Poor customer service. Spent £40 on food and didn’t even receive it. Cancelled my order before they started making it and they claimed they will refund me on Just Eat but they haven’t. We explained on the phone the situation and the worker was very rude and was not listening to anything we was saying. We did not get our money back or any food. Scam

Appalling customer service. Got shouted at down the phone because we wanted our food or a refund and they gave us neither after calling us stupid. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Best Chinese in Beeston! Won’t ever order from another Chinese. We’ve been to each and every one, Hong Kong House is miles ahead. Staff are so polite, food is top tier!! Can’t comment on delivery as we always collect. Will always recommend Hong Kong House!

Fantastic Special Chow Mein! Perfect blend of tender noodles, succulent chicken, beef, and shrimp with crisp veggies in a savory sauce. Thai Red Curry was spot on – creamy, spicy, and rich. Overall, excellent! Highly recommend to friends and family.

I recently tried the takeout from this restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was not only delicious but also arrived piping hot and well-packaged. Recommend special chowmein and special curry👍🏻👍🏻

Ordered a meal for 4 and a couple of other items. Literally no fault to find. Was delivered fast and still hot all the way to Clifton through Friday rush hour (17:30) traffic, portions were huge and very tasty. No grease, not even the chow mein. Will defo come order from here again 👍

Go across the road to the one opposite as Hong Kong house is greasy the staff rude no meat odd prawn 🍤 if you lucky 🍀 don’t waste your money !!!!

The worst Chinese food I ever had! Absolutely unbelievable that something like this could be served to people! Even my cat could not eat the unrecongnisible hard pieces of something which suppose to be a duck... Not tasty food, full of bread and hard unedible vegetable..

Worst Chinese ever, order takeaway paid cash in delivery. Prawns (in batter)were an absolute disaster, clearly not fresh, special curry was full of mushrooms, one prawn and old meat sauce was so thick and clearly not fresh. 5 mins in and were both violently sick. GIVE THEM A WIDE BIRTH!

Pretty good Crispy Lemon Chicken with Salt & Pepper Fries......👍👍. Only trouble is there was too much in quantity for me....!! Lol.... There was enogh for 2 people - mind you price was £9.90p....!!! So, prices have deffo gone up......

I have order many meals from here & it's always being fine however tonight's meal was not pleasant. Either the chef forgot he'd already salted the barbecue sauce or he has purposely increased the amount he puts in cos it was inedible

Been going to Hong Kong House for many years. Sadly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Horrible processed chicken, not very nice sauces. Just not the quality we're used to - based on 2-3 visits over the last few months. We'll give it one more try and then we may have to find ourselves a new Chinese takeaway.

Just had our second takeaway from here this week and I can't get enough. The combo dishes are massive, the veg duck starter is amazing, everything is totally delicious, there's more choice than we know what to do about, and the value is bonkers. Cannot recommend enough.

Just had my first meal from this establishment and can honestly say the food was very well cooked and very tasty!!

Ordered a meal to be delivered from here. Was quoted a time but after several phone calls being told on the way, 5 mins away this was not the case 2 hours later the food turned up. We were past eating by then. This meal was ordered following a previous meal which was delivered late and cold. We had given them a second chance as the service had been good before. No-one apologised or cared that first meal was cold. Second time no-one was bothered but got a call from a lady called Janet/Jeanette who didn't really apologise but offered a free dish with next order. Called tonight to order and was told that was not the case but could have a derisory discount or possibly a little more begrudgingly if we collected. Poor customer service in fact rude stating they had not offered a free dish! I do not like being doubted they definitely offered a free dish. Will not be ordering from them again due to their attitude

Rang up for a collection today and repeated my ordered to the man over 3 times as he kept repeating it back to me wrong then he said he got it, got to the Chinese and was handed the wrong order so I had to wait another 20 minutes for it to then be brought out in the wrong dish so I explained this to him which in response he said that it’s not the wrong dish and i was wrong.Then he went in to the back and messily thrown it in to the other dish and when I got home it was still the wrong order and it was not presented how it should be!

Been a few times food is great.

Usually quite good but after waiting one and a half hours for my order I rang to ask where it was only to be told its not even been cooked yet!

Have been a few times recently when my usual Chinese was closed. Its been great every time, worth going a little further for.

The food was lovely, a lot of choice - I went for the special chow mien and the portion was big for the price! The lady was helpful and did not rush me when I was choosing one of the 300 dishes! Will come back again :)

I went to this Chinese and ordered £38 worth of food including won ton and it was literally deep fried filo pastry with no filling. I called and politely asked for a refund for this dish and was happy to bring it back to show them my issue. The lady was extremely rude saying that it was filled with chicken and I didn't need to bring the dish back because she works there so knows what it is. I had paid £4 for a few pieces of oily pastry so insisted that a refund would be the appropriate solution. The lady flat out refused but said I could have discount for next time. When I continued to ask for a refund, she hung up on me.I then drove back to the take away, the lady left £4 on the desk and then walked in to the back of the kitchen. I was given no apology and was made to feel I had done something wrong. Considering the times we are in, you would think that people would be kinder to each other.We had been there before and we would probably have gone there again as the rest of the food was decent but we have now been completely put off by the service and dreadful staff.

The worst chinese takeaway i've ever had! the chicken curry paste was sooo dark and salty and the complaints process was the worst. I used to go to hong kong house many years ago but the standards have massively dropped with every dish ordered. Save your money and go elsewhere!

La decisión de buscar comida china en un área desconocida un lunes por la noche fue probablemente nuestro error básico. Se cerraron varias comidas para llevar, pero el menú de esta parecía aceptable. Las instalaciones estaban limpias y luminosas y el servicio impecable. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos a nuestra casa de comida fue muy decepcionante. Algunos de los wontons no tenían literalmente relleno, y parecían estar hechos con pasta filo en lugar de envoltorios de wonton. El pollo en salsa de naranja tenía un sabor muy extraño, y los fideos de Singapur no tenían su sabor característico. Mi calamar sal y pimienta era casi adecuado. En general, muy decepcionante.

Food was ok, but a little pricey

Finally, I have found a good Chinese takeaway in Beeston! Ordered from here 5 times now and each meal has been delicious. The vegetarian options are great and the portion sizes are perfect.

I never use any other chinese takeaways. I would highly recommend Rising Dragon, the food is always fresh,hot and cooked to perfection and we have never had to wait more than half an hour for delivery. The driver is always very pleasant and polite. Very good value and really good portions. My personal favorite and highly recommend is the mushroom chop suey.

Have been coming here since 2009 and throughout the years has been the best Chinese in Nottingham. Always authentic, fresh and good value with friendly service.

By far the best Chinese. Food is fantastic alot of selection and reasonably priced. I would recommend the spicy crispy beef in honey sauce. Yum :)

Można wybierać i przebierać w proponowanych daniach :-) Można też liczyć na pomoc właścicielki, gdy ogrom potraw i mnogość kombinacji spowoduje paraliż decyzyjny... Polecam zdecydowanie. Hong Kong House - Rising Dragon to jedna z najlepszych knajp typu takeaway w okolicy.

Have used Hong Kong house on a fairly regularly basis,and had some nice food.but won't be having any more food from them after tonight chicken chow Mein as been changed and was very salty,sweet sour chicken balls vertically all batter and sauce in mushrooms thick and gloopy menu in the bin

Waited over an hour and a half for Chinese from this place. Phoned them three times in this time and they insisted each time that they were on their way, even though we are less than a 10 minute drive away. They never offered us any money off or free food to compensate. We have ordered from them at least five times before and every time the order has been wrong!! When the food eventually arrived it was cold! I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone and will not be ordering from them again!!

La comida es muy buena y vale la pena la espera guarderías que en más comida para llevar chinos pero en nuestra última visita, las tortitas faltaban de pato aromático que implicaban yo tener que volver. Esto no fue atendido por el personal y me lo pensaría dos veces antes de volver.
