A mate of mine who lives in Leeds recommended this place... OMFG... recommendation of the century!Had a pitta with falafel, hummus, extra aubergine and pickles. Everything top drawer!!Shame it’s so messy or I’d be taking some back on the train home for the family

Brilliant wholesome lunch on the go as I love falafel. I found there are plenty of gluten free options on the menu. Thanks so much to Chloe for going that extra mile in ensuring quality service & non cross contamination of ingredients. Very reasonably priced too!

I wandered around Leeds for an hour deciding where to have lunch. Leeds has a broad mix of the good, bad and ugly. Everything from burgers to swanky business expense cafes. I chose Humpit as the best, and I'd say I chose right. On taste alone, I've not had a better lunch for a very long time. Add in that it was fresh, filling and good value. And, by the way, healthy and environmentally sound (but don't let that put you off). Nice setting in Leeds' lovely old Corn Exchange. Never has a 'meal deal' been so damned good.

We really enjoyed our snack lunch at Humpit. Good value fresh hummus, veg and pitta served with charm. We sat inside the Corn Exchange, which is an inspiring place to be while enjoying the food.

Mooching around the beautiful warm Corn Exchange as an antidote to the nearby massive shopping centre (and the freezing rain). Everything is deliciously quaint, a male choir was singing, and then there was this amazing eatery. Fresh, varied, healthy, tasty food, and very filling too. The special deal was so much I couldn't finish my pitta bread. Definitely a hidden gem. I'll be back with more friends.

Wow, now that's how you cook aubergine, absolutely delicious. The hummus plate was also excellent, pitta was warm and fresh, service was great and the atmosphere was warm, chilled out and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this place

I'd been wanting to visit Humpit for ages, but it was a bit of a let down. The hummus was .......... fine. The falafel were good. The pitta was cold and chewy, the sweet potato fries likewise. Maybe I visited on a bad day but I'm struggling to understand the hype

Me encantó aquí! ! Ubicado en un funky restaurado edificio del mercado es genial. Menú pequeño pero personal encantador y entendieron completamente la diferencia entre celíacos y simplemente sin gluten, incluso hasta lo que fue en la freidora tan bien hecho por las chicas que nos sirvieron.

Comimos en Humpit por primera vez recientemente, ¡y fue maravilloso! Las porciones son enormes y las falafels son esponjosas por dentro y crujientes por fuera. También tuvimos sus batatas fritas, que eran maravillosas y crujientes, y su limonada casera, que era perfecta. El personal fue realmente encantador y servicial, ¡gracias! Hidden in the Victoria quarter in the centre of Leeds. Food extremely fresh and nice to see a different food outlet in centre. Meaning to come here for ages as it always has good comments on trip advisor I would recommend this place 😀🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️😀

A very friendly lady served my wife and I pitta pockets, sweet potato fries and roasted cauliflower here. Nice to find a place with some healthy options among lots of junk food places. Every Wednesday they run a promotion: buy any filled pitta and get another one for just £1! We thought this was very reasonable.

Popped here as a last minute lunch decision with my best mate. We are both vegan so wanted somewhere with a vegan selection. I’d been here before but not for a while so we chose here for a change.

Fancied a healthy lunch and Humpit popped up on my search. Lovely location in the corn exchange. We had the humous and falafel salad which was delicious and homemade style lemonade. Hope they add to the menus as only really two options salad or in a wrap...or you could have beetroot humous. Very reasonable but NO CASH just card.

What a great little place with really friendly staff. My daughter loved the filled pitta bread. All really fresh ingredients and very tasty! Situated on the ground floor of The Corn Exchange its a cool place to grab a bite to eat. I was the customer with the daughter who spoke Japanese

Came here to end off a day trip to Leeds after seeing it earlier in the day and cleaned the plate it was so good! Can imagine it's a great place to snack or lunch, but it's also nice to share with a friend.

The vegetables are super fresh and the spices and sauces are amazing (w friendly staff and quick service) can't recommend this enough; probably the best salad I've ever eaten tbh 🥗

We were in Leeds shopping and were looking for somewhere to eat and we stumbled across this place in the Corn Exchange Leeds.

I have heard so many good things about Humpit that I was glad it presented itself before my eyes when visiting The Corn Exchange. The food is fresh, filling and tasty. The sides are a good pound overpriced for the portion sizes, but are full of flavour. I ordered just before 12, and by the time I was tucking into my food the queue was easily 15 deep, so get there early.

This is how you do fast food. Specialise in something, do it well, do it fast. Humpit is superb - chanced across on our first visit to Leeds whilst checking out the Corn Exchange and has the hummus and pitta deal, and we were blown away. Lovely pitta (so much better than those pale imitations you get in supermarkets); delicious hummus; chick peas and falafels; fantastic roast cauli; and great cold drinks. The food is great, it is wonderful value, and it is a cool location. Brilliant.

Service was quick. Food was lovely. We got two wraps.. buy one and get one for £1 on a Wednesday so £11 for two wraps with salsa (an extra) and a drink. Well worth the money as the portions were huge and food was lovely. Would recommend.

Fantastic tasty fresh food as always. I thought the filled pitas were a little smaller than normal however when I questioned this I was given a very polite explanation by Finlay. A very professional polite young man. A credit to the business and himself.

Great value for money, hummus and falafel are always fresh and packed full of flavour. Lots of crunchy salad on top, make this a go to place when in Leeds and after some food on the go.

I had lunch here on Friday after having scoured the immediate area for vegan, gluten free lunch options only to be told there was nothing for me and then luckily I found the Humpit. I explained my dietary requirements and the helpful and friendly chaps did not bat an eye lid and made me a bespoke bowl of absolute nourishment and a drink all for £7.20 - see pic. I'll definitely be back! Please note the Humpit only accepts cards, not cash.

Best hummus and falafel I have ever had, and as a vegan, I have had a lot of falafel and hummus. Some waiting time but it is definitely worth it!

Good to see that the humpit has had a bit of a revamp since we last visited. A bigger kitchen and more seating has really reduced the waiting time for food Delicious hummus, perfect pittas and tasty pickles all washed down by homemade lemonade.

I love humpit! Generous portions, tasty food and a great location in the corn exchange, love coming here to get lunch and people watch for a little while :)

Visited today, no queue so got served quickly. Had a hot tomato aubergine dish with gluten free flat bread. Ordering was tricky because they had a radio blaring out very loudly which made it difficult to hear what the member of staff was saying. The food was delicious although the portion was rather small for the price, nice flatbread but this was a bit hard in places. Overall quite impressed and will visit agaun.

OMG! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The food (falafel bowl) was full of taste, the staff were ultra friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing (even on a Saturday afternoon).

Great little place in the old Corm Exchange. FAB building and great fiod offering here. Fresh pizza bed with bits just the right side of crispy ! The humus is wonderful. Some great meal deals make it bwry competitively priced. Efficient and ftiendly owner/ staff. Obviously veggie friendly. Vegan too.

Visited humpit today at around 14:45 to grab quick filled pitta before heading back to work.

Set in the old Corn Exchange in Leeds, this is a great place to eat excellent healthy vegan food, chat to other diners, and people watch, all at the same time.

This is a gem of a cafe. Set in the lovely Corn Exchange, you are surrounded by an eclectic mix of shops and shoppers but you still feel that you are not crowded, sitting outside the Humpit.

Inside the very underrated Corn Exchange Humpit has been serving great food for a few years now.

Really lucky to find this little gem in an interesting building.

Me encanta Humpit. Soy un cliente fiel de varios años y AMO la comida. Normalmente voy a la sucursal de la Universidad de Leeds, que es hábil y rápida, a pesar de un gran número de clientes. Llamado para el almuerzo un domingo. Lugar muy concurrido pero no hay que esperar realmente. La ensalada era fresca con mucho sabor. Otros tenían pan de pita con humus y falafel que todos amaban también. Es un gran café, merecidamente popular y dentro del intercambio de maíz, lo que lo convierte en un excelente ambiente.

The first time I tried their Pitta I was in heaven, such amazing tastes.

Always delicious, and as a bonus it's healthy too! I often come to both this one in corn exchange and at Leeds university campus for a wholesome lunch.

Had lunch here. It's a limited menu, but they do it very well. We had the meal deal, which was hummus, a white or brown pitta, 2 sides and a drink, I think it was £6.50 each. The sides I had were falafel and roast cauliflower. It was all very tasty, fresh and filling and I would definitely eat here again. Especially good for vegans and vegetarians, and the Corn Exchange building is a lovely place to sit and eat.

Lovely tasty fresh variety of salad, delicious nutty falafel and tasty smooth humous, I really enjoyed my lunch and the homemade lemonade. My husband also enjoyed his Humpit meal deal which was a big bowl of humous, pita and two sides. This is now my new favourite lunch spot in Leeds. Gorgeous food in the stunning Corn EXchange building.

Especially good! Food is clean and healthy and nice idea around a set menu which is good value, a bit different and fun. The place could be cleaner;is not too bad at all, visit this place...I’d recommend it.

we had lunch here - unfortunately we both had the same so cant offer a view on too much !! we both had an aubergine and tomato dish cant remember the name but it was tasty , could have done with more though - as £6.50 for 4 slices of aubergine and a tomato sauce! and a pita bread ( dont think these were homemade so that was disappointing, i may be wrong ) service fantastic, staff were lovely and helpful depsite us being so indecisive !! - i supplemented mine with some falafel which were scrummy ! and i needed them as aubergine dish not that big or filling but tasty ! lovely ! sorry we couldnt get leeds tickets for you !and more sorry about the result !! :-(

Visited the York branch so when in Leeds we decided to grab some food here. Went for the meal deal of bowl of hummus and sides. No fuss, delicious food, good value. This will be a place to go when in Leeds.

My friend and I visited for lunch on 14/12/18. She had a hummus wrap and I had the hummus bowl deal. At the counter, I could see that all the food was pre-prepared so I expected it to arrive pretty quickly. It did not. I do not understand how it can take so long to effectively take a scoop of this, a scoop of that and put it in a bowl! Other people were grumbling that it was taking so long too. So it wasn't just me. When the food arrived it was as nice as I hoped - I was particularly impressed that the mint tea was made with fresh leaves - although there was enough hummus to warrant two pitas not just the one. The price of the deal was also very reasonable and the communal dining was a nice touch too (although might not suit some).

Had great service in Humpit - had never been before. We looked for it after reading reviews. Suited us well and the lunch deals are very good. Will definitely return !

Set in the corn exchange in Leeds, which is always a nice laid back refuge from the busy streets outside, Humpit is a great spot for stopping in for a casual meal or snack during lunch hour or at the weekend. Almost always get the mixed falafel and hummus (or houmous) pita. Healthy, generous portions and tastes great. Swing by at least once or twice a month.

Having heard a lot of positive reviews for here my friend and I decided to try it. It suited us perfectly while out shopping as service was quick and we managed to get a seat outside the venue.

I had no idea that vegetarian food could be this good. The pitta was delicious, filled with falafel, hummus, veg and salad with a chilli and a gherkin for the brave! Good value quality food, very filling, and all washed down with lovely redbush tea. I’ll definitely be back.

Got the special lunch deal. Was full after, lovely choices, great for vegans. Good service, tastey onsite made lemonade. Sat under stairs. I like corn exchange so great to eat with the bustle of what is going on.

We were looking for something for lunch and came across Humpit, in a street with several eateries all suitable for lunch.

Went for the half and half falafel and hummus - it was absolutely delicious. Went at a weekend and they were very busy so no tables and took a while to make - but otherwise very good.

Must do lunchtime spot - the Hum-In deal was amazing value and the perfect experience of tasty healthy food.

The Corn Exchange is a Grade I listed building and one of the architectural gems of Leeds City Centre (next door to another, the Kirkgate Market). Any excuse to spend longer inside this building and enjoy its atmosphere should be taken. It was therefore great to find Humpit. I had some very tasty falafels with hummus and salad at a reasonable price. All in all a good experience.

I've been pescatarian for over 2 months now and have never looked back. I just tried the classic humpit dish and it was to die for, rather tasty. It was my first time trying hummous, it's an acquired taste. The staff were friendly and it was affordable too. Fast and easy. On top of that the corn exchange has a nice seating area to chill out at.

Great food and is a quick take away, I would recommend if you are having a busy day and the location is good. Love the food here ive been here a few times. Did not even notice it on trip advisor until today but it deserves the ratings because it is lovely here. The staff are also really friendly and can also advise you on which meal is best suited for yourself.
