iNaga in Bromley

Have been using I-naga for years and has always been lovely food. Unfortunately in the past six months think the service has gone downhill for a number of reasons. My first gripe is the lack of zero alcohol beer. My partner gave up alcohol last year. The two of us visited and when we were asked what drinks we wanted, my partner asked what zero beers they had, the waiter went to the bar and after 5 mins or so another waiter came along and asked the same, the same thing happened and another waiter walked past and asked the same question. It took 20 mins or more with about 4 different members of staff asking us what we wanted. Eventually he got a zero Corona. Clearly a waiter ran down to the Co-op for these. I visited again on a separate ocassion with my mum and sister and did tell the waiter that I wasnt happy with what happened previously. He apologised and said next time I visited with my partner to let them know beforehand. So we visited again and when booking said please could they have some zero lagers. There was only one zero beer when we went there, which I found very annoying after calling before we went, this makes it very embarrassing when we are sitting there for so long without a drink whilst someone goes to the shops to buy some. Im sure this doesnt happen to people.who drink alcohol and doubt they run out of bottles of Cobra. Have visited quite a few restaurants and this one seems to be thr only one where we have had an issue. I understand they dont have the space to store all this but I did precall as asked to but still no joy!! I tried ordering a takeaway last Saturday and called around 18.30. I asked for two starters the waiter started talking to a colleague in the background, eventually he apologised he passed me to another colleague who also started talking to his colleague in the background. When he came back to me I said not to bother and he then apologised and said.I can take your order, I said really dont bother, was really disappointed at this but clearly were not bothered about taking my order. They were always a very good restaurant but feel thr service has gone rapidly downhill.

Simply superb. Their menu choice is excellent, nothing is ever a problem for them, they always deliver on time or earlier and the food quality is unmatched locally.

I booked a table for 4, especially for Mother’s Day a week before the actual booking. Turning up to I-naga expecting a nice seated meal I was greeted with stares, then surprisingly after waiting in a tight space to be met by a staff member, for him to say our booking doesn’t exist and there’s nothing he can do. Although I had a confirmation of said booking it wasn’t good enough? They simply couldn’t handle the pressure, they clearly over book and then can not cater for the booking. Horrible hospitality I’m glad I didn’t give yourselves my money and I sure won’t be coming back.

Amazing food with very friendly owners. Great atmosphere. Had a great chicken tikka, saag paneer and egg rice. Recommended.

I had yet another birthday celebration at Inaga, and as always what a wonderful experience! We eat here regularly anyway and are always satisfied. The atmosphere is always brilliant, service outstanding and the food is the best Indian 🇮🇳 food around by far, been coming here for over ten years and had some incredible meals & fun times. Thank you to all the staff at I Naga for your continued consistent service & amazing food. We always feel so welcome & happy to be here. Abdul the owner always makes a conscious effort to ask if we are ok, and enjoying our evening. Highly recommend to all types of people, it’s an excellent restaurant and one of our favourite places to come!

I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. They are amazing. Food is gorgeous, service is 100%!! We travel 30 mins especially to come to this particular restaurant. So friendly and welcoming and they never rush you with your meal. Everything every time we have been has always been spot on!! I will keep returning again and again. Thank you.

Now my go to Curry House every dish is different not your run of the mill generic curry like most of the Indian restaurants in West Wickham , please try I Naga you will not be disappointed .

I booked a table for2 on line 5 days before and received confirmation We walked in on time and there was no table available And not welcomed by the staff rushed off their feet. Last year we waited 30 mn for our reserved table However we drove to Samorgam in West Wickham and had a nice ( buffet ) dinner

I have to say this was the best curry I have ever eaten (this is not something I say lightly). I eat out a lot and been to many different Indian restaurants, this place is something special. The food is simply spot on. Could not fault anything. All fresh and delicious. Meat so tender, flavours bursting. Raj served us and what a true gentleman he is. Such a lovely character. All the staff are very welcoming. The place looks very smart and smelt amazing in there. Spot on guys 👏🏻 Thank you.

We was recommended to come to this restaurant. Honestly we haven’t had such lovely Indian food in a long time. Our local restaurants in Biggin Hill/Westerham did not compare. The food, service & prices were amazing. We are so glad we have found this restaurant. What a great Sunday lunch.

One of the best Indian restaurants i've eaten at, and One I enjoy going back to time and again, parking can be a pain but it is a popular place. The food is of exceptional quality and full of flavour, with chef special dishes you don't find elsewhere. Friendly staff, warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything you could want from a restaurant. Don't take my word, go try it, you won't be disappointed

Was surprised to see the restaurant was full on a Monday night but after my meal I could understand why. Excellent meal, service and value. Am looking forward to my next visit

We have just left this amazing restaurant the food was excellent and the staff really good we had 2 young grandchildren with us which could have made things difficult but the staff were so good with them thank you for making my husband's 83rd Birthday special Coral.

Wonderful night at Inaga for my brother Dave's 60th. Staff couldn't do enough and provided a fabulous cake . Food was delicious as always .. thanks Inaga. X

The food was lovely the staff was really nice. The rice don't look like a big portion but it's quite filling the portions are more than enough.

We ordered food at 7.30pm on Friday 20th October with an expected delivery time of 50 minutes. The food arrived after 90 minutes, was incorrect and was cold. I phoned but got a voicemail. I left a message requesting a call back but have had no call back. Unlikely to order again from there. The food that did arrive was good though.

WOW...what can i say. Just came back from having probably the best curry ever. The naga tikka starter was amazing. The food and the service is unbeatable. So friendly and welcoming. We will most definately be returning. Thank you so much for the most enjoyable meal. I highly reccomend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Easily the best Go-To Indian restaurant in the Bromley Borough whether it be for a take way, quick midweek meal or celebration meals. Big portions, tasty food that is never oily, friendly staff and always a good atmosphere. The owner will always show his face and say hello which doesn't happen with many places these days. Try their I-Naga pickle, Always, goes down well with a couple of pints and some popadoms.

Amazing food and service, favourite place to go in the area!

Five for dinner, turned up without a reservation. This was no problem, settled us in comfortably. Nothing was too difficult for them to do for us. Friendly waiters, pleasant banter. When they discovered that ours was a birthday celebration, instantly birthday‘sprinkles’ were on the table. After an amazing meal, without us asking, a cake with candles appeared and a chorus of the birthday song ensued. Then, we’re all asked if we would like an extra tipple! Very nice thank you! **Not one of the extras we’re added to our bill** Thank you to all the staff at I Naga for an excellent meal and your company.

Absolutely loved it my meal was absolutely amazing, the staff were fantastic price was really good will be back real soon give it a try you will be amazed.

Firstly, the service was incredible and staff were very accommodating. We ordered a delivery for the Tuesday 4 course meal and we were pleasantly shocked at just how generous they were with portions and extras! The mixed platter starter was lovely, we also really appreciated the complimentary popadoms, sauces, onion bhajis and samosas. The lamb tikka curry was lovely, however the murgh masala and jalapeño lamb madras was far too oily and not flavoursome enough. The chips weren’t great and the saag paneer tasted like korma. The naan bread was lovely though. In general, we had a good experience but would like to try out different curries next time! Thank you :)

Mum loves this place, she does not eat meat. They also provided a birthday cake for us. We went on a Wednesday and got 3 courses for £15 well worth it we also left with doggy bags!

Ordered a delivery, was inedible. Rang the restaurant and they assured me that everything was fresh (it was not) the chicken(you know with chicken), I asked for them to come back and collect, which they did, still no refund, no apology and a really poor attitude from all staff I spoke too, AVOID, AVOID, is my advice

Had our anniversary meal here tonight. The food is beautifully cooked and each dish is lovely. We really enjoyed it and it has become our favourite local restaurant. Staff and service are top.

Simplest way to describe everything is…... Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Price, quality, and service taken into account….. There is no other restaurant even close. Exceptional food, very reasonable and everyone agrees every time, constantly very high standards. 👌🏼👍 The downside is that you won’t be happy with any other curry houses afterwards! 😂😂

I had heard really good reviews of this restaurant so tried it out with a takeaway. Really really average to poor. Tarka daal had been pureed and didnt resemble lentils. Also had zero flavour. Lamb biryani was dry and flavourless. Papadoms were decent though! It was just disappointing overall and with plenty of other options nearby I won’t be going back

We were looking for some nice Indian place in Bromley to have a dinner (12 May 2023). Checked reviews of this place and thought that’s the one. Huge disappointment. Chicken tikka masala totally didn’t taste like one, flavor was bland, spice mix wasn’t right either; same issue we had with Deluxe Tandoori mix, flavor was off, and ribs almost had no meat on it, just fat, little kebab tasted nothing like meat either. Aloo paratha (stuffed paratha) for some reason had big chunks of carrots in it, bland flavor once again. Keema naan was just a flat bread with some thin paste inside, supposedly meat but I can’t say for sure, nothing like it should be. Rice was supposed to be saffron one but I can’t say it looked or tasted like one. Overall we were hungry looking forward some nice Indian food but it wasn’t the best experience we’ve had. Certainly never going back there. P.S. service was another issue. For some reason you could see uncalled attitude which surprised us a lot. As an addition they were taking sweet time to take the order, few times missed to bring utensils and plates accordingly for starters. I don’t like leaving reviews like that but don’t want anyone experience the same thing we did.

Have eaten in and had takeaway from i-naga and never disappointed. The food is delicious and good quality ingredients. Service is always good. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Our Indian restaurant of choice. We dined here again tonight and as normal the staff and Abdul never let us down. Food was amazing as usual and the service was fantastic and friendly as always. Love this place, it's great. I tried the new Naga chicken tikka.... It was something else, I highly recommend this dish, if you like a bit of spice. Thanks guys 10/10 as always.

We ordered last week and travelled 20 mins to order here because of the reviews. Unfortunately we found 2 of the 4 dishes to have a very weird gone off smell and when we tasted it the daal it gave an even worse after taste. This has not been something we have ever experienced before when ordering a curry and we called the restaurant up to complain about the food and they apologies and said they would provide a refund for the 2 dishes. We are yet to see any refunds back in our account despite the restaurant telling us they would do so which is a shame because I wouldn't have written this review if they had done so by now. Will not be going back.

Ordered a variety of mains and sides between a pair of us, all dishes tasted amazing and presented well. Had an issue with a Naan bread and was replaced immediately by the staff and removed from the bill. Along with complimentary drinks as way of apology. Cannot fault the customer service

We ordered on Friday night and were advised that the waiting time would be longer than usual as it was very busy. Good to know this, it’s always best to be realistic. Our food arrived within the expected time. What a delicious feast it was, every dish was piping hot despite the cold weather outside, and so tasty. I would particularly recommend the paneer shaslik, a really delicious vegetarian main with tandoori cheese, onions and peppers. My husband had a very tasty chicken korai. Absolutely love iNaga, they deliver everything and more every time.

We have visited the restaurant on 2 occasions on a Saturday and Sunday. Food was really good but took a while to place an order and get the food to our table. On both occasions the atmosphere was unpleasant as the restaurant was extremely noisy. We almost walked out on our 2nd visit as it felt we were on Selhurst Park on a match day. Most staff were also ignoring any request to take our order or add additional items as they were focusing more on larger tables regardless on whether or not we were seated first. Excellent food but I am never visiting the place again and will just continue ordering for delivery. Restroom facilities were also filthy.

Very reasonably priced. Food was very tasty and the customer service was excellent. We tired this place for a first time on Valentine’s Day and will be going back.

Had chicken curry,chicken korma ,and vindaloo chicken and mushroom rices and a bombay aloo.yhe chicken dishes lacking chicken in all 3 dishes.thw vindaloo poor and no way was it vindaloo the plain chicken curry stronger!also bombay aloo was tasteless with very small amount of spinach.also vindaloo had more lumps of potatoes than chicken.sorry for being blunt but only being honest

Usually order from this curry house however this time ended up with item missing and an other in its place and 5 nan breads instead of 3. The vegetable curry that came with the unordered bhiriani was mostly onion. Will not order from this place again

Amazing place. The food is incredible, served by a very professional, friendly team that really know their stuff. It's a really elegant space too - perfect for parties or special occasions, though equally suitable for a midweek meal or weekend treat. The food is exceptional. I've been coming here for many, many years - (even throughout Covid at least on a weekly basis) and have never once had something that wasn't delicious, a generously sized portion and that wasn't served with a smile. The customer service is everything you could hope for and more. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that your visit is the very best that it can be. They do so much for local charities and also have won so many well-deserved awards (if you go in, do go have a look at the wall of awards they have - very impressive) and it's easy to see why. I've eaten at many Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants in the past, all the way up to Michelin star quality and can honestly say that I-Naga is by far my favourite. They can and do get busy at times - again, understandably as it is so popular, but the staff do as much as they can to alleviate any waiting times. (This really isn't one of those places where the staff just stand around hiding from one another) I see this as a sign that my choice of restaurant was correct and sadly others made the same choice at the same time. I-Naga has been my favourite Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant for many years and I cannot see that changing at all. The quality of food, the friendliness of service and the overall sense of pride in what they do is very easy to see and something you don't get to see elsewhere. If you haven't been before, get ready for a new favourite place to go. If you have been before, you'll already know the above.

We had a couple of friends coming round on a Friday night and wanted to order some Indian food. A quick Google search came up with these amazing people. We ordered a couple of super hot Jalfrezi's, an amazing I-shashlick, 3 Biryani's that were perfectly balanced and a few vegetable side dishes. Easy Website order & payment. Turned up quickly, nice delivery guy. Delicious Curry and very happy friends.

We eventually had a lovely meal, the food was excellent and as we were celebrating a special birthday when we arrived the restaurant had gone to a lot of trouble decorating the table and provided us with a birthday cake which was a lovely touch. We had been warned that the service might be slow as we had booked a table for 7.00 pm on Saturday night and it really was very slow not just for food but for drinks too. The restaurant was busy but the time taken was very annoying. It was a suprise that the waiter taking our order managed to get it right as he was completely distracted by everyone around us and when the food finally arrived at the table, having waited nearly an hour between starter and main the waiters appeared to became irritated with us as they were trying to deliver the food to the table in a rush shouting the name of the dishes at us. Overall despite this the effort they had gone to for the birthday meant that the evening was not spoilt but they really do need to improve on their service times and customer service at the tables.

The Naga chicken is SO GOOD. First time having it and i cant stop thinking about how tasty it was. Overall a nice indian takeaway. Just wish they had drinks to order online and the egg rice was a little bland.

First time here. Excellent food and service. Very busy Friday night and place full. Only negative issue is that there's no sound treatment and it was extremely noisy and conversation was very difficult. Suggest it would greatly benefit from acoustic ceiling and maybe wall treatment.

Probably the best vindaloo around. Hot but with a beautiful after taste. Lamb and potatoes were amazing

Food is very good but drinks prices are ASTRONOMICAL!! even soft drinks. So a (cheap) meal can turn into an expensive one if you order soft drinks. Which is a shame because the food was very good.

although the food tasted OK prdhspa a little spicy it gave my wife and myself upset stomachs that evening and the next day

I’ve been going to the restaurant for years, but after several deliveries, they always keep missing bits of my order, and also the standard has significantly dropped then when I phoned up to say that you’ve missed this, I get moaned at. And the portion sizes of radically been reduced. I’m afraid after several attempts, you’ve now lost a customer.

In the first instance I had to read my card number over the phone to the waiter seven times because he kept transposing the numbers & telling me that the card had been declined! When the meal arrived...the puri was stone cold & the prawns & sauce were completely tasteless! Also the shami kebab in the inaga starter selection had either had a bite taken off of one end, or it had been cut off! 😯 I’ve had many Indian meals in my lifetime, & this was by far the worst! 😡 I definitely won’t be returning!!! 😡

Best naan I’ve ever had! Prawn curry was delicious, and fast service.

Lovely food and friendly service. The only issue I had was that being seated near the front door meant that noisy customers collecting their takeaway orders were coming in and out. If you go here I would recommend being seated nearer the back.

Visited here last night for the first time with my partner. We have been looking for a good curry house since our regular closed down in the last year and have been searching for a while. Wow wow wow , we have now found our new regular . Food was perfect , ambience, and service excellent, we will be definitely coming here again , well done.

Have eaten at this restaurant for many years and order the odd takeaway. Food and service always great. Last Thursday I had a Chicken Dhansak, one of my faves, that was just exquisite, best I've ever eaten. Abdul and his team once again raising the bar of Indian cuisine 👍
