Standards dropped drastically, more grease in, on and covering thw pizza, awful cheap cheese, won't be going back

Great website, delivery driver was lovely food was hot and as ordered. Good service would order again.

Absolutely gutted. We decided to try these because a menu had been popped through our door for their Wednesday off of a penny pizza with orders over £12. As we got in too late for me to cook dinner what I had planned, me and my partner ordered from hungry jacks for the first time. It arrived nearly 25 minutes later than they said it would, the parmo was cold, and the pizza box was soggy from the garlic butter on the pizza. They forgot the bottle of drink on our order so I rang the Stockton hub and they confirmed they would send it out as soon as the driver was back. Over 30 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived. My partner then rang the shop, where the phone was answered, and then put on the side, we could both hear the noise of the pizza shop, and then answering the other phone when it rang. When we rang back and got through my partner expressed his disappointment with the customer service and the order. The staff member told us to send the food back with the driver delivering the bottle of pop, and they would send out fresh. All we wanted was a refund, but wasn’t offered that. If we had taken their offer it would of been after 7 before it arrived and I might as well or cooked for us. Very disappointed when they had the potential be to great. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

I always order from hungry jacks and get the same pizza. I spoke to Ben who was lovely and ordered bbq base with red onions and extra cheese. Delivery was quick and delivery girl lovely but the pizza was basic at best. I hadn't ate so had had som, the dough looked a day old and definitely no extra cheese. I rang and spoke to guy to explain he said he would get manager and there was shouting in background and then ben came on phone defensive and unapologetic. I've ordered from here for last 2 years but won't be bothering again if that's the service that's now being provided.

Thought I'd give it a try after a long time away.. ordered at 7pm and it was delivered at 7.25. Now that's amazing on a Saturday evening.. pizza was piping hot.. that's the good stuff over.. I ordered "meat is on" pizza. Base was thin. Very little if any tomato base. If I took off the pepperoni my veggie mate could have eaten the rest.. very little meat. According to their website, the Veggie Volcano pizza has the following toppings: jalapenos, peppers, red onion, green chillies, tomatoes. We had no tomatoes, very few onions and the cheese was so thin it had no taste. Over recent months the quality has reduced progressively to the point whereby this pizza is now defiantly not worth the money. We'll now be looking elsewhere or simply make our own cheese on toast where at least we'll be able to taste something.

Professional and polite staff from counter to door. I had the gluten free parmo and it was excellent, perfect chicken, sauce and cheese ratios that didn't lack in flavour. Well done 👍

Hungry Jack’s Ingleby Barwick: ordered a takeaway pizza from hungry jacks at a friends house. The delivery was extremely quick by a friendly young man named Michael. The pizzas were hot and delicious as were the cookies!

Just finished our pizza and milk shakes! Totally enjoyed both thank you to the staff as well the counter server was overly friendly , clear in her help ordering and also the manager who was helpful and we had good banter . Keep up the good work all and I will be back!!

Bought a pizza at Billingham drove ten minutes to my home and found pizza Luke warm. Very disappointed. Informed Billingham who passed my order to Stockton delivery service who was given the wrong address which when delivered the pizza was as cold as fist one. A refund will be given when I go back to the Billingham shop!

Pizza was top class as good as domino's, also had potatoe wedges they were dry would give them a miss next time, staff where friendly and service was quick.

My partner and I were visiting family up in Middlesbrough. We were recommended to go to Hungry Jack's for a parmo, which my boyfriend tried for the first time and absolutely loved it! The portion sizes are great, the food ha flavour, and we loved the feature of getting to press the buzzer after spending over £10. The staff were so lovely the first time we went, we could not help ourselves but go back the very next evening.

Not recommended- your food isn't reasonably priced, it's bland/tasteless specially the parmos. ( I literally had to add garam masala to at least taste something) The wedges are so dry and look sorry for themselves..we really didn't enjoy your food...big shame! At one point you did better food! 😔😔

The parmo was so greasy I couldn't taste anything other than grease. Not served with garlic sauce. Salad is iceberg lettuce with bland coleslaw and tomato. That's not a parmo salad. Should be red and white cabbage, lettuce, onion and tomato. Never again.

Trying this place out. First impression,its bright and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Other half had gluten free pizza and i had traditional plus additional bbq chicken wings. The chicken wings are alright. The pizza is very good for gluten free. I love their pizza base. Definitely be ordering again. Its just a shame they dont deliver in our area.

We had a takeaway from Billingham tonight Due to be delivered at 5 came around 5.30 3 14” pizzas , 2 wedges , 2 chicken strips, nuggets, wings, coke , cookies Everything was cold - stone cold Wedges were truly disgusting dried up very unpleasant lots of black and scrappy ones Wings greasy not cooked properly 1 of the pizzas seemed to be yesterday’s was shrivelled up like leather The cookies were burnt This was supposed to be a celebration Take-out for me - ordered by my husband as a treat The advert says “no to bad pizza “well this was very bad pizza!! I gave hungry jacks the chance to rectify the experience but they were not interested!

Parmos are the best in town! Coleslaw aswell! Order every week and everytime is amazing

Pizzas were amazing! We ordered the real deal BBQ chicken wings , cheesy wedges and mixed cookies. We also got a large drink included just ordered some dips. Everything was brilliant

Tried this place tonight for first time and won’t be going back for a pork Parmesan it was horrendous! Loads off cheese and bechamel sauce on but the pork was shocking, came in 3 separate sheets! Hardly no breadcrumbs on bottom and non on top of pork It was like cardboard to say the least. Very disappointed.

We ordered our food online and went to collect from the store. We were welcomed by friendly and polite staff. Was serived with pipping hot food. To get home and enjoy every single bite. Couldnt fault the pizza or parmo which we ordered. The cookies are unreal. My new weekly take away!

We ordered online always get a 14" hot n spicy chicken with a garlic and herb stuffed crust...amazing! Always made to feel welcome when we collect our food. Shop is always clean. Good quality food. Thanks Hungry Jacks !!

I consider these the best pizzas around. They use good ingredients and although you sometimes have to wait a bit, it is always well worth it.

Been going for months, always perfect and friendly staff. My only complaint is the way busy periods are dealt with, no doubt management have given them strict instructions. If the phone rings they have to pick it up, regardless of if they are in the middle of making an order or paying for an order. I understand the company don’t want to lose a potential customer but it’s annoying for the customer who is just about to pay and collect but have to wait because the phone rang.

DO NOT GET A CHICKEN PIZZA. We got tandoori ‘chicken’ and only after eating a couple of slices did I actually chew a piece of chicken on its own. Only to be stuck biting into cheap fatty meat. Certainly not breast. It just looks like a spicy coating but the meat is brown. It resembles my dog’s dinner. Overpriced for cheap food quality. Veg pizza was good but it was £9.30 (same price as chicken but now I know why) The shop looks the part but it’s a case of all the gear. NO IDEA!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Pizza good size and not oily or stodgy, could do with a touch more toppings to be perfect. some takeaway pizza are heavy and dense but not these, however they are usually a good bit cheaper. . Only tried the parmo once and tbh can’t remember it because it comes with oven wedges that tasted like cardboard so have never ordered them again.. delivery always fast always hot. Would be five stars if pizza wasn’t the only thing on the menu we liked.

I guess I will leave a review for Hungry's on this listing as there is no listing for the one on Norton Road, Stockton-on-Tees. We have ordered from here a dozen times, the food is always spot on. The Parmo's are really nice, both the chicken and pork versions. They also do some good pizza's. Service is dead quick, they are always at our place about 20 minutes after ordering.

For the first time we called in to collect our pizza from the Billingham Jack's, and was more than pleasantly surprised sparingly clean the place was, how helpful and cheerful the staff were, pizza was great as normal, when handed our order the guy even opened the door to give me easy exit, top shop top employees, will undoubtebly visit again,,, top mark's.

I ordered the veggie volcan pizza and cheesy wedges both made with vegan cheese..i was so excited to try a new vegan pizza and expected a lovely fat spicy veg loaded pizza with melty spicy wedges. What I recieved was a paper thin, cold tasteless, minimal topped pizza and dry wedges with the cheese flung on top like an after thought. It cost me just under £14 delivered and I was very disappointed to say the least. There is more flavour in a dry sponge. The edges of the pizza were like a burnt biscuit and I had to crunch through it to get to the chewy cold tasteless base. Not even a little bit spicy. :( I managed 1 slice of pizza and 1 wedge the rest got binned as I was eating alone. I am not a fussy eater what so ever and love trying new food unhealthy/healthy whatever il eat it but this was inedible.

We use hungry jacks every week, best pizzas by far! Always piping hot and I mean piping hot! Cookies are to die for too! ❤️ Wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Probably the best pizza in Billingham or even anywhere I've been in 100 mile radius! One if my favourites.

Whenever I have a craving for pizzas I go here they are by far the better pizza shop in Billingham. Only thing i wish they would include on there menu is chips, they do wedges but I much prefer chips with my pizza

We tried this last Sat for the first time, we needed Gluten free for a couple of people and they were fully OK with that, the Pizza's were amazing and really good value for money. So much we had another pizza the next nightHighly recommended

absolutely gorgeous. i had a hotshot parmo. it was very hot, which i like. wedges and salad were lovely. my kids got a pizza each , the dough was amazing. we also won a free milkshake which my son give a 5 star rating .
