Yo no soy impresionado

Recomendamos Ensalada Falafel!

Three of us ate here for a quick lunch and a chat during a business meeting. Great value wraps with a wide choice of ingredients, decent range of drinks and inside seating. Delicious, filling and inexpensive. I'd happily eat there again.

Worst lunch I've had - huge dollop of sickly hummus (the woman put a huge ladle of hummus in the bottom of the pot without asking) and limited choice of toppings I just wanted some meat and salad and while I actually like hummus i don't like a bucket of it. I've actually felt sick all day and I only ate half of it.

Volveremos pronto!

The formula isn't immediately clear, a "how to order" poster might not go amiss as there is little obvious explanation and staff are used to serving tegulars who know the routine.Hummus Bros offers flatbread/pitta with hummus and a range of salads and meat and vegetarian hot toppings on display to choose from at a fixed price depending on the number of toppings. There's certainly a Levantine slant to the choices on offer, but expanded to include other influences which work well together. I had a tasty combination of guacamole, tabouleh and falafel, and washed down lunch with a home made lemonade with fresh mint.

We ordered the falafel wraps and they came with toasted pita chips. That was a lovely addition to the wraps. Hummus was nice, would have liked more of it in the wrap. Overall a good option if you don't want a greasy pub meal.

My son and I ate there last Friday evening on the spur of the moment. We both love Lebanese/Middle East food so looked forward to this. The concept is very simple - you start with a bowl of hummus then add three ingredients - in my case Tabouleh, Couscous and and Guacamole - my son had meat instead. It was served very quickly in a platic container with a Felafel. We also ordered Lemon and Mint jucie an Baklava. It all came to about £20 and was very tasty. The only issue were the staff who weren't exactly welcoming or on the ball.I can still recommend it nevertheless. Cheap, cheerful, tasty and quick

I went to Hummus bros in Exmouth market last night.I've never been to a Hummus Bros before, didn't even know they existed until yesterday rally and I'm mighty glad I traveled to get there.99% of the food they serve is gluten free...I technically should be GF but find it so hard to eat out and find tasty foods. Not here, no siree! You can choose from the whole menu, I didn't even need to stop and think 'Oh is it GF...?', yes yes it is, everything is! Hoorah.Things to definitely try: sweet potato falafel, their amazing chicken wraps, THE brownie!Helpful tip?: avoid the mushroom soup.

This is a lovely concept. Great fresh food, healthy options, good tasting options, thirst quenching drinks and a decent stylish location. I'd like having hummus as a main feature of a restaurant. Filling, healthy and tasty enough to keep you coming back again and again. I'm definitely going back

I work near this Hummus Bros and have been there quite a few times since it opened last year. I love hummus and the food is pretty good, but I've found the service a bit uneven. If you compare the service to say, Pret, it's not as good. In my experience, when you are short changed or there is an error or problem with your order at Pret, the staff will usually diffuse the situation quickly, and if they don't a manager is always on hand to step in and fix it, usually giving away freebies such as coffee or chocolate. I've never walked away from a Pret cross and I have eaten there hundreds of times. They realise that what's important is that the customer goes away happy and comes back soon. When a problem with the order occurs at Hummus Bros, in my experience the response isn't as positive as with Pret. You get the distinct impression that they don't care if you come back. I've experienced similar disappointments with Hummus Bros in Holborn so I think it must be a staff training issue. Shame, I like the food, but having given up on the Holborn Hummus Bros, I'm now thinking of giving up on the Exmouth market one as well.

it's a nice idea, and the food isn't bad, but it doesn't live up to the lunchtime competition in Exmouth Market. For £6.40, you get a dish of hummus with a couple of toppings and a lot of bread. It's ok, but it is mostly bread and hummus, and kind of stodgy. For only a fiver in the market stalls outside, you can get a much tastier, larger and better balanced lunch, from the likes of the famous Moro, or other stalls that do Mexican, hot and cold salads, Indian and more. There is a seating area with benches, so handy on a rainy day, but really not worth it otherwise.

Found this sleek, cool cafe/diner while walking through Exmouth Market. Gearing up for the lunchtime rush, I got in just ahead of the crowds and ordered a fantastic Hummus Bowl with Falafel. I sat at one of the long tables watching regulars pile in and strangers drawn in by osmosis. The service was attentive, patient but sharp. My fresh mint lemonade was excellent although a bit of a treat at £1.80 nd my food came in less than 3 minutes. Hummus was fantastic; strong, flavoursome and rich, with light and tasty falafels in fluffy pitta bread you could curl up and sleep in.

In my opinion it's a bold move to open up a 'chain' restaurant in Exmouth Market but judging by the queues it's working out and I very much enjoyed my lunch here. The hummus bros concession offers a formulaic hummus based lunch menu with a good selection of toppings to choose from to make your hummus sing and a range of sides to exchange for the standard pitta bread. There is also a small but interesting drinks menu to select from.Seating is limited and it's a fairly noisy place to sit and eat but we enjoyed it nonetheless. I had the falafel topping and the braised mushrooms, both of which were very tasty and worked well with the fairly substantial portion of hummus. I rather over-estimated my appetite when selecting regular which came with 2 pitta breads. I certainly should have ordered the small size which looked just right for a filling lunch at a fair price. It's hard to say if I'll return because frankly there are so many wonderful stalls to choose your lunch from in Exmouth Market but I won't be put off trying Hummus Bros again if I find myself in a different location with fewer lunch alternatives to distract me.

Encantador descubrimiento.
