Got the Black Forest gateau and Lemon Drizzle flavours of ice cream and they were amazing

Some of the best tasting ice cream we have ever had! The 2 young ladies who served us were polite and attentive. Queues are long as you would expect during the Easter holiday, but certainly worth the wait!

I had a waffle with two scoops of ice cream . The waffle was not fresh, the ice cream flavours poor, for this poor quality, I find it overpriced

Service was 10 out of 10 but the good ends hee sadly. We were greeted by a vile smell while visited the cafe and after a gw moments we quickly realised it was a vile and off-putting smell of poo coming for the toilet. We went to wash our hands before eating and were unable to due to the smell. The toilet door was opened and right in the middle of the eating area which is absolutely disgusting. The waffles were nice but the icecream that came with it had that old freezer aftertaste which put us off even more and we couldn't touch it. The place looks very tatty and tired the only good thing is the location.

I don’t know what it is about this place but I feel awkward going there. Maybe it’s my inner guilt telling me I shouldn’t be eating ice cream

Visited with grandchildren, v busy, huge choice of ice creams plus waffles and crepes, huge portions, v tasty, children loved it.

Lovely treats here. Rather disappointed the crepes were cold. Much prefer them warm. Staff were lovely though.

Yummy ice cream parlour with generous servings of a good selection of flavours

This place is a very good choice for gelato and desserts! From milkshakes to waffles, and crepes this place has it all and a large variety! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the establishment itself was clean, well kept, modern, and tidy! The kinder gelato and Ferrero gelato were very tasty, full of flavour and the portion sizes were very generous! I’ve had a lot of gelato and ice cream, this place is definitely where I’ve had one of the best gelatos! I can highly recommend!

Queue was long , but didn’t mind that . Took my mum today 14/10/23 around 4pm as she had not been well so thought we’d have a little walk and an ice cream . So we ordered 2 waffles with ice cream , sauce & whipped cream . Sat down & waited about 15-20 minutes before I went to investigate where are desserts were . I said excuse me to one of the girls and was totally ignored , so popped around to the little kitchen area where my order was clearly sat on the side . The girl said ‘oh yes I was just about to bring them out’ another girl literally bought them to the table , slammed them down without a single word , she was extremely rude . It goes without saying the waffles were cold . Today it appeared there was some training taking place so maybe this was the reason for the slow and unfriendly service . I shall not go in again , it was really disappointing . The staff need to be trained in customer service skills or the customers will choose somewhere else to spend their money. I did look around for someone in charge/manager to voice this with them , but no-one around , so had to put my experience on here instead .

Fantastic ice cream. I haven't eaten this good for many years. What a taste! A great place for a gourmet. Very nice service.

Visited with some friends whilst in Stratford. It was really easy to order on your mobile to the table. Waffle was lovely and warm and really yummy. Not badly priced either. Good atmosphere.

Gorgeous ice cream, so many flavours to choose from. I settled with a scoop of the cherry and a scoop of the lemon drizzle. Both were lovely. Had to queue to get in, but the ice cream didn't disappoint, so it was worth it.

Cracking gelato here. They’re super generous with the helpings which is definitely appreciated! Homely feel to the place as well - very welcoming.

Amazing gelato. Average price. Nice inside, little outside area kind of looks abandoned though. Usually a dog bowl with no water in, tables sticky. Kind of seems forgotten about by staff the few times I’ve been. Can’t fault anything else though

We've been regular visitors to Hoorays for the last 10 years and it's about time I left a review in time to wish them a Happy 10th Birthday. Hoorays have been a part of our family celebrations, helped to lift our spirits after family tragedies, they're there when we want a "well done" reward and just when we fancy a sweet treat... just because! So, what keeps us going back? Firstly... it speaks for itself... their Gelato is INCREDIBLE! The range of flavours is insane, their speciality flavours (like Star Wars, Easter and Christmas) always create a buzz of excitement. Their portion sizes are favourable and we've never had a gelato there that we haven't enjoyed. Their sorbet is pretty stonking too... especially when they do the gin flavours - well worth the trip for that alone. Secondly, the atmosphere... the space is lovely and well thought out. There is a cute courtyard garden and a really comfortable upstairs where you can chill out and enjoy your tasty treat. The staff! Honestly... some of the best serving staff in Stratford. Always friendly, always smiling and always helpful. With huge queues and people desperate to get to the frozen goodies, they keep their smiles on and make sure each visitor gets a positive experience. We are now known by name by some of them and they know our favourite flavours! They've become like family. QR ordering. Why queue when you can take a comfy seat and set about ordering via their QR system. It's superbly easy to do and food arrives quickly without any need to queue. In short... we highly recommend Hoorays to anyone who is near Stratford. (In fact, even if you're not... make the trip!! It's worth it!) Especially if you're there around Valentine's Day when their chilli chocolate gelato is on the menu - you won't regret it!!

Extensive and Attractive menu with options for your pet dog as well. The only critique was that the latte was a bit bitter, and the brownie very heavy on flour. Otherwise a good experience.

Overall good for gelato. I got the Snickers flavour and enjoyed it. Portion size was good. Mint flavour wasn't as good and cookie ice cream sandwich was a bit hard.

Strawberry indulgence waffle was expensive, took ages to make and wasn't very nice when it arrived. Presentation was awful and looked like it was slapped together and flavour was, at best, meh. Sorbet was okay

This is a favourite place of mine to visit in stratford-upon-avon. The ice cream is always very nice! It's more expensive this time than I remember it to be, approximately £10 for 2 ice creams. It did make a nice treat.

A nice cosy place, sat by the window. There were so many choices of ice cream, I got a 3 scoop cone and the scoops were so big and very generous. The ice cream tasted of very good quality and the flavours were spot on 😇😍

Big queue, not cheap but worth the wait and the price.

Good choice of ice cream flavours. Good portions. Good waffles. Busy shop. Likely to queue if visiting during the weekend with queues out the door on hot days. Not a lot of seats available inside to eat it.

Was really busy as it was a Saturday during half term but we managed to get a seat, so much selection it was hard to choose just one thing to eat, then when the two scoops arrived I assumed it was for a different table because the serving was so big. Great value. Most importantly the service was fast and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, I had to ask for Gluten Free when ordering via the app and someone came over to discuss the allergy information with me and made me feel confident that I didn't have to worry. Would definitely recommend.

Great choice of flavours. Much nicer than the plain mr whippy ice creams available from the canal basin. Can get really busy though at weekends.

Visited Stratford Upon Avon with my cousins today and randomly tried this dessert place. I have been to many dessert places, and honestly, this was the best dessert I've EVER had. Nothing was overly sweet, and everything tasted super yummy. You can tell that they put a lot of love and care into their desserts and their service. So if you're looking for an amazing dessert, then this is the place to be.

A great place to enjoy an ice cream, waffles, something sweet or just a drink. Staff seemed ok, just a bit away with the fairies, sorry but have to be honest a bit of a compromise but still a lovely little place, staff just need to engage more with the customers and be aware of their presence which would make it 5*.

The ice cream is always lovely. The staff are great, and the play area for the kids is the cherry on top. The only struggle is that they can be busy due to them being the best in the local area.

We were out for a stroll around Stratford and decided to stop in for a naughty treat, we walked in and it was very busy but we found a table and ordered! Lots of choice and we had a giggle ordering and adding our extras. A little pricy but worth the experience, only down side I would say is the seating, they have a large round table in the centre of the shop that took all the room in the shop change the lay out to rectangular tables and long benches you could triple the amount of people that you could seat. Food really good great choice and even a little area for the children. Great stop!!

Fast service, amazing selection, and just great ice cream and deserts as a whole. Must visit if you come to Stratford. Highly recommend the waffles and cute little heated outdoor space.

Portions now very small at high prices. Ice cream now level flat with top of cup. Never seen such small portions before anywhere.

Took grandkids in there. They loved it but said there was too much choice. I had coffee which was a nice blend. My daughter had Earl Grey tea. So catered for everyone. Will visit again if in Stratford.

They've cut down the ice cream portion size massively. Now serve it flush with the top of the cup. Never seen that before anywhere. Not good enough when you're charging top prices.

Visited with family, small child in tow! Lovely, patient staff, pleasant and friendly. Was quite busy but did lack a bit of atmosphere. Lots of staff and quick to clear away/clean up etc. Wide selection of gelato, which was competitively priced though £2.30 for a small mug of tea is stretching it.

Love love love this place!!!! If you haven't experienced the joy that is Hoorays, you must! With over 36 unique flavours of gelato, with waffles, crepes and a small savoury menu too, this is a great place for any time of day. It caters well to all ages with a wide variety of treats. And don't think it's just for the hot weather - their menu includes great hot chocolates for those cold winter days. Perfect for a treat all year round!

Vegan-friendly options are available but do note that due to their production process, they cannot guarantee that any vegan products are allergen-free. Recommend the black cherry chocolate if you spot it - delicious!

Fairly insipid ice cream. The pistachio and oreo options tasted the same and not much like pistachio. The place itself is a bit tatty. Try Venchi Chocolate & Gelato for real flavours and the experience.

This is low-key a spot. Right on the Highstreet, spacious inside, accommodate dogs and friendly for toddlers with a space for them to play. Staff is friendly and efficient, would work on a cuing system. The selection of ice creams is niiiice but it’s all about the cute lil garden at the back. Recommend it

Even though the young ladies where very busy, they where very welcoming and made sure they acknowledged the customers so you knew they would serve you when they could. All we grabbed was a coffee but we where tempted by the vast array of ice cream on offer and the serving sizes looked great. Tempted to go back tomorrow for an ice cream. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff for making me feel welcome when a shop down the road didn’t even say hello and left me waiting for 10 mins before I left looking for a friendlier place like here

Seemed like the busiest place in Stratford at 3.30pm on a school day! The queue was out the door! Free Tuesday toppings has the kids going wild pointing. Lovely ice cream too

Got the cookie sandwich and loaded hot brownie - ice cream chosen were the stracciatella and kinder. The hot brownie had the texture of cake and was quite dry. The cookie sandwich tasted as if it was initially undercooked, and yet had been left out for some time making it out of date. If I had to go here again I'd just stick to the ice cream.

Poor service shop busy with only two staff working the counter and the rest hanging around the back. Too much cinnamon on the classic crepes, coffee too weak which we left.

Good place but lousy service. I dont know why! because they were very nice and welcoming with the costumers before me and although they served them they took some time to decide who would serve me ?!!! Also I noticed that they give the customers before me thier orders and then asked them to pay but me!!!! When I told my order they asked me to pay first then they asked me to wait near the door and gave me different than what I wanted and at the end I had a stomach ache! All the time I was nice and smiling! The only answer for all this I think because I am wearing hijab .

Great range of flavours served by a very hardworking staff. The icecream was worth the wait. Strawberry merringue and chocolate chip were great.

Fantastic gelateria if you have children. There’s a playing area at the back of the room with toys suitable for 1-4 year olds. Great if your little ones are in the pushchair quite a lot walking around the town and you want to let them spend some energy. The gelato is good too. Good portions.
