times we've ordered we've been really disappointed though. The sauces have been more bland and watery, and the Tori Tor lamb was bulked out with those cheap cubes of frozen veg and tasted very different. So, we've been looking for a different local curry house for a while to find something that would live up to what Isha Spice once was. Luckily for us, last night we found one that was outstanding and it's even closer to us. A little bit more expensive but amazing quality and flavour. So, farewell Isha Spice. It's been good while it lasted but our order in June was our last.

Ordered a takeaway from here and it was so disappointing. All the dishes apart from the rice were swimming in oil. The bag the onion bhajis came in was soaked with oil from the bhajis as well. The food was so bland and all you could taste was oil. Will never eat from here again

Nice owners but I found the food to be sub standard. I ordered a lamb phaal curry and didn't feel the spice as expected. The lamb felt chewy and shrunk in size which suggests it's been sat for longer than should be. The portions are small for price paid meaning that the portions were filled with sauce to compensate.

We've probably spent thousands of pounds with Isha Spice over the last 7 years but it never disappoints. Every time we have visitors, if we order from here, our guests always comment that they wish their local curry takeaway was as good as this. We are big fans! Tried a few other local ones when we first moved here, but wouldn't order from anywhere else since we found this.

Me and my dad both had Biryani's don't get me wrong I know that there is meant to be a decent amount of rice. But when you order chicken and king prawn you should expect sandwich meat and chopped up bit of what essentially was just two king prawns. There was no flavour at all and this was just an expensive box of rice. Such a shame, the starters were decent but this was so cheeky and for 12.95 for the king prawn was disgusting. The vegetable curry was watery and bland. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

I got a king prawn Biriyani and my dad got chicken one. Well for starters, they both were just s big box of rice with tiny pieces of meat. The chicken looked like sandwich meet and the 'king prawns' were cut up tiny and made up about 2 and half prawns. There was pretty much no flavour and we paid for really expensive rice. Safe to say we will not be returning and it was such a disappointment. Do not recommend at all.

Ordered loads from isha spice first time since it’s merged with the other Indian ordered quite a few dishes and all of them were watery and no taste not like the normal where the sauce is thick and tasty must say we were all disappointed must have different cooks as definitely didn’t taste or look like the isha spice we used to know 😢

Had a home delivery was amazing tasted so fresh and was delivered with in time. Will 100% be having this again

Really nice food had a few from other places was either nice 1st time but then ordered again and not nice or just never liked 1st time but isha is always really nice food on all my orders I've had and I have ordered diffrent items on my orders and always nice food delivery service very good

First time trying this place as my local indian restaurant isn't tasty. Wasn't disappointed the food was very tasty veg curry which I normally swerve was lovely and full of flavour as opposed to being an over spiced filler. Very excited to see a goan dish on the menu so will be trying that next.

We ordered from here throughout lockdown and everything was tasty and fine until about a month ago when the food suddenly become very oily and flavorless. We ordered all the same food that we have always had but the food quality was just not the same. It was a real shame because we used to really enjoy a takeaway from here - i hope it was just a passing phase but have not yet been brave enough to order from here again

Food is cooked with care and healthy oil.

We have had some lovely food from this takeaway. The telephone service is great and polite. The sag aloo is so tasty and the bhuna fab. My husband has about 4 mains and loves them all. Thank you from us. Len and sheena

Got a takeaway, Vegetable Dopiaza, Bombay Aloo, Palak paneer, rice, a biryani, I think. Only the the paneer was good, everything else was unseasoned. Pretty bad for a London curryhouse.

We are regulars of Isha and the food has always been amazing. However last night I pre ordered food for 7.15 as we had guests coming and the food arrived an hour early. When we asked the delivery driver what our options were he said the only thing he could do was to take it back to the restaurant and they would keep the food warm and then bring it back for 7.15 so I turned the food away as I want fresh cooked food which is why I pre ordered and our guests hadn't even arrived. We didn't even receive a phone call from a manager to apologise for their error and this is not the kind of customer service I expect from a company we always order from.

This is by far one of the of the best i have experienced. I only go to these from now on, staff are amazing and if theres any problems they get it sorted straight away 10/10

We ordered a custom made curry tikka pizza and the burger pizza. Wow!! The base was just the perfect softness and taste, along with flavourful toppings. Quick service and great pizzas. Would recommend it.

This is a delivery/take away and we have always had a great meal over the years. It is our go to Indian meal and have never been disappointed with the food

Lovely Indian only down fall is the tikka masala doesn't majorly taste like masala but other than that it was lovely

As this is local and had proved good when first opened i tried twice to be loyal. Both times I gave up as their phone manner and competence is hilarious. Computer ordering broke, card me offline

First time ordering and the food was absolutely delicious! Ordered pretty late in the day too but that didn’t impact the quality at all. Portions were huge and all the food was boiling hot so clearly fresh from the stove, I was really impressed and will definitely be ordering again! I’ve spent a while trying to find a decent Indian in the area and these guys are now my go to - highly recommended!

Service has gone downhill a lot and have noticed that they can't even be bothered to fix their card machine, so I won't be ordering from them again. Shame, was a regular customer for years.

Food is excellent and tasty and very big portions. Make sure to try the chicken tikka biryani its just so succulent and satisfying. Chef knows what he is doing for sure! Try it and leave a reply to my comment!

Tasty food, always get my Indian food from here.

My first time ordering from Isha Spice London - I was a bit unsure initially as previously ordered Indian food in this area and was left disappointed... Isha Spice came through and restored my faith in the local Indian cuisine. I did order takeaway which was delivered approximately 10 minutes after they said it would be, however, the food was so delicious and still hot and the delivery guy apologised for the slight delay so it didn't matter. Their menu is easily accessible and its super easy to place an order - either online or via the app or using services such as Just Eat. I personally ordered from their website directly. The food was delicious, not greasy or leaving a bad aftertaste as I have previously experienced from other Indian takeaways. Even my sister (who is a fussy eater) really enjoyed her lamb tikka jalfrezi and vegetable rice. I really enjoyed my chicken tikka biryani and keema naan. The vegetable sharer platter for 2 was also delicious and the popadoms. I don't normally make an effort to leave a review unless I am impressed - I am really impressed! Thank you Isha Spice!

I have used this takeaway a few times and the food was okay, but last week the nan bread so badly burned it was black! How do you send out food like this without knowing?

Delivery was very late and unfortunately tasteless.

A great curry and excellent service. It's so good we emptied out all the other indian menus, we've not had a bad meal from them. The service is polite, but friendly and it's normally a little quicker than they quote. The only time I've had to wait longer than they had stated, the manager gave me a free dish and a couple of poppadoms to keep my hunger at bay while I waited.
