Two hours since we ordered and still no sign of it! It's just Chinese food, doesn't take long to cook it ffs

Excellent Food ,Freshly Prepared and not Greasy

Stayed just down the road at a hotel, have previously used / eaten from here before, But this time had Singapore rice noodles( oh my god,best I've ever eaten honestly) sweet n sour chicken balls, as we know these can be greasy, etc, but chain these were lush. Batter fully cooked, not stodgy, moist chicken inside. mushroom rice & beef n mushroom ,both my partner had, & again was very very tasty. Not overly salty, Will definitely eat again & suggest to you all, go try it. 10/10

Foods okay . I like the salt and pepper chicken but I ordered crispy chilli beef and it taste like an over cooked crispy crunchy king prawn! Like it’s been fried with king prawns or something which not to happy about as now I can only eat the sauce with my rice. Probs wont order again again as the last time I ordered a chicken dish , tasted like it had been boiled and was super tasteless

Great takeaway last night, not my usual one but just eat offered me a great discount, food was delivered on time and it was hot and tasty.

Ordered a takeaway of special fried rice special chow mein and crispy beef plus chips. Delivery was pretty quick, nowhere near as long as estimated and delivery woman was friendly and cheerful. I won't give my opinion of the crispy shredded beef as it is my wife that likes it.To me it could be crispy shoelaces or twigs you would not know the difference .But that seems to be the same in other takeaways Now the fried rice and noodles meals. There was a good portion of beef pork chicken prawns in both the fried rice and the noodles but both the rice and noodles were over cooked in fact the rice was like rice pudding,there were no where near enough noodles and neither meals had any taste apart from the flavour of the pork so it was what would have been a lovely meal if the rice and noodles had not been overcooked and it had had some sort of flavour.Oh and the chips were undercooked. All in all a waste of about £25.00 + tip as most of it ended up in the bin . Needless to say we won't be eating from there again.

Been using these guys for years and always get lovely food each and every time, the staff are very friendly and kind. Great little business and would highly recommend if in the area. Keeps well for the next day also, if you’re like me and order too much. You have lunch sorted ✅ Cheers guys

One of the best Chinese takeaway around

Very tasty take away! The vegan chicken is so nice, especially the vegan chicken satay skewers. We had an issue with our first order so they kindly gave us a free dish the next time we came in. All of the dishes were perfect the second time.

Absolutely appalling service! I will never use them again! Phoned at 17:26, placed a £40 order and told be with us in about an hour. At 19:02 we call them for an update and immediately asked to “hold a moment”. Phone is placed on the counter and for 10mins we sit listening and ignored/forgotten while the lady takes other orders, the other phone rings and is ignored, and then the staff all start talking about other things!! I phone back again (once they finally put the phone back on the hook!) and ask where our order is, then (i assume) the boss/manager comes to the phone and says our delivery “left 10-15mins ago… should be here soon, its busy”, etc. Another 35mins go by (takes no more than 20mins to get to us from that area), still no food. I call back at 19:39 and they cant even listen to my address properly to check what the hell is going on. They tell me it might still be getting made and will check!! While they are passing me pillar to post, talking to each-other in the background, my partner gets a call from them to say “the roads are closed, have tried 4 different ways”, curious how they called after I have been on hold complaining, waiting for an answer! Cancelled order, disgusting level of service and bear face lied to us at least twice! my partners bday treat for dinner absolutely ruined and my poor kids have had to make do with a sandwich and milk for dinner because they were so hungry and tired!! Thank god never paid up front with card! Do not bother with this place!

Absolutely delicious! Ordered a variety of meals and were all great. They were able to deliver to us even though we’re outside the catchment area so will be ordering from them again. Lovely people and great food!

The food took so long. Delivered half hour after the initial hour delivery time. Food was bland. Salt and pepper chips tasted nothing like salt and pepper. Satay chicken was weird. No free prawn crackers despite £60 order. Honestly would not recommend. The duck was all cut up in chunks like to take it off the bone myself so it's shredded.

Too expensive....have found a good much cheaper chinese. They dont do delivery so i dont pay extra to subsidise lazy people.

Food uncooked and cold, chips were hard like they had reheated yesterday's, disgusting meal, our dinner was ruined food went in the bin

This has to be the worst food I have ever tasted the chips were stale the chowmein looked like it had been cooked last week and smells rancid.

Food isn’t great, tried lots of different local Chinese after ours closed down and this is probably the worst, chow mein is so dry and rice is dry and bland.

Saturday night take away treat & the only Chinese in Hastings to use. Mushroom chow mein & green pepper/onion fried rice. Tasty, generous portion, piping hot and delivered right on time. Thanks again!

Amazing vegan chicken, excellent texture. Came with lovely fresh crunchy onion and green pepper. My only criticism is that there wasn’t much black bean sauce, but not a big enough deal to knock a star off. Also fantastic and large portion of prawn toast. New favourite.

This is the worst Chinese we’ve tasted . The chow mein had very thick noodles and tasteless . The chicken balls batter was soft not crispy . Worst of all was the egg fried rice, hardly any egg and the rice was all in clumps and sticking together . Really awful meal plus arrived luke warm . Never again will we order from them, first and last time

First time purchasing food from here, must say the food quality is absolutely horrible, ordered few different items and they're all just as bad as other, wouldn't class this as Chinese.

I can't fault Hong Kong garden. Been to loads of places and think this is the best. Generous portions. Piping hot. Good service.

Recently called and ordered. The lady on the phone was lovely and couldn't do more to help us. But please be aware they only take cash payment. So once we had searched around for the cash we were £3 off which they were happy to let us off. Delivery came in 40 minutes like they said it would. The food wasn't the best, and the items ordered didn't taste like they should. but then everyone has their own favourite Chinese.

We can tell that the chef has changed, our favorite noodles were not the same as it use to be. Disappointed.

Food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Dropped in to collect, so no wait for delivery. Order was ready when I was told it would be.

Delivered rotten food and very rude and argumentative when I called to complain. Have reported to food standards agency. Genuinely the chicken in the dish I received was grey, rancid and smelled awful.

I am absolutely shocked by the quality of the food. Normally use another but just eat had 20% off so thought I would give it a try. Waste of £50. I’m stunned and honestly the four of us haven’t even finished our meals, binned it. Worst takeaway in meal ever. Not sure if it’s because we ordered before opening but won’t be trying it again.

I'm still 'shielding' so ordered a takeaway via Just Eat. The delivery was approximately 15 minutes late but it was no big deal, and this was a Saturday evening so I expect they were busy. Once it arrived the food was decent enough. I had Lamb with ginger and spring onion, egg fried rice with spring onion and a curry sauce. At a little under £15 it wasn't particularly cheap but they were reasonable sized portions. I would probably use them again as an occasional 'treat'.

Waited 2 hours after messaging through just eat, told it would be half hour, rang them told it would be a minmum of 40 minutes, when questioned was told could be longer waiting for delivery then after more questions I found out my order was just sitting there, also had to chase to have money refunded, will not use again, probably just aswell most reviews say how bad the food is so..... Guess it was just aswell

I ordered a family meal at 17:40 and was given a 19:15 delivery (1 hour 35 mins). At 19:45 I started trying to contact the restaurant but was unable to get through this continued until 20:15 when I finally gave up and the order was cancelled. This place really needs to get its act together, or change management, as they really do not know how to treat customers.

We ordered two hours ago and have still not received our food. This was for a birthday celebration! Tried to phone but strangely hey are constantly engaged. How greedy to take so many orders you obviously can’t fulfill! Terrible!

We ordered on Just Eat and got a delivery time an hour away. We were nearly at the time when it said it had been delayed 10 minutes. They missed the delayed time by 10 minutes. Not as delayed as some reviews but they need to sort it. Food - we had a mixed curry and a mixed Chop Suey. Both were OK with lots of various meat. The rice was large.

Placed order at 7pm delivery due at 8:20pm 8:45 order still not arrived, now being told delivery will be 9:15.... will not be using this restaurant again

We were promised that they would look into it and get back to us....no phone call was returned. We then called again where we were told the order has been remade. I asked to be compensated where they told me that they would give us some free drinks. This was then to be redacted as the the driver had already left. I was also told that the old order (now freezing cold and sat by the door) should be given to the driver when they attend. It’s now 811pm and here we are still waiting. I used to use this place a lot, I’m afraid we no longer will be. They have been reported to just eat. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT YOUR FOOD ON TIME!!!

after a really bad indian on Friday night that had to be thrown in the bin, went on a recommendation from someone outside KFC (asked where is the best place to order chinese from we are not local) he said here so went with it! Ordered on just eat. Delivery on time to a local caravan site, was fresh and hot and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Worst take away ever. My fried quid was not fried but tasted like rubber. When phoned, instead of apologising, we were told that fried actually means stir fry and we ordered the wrong thing. Chicken and duck tasteless, special fried rice was just rice with veg and meat on top, no flavour. The only edible thing s were the rice and the crackers that surely came from a packet. Last but not least, sea weed is just kale.

First ordered from here many years ago. Started off well, but over the years declined. This time was the last straw. Food was inedible. Unless you enjoy eating, tyres passed off as squid and chicken you could use as a squash ball avoid at all costs. Paying £40 for a takeaway and getting a meal a homeless person would turn their nose up at is far from acceptable. Phoning up and complaining only ended up with being offered a 'free' main next time. NEXT TIME? Surely times like these you would ensure quality is at it's best? Not these guys. Avoid!

What a waste of time this place is. Ordered via online service at just after 7 to be told the food would be delivered by 20:30. It is now 21:55 and nothing, cannot get through to restuarnt and order now says 'Delivered'! We have now asked for the order to be cancelled. Thankfully no money had changed hands....

I can't comment on the quality of the food, though reviews seem not positive. Ordered food, the order was accepted and confirmed, and 35 minutes later we were called to say that they couldn't deliver and could we pick it up, which was impossible. It was almost impossible to cancel the order with them as they wouldn't give up on the idea that we could pick it up. I stressed that they shouldn't accept orders if they knew they couldn't deliver them. We were offered a 15% discount. To what end?

Man this place is an absolute joke. Our food was an hour late but honestly we wished it had never arrived. Food was tasteless and of poor quality. Avoid this place, it is really really bad.

We've always gone to this Chinese and we've never had a problem but last night was a joke. I know It was New Years but omg. We ordered food at 6:30pm through Just Eat and It said It'd be with us at 7.05pm and It didn't arrive till 9:50pm, no discount or money back either. Luckily the food was still hot and good but In the future, If you can't keep up with orders then you should just only accept a certain amount. Last night put us off and by the time food came we weren't hungry anymore. If you want food, better just go In and order and wait. Probably be a lot faster that way. I would recommend but just don't do delivery.

What a joke. Have been using for a long time but last two orders and now tonight have been over 2hrs late. Cant get hold of them as engaged. Now says closed. Complete joke. Will be going elsewhere now.

Pricing very fair.All food was very tasty.Will say the red thai curry and king in satay sauce were very SPICY. One of my kids tried to eat it but it was just too spicy. Not that it is a bad thing but would of been nice to know.Chips I will say are poor and completely tasteless.Other than that collected the food in 20mins and was nice and fresh.

Ordered from here a few times. Normally really good. Ordered a small order this time so I think we were put bottom of the list arrived late in a sweaty bag I guess had been sitting around a while. Food was good chow mien bit flavourless compared to usual. Having said all this I will give them another go.

Decided to collect rather than wait 1 hr or so, food was waiting when I got there, 20 mins after ordering. Food was hot and tasty.

Food arrived 90 minutes from ordering and so 15 minutes late. The food was warm not hot The stir fried vegetables were so bland I had to add soysauce to give it some flavour The banana fritters were soggy and mushy with next to no honey/syrup ate 2 pieces and threw the rest away. Prawn crackers were good As was the crispy seaweed Over all an expensive disappointment of a meal.

The only downfall for me was the popcorn chicken was over cooked so we didn't eat that tbh, and the chicken sweet corn soup wasn't as thick as normal was more water based but still ok ish but everything else as always was great piping hot food

ordered at 7.10, with a delivery time of 8.10, which I expected on a Saturday evening. My food arrived at 9.15, after a phone call to the restaurant I was reassured I would be next. The food was hot and was good quality, but with a two hour wait for delivery I am not overall impressed.

We tend to order lots of starters, dumplings, crispy shredded beef, prawn on toasts, dimsum mostly, and we spread it all out on a huge platter and tuck in. Everything we order is delicious, it arrives piping hot, and if you need to speak to the restaurant, they are courteous and very helpful Four thumbs up from us!

Most disgusting Chinese food I’ve ever had. Had 2 hairs - one in each dish, food was bland anyway... had to send the food back and was given a hard time even trying to get a refund ... when there’s 2 black hairs clearly in the food (none of us had black hair so wasn’t ours) Would recommend you stay away from this place. vile.

Lovely food - the only chinese restaurant I’ll order from!

Food was of an average standard, nothing was better nor worse than expected, except the crispy beef tasted of fish and was not very nice. Although it was delivered on time, it was a long wait for such OK food.

We were amazed it was spot on time, thank you 👍
