I work around the corner and come here all the time. They always have flawless service and their cocktails are simply the best + the 2 for £12 happy hour <3 Couldn’t recommend enough!

We left within 10mins of recieving our shisha as it was really bad. we didn't even bother asking for our money back. On the positive side, staff were friendly.

Stopped off at hookah lounge after dinner with friends. The deco is definitely knackered. We ordered alcoholic drinks. It was a bit pricey but not out of the ordinary for the area. I ordered a bmw - baileys whiskey and Malibu-which was ok but came with big blocks of ice. When I went to pay, it was more than what it stated on the menu. I asked why this was and was told it was a service charge. I only discovered afterwards that he did not charge others in my group this. Fair much???

Disgusting place that lacks all COVID-19 safety regulations. The staff had disgusting attitudes and were rude and never gave us back our change. The place is small and cramped and smells funny. They whole entire place is dirty and the toilet is the horrendous. Staff were so rude try to over charge us multiple times. The place was unclean and and unsanitary, food is disgusting and cocktails are even worse. Don’t get a frozen margarita you’ll regret it. Never come here, should be closed down for a number of violations.

Ducked in for a tea and some baklava last week, a welcome respite from the crowds. Atmospheric (dark red) lighting and sumptuous cushions make this an ideal haven for a casual catch-up in the heart of trendy Brick Lane. Opted for the Persian tea, which was flavourful, citrussey and slightly sweet - exotic, but not as full-on as a cup of spicy chai, it was refreshing and warming. Ordered a portion of baklava which was delicious - 2 pieces for £1.60 represented good value for this tasty treat. One was stuffed full of pistachios and both were soaked in honey. Very satisfying. It is a short distance from the famous Brick Lane bagel bakery so you could try both if visiting the area. A nice place for couples, friends or you could go alone and not feel too conspicuous.As the name suggests, this is a hookah bar so expect people to be lazily hookah-ing away, there is a variety of pipes and flavourings, however the smell wasn’t really noticeable. This would be a good place to take a relative visiting from a remote part of the UK as it is ‘different’ enough to make it interesting, not least for social media pictures. All the teas cost around £3.99

We went there super excited to have some nice Lebanese food and shisha. The shisha is electric instead of charcoal which already was disappointing. Hummus and tzatziki I’m sure was bought in Tesco and garnished with some paprika. Batata hara was microwaved. Mourdardara also heated in the microwave. Tiny portions that are overpriced. Cocktails aren’t good either. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The service wasn’t good either. Really disappointing. Not coming back.

Hookah lounge is a relaxed little place with a cozy vibe however, the electric shisha they serve is not enjoyable. The actual taste of the shisha is amazing but it is nothing like the traditional coal shisha. It does not last as long, does not pull as easy and feels completely weird. Perhaps my friends and I are just used to the traditional shisha but we paid 20 pounds for a shisha and smoked it for about 10 to 15 minutes max. Other than that, the cocktails and tea was good and it was a calm and chilled place to hang out.

We needed a light lunch and popped into the Hookah Lounge. It's lovely - very small, delicious food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

We needed a break and tea so this just Hookah lounge arrived at the right time on a Sunday afternoon and a busy market . We ordered a masala tea with milk and a Persian tea with saffron . We could hear the guy pounding the spices together behind the counter and he arrived with 2 small pots and cups and told us to let it brew . The teas were lovely my Persian one rich and refreshing and after a bit of time relaxing and people watching we went on our way to see more of the market . We visited this place again one evening and enjoyed the teas once again .

Electronic Sisha only. Very friendly staff. Bit small in size with limited options. Easy to get to via walking, taxi or uber.

I really enjoyed myself at this venue, it was such a different vibe from everywhere else that I have been to in the area plus a welcome drop-in after a busy day. Good service, which was quick, laid back vibe with no-stress just what the doctor ordered. Comfortable too! I ordered an enjoyable cappuccino latte drink which was served hot and in authentic hooka lounge crockery to maintain a consistent theme. I would certainly visit again.

The first time I went there, myself and my friend were served by a very friendly German girl, who made us amazing tea - I had the Kashmiri, my friend a cherry one. Was about the best tea I've ever had, ditto my friend. Proper ingredients made expertly. £3.50 isn't cheap for a tea but this was well worth it. The next time I went (with the same friend) we ordered the same teas - this time there was an middle aged gentleman serving (no sign of the German girl). The teas this time were nothing like the first even though they were made using the same raw materials - the teas tasted as if they were made using cheap teabags. I can only assume that a) the raw materials were past there best and/or b) the person isn't making them properly So we both went again yesterday, saying beforehand that this one needs to be like the first time, otherwise we ain't coming back. No sign of the German girl (most probably left), this time we were served by a young Asian chap. Unfortunately the teas were like the second visit - in fact the tea my friend had was like drinking hot water, with a hint of a supposed cherry flavour. So unfortunately that's it with this place..........

I called in advance to book.. got there and they had given the table away. No remore or any sort of customer service. I asked ro speak to the boss but the waiter didnt wouldnt comply. Avoid this place at all costs

Came with my friends last Saturday. The waiter was lovely and really welcoming. We ordered drinks and the electric sheesha. All really enjoyable, clean, and just really nice atmosphere. It's created great memories and would definitely go back :)

I went here with my partner during a trip to London and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. We also found the pricing to be extremely reasonable given the area. We had one shisha pipe, 2 cocktails and 2 beers and our overall bill was £29 which was much less than we were expecting. The cocktails were also tasty and well made. I will certainly visit this place again when I'm next in London.

Food was just OK...Service was pretty slow as it was just one guy running around serving a pretty busy place even though it was quite late at night.Doubt we'll bother returning.

Wir zogen zu dritt durch London, als uns die Lust auf eine Shisha nach dem Essen kam. Google zeigte erstaunlich wenige (3 oder so) Ergebnisse für eine Millionenstadt und so kamen wir in die Hookah Lounge. Es stellte sich heraus, das hier E-Shishas geraucht werden, da in London das Rauchen in der Gastronomie absolut verboten ist. Da kann natürlich die Hookah Lounge nichts für, aber es ist eben doch nicht dasselbe.Wir saßen im Endeffekt ungefähr zwei Stunden dort, "rauchten" eine E-Shisha und tranken leckeren Tee. Die Athmosphäre ist gut, der Tee auch. Die Preise sind halt London...E-Shishas allerding werde ich in Zukunft meiden. Es ist einfach nicht dasselbe.

Went there with a friend today and had a wonderful time. They make the best mojitos and they are reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Wanting to have shisha while in London, we found Hookah Lounge online and nearby, when we arrived it was busy which we thought was a good sign. I went to the till to be greeted and shown where to sit but the customer service was poor, the conversation between me and the staff member was very quick and consisted of 'can sit there, take the menus'. Once we sat down it took a very long time for our order to be taken however it was busy so I can understand why but the customer service could have been better. Once the shisha arrived it was very nice however compared to other shishas that we have had but we found it hard to inhale and not very smooth, I'm not sure whether it was just our shisha or just how they do it but we were disappointed. Overall there is potential for the place to be really good but they just need to improve their customer service and serve a better quality shisha.

Lovely cocktail bar staff but the location is quite unfortunate. My sister and myself were harassed by 6 guys who wanted us to touch their back sides. Bar staff were too passive to deal with it. We obviously told them go away, but that was that end of it. British men need to be more manly. Women need respect otherwise it is equality and racism and homophobia are totally okay. As a lovely bar, I would hope that you would defend any vulnerable minority.

We visited this place last month for Saturday brunch, It was a really beautiful sunny afternoon. The decor is really cool and we ordered a cold mezze sharing plate for two. The food was so so tasty and the service was great. Considering it was only one guy running the place he couldn't of been nicer. The wine I ordered was really nice too.I would highly recommend this place!

On Saturday night we were around Brick Lane and I was craving to have a shisha, so we found on internet nearest hookah lounge, and we found this one. When we arrived i`ve realised they serve only electronic shisha, but we gave it a go, and surprisingly i really enjoyed it as well as friendly atmosphere and amazing Moroccan mint tea, almond coffee was great too! I`ve paid 17 pounds for everything. Place is really simple, small but has a soul. Will definitely recommend this place for evening chill.

Cocktails are second to none and the service is fantastic, especially from the delightful Polish waitor. Will definitely be back!

Called in on a Friday evening, had coffee and cake, all good. We found the staff laid back and relaxed but very helpful. The atmosphere was vibrant, lots of people smoking shisha, enjoying themselves.

Greeted with a big smile by the waitress who was nice enough to explain some of the drinks to us which she then went on to make. One of the other members of staff was playing what we later found out to be traditional Cretan music, which really suited the overall vibe of the bar. After meeting the guy, he explained that he s trying to raise money for medical aid in Gaza so you can probably catch him be playing every weekend. Good affordable food, great drinks, friendly staff, live music and always a nice chilled out atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit ! ! !

I went to the Hookah Lounge last Friday evening and ended up staying for the duration. The atmosphere is really second to none, in my opinion, for this type of bar in London. It’s supremely relaxing, an escape from reality, a place where soft cushions, music and people collide. The place is beautifully decorated according to the Lebanese theme and is just so comfortable and welcoming I felt like it was my own living room. When I arrived, one of the bartenders was playing an oud, a traditional middle-eastern instrument, raising money for medical aid in Gaza. This is the kind of thing that sets this place apart. The bartenders are all really friendly and what’s charming to see is that they clearly have a great time working there. When I came in and ordered my first drink, I was greeted by the most beautiful smile I have ever seen, from the waitress, and she proceeded to make me a drink that she had recommended. Another of the bartenders is a young Polish guy who’s absolutely hilarious, particularly when flirting with a gaggle of semi-drunken middle-aged women! Later on, they got pretty busy and the place had a really special buzz. I found myself meeting some interesting people, as we all just kicked back with the music and delicious drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Myself &amp; two friends went for some food &amp; tea. The food was average although ok for the price as it is cheap. However my complaint really is about the service. The waitress forgot one of our a mezzo dishes &amp; looked at me as if I was from Mars when I asked for it. After we finished eating they just seemed to stare at us for a long time, no one asked if we wanted for drinks or if we enjoyed the food. In fact they barely acknowledged us full stop &amp; it all seemed like a lot of hassle to the staff. We decided to have pots of tea &amp; when my friend asked for a specific one the waitress snapped they don't do it. My friend replied that last time she was here the waiter gave her tea that was very similar to an Earl Grey, &amp; did she know what it was? Again, we just received a curt 'no'. So we paid &amp; left &amp; went somewhere else for tea &amp; Baklava. Overall I felt that the staff are more interested in standing around looking cool that serving their customers are being helpful. Wouldn't go again.

Had a lovely evening which is unexpected for a tuesday! Myself and my boyfriend both enjoyed a lovely cocktail and some of their lovely teas. The bar was charming with some intricate live music playing which really fit the theme of the place. The young lady behind the bar was charming, informed but informal and made us delicious drinks and halloumi sandwiches, it really was service with a smile. This establishment has real character and a great vibe I will defiantly return!

We walked in quite late in the night expecting to smoke shisha as the name suggest, everyone was smoking inside and outside without regard for law but thats not the point if my complaint. We asked for a shisha menu which any half respecting shisha establishment has, in return we were met with a bar manager smoking cigarettes behind a bar (health and safety?) and looked seriously high saying sorry we dont do shisha's, and having a weird giggle about it. I could have stood my ground and argued with him but honesty it was hot, the place had no aircon, most people in it were drunk and the shishas didnt look very clean, decided to save myself a potential sti in the mouth as well as verbal aggro by what looked to be a high manager / bar tender and just walk away. P.s. He actually told me closest shisha place i can goto and get served was in clapham, you decide on the state if mind of such people behind these establishments!

I came here last night and received a terrible service. My partner and I ordered two cocktails, a margarita and an espresso martini which were both disgusting. I have been a bartender for the past five years and have worked in bars such as Nobu berkely st. I understand this bar would never be up to that standard, and that every bar has its own way of creating a classic cocktail however these were genuinely awful. My margarita was not shaken properly or strained, it had lime segments floating around and crushed ice in it. This is after I had taken the first one back because I had asked for no salt twice but still received a salt rim. The espresso martini had milk in it and no actual espresso. both were not balanced at all. The owner or manager (not sure could have just been mature) was outside getting high off ballons and the young bartender had been on his phone texting when I ordered and also smoking sheesha when others stood and waited to order... so its no wonder it was so bad. The staff were unprofessional on all levels. Fun times are for the end of the shift!I took the second margarita back after attempting to drink it, was very polite but the mature bartender had a go and told me its what it is supposed to taste like and that I just want a dressed up cocktail (rather patronisingly) I told him i have been in the industry a long time and that it was just bad all round. I will never come here again to waste my money ever. one of the worst bars I've been to...perhaps it could have been better if the staff were up to scratch.

I came here to smoke a Sisha, you know with coal on top and tobacco inside.. ..they gave me a £12 e-cigarette. I sent it back when I realized it didn't even contain nicotine. In all fairness; I didn't have to pay for it, but he could have warned me when I ordered the double apple Sisha. I was kind a surprised when I realized I was supposed to suck down water vapour for £12.Apparently Sishas aren't allowed on Brick Lane anymore, so I bet The Hookah Lounge will be suffering quite a lot due to this, since this used to be a popular place to smoke real Sishas!+1 from a health perspective..-1 for not having Sisha..

We went here just for drinks, not for food, and were definitely satisfied with our visit. The range of teas on offer was simply phenomenal! The decor was beautiful as well, very middle eastern decorated with lamps and brass. The only downside was the waitress, who couldn't give us any information on the different drinks apart from what was written in the menu, was slow to greet us, and even slower to serve us our drinks (I think she forgot for awhile!). However that range was enough for us and the atmosphere was nice and chilled so it was a pleasant experience

We used to have tea here before moving to a restaurant for lunch- always good and exotic! We tried a few mezze last weekend and they were all good.. esp the patatas bravas. Yum! and the portion was huge as well..

Hot hot day, pounding the street, and here was the little oasis. Front window open wide , ceiling fans and velvet cushions, gorgeous food, cooling iced mint tea and relaxing music.......people watching from the best seats in the place and honestly I had to be forced to leave by my husband. Lovely.

The place is small but extremely well kept with Arabian style and decor. The big windows were open to the hustle and bustle of brick lane. The chicken curry was good and fair priced around 7.50, not huge portions. The service was good though and they kindly provided real wifi for customers not the fake o2 and BTwifi one where you anyway need a phone number and uk address.

Looking for somewhere to have lunch on Brick Lane thought we might end up with Bangladeshi food but came upon The Hookah Lounge. Very atmospheric with deliciously authentic food. They'd run out of apple tea so recommended Persian Orange tea, it was gorgeous. The vegetarian mezze was good too, as were the lamb meatballs. Spent a very relaxed lunch in this oasis of calm. My only criticism is the cleanliness of the loo, again evocative of a middle eastern bazaar but way too dusty and grim for my liking and if your lax with the state of the loo ....?

The Hookah Lounge is so so relaxing, it feels strange when you leave &amp; enter the bustle of London.. The Brick Lane area has changed so much over recent years &amp; this place is a gem in the middle of it. Can't fault it, the well thought out Middle Eastern food &amp; genuine smile from the staff. It's got the balance just right, not in your face, but so welcoming. I went with my wife on a Thursday evening, our initial thoughts was to go for a curry, but we made the right choice.The comfortable bijou feel to it is spot on, perfect, without the feel that they are trying too hard.. I would say it's a MUST TRY place to chill &amp; dine, not too expensive.

Me and My Partner went here for a coffee today - A tad pricey - But It worth every penny. SO SO relaxed. Hope to go there again ASAP x
