Fantastic meal and service every time. It was my friends 1st ever visit to an Indian restaurant and she was delighted with her meal and grateful to the waiter who helped her choose an entry level option. I can highly recommend the Indian Lantern

Terrible. Poor food. Poor service. Horrible toilets. Also there was a bottle of water on the table with no cost associated. Came to pay was charged £3.95 for it. Just terrible.

Having been greeted by a surly dictatorial front of house, I placed my order. Firstly I was told my takeaway would be 30 minutes. I asked to pay for everything hang also ordered a pint of beer whilst I waited. My instruction was, sit back and relax. I don’t need instruction on how to behave when ordering and waiting. Your fare was really not worth the wait. My rezalla was awful and so was the the tikka masala.

The food was good, just the price for what we had seemed quite expensive. Service has been good the two times we have been, worth a try!

We were in a large group split into three tables due to Covid but that didn't stop anything - the management, the service and the food were at top-notch. The staff were amiable all the way through. It was very busy but they dealt well between our eating-in orders and the takeaway orders. My OH and I ordered a starter and two mains to share: Meat Samosa (£3.50), Lamb Tikka Biryani (£8.95) and Cox Bazaar Balti (£10.95). The price is reasonable for the quality of the food. It was flavoursome and tasty without being thirsty afterwards. I definitely recommend this place. Don't be put off with its location. This is a hidden gem.

Whilst not the obvious location, the food here is great. Been 6 or 7 times and it is consistently good, well presented and reasonably good value. It can be difficult to find a good curry house in a sea of mediocre affairs but this one is really good for a relaxed meal.

Good quality food, tender meat, well sized portions and side plates. Consistently good flavour in all dishes tried, and attentive service.

This is a nice place. Good tastes great and is presented really well. Friendly staff can seem uninterested sometimes and it can take a while for food to come, but if you're up for a curry and not in a hurry, Indian Lantern is a good choice. Prices are okay, being what you'd expect to pay for a really nice curry. Food portions could be large, but here it's all about quality over quantity.

Mo and the team are brilliant, the service you get is truly lovely. Not a massive Indian food lover but I like to try different things, so I simply ask for their recommendation to go with the meat I fancy. Thanks Mo and team for a lovely meal.

Food was nice enough restaurant was OK just felt the staff were a little bit off with us, funny looks and clearly talking amongst themselves whist looking (not so discreetly) in our direction, made us feel uncomfortable. Maybe a takeaway if we go here again

I have been here a handful of times for sit in meals and food and service has always been lovely. My only personal negative would be that as a big vindaloo lover, it just doesn't taste the same from this place. Much more fragranted than other places. But looking at it in a positive light, at least I'm forced to try other things :)

Visited last week and enjoyed it so much had to return two days later for more. Best Chicken Tikka I have ever had and highly recommended. Staff were really friendly and polite.
