Indian kitchen in Rossendale

The food was so watery and tasteless so I can only presume something had been frozen. It was cold by the time we got it too as the website changed our address to the wrong address and I had to pick it up myself in the end. We left the majority and it went in the bin. Waste of 30 pounds

No flavour to the Chicken Tikka wrap and no proper salad. Just a tiny bit of soggy lettuce

***** Follow up review **** I know how important my reviews are to a business**** After eating here pretty much twice a week for the past three years (c312 times) I thought it was time to give my feedback again so I have.. The care attention that goes into my curry is second to none.The food is also spot on NEVER HAD A BAD CURRY. The staff are also super welcoming and very discrete when I vist them .. Please if you haven't tried them you are doing yourself out of wonderful experience life is to short to settle for second best Warmest regards N J Holt . 1 st below below April 2020.. The service was great , shame about the food. One of our party said his curry was tasteless,my disappointment was the starters. The samosa & onion Baji was absolutely tiny. Very tasteless, dry like chewing cardboard & I'd guess pre cooked out of a party pack from Iceland. Even if you put both samoas together they still wouldn't be the same size as one samosa from our usual Indian takeaway. Won't be eating from here again.

Best indian food takeaway in waterfoot on burnley rd east. Well established business very reasonable price and the food are nice and very tasty. Your food gets delivered at your own door step FREE with out any hasle on time.

Very very tiny pieces of chicken in the chicken tikka, was just a curry sauce really even the pilau rice tray wasn't full in it, poor quality the salad had wilted and the mint dipp was off, waterd down chutney absolutely nothing compared to the last owner... oh yeah even prices gone up aswell

Not sure what's happened but up until now never had a bad meal,the portion of prawn cocktail was poor and the chips where like warm ups sorry had to say.

Food.was good.but curry tonight was disappointing small slivers of chicken more.like a curry soup .not.like we usually get .from here maybe.cutting back on chicken to save .

So you like Indian food and your in the area This is the best you can get . Every dish from this small kitchen is superb . Yes Superb but the Garlic bread is ? . I have had garlic bread or other types bread in dozens countries and this little place as hit the the Top soft moist cooked to perfection .. Then the onion Baji if you like are pretty good so is the chicken chat . how many items can I recommend , The king Prawns amazing . The Tandoori mixed grill Ok this is getting boring yes superb . If you love Indian and take away or delivered please try it , The kitchen as highest hygiene standards is all on display no hidden nightmares and after a recommendation is my top delivery and quality .

Doesn’t look posh, don’t get served by a man in a tie but do not be put off first impressions. The food is beautiful and exceedingly tasty. Traditional but got some lovely authentic dishes. Especially the starters. The Ghoa and Riti starters we love. Not the cheapest but really is best in the valley and we have tried them all !

Delicious food , try the meal deal during the week You get poppadoms , chutney , starters , a retro main meal each , rice and nann bread all for under £14 00 . I get chicken bhuna , vindoloo hot , tastes amazing . Try the garlic nann bread , ask for fine chopped garlic and extra butter on .devine . Staff are wonderful, friendly and looks very clean . Would eat here every night it's that good !!!

I'm unsure if this has changed hands recently but i used to get food from these all the time. Sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. But i stopped when delivery went up to £3 on just eat when other takeaways which are further away charge less. Tried again this evening for the first time in a while - even with the £3 delivery. I hadn't received my food 2 hours after placing my order and when I phoned to chase, I was told it would be at least another 30 mins. Not good enough when I've got a hungry son wanting a treat on a Saturday night. Being busy isn't an excuse and 2 and a half hours (at least) isn't an acceptable time to wait for food to be delivered. If they'd phoned me when I placed the order to advise of a lengthy delay, I could have cancelled earlier and ordered from elsewhere. However, refund was issued without any problems, but no apology for the shocking service, no prior call to say it would be delayed. No attempt to rectify the issue. The indian kitchen were always previously polite on the phone, food was always early which makes me think it's changed hands because I experienced the complete opposite this evening. Won't be going back... shocking service!

ANOTHER incredible meal from Indian Kitchen in Waterfoot. Butter chicken (which is my absolute favourite) and I swopped my normal rice and naan for saag paneer for my low carb diet!! Kids love the indian wraps and the other half swears by the Shahee. Best takeaway in Rossendale! Highly recommended!!!!! 5*

Dont do lot take away as prefer sit down but ordered a range of food I am familiar with and hell wasnt disappointed its pretty good . Ordered large starter Chicken Tikka Puri if new to this it comes on a bread and and lightly covered spicy but not hot coating and it was heaven , No I am not advertising this place but sells norm portion under £3 and suggest try it . The tandoori mixed grill was great size tasted freshly cooked not warmed , saying that think was 4 chefs in Wow . So it was perfectly cooked moist and pretty good . Rice was fragrant and good quality Basmati , not fan of vegetable curry sauce so plumped for Samba sauce . You need read menu its pretty vast and from few times I have tried few things in past all superb and salad thrown in was choka fresh stuff . I 100% give it a go menu extensive so your bound to find your choice but pretty sure you wont go wrong and for size dishes and price great treat for family .

Food came cold..very sloppy food ..we had an upset stomache later and worse in the morning...we wont be going again sorry. Cost a lot more using just eat than their direct sight.

Had a Chicken Chappati roll and had asked for medium sauce & mint with salad. Just got pieces of bland tasteless chicken with no sauce whatsoever & completely unseasoned. Grateful that it was not at all greasy & well cooked but there was literally no flavour whatsoever. The Chappati was thick & more like a naan, tasty but not a Chappati. Pink water from the salad & the tikka colouring dripping out of it. I went a few years ago & it was lovely. Really gutted & will not be returning any time soon.

Had a meal from there for me and my wife last night. Neither one of us ate even half of it and both then enjoyed a night of being sick and sitting on the toilet. Would NEVER order from there again

Have had deliveries from this takeaway on numerous occasions and have never been let down. Food always arrives on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Can't recommend highly enough

Top notch curry. Best I've had in years. Love there phall and fish pakora are awesome .

Food had a lot of flavour even though we wanted it with out any spice( some family members can handle the heat) the lamb pieces were very large and some pieces weren't very tender. Which is why a 4 star from me But would order again.

Foods brilliant, that sums it up in one

Ordered the garlic masala and was way too hot/spicy to eat, asked for no veg yet it was filled with it barley any meat!!! The mixed tikka kebab would of been great if it wasn’t covered in salad after asking for non, leaving the shop to then have to bring it back just for them to pick it out with there bare hands!!! Will not be going there again!

Best Indian takeaway for miles...

The staff are very polite & the food here is lovely and they serve very traditional Indian food and you get to see them cook it in front of you. You get brilliant kids meals and the prices are extremely competitive. 5 Stars a real asset to the town.
