Absolutely stunning food. Best Indian food we have eaten anywhere. Chicken was so moist and flavours were fantastic. Service was brilliant got a lovely little hot towel after eating. Can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.

Had a fantastic meal on Wednesday 6th March while on short stay in Stirling I had a Ceylonese korma with rice and garlic naan absolutely delicious highly recommended .

Well I must text that so far this has been the best place for a truly THICK mango lassi & my plate 🍽️ was nice & hot 🔥 but my friend Janie's plate was cold - hence a point 👉 off. BUT our main courses came PIPING HOT 🔥🥵 SIZZLING AWAY - brilliant - will definately pop back in again. Back in again on on Tue. 13/2/24 for lunch at 12.30pm & i got my meal on a hot 🔥 plate & once again it came sizzling hot 🔥My spicy chicken dosa was quite filling & i've never had it before & it tasted great 👍 it consisted of SHREADED tender chicken🐥 My main course was chicken masander & tender chicken once again & as u can see piping 🔥 & there was no steam rising from the not so hot meal that my friend & i had in Sanam Falkirk, that has won a few food awards. My desert was a slice of melt in your mouth gateau + a dollop of ice cream. So there u have it - tasty hot food & a lovely tall glass of thick mango lassi. Back in again all the way from Grangemouth on 23/2/24 for lunch along with my 10% off lunch only discount card & enjoyed a lovely THICK lassie (which i tend to call a lassie by mistake) & with the arrival of a hot 🔥 plate 🍽️ i proceeded to pile on my SIZZLING chicken 🐥 masander & the spices in it tasted just great 👍 The restaurant was soon filling up, with some 5 folks being directed to a table & many others arriving - that's good to see. I phoned up for a table for two at 12.45 which was a good idea. So once again, give the India Cottage a try & judge for yourselves 👍 😁

Fantastic food and great service

Well that was food. Lunch menu for 11 quid was fine. ...and I think that's the interpretation of "fine dining" on the sign. Staff were mostly great and attentive. The 3 course lunch menu was OK for what it was and the curry had flavour but pay cheap, get cheap. The Naan was goos and not too heavy.

My wife and I have lunch there once a fortnight before shopping in the centre usually Saturday or Sunday. Was last in 23 Dec. The food is excellent and the staff are absolutely brill. Best service you will Experiance in hospitality. You will not be disappointed at the Indian cottage Stirling. My usual dish is south Indian garlic lamb or chicken. Great value for money and don't think you will get better value yet high standard of food anywhere else. Top marks to you all

Fantastic food and excellent service.

We had take away this evening from indain cottage for the first time. It really takes a lot for me to write a bad review. Food arrived really quick and was piping hot, that is where the good points end. I have eaten a few mediocre Indian take aways in my life but This food was verging on inedible. Incredibly bland, you'll find more flavour in a frozen microwave meal. The chicken all had a weird sour taste. I can see there is a lot of good reviews hence why I ordered so maybe tonight was an off night. But please, please taste your food, people would rather wait an extra 10 mins for you to ensure a tasty, flavourful meal than have it delivered in 20 mins and have to throw in the bin. Our Friday night dinner was ruined and this will now be a memorable meal for the fact it was the worst Indian meal we have ever had.

Went here for lunch, the have offers, and I took the £ 9.95, which was the cheapest of three they had. The food was very lovely and portion size perfect for lunch. The service was fast and polite. All in great value for money, and tasty.

We visit this restaurant regularly ,food is excellent so we return , staff are lovely very attentive and great value for money £10 -3 course lunch £16.99 for 3 course dinner.

First time we had lunched here. Staff were lovely and friendly. I felt the booth were too tight when seated down. Not much legs room. Too stuffy in the restaurant doesn't smells fresh. I had vegetables pakora, lamb korma and yellow boiled rice. Loved the vegetables pakora and the rice. Not sure about the lamb korma, are they supposed to be sweet? I felt a bit sicky after. My friend had mushrooms pakora and chapatti and bhuna lamb. She loved it. Don't think I want to come back in the future.

Visited for the first time for dinner with friends. Food was excellent and will definitely try for a takeaway sometime! Also very clearly identified menu items in terms of dietary restrictions, which was helpful as one friend could not eat gluten.

Have tried multiple different Indian restaurants in Stirling and this is by far the best. I’ve taken family and friends here for their first time and they’ve all been impressed and wanted to go again. Haha, Only downside is that it’s so good that I’ve stopped trying new places as often when I go out because I want to go here. Friendly place with great food, 100% best Indian in central Stirling. Just need to get better music

Food is bland 😢 service and prices are good.

To be fair it was a quiet Sunday night and the restaurant was empty. The atmosphere was a bit odd with mexican / Spanish music playing in the background. The food was fine. Nothing special and I'm genuinely surprised to learn it's the highest trip advisor rated Indian in Stirling. My Chicken Tikka Dansak was actually Chicken Tandoori Gravy with lentils and little spice or flavour. The onion rice was fine. Overall...it's ok but I'll try another Indian when I'm next in town. Surely there's better?

My meal was amazing. I had Chetnand chicken tikka but my wife got chicken rather than the lamb she ordered with her korma and didn’t like it at all. It was too bland for chicken but might have suited lamb. We said nothing and didn’t eat it. Shame really. I’ve had far better Peshawari naans and the onions are served in a sauce with poppadoms which doesn’t really work. Had better mango chutney. Lime pickle was great but in a container 4 times smaller than the onions and chutney. All in all I’d eat there again but my wife wouldn’t. If they send chicken again rather than the lamb I ordered I’ll swerve them and go elsewhere.

A standout among a number of Indian restaurants in Stirling. Great food and attentive but unobtrusive service. Great change from pub food, highly recommended.

I just visited Indian Cottage with my office colleagues. It was fantastic. The food was tasty and the service was great. You should definitely try the Honey Chicken and the Chicken Korma here!

Ordered a takeaway meal tonight turned up cold bhuna lamb was very sweet covered in brown sauce no tomatoes or oinons very bland nan braed was sliced into pieces? Never seen a nan like this before flat as a pancake more like a chapati curry wasn't nice either pakora bland no vegetables in it won't be back just a waste of money.theres cutting back but come on

Now the 4th best indian in Stirling for me. Cant fault the food, staff need to up their game a bit though, twice I had to ask for a refill...

Absolutely incredible service and food here, would highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and hard working, the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The portions are very filling and the food is prepared/cooked to the highest standard, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely meal , very attentive staff premises was clean. Getting parked wasn't the best so it might be worth giving yourself more time if you're traveling by car.

A great restaurant! The best thing about it has to be the abundance of the portions - 4 of the curries could easily fill 7 hungry stomachs! There's a large variety of dishes, each of which are tastier than the next. Starters and the complementary poppadoms were delicious, but a bit lacking in quantity (specifically the Paneer Tikka). Our waiter was very nice, and was happy to accommodate us with anything we were craving but wasn't on the menu! Very nice ambience, and comfortable seating. Another great thing about this Indian restaurant is that it's authentic, and so desi that it reminded me of home back in Bharat (India). It's rare to find these types of restaurants in Scotland! Would highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Indian taste!

This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurant in Sterling. I was craving for Indian food and Indian cottage was worth trying. The flavor and taste is so authentic, the goan fish curry is lip smacking and garlic chilli naan is amazing. The spice is just so right for both Indian and British taste buds. Definitely deserves 5/5 ⭐
