A huge choice of traditional bottled ales, cans of craft beer and cider on offer in this market stall. You can now enjoy a drink here too. This Victorian market is very atmospheric. The market closes around 5pm, so don't be late! I bought a case of Chimay Trappist ale last month and the price was fair. New fruit beers and local brews keeps the selection interesting.

Excellent value food, we had two sandwiches and two soups for £15. Staff were great and very helpful, lovely atmosphere and so cosy. We will be back for Sunday lunch xx Thank you for a lovely day x

The coffee is ok but the service is less than average. The person taking the orders had to lift herself off the counter before she served me. The coffee was slow to arrive even though there were two baristas working. Very much agree that it seems to be image over substance.

I had this restaurant booked but 4 days before they e mailed saying they were not opening on a Tuesday. As I had paid a deposit I asked them to return this as I don’t live nearby so would not be able to change the date. They assured me the deposit would be returned in 10 days! 3 weeks later and numerous ignored emails I still have not received my deposit back. Can someone sort this out and return it.

Excellent in every way. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere on a cold frosty day. Lovely open fire. Loved the brunch menu which was well cooked and substantial. It is some years since my last visit but will be revisiting very soon.

Lovely cafe with a good view if you sit upstairs. Not a large selection on menu but what there is is done well. A good size portion of food. Drinks were expensive if you want pop.
