Best curry in St Albans! Visited here a few times and been meaning to write a review. Firstly, all the staff are lovely, attentive and extremely polite. Secondly, the menu is fantastic, they give the option for a more tapas style on the starters - basically had every single one now with the exception of one or two and they are all flavoursome, I recommend getting a few before a main meal and exploring the different ones. The same goes for the mains, they are amazing, in particular the Dal Makhani. Seriously it is amazing and you could live off it, it's that good! Regarding the price point, phenomenal, the value for money you get in there will not be exceeded elsewhere.

Attentive staff: they will happily explain you the menu inclusing a video demonstration of size portions and dish presentations. The staff was super polite and paid attention to small details. They did not rush to pick up the dishes and allowed us time to choose our food wisely providing also great recommendations. Food: presentation and taste 10/10. My favs were Chicken MoMo and Prawn Curry. All the food was delicious and tasty. Definitely one of my top indian restaurants. I definitely recommend it.

This was categorically The worst Indian food I’ve had in my life and has put me off eating Indian again. Briyani was definitely a few days old dhal was tasteless and garlic naan was not fresh. Sad to leave such a bad review but seriously money down the drain. The delivery driver was courteous and text notifications were good.

Excellent and varied Indian cuisine & pleasant service. The chef here must be very special . The Hyderabadi Lamb Biryani , the House Pinot Noir & Lakshmi ( our delightful waitress ) were all very special.

Absolutely awful curry - the worst I’ve ever had in 50yrs. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb bhuna. The CTM had very little flavour, and totally bereft of the creamy, coconutty tikka flavour that is universally loved. The bhuna resembled a mix of cat food and stew. Very limited menu. No types of rice to choose from - only plain. Genuinely can’t understand why this place gets good reviews: thought it was awful. Would give it 0 stars if I could

Great place. Food was very good. We ordered salmon for a starter and was exquisite. Our waiter- best ever, my husband has really strict diet but our waiter was very helpfull and give us a lot of suggestions. Fully recommend that place. PS. rainbow cocktail delicious😍

Best in St Alban's (no debate). Lovely friendly environment and pukka food. Been a few times and will go many more 11/23 update. Still the best. Tried Kerala Prawns today. Never disappointed !!

Infuse was an excellent location for a great night out. They accommodated a large group of us. The service was good. The food fantastic. I will return.

This is a really fantastic Indian restaurant! the food was incredible, very fresh and super tasty. You are spoilt in the UK for Indian food but this is one of the best I've ever tried. One of the highlights is that the owner is very involved. He designed the menu and so is very knowledgeable about where each dish comes from and exactly what ingredients is used. He also served the tables. I'm vegetarian but prefer to eat vegan and there were lots of options of both. I wish I took a photo, but highly recommended. I'll be back.

Amazing Indian, creative, fun and delicious!

Food was delicious and service was great. The only thing I didn't like was the rowdy customers. Probably not the best place for a romantic meal as you can't hear each talking. We had the bread basket. It was enough for 2 people and then some. The momos were my favorite. The butter chicken was also delicious.

So, I visited this place after my graduation. We chose this place because it was the closest Indian place to our car park. Dint expect much but a usual Indian restaurant in the UK but My God! What an experience it was.. We were famished after traveling all the way from Exmouth and all the graduation functions..but the food was mind-blowing.. the first sip of lassi..took me back to restaurants in India..that's the greatest compliment you can give any food..it gives you memories/takes you to places..just like in Ratatouille.. We ordered biryani, nan and chicken tikka masala.. it was sooo delicious..we kept eating even though we were so full..also ended up ordering desert : Rasmalai.. This is truly a hidden gem in St.Albans.. i wish we had a branch in Exeter/southwest.. Also great service and great team! Kudos!!!! Packed some home for my husband as well!

Hands down the best Indian meal I've had in my life! We called late on a Saturday night and the restaurant kept the kitchen open for us and gave us a table - extremely friendly, accommodating and attentive staff I wasn't expecting such incredible food for a last minute reservation but it blew my mind - especially the onion bhajis wow Thank you!!!!!

The website is completely misleading. They claim that they are master chefs and have worked in michelin star restaurants and hotels is very hard to believe as there was no evidence to support these claims. The restaurant wasn't clean, It was empty and the food was cold, bland and of extremely poor quality. Very disappointing!

Fantastic lamb curry, extremely authentic

Celebrated a family birthday here. Food was great, probably the best tikka masala I've had in or around London. The waiter was friendly, attentive and even brought the cake out for us, providing a knife and plates. My partner and I will definitely be returning

Most amazing place came all the way from Lincolnshire for the wonderful biryani. Always recommended this place to people coming to St Albans. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A lovely experience with welcoming staff, made to feel relaxed instantly. We’ve visited before and ordered off their a la carte and everything has been incredible but tonight we went for their ‘Classic indian night’ a wonderful food tour of the menu through starters and main course, a bit of everything- and to top it off with a bottle of wine per person! Great value and even better food, we can’t praise Sameer and team highly enough.

The food was absolutely the worst Indian food I’ve every tasted… to the point I was nearly sick. It’s actually put me off having an Indian ever again. The tikka masala tasted like dog food after a few mouthfuls. Id compare the food to supermarket microwave curry at best. The wine was 30£ a bottle, better off with Asda’s home brand. The service was ok.

Somewhat surprised at seeing a poor review after my experience. Good quality Goan fish curry and I ended up having a second really nice bread to mop everything up. Good pud, good line soda. Nice service.

We were disappointed with the quality of food. Lack of taste. It seemed as though we had one sauce (cheap and tasteless) that been used in each dish. The rice must have been cooked the previous day, it was tough and we had to throw it away. It seemed as though the chicken dishes were 80% sauce with a bit of bland chicken. They also missed one of our dishes which, when I eventually persuaded them we had a missing dish, it arrived after we had all finished eating. Altogether, an experience that we would NEVER try again.

We'd had takeaways from Infuse, always scrummy, so we went there to celebrate my husbands birthday. Food is delicious, definitely recommended.

We’ve been looking for an Indian style restaurant to go to with the family on a Sunday afternoon and found this little gem. I have to say the food was of a quality I rarely experience in this country. Amazing quality. Good service and all at a sensible price. I will undoubtedly return, hoping that we get the same again. Delicious. The chef is a genius.

Service was slow, but food was fantastic

Outstanding restaurant. What an absolutely amazing place. I have never eaten better Indian food and the atmosphere was a welcome change being tranquil with soft music and lighting. The food was the star though, the tandoori king prawns were so succulent and every one of us said how delicious it all was. A great choice for veggies and a simple but comprehensive choice all round.

I have been there twice. Ok so, the food is good, nothing to say about it, very tasty and succulent. Service is ok, not very attentive, very informal which is fine if you don't have high expectations. The atmosphere is ok, not much vibes or music. In the end, if you fancy some good indian food at a decent price, Infuse is very suggestible.

Just wandered in early Friday evening for some side dishes, we had veggie samosas, masala chips, potato and pea patties and a really good black dal with a naan bread, all were tasty, service was prompt and polite and the lime sodas were excellent, will definitely eat here again when in Snorbans

A friend recently introduced me to this restaurant and I was very impressed. It's not as flashy as some of the larger curry houses but rather a good atmosphere. The place was full but the service was good and the food was excellent. Will be taking my wife back to eat there soon.

Food always fresh and excellent. 💯 You MUST try their gulab jaman cake! April2019: Starters were mediocre for taster menu experience but the shining light was Choori chaat- gotta try that again. The mains were flavoursome and varied. Need to try varied menu beyond limited taster menu. Definitely great start and hope to go on better and better

We used to be regulars and loved the food. We came back to visit and the food has gone completely downhill. It was so bland and the curries slightly sweet. Extremely disappointed as it used to be a little gem.

Went with my daughter early Friday evening. Been here before,as with last time was a lovely experience. I had the Infuse Gin and Tonic,delicious with a ginger kick,my daughter was on vodka. We were only looking for a small meal,shared poppodoms,chicken malai tikka,Delhi makhani paneer,saffron pilao rice and garlic naam. Perfect amount,and all cooked perfectly. Finished with Limoncello’s. The staff were great,very attentive,look forward to a return visit.

We went to this restaurant after trying some of the food on St Albans market. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and suggested some excellent starters and main courses. The menu is very wide ranging and authentic originating from different parts of India. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to and I would definitely recommend a visit or a takeaway

Wow! Very impressed. In the heart of the town a nice atmosphere and very friendly service with a great manner. The menu offered lots of choice for all dietary choices, which is rare for us vegans. The vegan "lamb chops" were spicy and delicious, every starter and main meal at the table was excellent and polished off in full. We were there with grandchildren which were welcomed and accomodated, the waiter even joining in and wearing birthday hats. Highly recommended and in a town that has high standards and plenty of options, this for me stands out. Thank you. The best Indian food I remember having.

I read all the write ups on this restaurant and looked forward to it. Staff friendly, quick service, but I was the only one there as I was early. Ordered a lamb buna. It had hardly any taste and seemed like it was casserole meat, which is a bit unfair when I don't know. Asked about why it didn't seem hot(spicy), and he said, "we don't do hot." Why is there a vindaloo on the menu then. Quite expensive for what I got.
