We went as a family and had a pleasant time. I loved the food there.

Ooooo… what happened to this place? Came here a few times over the years and the food was always incredible and well worth a stop at. Milkshakes aren’t giving proper whipped cream, potentially the long life alternative. Vanilla syrup used in another shake had a disgusting taste to it. £17.95 for beef brisket which has only two small goujons and a large spoonful of beef? This was unimpressive and very bad value for money, onion rings weren’t fresh, sweet potatoe fries looked old or over cooked? Definitely not fresh. Yes service was quick, staff were pleasant, food arrived promptly, is it on a hot plate?? Overall, the food left a lot to be desired. I’m more than happy to pay the price for the food, if it’s great tasting but unfortunately today was quite rubbish. If I was in any way confrontational I would have spoke to management, however I am not. Purse is £60 lighter, food wasn’t nice. That will be the last visit for us.

Not great. The waffle and chicken stack was pretty tasteless with frozen waffles and very dry. I bronx burger was nice at £18 I'd expect it to be. Mac and cheese is vile full of garlic and not cheesy at all. Service wasn't great only 4 tables in and we were not checked on once or asked if all was OK. Will not be rushing back.

Excellent service, food were great, generous portion size. Staffs were helpful and friendly. A lot on the menu to choose from. The best bar and grill in the area. Food comes pretty quick even on a Saturday night. Great for a family dine out. Highly recommended and will definitely go again.

We called in early afternoon. The place was quite. We were greeted by a friendly staff member. The service was lovely and the food was just as nice. Everything was fresh and clean. Full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit & if in the area we wouldn't hesitate to go back...

Service was excellent food horrible my little girls chicken burger was awful dry and no flavour she couldn't eat it also the badass burger was awful like a burger you would get of a BBQ over cooked no flavour hard to eat the parmesan chips were just frozen skinny chips in a bowl with a sprinkle of cheddar and all stuck together no taste to them which means they had been sitting a while, the lasagne was awful small and the sauce in it didn't taste right even my beer tasted funny and was flat the price was terrible expensive for what we got definitely not worth the money won't eat here again no wonder the place was almost empty for a Saturday night.

For what you are paying I would have liked fresh chips not frozen ones . Pavlova was the worst I've ever had Seasonal fruit was two quarters of a strawberry a big pile of cream meringue was like the top of a lemon meringue with cream slapped on top with two bits of strawberry with a scoop of Ice cream and strawberry sauce drizzled over the top and icing and icing sugar Didn't look appealing at all I ordered fish and chips Big piece of fish sat on top of a pile of chips with a wedge of lemon on the fish with mixed herbs sprinkled all over the fish Quite frankly I would have better going next door for a fish supper

We have ate in hullabaloos several times and always it has been excellent. We ate last night on the steak night and it was absolutely amazing. The steak was delicious and it really is a huge feed

I called into this place while on route to play golf at the lovely Castlerock Golf Club. I would usually stop at a garage en route and get something from a hot food counter to eat in the car, however I was ahead of schedule so decided I would 'eat in' somewhere. I remembered seeing this place on previous trips to Castlerock, set just off the main road beside McDonalds, and thought it would be an ideal place to stop. The food was slightly dearer than I would have paid at my usual petrol station hot food counter however the quality certainly justified the extra expense. I was greeted by a very pleasant staff member who made me an equally pleasant cappuccino (so pleasant I had two). I found it a very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy breakfast while watching the rain outside, pondering my life choices. Golfing at Castlerock in the rain, bad choice. Breakfast at Hullabaloos, great choice!

It's a superb restaurant with lots of seating options, big and roomy. A great menu selection as well with decent vegetarian fare, good service too! The atmosphere is like a funky diner. 10/10

A great restaurant and great food .

Absolutely horrific Get rid of your chef before he gets rid of you. Food was cold & disgusting. The worst food I ate in a long long time. The music coming from the kitchen was so loud I had to get out of the place. Went to pay the bill and was totally ignored and asked to wait until the girl finished sending her text message? Total disgrace. As a previous restaurant manager I could have seen a million things needing done never mind standing around on phones!! Staff need to clean tables properly - when cleaning tables also clean around vinegars and brown sauce bottle the excess sauce around the bottles on almost all tables was disgusting. The general cleanliness of the place isn’t great.

American diner style decor. Good food, great service.

We waited for a few minutes while someone went to clean a table for us, despite the restaurant being less than half full. Then another staff member brought us to a different table. The menus were about A3 size pages and a lot of the print was faded, so difficult to read. All 3 of us ordered chicken strips and Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was flat and I couldn’t drink it. The chicken seemed to be one fillet cut in strips which had no taste. The chips on the top of the basket were stone cold. Absolutely horrendous and we paid £60 for the privilege. The gents toilets were not clean and the doors under the sink seemed broken. If this restaurant is number 7 in Coleraine, then I would hate to visit any of those lower down the list

Was in the other day with my husband,our first place we pick to go have been so many times and never have had a bad experience.The portions are massive you definitely get what you are paying for.My favourite is the rib and chicken the ribs are massive my husband loves the burgers.great staff aswell always so helpful!!

Even 1 star is too many!! First time eating here and what an absolute shambles! The wait time for food considering the place was empty, was a joke. Kids fish and chips which consisted of one measly fish goujon and some chips, southern fired chicken that you couldn't put a knife through not forgetting serving 8oz rump steak which should have been 16oz and not having a clue of what they had actually served. Oh and not forgetting all the foods and sauces that they ran out of at 18:30 on a Sunday evening, prime time i would have thought?! The quality of the food was absolutely atrocious, unless Iceland ding dinners. We were out for a family celebration and this just totally ruin our whole evening. I will give the manager their dues they did what they could to accommodate us and our bill was deducted but unfortunately this won't change our view of the place.

Hi there just leaving a wee review. Yesterday, (11th of April) my family (3adults, a teen, a 2yo and baby) went to have lunch in the restaurant around 12 noon. We were greeted by a young girl with dark hair (later found out her name was Cara). Can I just say, that girl is an absolute credit to the restaurant. She was so attentive, well mannered and nothing was ever too much bother. I honestly believe if all your staff are as pleasant as Cara there will be no negative reviews. Please feel free to share this recognition with Cara. Also, I had the Empire state, it was out of this world! The food was 100% perfect including the desserts. I live local and always forget about this restaurant, well not anymore! Many thanks.

Telephone booking to reserve a table, spoke with friendly staff on phone, friendly staff on arrival, booths very spacious and table clean. Didn't wait long until order taken and food arrived promptly. Food was delicious, ordered burgers mostly. Only down side was the coleslaw, very small portion, not really coleslaw more like a couple of bits of shredded red cabbage in a sauce. Aside from this would definitely return!!

We stopped here yesterday for lunch and we were so skeptical given the last handful of negative reviews. We were looking elsewhere due to this but for convenience we thought we would risk it and try regardless. I am SO glad we did. Both my partner and I had a lovely meal! It was pricier that other restaurants but you get a bigger portion so I kinda feel it’s justified. I had the rib and wing combo. Normally this is a half rack of ribs and a few wings but here I received a FULL rack of ribs and around 5 full chicken wings. This is where I see the cost being more justified. The wings were cooked beautifully and very tasty, the ribs literally melted in your mouth and bbq sauce was nice. The onion rings were the nicest I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Normally it’s all batter but here they were more onion with a light crispy batter which is exactly to my liking. Same for the fries. Both my partner and I agreed they were probably the nicest. Crisp yet fluffy inside. The coleslaw you could tell was homemade and again I loved it. My partner had the chicken burger with brisket, bacon, cheese and onion rings. I can’t remember the exact title on the menu but he really enjoyed it and the burger was packed out with filling. The last point which is probably silly to some but even the soft drinks were lovely and reasonably priced. A lot of times these days you can tell it’s watered down drink to save costs. We both had a coke and a Fanta and it was the proper stuff. It was just perfect. Service was fast. It was pretty quiet but we were there around 12.30 on Saturday. I would definitely recommend based on the 2 meals we had. Please don’t always judge by reviews as we were going to ourselves. You might just be pleasantly surprised :)

Called in after finding Hullabaloos on tripadviser and was very impressed. I had the sin city stack, everything cooked to perfection and proper peppery peppercorn sauce. The manager Corine was so welcoming and chatty. I will be a regular from now on!

Changing my review from 5 to 2 stars, went back here recently and the service was awful. Customers who came in after us were served before us, seems very expensive too £64.95 for 2 burgers 2 kids pizzas and 3 milk shakes. I've had better tasting protein shakes. I will be in no hurry back, get a better meal in Burger King for a third of the price.

We have been here twice with our 3 boys. This is a great place for young families. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The menu is good and the food is delicious. I think this will become a regular place for us to visit with the kids.

Won't be back.We stood at the door while 3 members of staff never came to us. So we left. The place wasn't even busy. My friends daughter was so upset she was looking forward to eating there.

Overpriced Burger bar . My ribeye steak was tougher than my old boots . Brought half home for the dog. Thought my wife's chicken ceasar salad looked well presented until I found out that what I thought was chicken was in fact oversized croutons . Did poor a nice pint of Guinness tho and ghe staff are nice .

Visited for a business lunch. There was plenty of seating, the menu had lots of options, service was prompt and attentive and food was delicious with ample sized portions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hullabaloos Restaurant to family, friends and business associates.

We have been eating in Hullabaloos frequently for over 3 years. Never again! We went for breakfast just after New Year and my husband hadn't downloaded his Covid passport to his new phone he got for Christmas. I had mine and I explained I'd download his, asking if I could sit down to do so. The 'manager' told us we couldn't sit down without one. We left and downloaded it in the car but her attitude has put us off eating there again. I could understand if they were busy but there were only 2 customers in the place. They subsequently refused 3 bikers while I sorted his Covid passport! Shocking experience.
