The best gurmma shbzi (47 in the menu) in the UK. Also try the kubbedah ( 42 in the menu) juicy lamb kebab. I would 10 out of 10 and it is a must try restaurant. By the way I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 15 years and it is still the best.

Iran Restaurant serves wonderful food and has incredibly polite and friendly staff. I highly recommend the lamb shank and the mixed grill platter. I also greatly appreciated the Persian tea served at the end of the meal as a complimentary treat. I look forward to coming back soon!

The food has been so so delicious, I have been coming here every few months and I would really recommend it. Very authentic and rich and really impressed me being an Iraqi guy with many shared dishes with Iranian cuisine. Try the ghemeh, bamiah or fesenjan or the many ingenious starters!

My friend and I decided to attend the restaurant on a whim. We were met with the kindest hosts who delicately prepared our meal and,checked in on us. The meal portions are large and it is wonderfully and affordable! I can’t recommend this place enough, especially in this period of Covid and outdoor seating - we are well placed and kept warm through-out. I even had to remove my jacket. 5 star ratings. Iran Restaurant in the picturesque square of Shepherd Market, Mayfair is a must. The staff are brilliantly welcoming, hospitable and the food is so delicious. I had the sea bass which was so fresh. We dined during the 'eat outside only' time in the pandemic recovery, it was a stormy evening with much rain and wind, but under the outside covers with heaters we were cosy, dry and warm, so you can visit this restaurant in all weather. Visited this local restaurant for a lunch and it’s was beautiful food feels like home away from home . Mixed kebab was absolutely melting in a mouth. We had range of starters and and wine . Staff was super friendly and helpful with a choice of food unlike some restaurants when waiters have no idea what they serving. Outdoor seating is comfortable and very warm - nice sofas and warm heaters . Would definitely came back again !

We came here after hearing about it from friends. Outdoor seating has heating and the portions are huge, the waiter was lovely and attentive. Extra compliments to the chef as the food was great!

Just been here, had an informal launch, mostly meze but... they were amazing! Our waiter was Ramhes (hope spelled correctly) , super kind and helpful. Very fast service, correctly priced considering the area. Will come back for sure for to try more dishes of their menu.

We chose this for our first restaurant after lockdown. Location was stunning, the view and the aesthetics were brilliant. The food we ordered came within 15 minutes which I was very pleased by. The owner was very down-to-earth and the waiters were very amazing as well. But for the prices of the food, I would've expected a lot more to arrive to my plate which was a let-down. The starters(chicken salad) was amazing, but the main course(mixed grill for two) had tasteless chicken. Lastly, the dessert(roulette) was absolute perfection. overall would recommend.

We’ve been here a few times, and every time we’re treated like VIPs. The food is delicious, be sure to try the aubergine dips (there are 3 different ones) that come with fluffy flat bread. I would like to share my experience about my Take-away order from Iran restaurant in Mayfair.........We have ordered quite a big order of kebab kobideh and Chicken for our family, and it was absolutely delicious,juicy ,fresh and tender without forget the saffron and berries rices...just excellent Highly recommended to anyone like authentic Persian cuisine

We ordered the lunch yesterday and picked it up. Very nice behavior, big portions (instead of two kebab, they gave us 3 for one portion). Nice packaging during the Corona situation. Side dishes like yogurt, tomatoes, union and somaq free of charge. The price for one big portion was also fair. With one more additional kebab, whole portion would be enough even for 3 person.

Ordered rice and minced lamb kebab, which was quite tasty. Happy with the quality and will be a loyal patron.

Wonderful food from a fantastic restaurant. Outdoor seating for all seasons, with heating in winter, in a quiet, pedestrianised area in Mayfair. Recently had takeaway which was delivered quickly. Portions were very generous. I'd recommend the lamb shank - delicious, melt in your mouth!
