Indian Lounge in Flintshire

I have supported and loved this place for a few years. Before the pandemic it was THE place to go - and it was brilliant. We have started to go back - takeaways only. I'm sorry but this place is not what it was for food. We've given it several chances, but now we're at the point of not going back. Our meal tonight was awful. Shahee - "mince meat and chicken, capsicum,tomato and onion"; it was basically a mince casserole with some chicken thrown in. You could argue tomato because it was reddish, but that's it. I was a student in Leeds and the most basic backstreet curryhouses did better than this. This isnt the first time we've been bitterly disappointed, but enough is enough. There is s fab restaurant in Rhuthun called Himalayan- try it, it's amazing!

Food was lovely, best Indian food we have had in a long time. The service was adequate in that they brought you food and took away the plates. A separate charge was made for the pickles and mint raita which was unusual in my experience. I always tip very well for the service if deserved but this time no tip was left as we asked for coke with no ice, ice arrived, we mentioned this and the waiter shrugged and left. We mentioned to another waiter and a g glass with a spoon was brought to remove the ice. We asked for a martini cosmo cocktail and a martini alone was brought, once again his was mentioned and 20 mins later the cocktail arrived. We were really not impressed by the service which was definitely well below par (it seems they want you in and out asap to maximise the turnover)So the food was excellent, shame about the attention to the customer experience. Will we go back? Yes but unless they improve the customer service then no tip will be let. Shame really s it came really highly recommended,

Indian lounge came up as one of the best Indian restaurants within the area of Denbighshire on our visit to Wales. We were not disappointed because the food was one of the tastiest Indian food I have had in a while. The choice of the lamb sauce by the chef was on point and the freshly made nan bread went well together. I would definitely recommend going to Indian lounge if you are in the area.

Arrived on a quiet Monday night to a friendly greeting without any reservation. Inside looks to be recently renovated. Good standard Indian menu with all the favourites. Attentive staff, didn't wait long on food, reasonable prices and more importantly lovely fresh food. Best Indian I have had in a long time.Would recommend if in the area.

First time at Indian Lounge, and wow, warm welcome from staff, great atmosphere, food is amazing. We were not rushed at all, we will definitely be back, and will recommend to friends.

We ordered a take away for collection for a family meal.The order was taken by a gruff man, who sounded like he didn't really want the order, which should have been a warning to us.It took half an hour longer than they said. These things happen at times so I wasn't that worried until, having got it all home 4 items were missing. When stuff is missing from a take away you are immediately in a difficult position. The food you have goes cold while you return for the missing items or half of you tuck in and the other half have to wait etc. On top of the inconvenience of returning to pick up the missing items. So the meal is essentially ruined, and in this case it came on top of a stressful day and blew up causing more family issues that a good meal should have helped resolve.This restaurant still managed to forget 1 item (Indian wedges), when I returned. With hindsight I should have known that the attitude of the guy who took my order (who I think is the boss) should have been a warning about how little they care.The food was OK, pretty good in fact for this area where we have found it hard to find a decent Indian. However it's not a patch on our preferred Indian. The decor and the building itself is pretty spectacular, unfortunately I doubt we'll try it out after this experience.

AMAZING! The best Indian Ive ever had. Peshwari naan was insaaane. Really nice venue and really efficient staff! Would recommend!

The food here is really really good, very tasty. No long wait for it either. Good attentive service. Really nice decor. Some difficulty getting online to look at menu which I presume is a Covid thing, but then they bring you a laminated dessert menu to your table ‍♀️Looking forward to visiting again very soon

Delicious food, great wine list, excellent service and lovely decor. We really enjoyed our meal last night. The liqueur coffees at the end of the meal were superb too! Thank you!

The place has recently had a face lift and looks really smart, the staff are brilliant and always making sure that all your needs are catered for.The food is sublime and it has the best Nan bread we've ever eaten.It's simply a must, don't waste your money on disappointing takeaways or like us dine in, you won't be disappointed!!!

Excellent food, outstanding service - with tasty drinks. The portion sizes were big and the food was not greasy. Was very well presented on the plate and the hospitality was excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants we have visited as a family - food melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was brilliant, with very comfy seating. The toilets were very clean.

I’ve been to the Indian lounge on a few occasions. Previously it’s been pretty good. Yesterday the food was still ok however there was a rather unpleasant sting in the tail.The menu for the restaurant is now on their website and this is how you access it to order. At the end of our meal our bill was substantially higher than advertised. We queried this and at first said we must have looked at the takeaway menu. We hadn’t. We then showed them and then we’re told that they haven’t updated their menu yet and that the prices were now higher (10-15% higher) in what is already an expensive Indian. I’m pretty certain this isn’t legal. There is a small disclaimer that prices may change due to Covid, this isn’t the issue here. The issue is that they simply charge more than their advertised price. To cap it all off when I asked to speak to the manager I got quite an unpleasant reception when I queried the situation. I wasn’t rude or unhelpful and I simply received a lot of hassle in return. The staff also only wore masks 50% of the time. I don’t think I’ll ever be returning. It’s a shame, nice restaurant but they take people for granted.

Visiting the restaurant for our anniversary. The food is good, but spoilt by the volume within the establishment. Tables full of diners who were oblivious to their totally unacceptable volume. I don't exaggerate by saying you could not hear yourself think. Numerous complaints to management were met with nothing more than blank stares into space. These dinners are regulars and obviously worth while regarding spending power. Avoid at all costs without ear plugs!!!!

We have always enjoyed the food from the Indian Lounge and recommended it to our friends but the last 3 to 4 times we have had food from there is has been very poor to say the least. Last night we thought we would give it another try and it was even worse. The meat tasted awful and I could not eat it. Unfortunately my partner persevered and paid the price!!! He was really ill and vomitting!! It´s such a shame that the standards here have dropped so appallingly.

4 of us booked for Saturday end November 2020. Food was to die for, the best we've had outside of India (and we've been going to India every year for the last 20 years)! Sadly, the noise level was unbearable (due to a table of several very loud twenty/thirty something's) who the thought it was ok to wander around the restaurant, shouting to people in the table behind us less than 3 feet away. A complaint to the manager/owner brought a shrug and a negative response "I have tried to stop it but they won't listen"! Unreal. The owner lost control totally of the situation and seemed to think that it was ok?!! My husband banged on his plate with his lamb bone (well, he is a butcher!) Everyone shut up and he sailed for calm and that all take heed of the situation.ucj clapping ensued. The offending party left and calm was restored. We guess the 'noisies' had spent much money and that meant they could ignore the rules. Fair play tho, the restaurant acknowledged that they had fallen short of the rules and the food was amazing! We will return.

Lovely food. All of our party loved their dishes, the chicken Korma was amazing. Great, attentive staff, and a lovely modern look, feel and atmosphere to the restaurant. Most definitely will be returning in future.

Last 2 orders, Madras had a really strong stench of burnt garlic or nuts or sesame, i couldnt figure it out and neither could the staff, no one else had complained so i was fobbed off. Wish i could put the smell on here.

We very much enjoy Indian food and consider this place to be amongst the tastiest we have eaten at. We often get takeaway and have previously eaten in, and the service has been great. The food is always really tasty and we’ll be back!

Some 5 years have passed since we posted a review re .the Indian lounge and during this time we have been regular customers (approx.twice a month and recently using the take away service)---each visit and take away has been excellent ---service -presentation and quality is still as Tina Turner would sing"Simply the Best"!! Friday is for fizz, a great take out and chillaxin’ after a hard weeks work and it just wouldn’t be the same without a great take out from the Indian lounge.The staff are all friendly and helpful, they have a great bar area to enjoy a drink while you wait for your take out and the food is consistently good, that for me is paramount for any restaurant.We keep saying that we must eat in the restaurant, but we never do, but then you can’t take you shoes off and kick back the way you can at home.So until we can take our shoes off we’ll keep enjoying our great weekly take out.

This place is a lovely place to sample good Asian cuisine. The food is excellent and always very tasty. There is a takeaway service to, which we have found to be excellent value for money - especially the set menu.Value for money also is the Sunday lunch buffet which is available until 8.30 p.m. Always lots of choice and the dishes are replaced constantly. My only criticism would be that the staff don't always seem to be very welcoming leading one to feel a little ignored which seem to also be echoed in another reviewer’s comments. Bit more positive interaction with the customers (welcoming, smiling, saying goodbye etc) would be most welcome. But maybe we just caught them once or twice on an off day!Apart from that it is a great place to find delicious food reasonably priced.

First time here and it did not disappoint. Came on a recommendation and I will recommend this on to others. We perhaps over ordered! We ordered 5 mains but three between us would have been ok. We did add on lots of sides. Clean. Great atmosphere

We dine at the Indian Lounge at least every month. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the service is very good. Would highly recommend.

I aboslutely love the food at the Indian lounge the first time I went there the staff were happy and smiling but now they seem so unhappy don't know if they are rushed off their feet but i wish they were more welcoming and thankful and say good bye when you leave this is the only thing that I can say negatively about the place can't fault the food it is exceptional

We visited here just before new year and it was a lovely place, great atmosphere etc, however when questioning them on allergies they didn’t seem to be sure on what their food contained after asking 4 times. When I found something else in my food I asked again and I got a rude manager who couldn’t be bothered to check to see if my food was safe considering I’m severely allergic, he poured drinks instead, when someone finally explained to me what had happened I felt very mistreated... I had no apology for something bad getting into my food and just felt like i wasn’t valued, tbh I felt like taking money off the bill for rudeness, hopefully in future you will learn more about your allergies and learn how to deliver better customer service.

We where staying down the road at herons lake retreat, and decided to try here for a takeaway, we choose the set menu, great value for money. Food was full of flavour, enough food for lunch the next day to.

Reasonable food , not up to the standard of the Indian desi restaurants in Birmingham but this is a Bangladeshi restaurant . I could not complain about the food , for a Sunday buffet it was better than average What really knocked the edge of it for me was the overly miserable staff , they really made it look like they didn’t want us there . Shame really .

Our first visit, we would certainly go again. Plenty of parking, we were given a friendly and courteous greeting by the staff, we enjoyed a delicious meal

We have been to the Sunday buffet a few times now and whilst the restaurant is always very busy, there is still plenty to go around including the required vegetarian options. My only grumble is the nan bread is too sweet for my taste.

Extensive menu with something for everyone’s tastes. Superb food with very attentive staff and a complimentary drink with the bill. Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

This is a little gem! Superb food! Wonderful location. Lovely interior. Great staff. The Sunday Buffet is to die for! So beautifully cooked. Not oily or greasy just fabulous flavours. Something for everyone.

We have now started going to the Indian Lounge regularly and we have never been disappointed yet. We are slowing working our way down the menu and should have eaten all from the menu by the end of the year :-) Well recommended and the staff are very friendly.................

The buffet food was very good but the service was ok but unfriendly. We don’t necessarily want them to be over friendly but they were taking it too far the other way.

its a while since we've eaten here and having booked I thought I'd see what other people had experienced at the IL in the interim. I was a little anxious having read a few bad reviews , but frankly the food was as excellent as ever , I didn't recognise any of the staff who had served me so well on previous visits , but the guys were perfectly adequate, not perhaps as engaging as there predecessors , but not every waiter in the world has to be super entertaining . In short , if you've been before , don't be put off by the negative reviews , its just as good as i remember it .

Attended here after it being recommended by friends and colleagues. The Indian Lounge didn’t disappoint, excellent food and friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

I took my partner there for his birthday meal, first time visited and after numerous people recommended it we decided to give it a try. The meal was absolutely gorgeous and the waiters were attentive and lovely. Especially jazz. this is the 3rd time ive been to the indian lounge for the sunday buffet and the 3rd time ive realy enjoyed the food .they have a good selection of delicious starters and main dishes with plenty of meat in them.. .it is a nice clean restaurant and is well worth a visit .i will definitely be going again. .it is advisable to book a table in advance .

We had passed this place a few times and seen the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor so when we were invited to a family meal out it seemed a good idea to try it. We were not disappointed, the decor is clean and modern the service very good all the staff were friendly efficient and courteous. The food was very good, I had the chicken butter korhai? Which was a special others enjoyed a dopiaza, a korma, a biryani all were enjoyed. The bill was as expected and we will definitely return to sample more of the menu

Ordered set meal for two - so much food great value enough for 4 people. We were staying in Cilcain for a week and was recommended to go. Everything we ordered was real nice tasting would recommend if in the vicinity.

Best Indian food around by far, great buffet on Sunday. Booking advisable. Highly recommend. Nice atmosphere and staff.

Had a take away from here wasn’t bad everybody enjoyed the meal. Would go again but probably try the restaurant.

Ordered a take away from here, was recommended by a friend and inspired by some good reviews about it providing authentic India food. It’s not, I don’t believe any self respecting Indian person eats like this. The vegetables used were either frozen or tinned and tasteless. The popadoms were stale and chapatis rubbery. All in all I would say this is one of the poorest curry’s I’ve ever had.

This Indian restaurant is far better than I expected to find in such a remote location.

We ordered the set menu takeaway for two. The chutney's were nice, and the chicken tikka also. However, the popadoms smelt of rancid cooking fat, the Pasanda I ordered was tasteless with rubbery, bland chicken, and my husband's dansak was equally disappointing. Sadly, about 70 % of the meal went in the bin. I don't know if we just got a bad night as people seem to like this place, but we were very disappointed and won't be trying them again.

We had booked a table here a few weeks ago as it always seems busy, We arrived and were shown to our table, drinks orders were taken and menus provided. What a great choice of meals there are, will cover most fussy eaters. We had starters of Chicken Pakora, which was succulent chicken strips in batter with sauce and a little salad, and Popadums. All went down very well. Then there was a range of mains, Chicken Jalfrezi, Podina Gusht, which was a very tasty succulent Lamb Dish, Nilgiri Korma, a tasty Chicken Dish and a Chicken Curry.Then we had deserts and coffee's to round off the night. Ambience here was very good. Every table was full and there were many people in and out for take away meals.

I dont normally leave reviews but after dining here I felt I needed to. I came across this hidden little treasure when looking for somewhere to eat in and around the Mold area. After reading the reviews for the "Indian Lounge" I decided to book a table. The restuarante itself inside is lovely,furnished to a very high standard, even the menus were posh. When the food arrived (piping hot may I add), myself and my husband took one bite and said "Oh my god this is good". We have never tasted Indian food to this standard before. Being from Manchester we have lots of Indian restaurants to choose from but the Indian Lounge is by far the best. Even though the Indian lounge is an hour and half drive from Manchester we will definitely be going back. The staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you. It is very rare you receive good customer service any where these days but the guys at the Indian Lounge excel in hosting and really look after you. Its like going back in time when people had more time and manners so for this alone I would rate this little hidden gem as nothing less and excellent. Well done guys keep up the good work

Living in North Wales there are not many authentic Indian restaurants or takeaways but we have definitely found one here. We now do not need to travel all the way to Manchester to obtain one. When we were booking it was very busy and I can now see why, we had a meal here last night the food and service were five star! couldn't be better. The food was so fresh and tasty, and the staff are so friendly and helpful about the dishes. The restaurants itself looked great and had a really nice ambience. The prices were very reasonable as well. We will definitely be returning :)

We visited here for my Mum’s birthday as we all love Indian food, and had a really wonderful evening. The food was absolutely delicious, with something for everyone (including my picky little brother), we had a full three courses and could not fault it. It is quite loud in the restaurant, but we seemed to be able to ignore everyone else after getting settled. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we’ll definitely be back.

1st time at the Indian Lounge and just WOW. Food was simply perfect and the care and consideration to details by staff was excellent.

First time buffet here on Sunday. We've been here a few times and would otherwise rate it well. Generally good service and nice curries. However the Sunday buffet was below par. The food didn't seem fresh nor as tasty. Guess this might be an issue with buffet food in general. However, there's no excuse for the upset tummy we both suffered later. They also need to start serving some decent coffee. The instant variety or whatever it is, is a disappointing way to finish a meal out.

If you are in the area, I would highly recommend a visit here. It isn’t the cheapest Indian but you pay for the quality. My boyfriend and I both ordered starters which were super tasty but quite spicy! Then shared a curry as they was slightly out of our budget for one each. The garlic naan was absolutely beautiful, best I’ve ever tasted. But the service we received was absolutely fantastic. I’ve never seen or received such high quality service as we did here. Well done to the staff and thank you so much! We really did enjoy our food.

I went here at the end of September with friends and I have to say it was absolutely AMAZING !!!!!! I am not a massive curry fan but I will definitely be going back for a Korma it was to die for. The chutney was lush, the onion rice was Devine, the chicken Korma is the absolute best I have ever had and the chips were mouth watering I loved it that much, I would go there for take out and be happy to eat it cold great job guys

First through the door at 5pm no booking but shown straight to table.Service and food very good and plenty of choice on the extensive menu. Other customers soon started to arrive so I would suggest booking a table especially at weekends. All in all a very good meal and we will certainly return soon with friends.

Yet again, the service & food was top notch. As a seasoned Indian cuisine lover, this place ticks all the right boxes.

We've been here several times now for restaurant service and takeaways and cannot fault both the service and food. The staff are very courteous and attentive, the restaurant is always clean and tidy. Although there is an extensive menu with a variety of options, we often order a set meal because the value for money is exceptional. The food is always superb, very flavoursome and tender, never greasy like some restaurants. The price of the food is also good, not the cheapest but this is reflected in the quality which is worth it. If you're sick of the same of frozen boring pub food, I'd really suggest you give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Due to the nature of the building, (which is beautiful by the way) with high ceilings, beams & wooden floor, it can get very noisy when the restaurant is full, usually at the weekends so we now try to go midweek instead but other than that, this place is well worth a visit, it's a real gem.

Just called in here on for a takeaway my way home from work. Been driving past here for a couple of months, won't be driving past anymore. This is my new local for as long as I'm working in North Wales. Can't remember what the dish was called but it says it's mums favourite. Flawless curry, very tasty

We visited the restaurant on a Friday night, it was packed so I would recommend booking. We received a call from the restaurant 2.5 hours before our table time to check we were coming. Great service, great meal, what more can I say. We will definitely visit again.

It was very greasy and my partner has been very ill for 2 days going on 3. I would not recommend this place.

We go to numerous Indian restaurants as a work group, all over Chester, Wirral and North East Wales.

Food was very tasty and hot. Staff very attentive. Everywhere was spotless. We will definitely return.

Was passing through the area with my 4 young children on holiday, this restaurant was recommended by someone locally. My children maintained they didn't like Indian food. But they are still talking about our visit to Indian Lounge weeks later they enjoyed it so much. The food was just fantastic, super tasty and so fresh. It was on the more expensive side I would have thought, but the food was exquisite. Ordered Passanda, korma, balti and a prawn omelette, rice and naan. All was devoured, but the Passanda was the stand out dish with the children. Would love to visit again, will do if passing the area. Highly recommended.

We visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening as we were staying in the area. Looking at the map it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere so expected it to be quiet or closed, however we were pleasantly surprised to find that the majority of tables were taken and the food smelt amazing. We had starters and mains and everything we had was very good, extremely tasty and well presented. The chicken chat starter was to die for! Well worth a drive to if you are in the area

We visited the Indian Lounge with a friend who was stsying with us for a funeral. Had passed many times and wanted to visit for some time. When we arrived the resteraunt was busy but we were shiwed to our table and our drinks order wqs taken. My wife was particularly fond of her zero alcohol Cobra beer. Even though it was busy the staff were attentive and efficient. The food was pkentiful ans veey tasty. We were very happy and left a substantial tip to reflect this. Will be visiting again soon thank you x

Heard a great deal of good things about the Indian Lounge so decided to check it out for myself and was not disappointed! Great food, attentive staff and nice atmosphere made the whole experience a pleasurable one. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal, had to order takeaway with having 2 German shepherds . The chicken tikka was lovely and plenty of it , my husband had the chicken korma which was also lovely and plenty of it , popadoms were lovely and light and crispy only thing I did not like was the Nan bread and chicken pikora was not the same as Scotland

Enjoyed a lovely buffet on Sunday at the Indian lounge.quite a few dishes on the buffet that I hadn't tried before. Washed down with a couple of pints of dortmunder lager, very nice indeed. A return is imminent

We were staying in a holiday cottage nearby and looking for somewhere to eat and were attracted by the excellent reviews on here. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is very stylish with a great atmosphere and excellent service. An ample selection of dishes on the menu that tasted fresh and authentic. I am 6 months pregnant and was particularly impressed by the range of alcohol free ‘mocktails’ on the drinks menu and would recommend the alcohol free pina colada! The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the coffee machine was unfortunately broken on the night we went so we couldn’t finish our meal with a cappuccino as we’d hoped but this didn’t spoil the experience! We liked the complimentary Baileys shot at the end :) They also do take away which we had originally looked for online but they don’t have a website and there are only a couple of photos of the menu (as opposed to the whole thing) on their Facebook page. They are missing a trick there as we would have been happy to collect! Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Wow cannot tell you how good the food is from here! Absolutely delicious food and cracking Sunday buffet, the set meal is a must it is a brilliant deal money wise! Can get a little pricey but if your ordering a takeaway they usually throw in a bottle of wine which is a bonus! It is set in an idyllic location!

We had past this restaurant many times as we live locally and finally managed to go in May. Had a fabulous meal, really delicious food and good service. This restaurant is in the middle of nowhere but it is very popular and apparently gets busy at weekends. Will definitely be going back soon.

Once again the staff were very welcoming and the food was marvellous.I had a minted lamb curry which was exceptional and the peshwari naan breàd was perfect.

Generous portions, excellent service, pleasant ambiance, great choices. If it's authentic Indian cuisine you are looking for, Indian Lounge will not disappoint ! Well worth another visit.

The meals are huge, filling and MOUTH WATERING!! The food here is great and is just in the perfect location. I had a chicken tikka and it was the best I’ve ever had, please consider going here if you are in the area and love curry.

Having driven past the Indian Lounge on a number of occasions we decided to join some friends on Saturday evening. Reviews have been really good, so we were looking forward to the meal. We weren't disappointed, the food quality & presentation was amazing, quite the best Indian Meal I've had for a long time.

Easily the best Indian in the area and the service is second to none.A must visit if you love indian food.

Really nice food. Some staff indifferent. They need to pay more attention to your order. Under cooked Nan bread. Wrong sauce given. Cold in the restaurant. Hopefully this is a rare occurrence.

We've driven past this place loads of times but never been. One reason is my misses isn't too keen on Curry and it never really enters our head. Well it will do from now on ! We had the full monty excluded a sweet. Poppadum's, starter, main, naan bread washed down with Cobra beer. I've had a lot of Curry in my time and this is definitely up there but I need a second visit. Reason I say this is the dish I had I thought had too many tomatoes in and it could've done with a little more kick. Don't get me wrong it was very flavoursome and we both finished the lot. I think we may take the kids for the buffet they do for round two ....... ding ding

Last visited (and reviewed) July 2016 and thought that it was average because of the attitudinal staff who appeared disinterested...

We visited the Indian lounge on Sunday 8th January 2018 , I must say that 90% of the reviews were excellent, unfortunately for us this wasn’t what we experienced, it was disappointing to see only 3 starters for a choice and only 3 mains as a choice, and no dessert to choose from. I must say the staff were very pleasant and polite, but unfortunately we won’t be going again. All other Indian and Chinese buffets we have been to have a wide variety to choose from, the Indian Lounge didn’t which was a shame. I paid £10.95 for onion bahjies ( oops can’t spell , as I don’t eat the chicken masala or chicken korma or lamb

Me and my partner visited here for his birthday and had a lovely time. The restaurant is clean and modern and all the staff are friendly. We decided to order the non vegetarian set meal for two, which was excellent value for money. The food was cooked to perfection, the chicken was moist and full of flavour and the curries were not greasy like they have been in previous Indian restaurants we have visited and you could actually taste the spices. The naan was one of the best I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend a visit

Have visited for a sit down meal and called in for a take away and on both occasions the food was excellent and the service faultless. Not a big Indian eater but this establishment also caters for those with the weaker pallet! Mixed meat starters and a mild curry were first class, a take away a few weeks later saw a complimentary bottle of wine handed out on collection, a nice touch which goes a long way in this day and age!

Came here for a family occasion , lovely food and catered for my dietary requirements:) lovely friendly staff , lovely location and brilliant food would return :)

Went here for a recent friends birthday party. 11 of well looked after with no trouble and seemed to be enjoyed by all . I can defiantly talk for me and my girlfriend who loved and mains and staters .

Visited the indian lounge last sunday, booked a table as this is what we had been told by friends as sunday is buffet day and can get busy.

We live nearby but had never been to the Indian Lounge until last Saturday when we took a friend. The food was excellent, my King Prawn Rogan Josh was excellent four huge freshly cooked prawns and an excellent curry with abundant fresh tomato, the mixed starter for two we shared between three because we do not have large appetites, it was freshly made and very good. Although the restaurant was full and busy service was good, a slight delay before the main meal, but of no consequence. The bill for three was £65 and included three main courses, three half pints of lager, a mixed starter for two and poppadums, good value and a lovely evening.
