We had a large family wedding in the local area. With some guests staying in various hotels. On the Saturday evening we organised with Edy a set menu in the restaurant for 30 guests. And they were so looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, they were all talking about it on the Sunday. Thank you very much Edy and Imge for looking after them. We will certainly recommend you and visit ourselves to your restaurant

After being recommended this restaurant by so many people we were extremely disappointed with the food, and the value for money. This is the first time me and my partner have ever walked out without paying. The lamb kofte wasn’t cooked properly. It was £18 and it looked like a starter. I will attach the photo below.

Excellent and very good value food. We arrived without a reservation and getting a table wasn't a problem as it was reasonably early. Good job really because we didn't have much time as we had to be somewhere else. It was delight to come across this restaurant. Service was very good. Attentive without being over bearing. Good range of dishes on the menu including an excellent vegetarian range. Nice touches such as a small plate of fresh veg and olives with bread before you order that are complimentary as it is in Turkiye. Although we don't live in the area it will be worth returning for the food here.

I have been to IMGE before. On Saturday, we made a reservation for 4 on that evening and received a prompt email to confirm. On arrival, the restaurant was obviously very busy, but the staff seemed completely in control. The open grill smelled delicious. We were seated quickly and offered drinks/nibbles. Our friends arrived a few minutes later. Mezes, starters & mains were all very good and served in good time. The staff were all friendly & efficient without being over attentive. If you like Turkish & Mediterranean food, I can highly recommend.

Rude staff who need proper training, can't even pour wine without spilling it and not even accepting responsibility. Very expensive and even then they just want more by trying to bring food we did not even order and was even rude about it when i told them. humous not good and a rip off.

Nice restaurant, great food, good service but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE… even though it’s lovely it’s not value for money nowadays.

We eat out a few times a week but it’s always a treat to visit Imge. The food is cooked to order in the open kitchen and is always beautifully presented and the tastes are fantastic. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and always have a smile for everyone. We travel 30 miles each way to visit Imge and will continue to do so.

Amazing, authentic Turkish Cuisine. Fantastic service. The choices on the menu and the manner in which they were served were impeccable, we shall definitely return !!

I took my Book Club to Imge for our annual meal. There were 12 of us and I was very impressed. We pre booked and the table was set out ready when we arrived. Service efficient and good. Food excellent and a good choice. The cocktails were sublime.

We have visited previously and the food was great today it was very different. The food was very bland I dont think they used anything from the Turkish spice palette. Wont be going again

We ate here this evening as a party of three but all left feeling a bit disappointed. I’m not really sure what the fuss is about with this one, sadly. Decor average/poor, food and drinks are just average, service good (friendly and attentive) but it’s an altogether expensive experience for what you get. Tiny 150ml glasses of ‘coke’ (the on tap stuff) priced at £2.50, kebabs served dry with no hummus or anything else to help it down. The meat was good but the plate very flavourless and lacking any real flair. All desserts are shop bought and served - where applicable - with cheap catering quality ice cream. Another reviewer (I note several review only this restaurant - sometimes more than once - which is suspicious) describes it as “to die for” which leaves me thinking he must never have had it elsewhere or just be lying. We ate a relatively small meal for 3 comprising one starter, three main courses, one side, three desserts, two soft drinks and one beer and the bill came to just shy of £70. I wouldn’t come back.

I had a lovely meal,spoiled by being served with wine I did not order.. I was not asked if I would accept a substitute.. and my bill was reduced by £2.80 wow .. probably will not visit again..

Another great visit there tonight for my birthday. They made a fuss of me and the food was beautiful as always, our favourite place :)

When you dine here, IMGE presents to you a varied menu, a long list of drinks, low prices, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff. The staff are very helpful in asking you, as often as they can, how the meal is, whether or not you'd like more - without rushing you out the door. Try the lamb shish after you arrive at IMGE - it's great!

Friendly staff, excellent wine, good selection of food, and good location for Coalville. Would definitely return for a meal.

An amazing dinner tonight with amazing company the choice of menu was outstanding and the service was just as good. The mixed platter for 2 was out of the world leaving all kinds of flavours and the mixed kebab was a meat heaven. One member of the party had succulent prawns which left all kinds of tastes in the mouth. Pipping hot food good beer would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, restaurant spotlessly clean. Covid-19 rules followed, with notices on the entrance doors to inform guests re masks etc. Greeted warmly. Efficient service by friendly staff, all wearing the necessary PPE. We did not have to wait long for anything but did not feel rushed. Food absolutely amazing, warm bread (replenished regularly), spicy tomato dip, crudités bought to the table almost immediately. Starter platter with lots of variety. Very tasty. Variety of main courses ordered. Generous portions, amazing flavours. Generous slice of Chocolate cake with a candle bought out for the birthday girl, lots of singing! She loved that. We all had various desserts, my crime brûlée was amazing. This was my first experience of Turkish dining. It won’t be my last.

Unfortunately both ordered fish cake starters and were from frozen covered in a horrible lemon sauce it looked really off putting! I have peppered steak, it turned up with 12 what looked to be McCain frozen chips 2 frozen onion rings and the bed of vegs my meat sat on was again frozen and had been cooked so much they were mulche my steak was not medium well over and really poor cut of meat quite tasteless and bit chewy....my mother had the chicken soute and the chicken althou was moist was so bland the sauce had no flavor...gutted as had some good meals here over the years but I will not be returning...if you do go I hope you have better luck.

Great food cooked well. Every thing you have here is so fresh and presented . The chicken kebab is excellent and the salads are just so fresh and always a good size portion. The staff are very friendly and helpful .

Food and service is amazing every single time we go, always fresh and always perfect plus they serve Efes. Price is good too for what you get.

Just had a takeaway from here and was blown away ! So much so I had to phone to tell them. Was a bit expensive but proved that you get what you pay for !! We had the Mixed Chargrill Feast. Just fantastic. Will be ordering again soon.

Visited IMGE on Valentines Day for a takeaway and after reading positive reviews I thought I would treat ourselves on this special occasion. The restaurant was fairly busy so enjoyed a pint whilst waiting for the twenty or so minutes whilst my SILVER PLATTER Feast FOR TWO was prepared in full view of the other diners. Upon completion, I gratefully received the food and travelled home.We were both excited to try the food but unfortunately upon opening we discovered that the contents bared no resemblance to the image on the MENU, befitted the description of FEAST and certainly didn't justify the £25.00 price.I contacted IMGE regarding this unfortunate event to ascertain whether or not I'd been given the wrong order but received no response.Whilst the food we did receive was hot and tasty the lack of it overshadowed our evening.

Amazing food served beautifully with great staff and set within a lovely restaurant. Extremely well priced meals that were delicious. Highly recommend trying this restaurant and its probably worth booking, certainly on a Friday as it does get busy!

Have visited restaurant several times in the past and food and service has always been good. Had a spur of the moment takeaway this week and as before it was delicious. Lamb shish, chicken shish and king prawn starters.

We went as a group of Six new years eve, the food was brilliant, the boss and staff were attentive and the atmosphere was spot on! I will certainly be spending another new years eve here!!!

I and my better half visit this establishment fortnightly, and have been for about 5 years. We would not if it was not worth it. We have never been disappointed with the staff, service, and food. A group of us ( a dozen or so ) go to the occasional Belly Dancing night and have a great time. Our ages vary from 30 to 80 plus. Noisy night but fun.The food arrives pretty well all together for everyone.

We went to Imge after leaving the restaurant we had originally booked due to a rude welcome, At Imge we were greeted with a polite and friendly welcome, The atmosphere was relaxed, the waitress was attentive and the food was fantastic. We had a lovely evening and we will definitely book again.

visited for my daughters birthday. the food was so tasty and dessert Baklava was to die for. Staff very friendly and attentive. will be returning very soon.

Visited on Sunday evening, quiet but pleasant, the waitress and waiter very friendly and helpful. I had the meze, it was delicious, plenty of food and really tasty and well cooked, puds were great too, would definitely recommend and hopefully will return at some point

Been before - the food this time was average - hence the 3 stars - but if I was rating service, probably 2 star - young man who served us was surly and dismissive, ruined our evening - needs to learn to listen, smile and look like he enjoys his role

I wouldn't say that there is anything extraordinarily exceptional about this restaurant but then again it doesn't set itself out to be anything other than a good local, restaurant. Food is good and tasty, well-presented, nice quality, reasonably price - I was not disappointed. My only criticism is that it was a bit noisy as a lot of the tables were for large groups and the waiting staff didn't seem particularly knowledgeable and were not overly attentive. Would return but am not in a rush to do so.

A large group of 30+ plus people for a 50th celebration. Food was freshly made in front of us, hot on arrival, very well presented and very tasty. Staff are always excellent and the value for money is great! Look forward to returning again soon.

Dishes are always so tasty, I ended up having the sea bass this time and it was delicious. Service is good too. Is always busy which is a reflection of how good the food is I think.

Last night I experienced the most wonderful accommodating service at Imge.

Went here tonight Saturday 16th February with two friends the fact that it was packed made us think it must be good not to mention we checked the reviews . The staff were very obliging and all of us thoroughly enjoyed all of the food served to us from prawn starters to lamb chicken swordfish mains unfortunately we were all to full to manage a desert can’t wait to go again

We took our friends to IMGE. We had told them how impressed we were on previous visits with not only the quality of the food, but also the wide choice and great service. They were really happy with our evening out... the staff are so friendly and it was nothing short of another superb night out. Brilliant... we look forward to our next visit !!!

A visit with friends resulted in an enjoyable night out. Attentive service although staters were a bit slow in coming. Mains were good and hot. I chose the Lamb Moussaka which was very tasty. I skipped desert but with wine, good value at £26 per head.

Great as usual. My brother's birthday lunch and he travels from Stafford to visit - he likes it that much! Mixed grill so good. Caters well for kids too - 3 of them found plenty to eat. Very good value for money too.

Was suggested to visit but the photos online weren’t appealing. However I did go and will again ! Staff is brilliant, food is super tasty. Very pleased with such a good meal. Glad it’s local so I can go again

Our third visit here. This place is always busy (a good sign) and the atmosphere was lively and friendly. The food and service was as always excellent and the service prompt and with a smile. You may find cheaper places to eat in Coalville but for quality of food,atmosphere and friendly professional service Imge is bad to beat.

Had four sultan feast, two mixed started then two special prawn, mixed kebab and chicken some, fantastic meal £150 including loads of drink and two bottles of wine. Prawns were fantastic!

Been going here since they first opened,tonight was not great at all, too many waitresses standing talking when should be waitng tables,i should not have to ask for dessert menus,Manager was not really obliging when told things not up too scratch.

Went out for date night, laid back dining - staff were lovely, attentive and accommodating all evening. Food was fantastic, we had the chefs special - a mix of hot and cold starters followed by a rice and mixed meat sharing dish - perfect for an evening for two, just make sure you arrive hungry as you won’t be disappointed!

I have been meaning to eat at this restaurant for many years. I have heard they are very popular locally and thankfully finally got round to going for a meal earlier this year.

Second time we have been here. We where celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary. Young lady serving us was polite, friendly, and helpful. The food was very nice and came in good time. My only chritisism was that the wine choices could be a little better. But that’s nitpicking. We live in Whitiwick and it’s great to have somewhere like this within walking distance.

Popped in here as local to hotel and glad I did. Went for the midweek menu and it was spot on. Value good Great service with friendly staff.

Food was excellent, staff very on hand even though very busy, cater for all types if requested , I don’t like lamb but the fish dishes are superb, if you fancy a dish but without the listed meat or fish they will change it. Dessert is wow

We and another couple visited the Imge restaurant last night, our regular choice of place to eat. We had another lovely meal here, the food is always freshly made in the kitchen in front of you and is always piping hot but great value for money.

Taken here by a couple of work colleagues / friends when the pub we were in did not do food. Advice was brilliant because the food was excellent, the service very attentive and the prices good. I had the chicken and lamb kofta which came with boiled rice and vegetables, followed by baclava and cream. The Turkish beer was good as well

This Turkish restaurant is a firm favourite with my brother, so we decided to eat there to celebrate his birthday.

Small menu, could do with better desserts and more options in general but great place and friendly staff. Food is very good. Well worth a visit.

Husband and I had lunch here and loved the food. Absolutely delicious. Staff were helpful, food arrived promptly and nice and hot. Not too badly priced as well. Looking forward to going back again.

If you like meat dishes then this is the place for you.l can recommend the mixed kebabs cooked on an authentic charcoal grill to order.its a nice atmosphere in the restaurant but you can get a takeaway also.

After several visits here we had a great evening to celebrate a family birthday. There were a few members of the party who's tastes could be described as "particular." Everyone enjoyed every course and the whole welcome, service and party atmosphere. The restaurant was busy but comfortable and friendly. We had a great time and will go again.

I have been here a few times and the food has always been good. It has a good menu and as I am vegetarian i did find something that i could eat. The drinks are not expensive and the service is always good.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years and always had great food. We went last week and the place was freezing cold, I know it was a cold evening but I was frozen. Two people were arguing and the lady was swearing. The food was not up to the usual standard. I hope this is not going to be another place that is going down the pan. It seems eventually everywhere you go out to eat ends up like this. Not up to your usual standard and the place was so cold.

We had my niece's 21st meal here. Delicious food, loved the goat cheese starter and the mixed kebab was excellent. We were so surprised when a cake was bought to the table with everyone singing happy birthday, the restaurant had gone to the trouble of providing a cake for us at no extra cost. Imge was a recommendation from friends who live in the area. The food quality was excellent and the service was very good and attentive, without being in your face. The restaurant was busy but thee food didn’t take long to arrive either.

I have been to Imge several times and every time we have had a nice meal. But this time the...

We were a party of 17 in a separate area of the restaurant. Everyone pre-booked their menu choices. The food was excellent. Indoor barbecue, what can be wrong? Surprisingly there was a good range of vegetarian food also. Macit (proprietor) put on extra staff and the service was superb. We had a great evening.

My husband and I have eaten here a number of times and we’ve never been disappointed. Tonight was no exception save for the fact that the restaurant was full and it was the usual 2 guys waiting on tables. They worked extremely hard and the service was excellent - matched only by the quality of the food. I can be a really tough critic but these guys and all of the staff never fail to please. It’s a difficult economy and these folk really do deserve to be massively successful. Thank you again.

The first time I have been to the restaurant. We were greeted by a polite host. He was very professional and handed us some menus. The menu isn’t huge but sufficient. The meals are quite expensive for what they are. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive. There were only a few other tables in there. The light above us kept flickering and was surprised no one else could see it; by the end of the meal it had blown completely. The food was good, wish the chips were homemade. No complaints really. I wouldn’t rush back, it was quite an average experience, and it was cold because people kept going outside for fags and a huge draft come through. Overall food good and staff professional.

Visited Imge for a night out with friends and had a wonderful time. Food was lovely, service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly. We went on a night when they had a belly dancer performing and the atmosphere was brilliant. Definitely worth a visit.

We went from work and everyone ordered different things and I have to say no one was disappointed! I had the vegetarian moussaka which was great!! Would definitely reccomend and go there again :-)

It was a Monday, so not massively busy, but they had a group in that had obviously been before and a couple of whom i could here complimenting each dish as it came out and again when they had the opportunity to taste it... the male of the couple was really liking it actually, you could tell from the noise he was making as he was eating it !! hahaThe service was perfect, they brought out nice complimentary bread, olives and olives. I had the calamari and then the mixed grill and it was spot on. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

My family of 10 took me there for my birthday. The food was excellent, the service was 1st class. We have been several times and never been disappointed. Can't wait for our next visit.

For saying I have lived in Coalville my entire life I have never eaten here before, but after finally dining here it most certainly won't be the last!Came here with a large group of friends and was welcomed by heartwarming staff and amazing nibbles such as bread olives and carrot sticks. The food itself was very good, incredably fresh and packed full of flavour!Although it wasn't gut busting portions it was incredibly filling and struggled to finish! Very clean and well presented inside, plus you really couldn't ask for better staff extremely friendly and polite!! Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Imge is now my favourite place to eat in Coalville after this brilliant lunch experience with my friend. The staff were so friendly and welcomed us graciously. Staff were happy to talk through any item menus that we were unsure of which really helped and they advised of menu items that could be adapted to meet our personal preferences. Even though the restaurant was quite busy (which speaks for itself on a week day lunchtime) we were given time and never once felt rushed. We went for the lunch menu which offered a lovely selection. I very much enjoyed the mezze starter as it gave me a chance to try a bit of lots of things but wasn't too filling. The main courses weren't massive but were a perfect lunch time portion and we left very satisfied. The chicken and lamb skewers were both lovely. The prices were great although looking at the main menu the prices were much higher on the a la carte menu. There was some pretty fun looking events also being advertised!Overall an excellent little place and I would definitely recommend Imge.

I have never been here before and have only eaten Turkish food on a holiday I would rather forget about. My old work friends had kindly asked me to join them for a catch up and I didn't want to miss out seeing them all so said yes. We arrived and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were so polite and friendly. We were shown to our table and given menus. Some of us chose to go to the bar to order our own drinks but drinks were served to the table too. We chose to have starters which ranged from soup to squid!. Before the starters arrived we were brought olives, chillies/peppers beautiful warm flat/pitta type breads and a tomato dip. They were all lovely even I tried the chilli ( tad hot for me!!) The starters were delightful. As someone who is a tad fussy when it comes to food I chose the moussaka for my main ...it was served with rice and was absolutely gorgeous. The waiters also put a couple of large salad plates down on the table and these were delicious too. Every meal came out together even though we had all chosen different meals requiring different cooking times. We all really enjoyed our meals and I for one will definitely be returning with my husband so he too can enjoy the experience. Oh I nearly forgot...Turkish delight..... beautiful.. a plate came out with the bill and I ate 4 pieces...thank you

Had a really good meal for two - both of us chose a starter and main from the set menu. They brought olives and lovely warm pitta when we sat down then we had our meal which was lovely - recommend the swordfish! All in came to only around £35 which we thought was excellent.

A brilliant meal, place has a lovely atmosphere, I mentioned to the owner that the flat breads were the best ever and before I left he gave me one (it was huge) to bring home

Excellent food and service, one of my favourite restaurants anywhere let alone Coalville. One of the only good things within the town centre.

I believe that this is Turkish food and therefore I do not eat it often to comment fairly but what I can say is that there is a range of dishes on offer and that it was quiet inside when I went. Service was friendly and I would go there again to try some other dishes. There is a car park to the rear (go past it and if the restaurant is on your right turn right at the first opportunity, opposite Argos and there is the car park).

Been here a couple of times in the past & decided to go for my sons birthday.Absolutely outstanding service & food .There where 20 of us.I had the mixed kebab which was awesome , everybody really enjoyed there's as well .Just one negative they could of off setting one waiter just for us as struggled at times to get drinks & on a 21st that's a must lol.The lamb chops are a must as well .Definitely going back
