I Calabresi deli caffe in Croydon

Went in as it was recommend to me for picky eaters. Brought 2 pizzas he said he could get them ready for 430... I come back at 430 and pizza is ready (not like those big shops that say a time and arnt ready) .. Lovley staff polite and helpful.. 2 picky children are over the moon with their pizza very tasty. Definitely taste its home made. Fluffy. And perfectly cooked... defo going to be going there regular.

Always a pleasure to visit this cafe/deli. Fantastic selection of authentic Italian food. The paninis, ciabatta and sandwiches are made to perfection with plenty of filling. The lattes are great too and all served with a smile by Antonio. Do not miss visiting this deli!

A very nice authentic Italian cafe. Have been a regular at I Calabresi and i must say the food is absolutely fabulous. The paninis are really good and i do recommend them.

According to one review, from another deli,not in Coulsdon, the cheese and meat are rancid and dirty, well my husband and I must really like the rancid food and dirty cafe as we keep going back for more! All i have to say is, I know who you are, GET a LIFE!. 5 stars to Tony And Caroline.

Mixed experience. The coffee was the worst I’ve had in a long time - tasted like overly hot, tasteless water. The cakes/Italian snacks were nice - not made on the premises though. The paninis looked good and I might give it another go and get one of those to take away.

Tony always delivers a great service with a fab selection of delicious Italian deli products. He will go out of his way to supply you with your favourite items & gives great advice if you fancy trying something new.

Is really good proper Italian food. Small place at the other end and no parking.

This is a unique cafe that not only sells great Italian food and drink but provides a relaxed atmosphere that brings the community together. This was owner Antonio's intention and it definitely works! The food is freshly prepared and delicious, also reasonably priced. I love my tomato and mozzarella paninis but there is so much more! You can have a quiet coffee and take time out or you can chat and pass the time of day with other regular customers. Either way, you'll come away looking forward to your next visit. Highly recommended.

Regularly go there for the best coffee in the area. Antonio is a prince amongst men, a very hospitable host.

The shop is a bit old and not been taken care of that much. We've been there for a coffee, which was ok and we also had a couple of little typically Italian pastries which were ok too. Also, we decided to buy some of the products that were kept in the fridge: Mortadella (a kind of Italian ham), salami and a scamorza (smoked cheese) to make a home pizza dinner at night. The waiter cut it in front of us, then we bring it home (15 minutes driving) and a put straight in our fridge. When we opened the Mortadella, the same day, the smell was terrible and it was disgusting, maybe the shop kept it from a while and they couldn't sell it and the salami same thing... Unfortunately we had to make a Margherita as we didn't want to be food poisoned. I didn't expect the same taste of the one I use to buy in Italy but I didn't expect to be so terrible as well. We've been only once and that will be the last!!!

I go here most, as it’s my local. Have been with school Mums, as a family, with friends, to special events in the evening (not normally open) & with husband - tried many things, food-wise mostly & never disappointed. Antonio is really friendly & helpful. It’s also got a lot of Italian food/treats/deli counter as well as being a cafe.

Antonio is fabulous- he’ll make exactly what you want from what he has, just ask. Great coffee, service, chat. Somewhere I’m happy to go alone which is rare, but equally meet with groups (networking) & husband and/or kids. He also holds great value evening Events sometimes & hosts small groups- just ask!

A great little deli for everything Italian, meats, cheeses, breads, wines, pastas etc. Havent yet tried eating in but judhing by the ingredients available it should be great

Fabulous place to visit and have a lovely chat with the owner Antonio and his wife . Very welcoming and lovely place in chipstead valley road. You can also buy Italian wine and food and bread. Always pop in when we are out and about

Fantastic Italian deli and cafe that welcomes you with a smile and very welcoming. Great drinks and delicious paninis. We tend to get lunch and then buy Italian bread and pasta. Great place to visit

Stopped in after work and had a toasted sandwich and two wonderful pastries for my desert one filled with Nutella and the other with pistachio. The sandwich was filled with a variety of meats and was lovely. Give it a try

A small but super place to eat and pick up anything from cook at home pizza to cold meats , oils and wine. I have got all the above items in the last year or so. Come sit down and talk to the owner, this is a very good place for any need you have.

Stopped in here with the children for a quick drink and ordered myself a hot chocolate. I have never tasted anything like it!! It was truly amazing, it was genuinely the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life! I urge you to go and try it!!!!

I visited this cafe for a panini and coffee after just moving to the area. The staff were friendly and the coffee was excellent. Recommended!

This lovely little deli cafe is great, the owner is friendly and accommodating and has a box of toys to keep the children amused, the ice cream is amazing and the food is delicious!!!

Great place for a fantastic panini and a coffee. The owner is friendly and even allows my dog in. Sells great pasta, sauces, and other Italian groceries which we pick up when we can. Hosts wine evenings that we plan on trying out soon. Two thumbs up!

This is a fantastic deli tucked away on Chipstead Valley Road. The coffee is good and the Rustico pannini is a favourite of mine. A good stop off before or after going to Rickman Hill Park!
