Lovely food, great service and just wanted to add that the staff are so helpfull and patient with my elderly Dad. He is very frail at the moment but still loves it visit here for his latte and a sandwich. Thank you :)

£5.20 for bacon and sausage sandwich in a standard sub roll - expensive to take away. Bacon good quality, however sausage plain and tasteless, no better than supermarket own and forgot the brown sauce! Will not be going again sit in or take out.

Fabulous breakfast served in a timely manner and the cop of proper tea with leaves .staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again thank you 😊

Cute little coffee shop but the service was very off this day... They forgot the condiments then they forgot to bring to cakes apart from this the staff are lovely and the young man couldn't apologise enough

Not very happy. Booked afternoon tea for my daughter's birthday. Asked on the same day to add two more people. They could not accommodate. Was told I could order off the menu instead. To be honest the afternoon tea wasn't value for money. It cost £30 for 2 of us. I asked them why they were showing the price of £13.50 on the menu and online and was told she just hasn't changed it yet. When we were seated it was right Infront of the window dripping in condensation. We will not be going back again.

As ever the drinks and food were good, staff great and friendly.

This coffee shop is an absolute gem. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They serve the best coffee in the area and the food is gorgeous, of great quality, homemade and very good value. Highly recommend. We have just discovered this 'hidden' treasure. Thank Nicky, Charlene, Clare and all the staff.

Firstly, I love the fact that the place was called Idle Lounge, definitely wasn't idle with the service. Always down to eat a Full English wherever I go and I must say it went down really well. The lady at the till was very welcoming and served me with a smile which was sweet.

Nice selection of paninis, sandwiches and cakes. Lovely coffee. Dog friendly which was a big bonus. Nice setting very comfy would definitely recommend

Have been lots of times for lunch and breakfast and always been lovely but thought we would try afternoon tea as granddaughter saw someone having it last time and was not disappointed, it was delicious, plenty to eat and all fresh and very tasty. Staff cant do enough for you. Will be back again soon as all really enjoyed it.

Called here for the first time last week, having failed to get a table on a previous visit. The ambience and decoration are excellent. After checking out the menu we ordered at the counter. Our drinks arrived very quickly followed soon after by the food. My fruit bread was gorgeous with plenty of butter. My husband loved his poached eggs which were cooked to perfection. Overall value for money is excellent. We will definitely call again at this very popular cafe. I can understand why people book in advance.

Cosy vibe. The staff were lovely, nice to have a proper Caffe in the village. It's a great place to go for a long chat. A lot bigger than it seems.

What a fabulous cafe , I would call it the Betty’s of Idle , very well designed , beautiful decor , super relaxing atmosphere, great staff , I’m going to tell as many as I can , we’ll done all , keep up this great work .

Super place, friendly staff, very reasonably priced and enjoyable food and drink. Just one problem hence only 4 stars- the fly control at the moment seems non existent. It’s very off putting and could be reduced easily with bespoke electronic devices by the entrances. I appreciate its high summer but it seems a shame not to address the problem in an otherwise great venue.

Fabulous breakfast with friends XX

Nice space and clearly popular but the breakfast offering was basically different components of an English breakfast, and that was it. No pancakes, no porridge, no waffles, no cereals. Lots of potential.

Superb well run cafe with excellent coffee( best in the area including Costa!!) The food is also delicious. I had a tuna/cheese & red onion panini with a small side salad . Excellent value for money. Really friendly atmosphere. Even when really busy you feel relaxed and not overstaying your welcome even with just a couple of coffees! Beware though as you need to book at busy times otherwise you’ll be disappointed. It’s a large place but can fill up quickly. It’s also doggy friendly too!! Highly recommend you give it a try.

Very friendly and efficient service. Cakes look yummy but full of naughtiness 😀. A relaxed place to enjoy a coffee, breakfast or lunch, I just haven't indulged in that yet !

Nice friendly village cafe good food and excellent coffee

Went with my friend today and ordered a sausage sanny and a hot chocolate it was delicious and the waitress was helpful and friendly when ordering.

Just had the BEST bacon sandwich! Bacon cooked just how I asked. Bread was soft and fresh. Cappuccino was spot on. Staff all lovely and friendly. I will definitely be returning!! Thank you x

Visited on my way to a meeting. The staff were very friendly,. The coffee was lovely, strong and red hot. Bacon sandwich on white bread was delicious and would recommend.

Lovely clean cafe with friendly staff & welcoming atmosphere. Loose tea is good & the baking although I didn’t try looked great. Panini looked like a flat toasted bun not a panini and it was bland. Side salad is tiny but coleslaw was tasty. Nice that dogs are welcome and great Halloween decorations.

Over priced and under portioned. The food portions are extremely small for what you pay. Staff were okay, but i wouldn't go again.

Just had a fantastic breakfast. Clean, welcoming and nice relaxing decor with a mix of soft lounge chairs and proper seated tables. A real gem. I was worried it would be expensive for such a lovely place but a full English was £7. I will visit again and try afternoon tea next time.

Came up to Bradford (from Lincolnshire) and called to get my hair done in Idle and found this place. Beautifully done out inside. Good menu (had the poached eggs). Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and would come again without hesitation. Very friendly too

Great tea, scone, jam & cream to eat in. Takeaway coffees superb too. I have yet to try the afternoon tea, but as soon as there’s opportunity to entertain, then I will.

I took my mum for a late Mother's Day breakfast this morning. We both ordered poached eggs on toast and it was delicious, the eggs were perfect and runny and the toast didn't lack on butter. Excellent food, excellent service!

Great place for a morning coffee and a peice of Flapjack home made yum.

No complaints about the food and drink - my wife's breakfast was fine and my coffee was good, if a little inadequate, as the cups are standard size with no larger option available. The cups are my main criticism of this coffee house as the finger hole is tiny, making them difficult to drink from. The coffee house itself is extremely decorated and quite spacious.

This is the place to go if you’re in the area. Very clean, good social distancing measures ........ and fantastic food at really good prices. The staff are a pleasure on every visit. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was good as usual but don't think I will be back for quite a while because did not feel covid19 safe. Sat in the room which was the original cafe but the large table of older ladies sat in there did not follow rules, no masks when going to counter, started with 2 of them but more people kept joining them which was obviously from different households because asking each other how they were coping with social distance. A staff member came over and thought she was going to tell them they could not sit together but no she joined them for a while and hugged them, think they were regulars so maybe exempt from covid rules. Did not think it was safe.

Very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of room and a there is a great selection in the menu. The food is fresh and very well presented. Coffee here is brilliant also they have a great selection of teas. Very easily accessible with on street parking.

A bit pricey, lovely cafe and the staff are welcoming... the coffee i have to say isn't what it should be, maybe the type of coffee beans or maybe no filtration unit for the water.

£4 for a bacon sandwich. One rasher of bacon in a bread roll for £4. Absolute scam. Could have got a full breakfast at a normal cafe for this. Kids meals bit of grated cheese in a roll and come with Aldi drinks and Aldi...

Wow !!! Just Wow !!!!.... This lovely establishment nestled in the little village of Idle was good before its refurbishment. Visited this morning (Tuesday) for a small breakfast and coffee. The restaurant has been extended and is nothing short of fantastic. Cool... sharp....extremely tidy and...

Called in for the first time today, a lovely little cafe, felt very cosy and welcoming. We had a train and a white hot chocolate. Very nice.
