Really good Indian food in Shoreditch! We were starving and wanted a restaurant without a wait time, and we very pleasantly surprised at how good it was ! The setting was nice and the food was amazing!! The Samosa Chaat was incredible as well as the Murgh makhani. The garlic Naan was phenomenal!! Over all great experience.

sunday evening nice and quiet, service good, prices good, food great, samosa chaat was 2 samosas on a plate with all the dressing on top so 2 people had one each (for one order) and 2 bowls of rice was good enough for 3 people you could obviously order another if you disagree at the time, 1 starter 3 mains 3 naan 2 rice 3 drinks under £60 10% service charge on bill (i always take that off the bill if paying by card and give the service charge in cash hoping the waiters etc do actually get it ) although it did not say on the receipt service charge is always optional. the menu seemed quite small, usually means good food and so it did. though no korma or stuffed parata it was a lovely meal and a large mug for coffee, hard to find in alot of restaurants.

Visited the Rich mix venue and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the friendly and efficient service we experienced in their onsite restaurant. The Menu is quite wide but we elected to have pizzas.These were a good choice as they were delicious and at at a really great price. I would recommend Indi-go to anyone looking for tasty value for money meals in Shoreditch.

Firstly we were acknowledged as we entered the restaurant then seated immediately by a young fellow. We ordered Mint tea which was received very quickly and believe it or not it was fresh mint leaves. This is a first for me ordering and tea to actually get fresh leaves for the tea. We ordered 3 different pizzas which also was received very quickly and all three pizzas were great. The atmosphere was calm and not too noisy while we sat and had our conversations without worrying about hearing ourselves. . I was impressed by the service the food and the time it took to receive everything. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to the neighborhood and visiting tourists. I was visiting from the U.S.

We had a lovely meal here, the atmosphere was enjoyable and staff were fantastic, we will be back with family and friends next time

I'm addicted to the masala dosa. It is full of flavour and just the right amount of heat. I have at least one a week. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Not to be missed!

We've been here a few times and - as always - the staff were first class; welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The concise menu offers tasty affordable food. We'll be back!

I eat her from time to time when in Shoreditch. It serves the best Masala Dosas in London ... and they’re under £10. The Bhel Puri is pretty decent too! The Masala Dosa comes with a tasty Sambal (medium hot) and two delicious chutneys.

The staff are ridiculously under trained in the most basic of things! We asked what was gluten free and nobody knew not even the chefs! Though the menu said they offered these options, the staff had no idea!! Absolutely shocking!!!

I was a bit sceptic in the beginning because the restaurant was empty ....but the food was really tasty and fresh ..also service was good..

Indigo is located at a very prime location,just at the beginning of Bricklane.Its lighted very well and gives you a good feeling while dining because of it perfect lighting and ambience.We had ordered Aubergine Curry,Samosa Chat,Paneer Tikka Grilled Wrap,Peshwari Naan,Mango Lassi And Mix Veg Dosa.Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot and garnished well on time.

I was pretty hungry, so had a vegetarian starter and lamb seekh kebab, both were very tasty. I'll definitely visit again but only for main, only reason I didn't award 5 / 5 was that the starter was the same price as the main meal, and I think £7 is too much for a vegetarian appetiser.

Really good quality dosa and tarka dal - thoroughly recommended for lovely Indian food. The service was fast, the restaurant clean and the food delicious and a really good size portion.

Went to the one in box park, food was awesome and the staff were great, i was running late and still in the queue, i asked one of the staff members how long my food will take roughly, then he asked me what i'm ordering and i told him and he went round to the kitchen and got it ready so when i got to the till to order my food was ready and waiting!!

Mi pareja y yo tuvimos la comida fuerte que tuve el pollo tandoori con arroz muy sabroso y ensalada con menta rita y mi compañero tenía la misma, excepto que tenía cordero. Ambos disfrutamos nuestras comidas eran liviano y sabroso, lo cual era perfecto antes de ver una película.

Great light, decent enough refreshments and plenty of space to work or have a meeting.Service could be more polite but the staff have good intentions just need to improve this.Part if the very cool rich mix venue that was filmed as part of the location for Channel 4's internet cool Loaded series about digital gurus.Good to stay for a short amount of time. I am yet to taste the food, but there have been some very good reviews, so perhaps I will sample this soon.

We were in the Westfield shopping centre and could not decide on what to eat for lunch. We then came upon the stand in the food hall and noticed how fresh and good it looked and the food is cooked there. My husband had the mixed meats and I had chicken tikka both very tasty fresh and good value and the nan bread is also cooked there and tastes so different to the ready made in a very good way. Not the cheapest lunch you could have but not ridiculous price either just good fresh tasty food for a reasonable cost worth a visit if there shopping .

Stopped by here this morning with my 5 year old daughter, after a fellow foodie, told me about the place. I LOVE Indian food, and am very fussy about it (having lived in India for a year, and Hong Kong - which has an amazing Indian food scene - for many years). It was such a wonderful surprising find. For a mere £6.50... we had an awesome Indian breakfast: a perfect vegetable curry, scrambled egg with coriander and onion and paratha. Oh, and a hot drink. We struggled to finish it all between us. I am going back! I loved it. I was also really surprised by how warm and friendly the staff were - and so kind to my daughter. Thank you for making our morning so wonderful.

When a bit off-piste from what I would normally order in an Indian restaurant, and went for a vegetarian paneer dish. Really enjoyed it, and will definitely go back if in the area again. Staff were fun and friendly.

Can't find a page for the Westfield Mall place, so I'll put this here.Obviously, the Street Food concept is tailored for a mall much more than a restaurant.The menu is not too large, which I appreciate. I've eaten there three times and was always happy about the food.Samosas are homemade and delicious, have nothing to do with the deep fried convenience products you get in so many places.I like spicy Lamb Vindaloo, and this certainly delivers without being too overpowering.Service is fast, but you better have your order ready when it's your turn. this is a place where nobody has time on their hands. Part of the concept, I guess.Cooking goes quickly, and it's fascinating to watch. Very good options for Vegetarians, too, the way you only find them in Indian places.Keep in mind that the Westfield Mall is a shopping place. This is not set for a 4-hour dinner.Overall very recommendable.

I was owed a refund from Indigo and arranged one over the telephone with a member of staff. I gave my card details and two weeks later had the bank contact me about fraudulent activity. An individual trying to spend nearly £300 at a vape store and other stores in the local vicinity of bethnal green using a clone version of my card. I have been trying to contact indigo but of course management are refusing to talk to me. Stay away from this place :))

I had lunch at their branch at the Westfield Mall. I was quite delighted, because the food display, made it easy for me, to make an informed choice. I also liked the waiting-device, it flashes when your food is ready.

We ate here last night and I have to say the food and the service were both very disappointing. In particular the food was poor quality and the waiter unhelpful. We ordered some uttapum which came with lentils. The uttapum were passable and the accompanying lentil dish just about ok. But if the uttapam came with lentils why did the waiter allow us to order another dish of lentils for £8!! He could have suggested that we don't waste our money or order something different. The lamb chops were tasty but they weren't char-grilled enough. They should have been been sizzling rather than lukewarm. With rice and roti the bill came to almost £40 and this was without drinks (they don't serve alcohol) which I thought was way too expensive for 'street food'. We should have known really. The place was completely empty at 7pm and also quite dirty. It is in an area of London where there are so many Indian and Bengali restaurants many excellent and all vying for business. They really need to up their game! Try Dishoom or Tayyabs, much better quality food and cheaper. Or any of the restaurants on Brick Lane.

Das Essen war sehr gut; die Weine genauso. Gewundert habe ich mich ein bißchen, daß wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Das mag zum einen daran liegen, daß es eben ein Hotelrestaurant ist, zum anderen, daß wir an einem Wochentag dort waren. Am Service kann es jedenfalls nicht liegen, der auch sehr gut war.

Came here with a group of 13 people for lunch. It was quiet with only a couple of customers but service was very slow. One staff member sat down and was having a chat and the other was trying to serve people in between making our drinks order. When the food and drinks did arrive there were no complaints. The food is fresh and flavoursome and the coffee was nice. Expect a service charge on top of your bill if in a large group.

Dem war nicht so und wurde zusätzlich berechnet. Die Auberginen waren viel zu scharf, obwohl ausdrücklich nicht scharf bestellt wurde. Das Lamm war super. Am Ende kam eine zu hohe Rechnung. Mit der Summe waren wir nicht einverstanden und sind unzufrieden gegangen. Das Personal war nur zu Beginn aufmerksam. Das Restaurant empfehle ich nicht. Die Location ist gut. Ich gebe dennoch 3 Sterne.

We had dinner at Indigo and we really liked it. The food was very tasty and the Lassi was also great.

Tried them out with Deliveroo. The Kashmiri Lamb was superb and the Prawn Puri was fragrant and tasty. Good authentic textures and flavours, although the naan bread was a bit hard in the middle... possibly due to the delivery timing? Overall, hard to fault and would definitely order again.

I've been to Indi-go for lunch several times now and it is always a fantastic experience. The food is excellent, the service super friendly and it's a really nice relaxing space. Definitely one of my top five places for lunch in Shoreditch.

I was impressed with the level of service, cleanliness and atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

It's a bit pricy but the food was good, very clean restaurant and the decor was Bollywood/ western maybe the 30s. We tried all the South Indian dishes Dosa, papdi chaat, chicken biryani, pani puri and chips for my daughter. It all came to £48.00 I think it's too expensive for and a small amount of varietyso I probably next time go to another dosa place which is more reasonably priced.

One must try their food as they use their heart in food prep. Chicken Tikka, Aalo Tikki to Dosa all are very tasty.

I think this restaurant, it's not really different from any other Indian restaurant.In an exception of the design and decoration that makes it a bit more American style.The food was fine, and the service was quick, so I would recommend this restaurant for a casual meal only.

We had a great visit here, opted for the "Indi Bento" box which included a curry of your choice, rice, chickpea curry, onion bhaji, salad and naan. It was so tasty and everything you want! The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Great value .

The same dish will vary in spices (e.g.: chilli content) based on where you get it. I had lamb briani at Westfield Shepherd Bush and at Bluewater shopping mall and it tasted differently.

I booked a lunch for 8 people, my coworkers and I, at the last minute, and they made space for us. The food was delicious, they had plenty of choice, they recommended dishes and their vegan option was on point! Super friendly, tasty food, great location and awesome staff.

Heerlijk gegeten. Ze hebben niet alleen pittige gerechten maar ook verfijnde gerechten. De portie had wat mij betreft iets groter kunnen zijn terwijl mijn diner partner veel te veel had. Zeer vriendelijke bediening die regelmatig langs komen om te vragen of alles in orde is.

Decent Indian food, nicely served. Very convenient for cinema and arts venue at Richmix. Service was a bit patchy but maybe they were training a new young waiter. No chocolate for ice cream or milkshakes, fantastic pecan pie! And good coffee.

It was my first time trying food in this restaurant and I need to say that portion are very large and delicious. Indian food might be recognised as spicy however, my waitress recommended to me alternative version which I enjoyed a lot. Grill chicken with light yogurt sauce with naan bread. - DELICIOUS I'm not a fan of spicy food - as I mentioned before but I love the sweet potato fries!

I don't think this is a bad restaurant, it simply didn't live up to my expectations. If your going to start a restaurant chain- make sure all of your restaurants are up to the same standard. On the front door it had the ratings from this page, so I'm putting the review onto this page.I personally had the Dosa and thought the chickpea curry was mediocre and best. The flavours just weren't there. It kind of reminded me of an experimental soup dish- a dull flavour camouflaged with spice.The service wasn't anything special, it definitely didn't feel like a special treat.The only thing that I really enjoyed were the okra fries- so so so good.Wouldn't visit again.

They run a half price offer from 7-8 pm which is amazing value for money considering how good the food is.

Had a business meeting here, and needed to eat quickly. Service was excellent: we explained we were short of time and asked if they could serve us quickly, and the manager said 'yes, 5 mins' - and lo & behold, our food arrived in exactly 5 mins! We had 2 different dosa, both of which were delicious and good portions, alongside a free portion of sambal (spicy lentil soup). The menu was extensive, including plenty of veggie options and soft drinks. Prices are a bit variable (£4.50 for lassi is quite pricey!) but for the dosa were pretty good, especially for London. I'd happily eat there again :)

Ordered a chicken tikka wrap and veg samosas. The wrap was poorly put together so the food was falling out a huge hole in the side which made a simple meal awkward to eat. The chicken was average but the wrap was soggy from the moment it arrived. The samosas were the worst I've ever had, they lacked everything! They also played loud dance music to top off an awful dining experience. 12.5% service added on to the bill as well.Absolute cowboys.

We came here based on its Tripadvisor rating and were left disappointed. It may seem great for people who may not be from an Indian origin but, if you are you may be able to tell that a lot of the food is not authentically Indian and not of a high quality. I had to ask for the bill three times and only received it when i put on my jacket and stood upto leave.

In my opinion indi-go is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to in my life. The food was amazing, great staff (especially the manger Sham Mahabir), and a friendly environment.

Don't let yourself be fooled by the location - a little off other Shoreditch hip places, directly on the main road - we only went in trusting other reviews here...and were rewarded with great, fresh and a little not-so-mainstream Indian food. Extremely nice service. We'll be back.

To start, I love Indian food and have been lucky to have traveled all over India the last few years -- so I like to think I know what's good and what's not at this point. That said, I found Indigo thru Trip Advisor when trying to avoid the usual Brick Lane vibe -- and the good reviews are all true! Fantastic aromatic food, lovely service, colorful decor and overall nice vibe in an amazing part of East London. Took the server's suggestion and ordered Adraki chicken curry ('spicy' of course!) -- a dish I probably would've looked past opting for one of my usual favs. As well as the prawn poori and some butter naan.All were exceptional and I left totally stuffed and totally satisfied. Definite recommend - thanks Trip Advisor ;)

It was my first time, I have never eaten Indian before, but I really enjoyed it! I ordered a mixed veg dosa (a south indian crispy pancake made from rice and lentil). It was really tasty and not so spicy!

We, a party of six, arrived at 18:45 on a Saturday evening to celebrate a mate's birthday. Place was empty and was strangely still empty at 19:45. We expected a buzzing, lively dining room instead of just us, but we persevered. We ordered drinks (expensive) and food. I am assured that the food tabled is traditional South Indian fair and I was impressed with my paneer and spinach and separate lamb curry. Other orders included prawn curry, a large veg Dosa and various chick pea dishes. Feedback all good. The staff were also very friendly.Why a three star review then? Well, I don't like the venue. It's part of next doors cinema and it feels a bit lobbyish and indistinct. Also, to have no other diners around didn't help either. It was too empty for our liking.

We were greeted by Mendi who was very friendly and showed us to our table. The complimentary popadoms and pickles were enough to see us through to the main course. The food came less than 10 minutes (just enough time to allow our food to settle), after the starter and it was hot and delicious. I rate this restaurant 11/10 for friendliness and service. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. Go and enjoy their cuisine.

I firmly recommend the Masala Dosa and the Mixed Uttapam. Would order again for these two dishes.
