Long wait to be seated because very popular. Great well presented food. All made fresh to order. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here for lunch lovely homemade soup and freshly made sandwiches and a flat white to top it off. Nice food , nice ambience and very friendly staff. We will return.

Food us outstandingly good, prices are excellent and staff couldn't be more pleasant ir helpful. First choice for a light meal.

What a lovely place excellent staff brilliant breakfast

Food was average but not bad. Service was the same. We got our coffees after our food which was unusual. I think someone forgot 😅 Also didn't realise it was owned by a church until we noticed some Jesus stuff inside 🤔 we certainly wouldn't have deliberately given our money to any religious organisation if we had known.

I used to visit this cafe often when I worked nearby. I returned today with a friend. It's great value for money and the breakfasts, soups and sandwiches are stunning. Lovely helpful staff as well. A hidden gem of a place to eat.

Great food, however the handling of getting a table can be frustrating and slow, queuing system could be better organized by staff

This snug tea room never fails to impress. Homemade dishes from scratch spoiled for choice for any part of the day. Staff are friendly and the tearoom itself has a welcoming feeling. The history behind the building is fascinating as well. Prices are very reasonable. My friends and I go as often as we can. Don't miss out on this lovely wee gem in East Kilbride.

Food was amazing, service was great, venue was very cute, great selection of food and cakes. Very reasonably priced. Facilities clean and great for mum of toddler as they had a child's seat in disabled, womens and mens facilities.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday. Now table service due to covid. Staff were lovely. Food was very tasty and inexpensive. Had a roll with square sausage and tatty scone, my partner had scrambled eggs with bacon and tomato and we shared a pot of tea. Would definitely go again.

Sat for 15 minutes same girl who was serving stared at us 4 times totally ignoring us served some one who had came in after us,amateurs will not be back

Met my friend here for breakfast today for the second time and happy to say it was as good as the first time! They do a great cooked breakfast and you can choose 4, 6 or 8 items. Four with a slice of toast is just right for us. I had bacon, sausage, potato scone and beans served with a pot of tea, was lovely. Great attention paid to COVID regulations, staff very pleasant. Bill for 2 of the above was £10. Definitely will be a third visit.

Iv been here 5/6 times and I think they don't care for new customers very much, I had a problem with an egg being not cooked right it was all clear and gooey round the yolk so I asked nicely if I could have a different one and got the dirty look and was told it was cooked, so I say I can't eat that egg she told me she would make me a new one we'll what can I say I just told her what the problem was and she gives me the same again under cooked it was the lady with grey hair, the cafe belongs to the church next door and I get the feeling they only want to be nice to the church goers. Food 5/10 Staff 2/10 People 8/10 Decor 5/10 Waiting time for food 3/10

The Hunter Brothers were doctors who studied at Glasgow University. The former museum is now a coffee shop in the Calderwood area of the town. There is a good selection of food including breakfast, lunch and pastries. The original coal fireplaces are still present although electric heating keeps the place warm. This time of year the place is decorated with period decorations and the staff in Christmas atire.

Clean and tidy cafe. Tasty baked potato with haggis but many other options. Has tables with straight-backed chairs and others with sofas and lower tables for more relaxed drink.

Love this place! Such a wee treasure that I never knew existed and was so happy when I found it.. me and my partner love coming here regularly for a nice breakfast and a few cups of tea. Staff are always so lovely and approachable. Such a welcoming, calm, cosy atmosphere!

Have visited this lovely coffee shop set within the Hunter Museum several times now and it’s becoming one of my favourite places. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A wide variety of food including delicious home made soups, sandwiches, cakes etc. The sandwiches are served with side salad and a choice of dressing. They are all freshly made and are exceptional value for money. Definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed😀

Wow! Terrific place to watch live music. Saw The Black Feathers in concert accompanied by great home baking! Good food and drink and friendly staff. Also local artists display their works for sale. Real community hub. Will definately be back in the future.

Just visited this cafe with a group of friends for lunch. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They cater for all ages and tastes. Menu is extensive with lovely homemade soups toasties sandwiches and baguettes. Very clean and really worth a visit.
