Following a vigorous three-hour tennis session, my sharpened appetite led me to explore a highly recommended Thai spot in Exeter. Greeted promptly and seated with efficiency, I indulged in prawn crackers, crispy wontons, and a standout chicken dish. Each component of the meal was a culinary triumph, delivering a feast that challenged even my considerable hunger. The spices were exquisitely balanced, the crispy chicken was a delight, and the rice perfectly cooked, all within an inviting atmosphere. With excellent service rounding out the experience, it’s without doubt that I’ll be returning to this Thai gem.

Had a tofu and mixed vegtable Tom Yum fried rice dish. Absolutely delicious ! Huge portions (I've had this a few times before and had to ask for a takeaway box !) Staff are really friendly and welcoming ✨️can get really busy during lunch and evening hours so would recommend either turning up early or late afternoon 🍜

This place deserves all of the hype it's been getting, I have now eaten in twice, and had two incredible meals there. Super cheap, super tasty, really good quality fresh food, and super friendly staff

OMG, I have thought about my Massaman curry so many times since. Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this place.

Authentic, well priced, and fast culinary experience. We ordered the chicken satay, green curry with tofu & veg, and stir fry noodles with cashews and chicken. All of the dishes were good, but nothing out of the world, but for the price it was a great deal. The service was also really lovely, and speedy, we didn't wait long at all to receive our food. Also great that we got free tap water, which was already placed on every table. Would definitely go back, it's one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Exeter.

Although they let you know what the vegan options are, they contradict the labelling they have on the menu. E.g. egg noodles but then get told the noodles don't have egg in. I had the Bangkok fried rice made vegan with tofu and veg, but the amount of veg is disappointing (I got 3 slices of green pepper, and a couple of slices of onion and spring onion) and they still charge you the same amount even though they are taking ingredients out of it. It would be nicer if they could just make a separate vegan/vegetarian menu and make the prices different. The food tasted ok, just feels disappointing when it's not the full dish.

Portion size is pretty good but the food is very restrained and caters to the general public - doesn't have the punchy strong flavours that good Thai places have

The best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand, the Tom yum was outstanding, friendly service and great portions. Can’t recommend enough. More like a canteen style but with service, a bit chaotic at peak time of 7:30pm but you won’t regret it!

Massaman curry was too sweet for my taste which was a shame. My friends Tom yum fried rice was delicious and very big portion too. However next day both of us had bad stomach cramps :(

Really tasty Spicy Thai chicken with noodles. Friendly service & big portions. My only slight issue is the bright ceiling lights, but otherwise excellent value & a handy pitstop for the city centre.

Top Thai! So much on the menu, but the Massaman Curry is just perfect. Beautifully seasoned, with just the right amount of heat.

Kee mao and panang curry so good!! Legit spicy. Level 2 is the max I think I can take. I would recommend. They have limited menu but so good. Didnt find laksa here. Street parking just outside

Was suggested by cousin son studying exeter, and he wasn't wrong, food is good , good portion size and reasonably priced. Service is quick and efficient. Very hospitable people working there. You will it's popular with student so it has that vibe. Also open till late.

Take away tonight, Sister's green curry was good, but my massaman curry was pretty lack lustre and the beef was tough thin steak slices (more akin to chinese, not nice soft slow cooked beef chunks one associates with a massaman. Good prawn crackers

Had a great meal. Restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. Staff were excellent, very polite and professional with a service check to ensure our food was good. Only downside is that there is only one toilet and no urinal for the gents so you can be waiting a little while. Highly recommended for excellent food.

After reading the reviews we had to give it a go and we are so glad we did.. family of 3 at 17.30 on a Saturday... they don't reserve as a rule but it only took 2mins to be seated but by 6pm there was a que... takeaway 1 side and a small restaurant the other, clean and functional, it's perfect as it is all about the food.... we love Thai food and this was the best we've had for 20years.. Tom yum soup mild absolutely gorgeous and spicy enough.. (if you just got this with a rice that would be enough food for a good apatite..) chicken satay skewers and Thai crackers. Pepper and garlic beef. Pad Thai curry with beef. Panang curry with Prawns and chicken. Stir fried noodle with Prawns.. All cooked to perfection, the panang curry was so Rich and creamy, mild was spicy enough but will try medium next time.. the flavours were soo good... everything was 10/10... The food was all cooked fresh came quick and was all piping hot... Prawns were large and properly cleaned (no digestive track at all) We made a mistake and ordered too much.. this was £90 Inc drinks we took at least a 3rd of it home!! The portions are a really decent size (I'm 22 stone and can eat alot I took half my food home! But really good take away boxes) so if you do over order it's not a waste as we enjoyed it the nest day 2 for 1.. (p.s the plates in the pics are large dinner plates and dished so alot of food..) A really nice eating experience cannot rate it high enough for value for money and lovely staff.. Will go again very soon...

The best Thai restaurant in Exeter! We have been faithful followers for this place since its conception as a noodle bar at the very beginning. We would go back every summer when we visit Exeter. Glad to see the place surviving covid. With an even bigger menu now and noodle bar as a separate shop next door, you can order from both menus. Our favourites have always been larb salad and yum soon sen the glass noodle salad. The Thai grilled chicken is also peak! They don’t go easy on the spicy if you pick 2-chili spicy level be prepare to be blown (and I thought I could do spicy)! For this particular visit the glass noodle salad sadly was a bit sub par. Crucial ingredients were missing - I got some squid balls instead of real squid. A bit disappointing.

This is by far, the most incredible Thai food you will get anywhere! Everything is beautiful and tasty. The Phanaeng curry was next level. The portions are huge and it’s such good value for money. When we came there was a queue so I think the food speaks for itself. And the staff are kind, attentive and friendly. I will be going again.

If you like Thai food you will not be disappointed. I love the panang curry especially. Great value for money. I love this place and also inoodle next door is also great.

Back before it was a larger place I would always get the same thing. Cashew nuts with chilli but I always have asked for no chilli as they make it on the go. Ever since the restaurant has been upsized with new staff the new staff don't seem to understand "no chilli". Last time I went it took 3 people to ask me what I meant by no chilli. After finally getting to the bottom of it my food came without chilli. - Well unfortunately they have given me chilli within my take away today which I asked and saw the ticket saying no chilli and I am unable to eat it as chilli hurts my mouth. It is a bit of a drive to go back and complain. So I hope they will read the reviews and update the standards of their customer service.

Nice Thai food, however they need to **ReThink** their customer service. Namely, I went in for a lunch, was greeted on the door by a smiling waitress who led me to my table and told me that I would need to order my food at the counter. I was under impression they had a waiting service, so Ive asked if this was the case, and I was explained that YES, they do have a waitress service, who shows you the table, hands you the menu, brings you food, but that guests must walk to the counter and order their food after they have been seated!? So, Ive obliged, followed the waitress who took me to the counter to take my order (lol), and then asked me if that's everything.. I was told that I would need to pay immediately (before food arrives) at the counter and if/when I want to order more (drink, desert etc) I would have to come to the counter and order/pay.. At this point it all seemed a little ridiculous so Ive left.. so would suggest to management to apply some common sense, the food is good, shame about the service.

Really great Thai food! I have been to Thailand several times and Thai food in England is never as good, until now! We were a group of 3 we had a Pad Thai, Thai green curry and sweet chilli fried rice. All were absolutely excellent, would absolutely recommend! This is more like a Thai canteen/cafe and not a restaurant but you can eat in or takeaway and it's a clean and friendly environment

The portions are plentiful, delicious & very authentic. The little touches like having water & glasses on hand, condiments, take away boxes should you want to take leftovers home, and toothpicks 😊. Took takeaway home too. The staff are amazing, and very well organised. My husband & I always aim for this restaurant when we visit Exeter and would definitely recommend it. 😊

Quick lunch visit. Beef wok noodles medium spicy. Took me by surprise just how hot medium is, but will be back to try their interpretation of spicy soon, having planned ahead by freezing a toilet roll :) Very hearty portion of noodles with beef and plenty fresh chili in it, one of the best plates of noodles I've had in a long time, 10/10 recommend. Also asked for bottle of water and the lovely lady tried offering me free tap water instead but politely declined. very fast service, friendly staff and tasty, spicy food.

We have regularly had takeaways from iFood Thai Taste for the last couple of years. We've tried multiple items on the menu and they are all delicious. Definitely worth the money! The staff are also very friendly.

The owner was extremely helpful. She added extra noodles at no extra cost, as we have ordered more spacy that we can handle.

This place is gripping me by my neck hairs.The food is so good you can smell it from across town. I love it...No, I have an obsession. They never miss with their meals. I was a bit sceptical at first because 'iFood' sounds a bit of a generic name for a restaurant but this is genuinely a fab find - they offer authentic Thai food at very reasonanable prices. No wonder there is such a long queue from customers and Deliveroo.
