Always a lovely, friendly place to visit. Cracking food, a great selection of drinks and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A real hidden gem in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Lots for the kids to do in the play area too.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Big portions. Fab chips. Reasonable priced. We here for weekend break will go again next time we over this way

We were greeted with a warm welcome and we were made to feel like a regular. I ordered chicken and ribs and my wife ordered steak and ale pie. The kitchen is close by and the smells from the kitchen were Devine. It took a reasonable time to arrive, I dislike places where it’s on the table in 10mins, tells me it’s already cooked and reheated in a microwave, instead this place cooked fresh. The steak and ale pie was home made and the chicken breast and ribs were cooked to perfection , the chips were to die for. For desert I had salted caramel blonde cheesecake and my wife had Lemon tart. With the high praise I gave the main meals the deserts didn’t disappoint. Very well presented and tasted very nice.

Been a while since last visit and won't be as long again. Beautifully cooked Sunday carvery served with a smile. Attentive staff even though very busy. Puddings tasty and plentiful.

What a lovely little gem of a place. We have been visiting Spilsby to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life & had been struggling to find a place serving a decent vegan meal that wasn’t just pasta. After a less than friendly reception at a different pub, we stumbled across this fantastic place and were so glad we did! The gentleman behind the bar couldn’t have been friendlier. All 3 of the members of staff that we met were so lovely & nothing was too much to ask for. The chef cooked up a freshly baked, homemade vegan pie which was delicious! My fiance had the rump steak , with all the trimmings, which he said was divine & actually cooked the way he likes it. We left absolutely stuffed to the gills with delicious home cooked food & smiles on our faces from the lovely staff. We will be sure to visit again, should we find ourselves this way. You can’t get better than village pub grub!

Had roast dinner here today, I was beautiful, all fresh and homemade, we have been here a few times and it has always been really good, Had biscoff cheese cake for pudding it was delicious, Lovely pub, welcoming staff, and Fantastic food, we will be back again, thank you

Nice chalets and great hosts. It's not too far from most local beaches which are between 20 to 30 mins drive.

Wow!! What a superb Sunday Lunch with a variety of meats available (5 on my first visit) and perfectly cooked veg. Not only is the welcome warm and friendly but the service is outstanding, thank you Carla. I will continue to visit and enjoy a superb Sunday Lunch as well as the other wonderful dishes available during the week. The Fish n Chips are especially good. Very highly recommended.

Was staying the weekend in Skegness and decided to have a run out and find a nice little country pub for a meal on a Saturday evening well the hundleby inn did not disappoint, a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff were so friendly, I can’t eat a lot after an op I had and they allowed me to order from the main menu but a childrens size, my partner ordered the mega mix grill and wow he definitely made up for mine, he couldn’t finish it, I hope the owners labradors enjoyed the left overs, the beer garden looked lovely but was raining on our visit so couldn’t take advantage of it, overall we definitely found a little gem and will be visiting again when we are next over!!!

The owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful, providing great service and contributing to the overall atmosphere of the establishment. Good wholesome food well presented and tasty. Very fairly priced as well.

Wow!! Amazing friendly welcome, we hadn’t booked ahead but they squeezed us in (book in advance as very popular). We had the carvery & had a choice of 4 meats, all the vegetables were fresh & piping hot, 2 choices of potato, parsnips & huge Yorkshire puddings! Can not fault the food at all. We managed a dessert & the Lemon meringue was zingy & light. The Salted Caramel cheesecake was full of flavour. Would highly recommended booking lunch here.

What a lovely pub! Called in on the off chance of getting a Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed, the service was excellent, all the staff were lovely, the food superb, and we shall definitely be back. Thank you so much!

We were recommended by a local friend to come here for the Sunday carvery.We were really pleased we came a good selection of roast meat giant yorkies loads of fresh vegetable with roast and mashed potatoes the gravy was delicious , pub was very present to be in friendly staff, had a lovely garden with beautiful hanging baskets that one of my friends had made. We will definitely be back on a Sunday…many thanks you have a great chef.

My husband and I visited this inn last Saturday. We were at our daughters wedding reception. The Inn exceeded expectation with excellent buffet and beautiful gardens complimented by blue skies and bright sunshine. The hospitality team went out of their way to please. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Wow what a find! We were recommended in coming here for our meal, my husband and myself, to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary! We were not disappointed! Everything about it was excellent, from the service, the food was cooked to perfection and very good value for money! We shall now recommend, thank you!

I really wanted to love this place because the staff were honestly so lovely and the garden area is stunning I could have seen myself sat out there in the summer with a g&t lovely little play area down the bottom the decor is really quirky and it has a lovely atmosphere. You can tell that the people that go here probably do regularly and it seems to be a massive hit in the area. I came with my family for a carvery booked for 2:30. I am vegetarian as is my 16 year old daughter and as we didn't preorder a veggie option we couldn't have one that was fair enough as I should have thought. I also don't mind loading up on veg and sides etc although when we came to dish up we basically had the last dregs of whatever was left and 3 of the "5 veg" advertised was gone I wish we were told on the phone when we booked when it's gone it's gone. I wouldn't be as bothered but with no meat alternative you really do rely on the side dishes, the lady serving the carvery said that it's all gone so that's that, the only veg left by the time I had dished the children's up and given them theirs was peas, carrots and some cauliflower my husband had to limit his mash so I could have some. So couldn't exactly load up on veg or even potatoes. I got an extra Yorkshire but my daughter didn't, she got one small stuffing ball one Yorkshire a few extra roasts (you don't dish these bits up yourself) so really slim pickings for the full £11. The Yorkshires were so dry and burnt I struggled to eat mine but I didn't have much else to go in, my son couldn't eat his the stuffing was hard I think where it had just been sat. Veg a bit on soggy side again where it has been left in the water. The food was average. I think it would have been better had we got there earlier and therefore this review seems harsh however this was just my experience. The place was bustling with people so they must think it's good . The deserts were really nice huge portions but for 3 adults and 2 children with 1 round of drinks we only got a few quid change out of £100 and 2 of the adults didn't have any meat and they couldn't offer the full veg either if we hadn't got a desert my 16 year old would have been left hungry. They don't charge for toddlers though which is really a nice touch that helped soften the blow a bit.

A wonderful setting with engaging and friendly hosts plus the most superb collection of aircraft paintings, pictures and drawings in the main bar.. We (5 adults & 2 infants) arrived soon after opening to a warm greeting & quick, efficient service. We ordered for the infants first and had to wait only a few minutes for him to have his lunch. We ordered pie, fish and burgers for the adults. The pie and fish was superb, the burgers average but accompanying onion rings were poor. Overall, a great experience and an eatery which will be revisited.

Always greeted with a warm smile. Nothing is too much. Good lager (Spitfire) Food is way beyond just pub grub. Staff always welcoming and friendly. I would whole heartedly recommend this place for a beer or and or food. I don't often endorse places but this one takes the cake.

We like to visit The Hundlby Inn for a good night and food. Always satisfied but now we can actually stop at the retreat in the grounds of the pub. We had a lovely weekend and hired Poppy and Harry for our stay. Wonderful, comfortable and amazing hospitality with meals at the Hundlby each evening. Enjoyed it so much so that booked to come again in August. Thank you Angela and Steve for a wonderful family break.

Stayed at the Hundleby in April 2022, Steve and Ang were fantastic hosts, brilliant staff, food was fantastic, would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Spilsby.

Lovely welcoming family pub with a small but friendly bar, the chef managed to put together some apple crumbles at short notice for some of our party. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Went back last night and food is still great can recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Also need to say that the prices for food & drinks are really reasonable.

Having heard good comments about the food here was disappointed with our meals. Meat is reheated in the microwave ( could hear the microwave in use all the time we were there) and not cooked from fresh! Hence meat hard and difficult to cut ....

Booked in for Sunday dinner. Asked for a corner table due to have two dogs and we where catered for perfectly. Had Sunday carvery loads of meats to choose from, Yorkshire's perfectly cooked, roasts and parsnips too. Help your self veg and gravy, all very tasty. Had pudding cheesecake and fudge cake, would recommend both! Thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you

Attended a buffet for a family event. Food was excellent. Very tasty and varied selection (including the nicest chips I've had for a long time). Staff (owners?) faultless, pleasant and unobtrusive. Look forward to having the opportunity to trying a meal there if possible.

I've given a five star review to this public house because of the quality of the food, value for money and the very warm welcome. The pub has a lovely outside seating area, two dinning areas inside one of which has a log fire for those chilly nights.

Visited the Hundleby Inn today with my wife and daughter and were met by the most amazing, friendly, welcoming and warm staff I’ve ever experienced in a pub. The place itself is lovely, with open fires (not needed today as it was scorching), cosy bar...

A pleasure to have a lunch here. The staff could not have been more kind, nor more helpful. Food was a good pub standard, and they'd put a lot of thought into keeping things safe, warm and dry in the outside gardens, with plastic 'roofs'...

First visit out to pub since lockdown easing. Delightful garden, pretty flowers, intimate seating, wonderful hospitality and the warm sun was an added bonus. The food was fantastic as always and Steve, Angela and staff made us feel safe and welcome. Thanks. We’ll be back!!!
