Great food and quality, service was good even though it was very busy. A tad spicier I'd say than I normally have (and I stick with the same dish each time 😉) but yip would recommend and will be back if in the area 🤗

First time here. Very friendly staff Nice looking restaurant 5 of us ate there and 1 was a vegan. Great choice and what we all ate everyone said was really good and reasonable priced. Would definitely go back.

Our second visit to the restaurant to sit in, this time on a quiet dreich Tuesday night. Of course, we opted for two Jalfrezis and sought a recommendation for a third curry for us (never can be too much curry) and were told that this ‘Bombay (something)’ not on the menu was excellent. Food was so tasty and flavourful, and the portions good, the waiter was very kind and interested in how we found everything. Will return in a heartbeat but that was never in doubt!

The food here is delicious!! We hadn’t been for ages but it’s still as good. The restaurant had a refurb since our last visit, nice and fresh. Staff are friendly and helpful. Huge menu so much choice. We went for my husband’s birthday so it was a treat to be out. Everything tasted amazing and the naan bread was ace!! Couldn’t eat it all so even took home what I had left. Won’t leave it so long before I go back.

Booked a table online but did not get confirmation. The day before the booking I popped in to make sure they had my booking and it took 3 staff before they could tell me it was fine. On the day of the visit we were given a table in the middle of the floor and next to us was a table littered with used wet wipes from Tesco which were never cleared away during our entire meal. There was a table of extremely loud guests who should have been asked to tone it down as you couldn’t hear yourself speak but staff didn’t bother. There were flies buzzing about which was off putting. Food was okay but service was poor. We asked the waitress for more wine and she said she couldn’t get it as she was underage - poor training, she should have said okay and got another member of staff to get it. Toilets were needing attention.

The food amazing as always also the starters amazing. We are aware of the situation going on about the employees and how the head chef has resigned from the postion. But this is not a major problem since the boss was the previous head chef and now he is filling in the roll. I know the service is up to par with the service given a couple of weeks ago but i do understand they are in a tough dilemma and they do apologise for any inconvenience and as a regular i do not mind and want to support them. Waiting a extra 10 to 20min is not a big deal since i know how good the food is and how nice the owner and other staff there so i dont mind. And as always the food was amazing.

my visit to Indian Garden was an experience that left an indelible mark on my culinary journey. Their Chicken Tikka Masala, in particular, exemplifies the pinnacle of gastronomic excellence. It is with unwavering enthusiasm and a discerning palate that I confer upon Indian Garden a well-deserved five-star rating.

Arrived at 19.30tonight. Told at 20.25 that our chosen shared starter was no longer available. Offered an alternative - and one meal each, not shared, presumably in recognition of the delay . No complaints about the quality of the starters. Another unacceptable delay followed. Main courses not served until 21.05 - at the point where we were considering leaving. The place was packed but that should not have affected the non-existent communications regarding the delays. The main courses were tasty but the meat content was inadequate. On paying for the meals there was no charge for the two starters and a gentleman who appeared to be the owner apologised for the delays, with fellow customers apparently part of the problem. A member of staff who gave us the bill stated that two staff members had failed to turn up. Neither reason/excuse was particularly professional and certainly of no interest to us as customers. Before tonight's experience, our intention had been to return on Friday evening. That won't be happening. Considering the other reviews on here, which were the reason we went in the first place, it was all very disappointing. Other customers, on leaving tonight, seemed to seemed to have enjoyed their meals judging by their departing comments. Perhaps we were just unlucky but that's no consolation. Poor stuff.

Food was quite tasty and well presented but the portions were meagre and rather expensive ie £5 for two poppadoms and pickles £6 for a thimble of rice! The worst part is the rather lackadaisical and unattentive service I think it took an hour or so to actually start eating and the place was empty so will swerve this establishment in future

Our takeaway was delicious and there was plenty left for lunch next day! We would highly recommend 👌

Usual place for Indian takeout. Would recommend the set meal with the onion Baji, chicken pakora, chicken amly, A medium dish, rice,chips and peshwari naan.

The Food is amazing and is really nice and tasty, The beer was good apart from Guiness which was served and was out of date by a year The service was a little bit slow as the manager I think did all the serving whilst the young workers were stood there doing nothing Took about 20 mins for drinks to come but they was lovely And food came at a relatively quick time For the most part I enjoyed it

Last night my husband and I really fancied a curry so on the recommendation of a family member we decided to visit the Indian Garden in Banff, Aberdeenshire. The restaurant is tucked away on a narrow side street and you would miss it if you didn’t know where to look. The interior was clean and looks quite contemporary. It was fairly busy but not at all noisy. I ordered the Lahori Balti Special and it really was special. There were large pieces of flavoursome lamb in a gorgeous sauce with just a hint of cinnamon. I absolutely loved every bite and it was so good I opened a button on my trousers and ate every last morsel. My husband had the Lamb Jalfrezi which he really enjoyed saying it was not but not overpoweringly so. Along with some mixed vegetable rice and a chapatti to share it was a lovely meal. Sasha our young waitress was new to the job but was managing well and she was very friendly.

Being from Leicester, no stranger to curry, it’s especially interesting when we find a restaurant with dishes I’ve not tried. Good portions, especially the chilli paneer. A lovely find off the main road relaxed atmosphere friendly staff.

A great little restaurant with some very interesting dishes. We are a family of 5, with three teenage sons and my parents who thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Food was delicious and beautifully presented and the staff very attentive. Would definitely recommend! A real hidden gem 😊

We ordered a Chefs special set meal for 2 people and were able to choose 2 starters, 2 main meals, 3 sundries and had a salad, a chutney set and 2 popadoms included for a takeaway. Food was well packed in a bag and tasted absolut lovely. We came all the way up from germany to Banff for a week and really injoyed this meal! Keep up the good work!

Got takeaway from here and it was lovely. I went for chicken Rogan Josh and Veg Rice. Very accomodating and informative about dairy free and egg free options too. Perfect, would highly recommend.

Clean, fresh environment. Top quality food. Friendly staff. Really tasty meal. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, pilau rice, Peshwary Nan Bread. My partner had the Chicken Madras, Pilau rice and Keema Nan Bread. We will definitely be back.

Didn't even get a chance to try it. Walked in, no customers waiting, pad and pen in his hand, asked if i wanted to order then instead of writing it down asked me to take a seat and proceeded to serve 3 other walk in customers and ignore me. Gave up and walked out. Either he decided I was a lower caste or maybe he is just glaikit. Coop burgers and chips it is. Shame, was really looking forward to trying a new takeaway after a long days' graft.

OK so my review is based on “total experience” because to be honest they totally let themselves down due to waiting time. If you are really busy, why not tell customers (for takeaway) that the wait will be long. But no, rather than that just leave us sitting for 1hour 10minutes , no joke. If it wasn’t for the fact we’d driven 10miles to get there I would have bailed after half an hour. But thinking “can’t be long now” just became a joke. No offer from manager of even a coke or something from the bar whilst we waited. But actually restaurant wasn’t even full (they were prioritising sitting diners) and only about half a dozen other takeaway went out in the time we sat. We had the meal deal for two so not like we’d asked for anything crazy. Was it worth the wait…not really. 4pcs of pakora was a bit mean. Mixed kebabs good. Mixed salad a cupful, and chutneys were tiny wee portions. Chicken curry was OK but lamb curry was tough as old boots. Won’t be back. Sorry.

We've ordered from here a few times and it has been consistently good food. For those of us who can't handle chilli, the mild dishes are actually mild but still with lots of flavour. Checked the place on a morning walk. Looked ok so decided to have dinner. Sheek kebab, onion bhajee starters. Chicken tikka, chicken Madras with pillau rice, garlic naan. Cobra and Cappuccino. Service friendly and efficient.

We have a business in Banff and stay regularly. Recently we ate here because most places close quite early and after a full day we really needed a wind down. We may have stumbled on this by accident but in future it will be our eatery of choice. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating and the food was just absolutely spot on. An excellent curry house, looking forward to our next trip.
