Pros - This place has one of the best menus in my opinion. It was very hard to chose just 1 dish. We had the Green shakshouka, some hummus with Pita and a chocolate pastry. The green shakshouka was very special, I am so happy we tried that. The hummus and pita were awesome and the chocolate pastry was very rich and chocolatey. Yumm! Cons - The service was super rude, and I think this is the reason why I wouldn't go back. We booked a table for 3 people and but due to a last minute change 4 of us showed up. We were sitting at a double 'coffee' table, so there was plenty of space for all of us. The waitress was very difficult though and very condescending. She told us 3 times in a VERY condescending manner, that we will probably have to leave but she will check it with her manager. After a good 15 minutes she came back and said that the manager is fine with 4 of us staying (at a 4 seater table) but she pointed out that we are going to be extremely uncomfortable as the food will not fit on the table. But the portions were very small, so everything fit very comfortably. We were made to feel extremely unwelcomed. And she refused to bring us an extra chair so my friend had to sit sideways on the corner of a bench, instead of sitting next to me where there was plenty of space. So yeah - terrible service. The portion sizes are small. more like a tapas I think and for that a bit pricey, but very tasty!

Very convenient and accessible for the Dominion and other venues in the area. Lovely welcome from the staff, who could not have been kinder to us, or more helpful. Definitely a 10/10 * to them 😊 Re food: I would prefer a bigger vegetarian selection of dishes, rather than mainly meat. The sea bream was somewhat overwhelmed by sauce and the mains were on the small side although sufficient. We will go back for lunch / coffee because the deserts looked lovely.

A lovely little place. Pricey though but worth it. Food is delicious & beautifully presented. Very limited (4chairs) seating inside! Yesterday despite the freezing temperatures (2ºC) the staff insisted the door should be kept open making it an unpleasant experience and is not energy efficient!

We had a wonderful meal at Honey & Co. All the food was delicious, we had aubergine and pear & endive salad to start, followed by lamb and chicken for main course. The dessert, cheesecake, was to die for, unlike any other cheesecake I've ever tasted! The wine was excellent too, as was the service. Unusual, flavoursome food, cooked to perfection.

This was our first time visiting Honey and Co and it turned out to be a very good experience. This stylish , modern restaurant serves amazing Middle Eastern food that will leave your palate dancing with joy. There is also a lovely friendly atmosphere which is generated from the staff who look after you from the moment you arrive until you depart. The restaurant is situated on Lamb’s Conduit Street a buzzy little area in between Chancery Lane and Russell Square tube stations. We entered and received a nice welcome before being seated at our table. Once comfortable we took a look around where you could see the restaurant was separated into sections and the tables were nicely spaced apart. There was also tables around the outside and counter dining inside for walk ins. We then looked at the menu which is set out in small and large plates plus a separate dessert menu and gives you the freedom to choose what and how many dishes you want depending on how long you have or how hungry you are. There was also our choice which was the sharing menu where you had a Meze selection to share , a choice of a main course and a dessert. This was priced at only £55 per person and was not hard to see why it was very popular on the day. To accompany our food we ordered a fabulous Thymiopoulos Rose de Xinomavro 2021 from Greece with its orange/rosé colour and light strawberry notes was an absolute delight. We started with a Meze to share. This was a selection of all the small plates. This is a great idea as you don’t feel light your missing out on something and gives you the chance to choose your favourite when you return. The flavours of each little dish were amazing and you really felt like you were in the Middle East. Bread selection – pitta, milk bun, sesame bread & Greek olive oil Snack plate – house pickles, herby bureka, olives, crudites & tahini Creamy hummus, marinated chilli garlic chickpeas, pitta Aubergine & tomato salad, red onion, fresh herbs & chilli Luxor style falafel with lemony cabbage & parsley salad, tahini Labaneh, fried artichokes, pine nuts & sumac Spring salad – asparagus, broad beans, dill, lemon saffron dressing & dukkah. ( see pic below ). We then moved onto the main course where you had to choose one dish each. My wife opted for the Balkan Kofta - beef and kashkaval cheese kofta with peppers , tomatoes and garlic yoghurt. For myself I went for the Chicken marinated in sweet garlic , feta cream , pea and fennel salad that I have to say with hand on heart was absolutely stunning and I would defy anyone to better it. The Kofta was also amazing. We then moved on to Dessert where the waitress explained that a lot of people can’t manage one so they price the sharing menu with or without dessert. This wasn’t going to be a problem for us so we ordered the Warm Apricot and Hazelnut Cake and the Feta and Honey Cheesecake with a kadaif pastry base. These desserts were absolute heaven and a fantastic way to finish an excellent dining experience. We finished with a coffee to bring to an end a fabulous lunch of exquisite middle eastern food. This was matched by excellent friendly service that made our whole experience one to remember and to be honest I really can’t wait to return. So yes I would highly recommend a visit even if you’re passing by and don’t have much time because believe once you try their food you will be back. Thank You all for a fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The milk bread and walnut bread were amazing, however, I can’t say the same for the service and eggs. We waited 15 minutes to get someone’s attention just to get sugar with our coffees because the staff kept talking outside or in the corridor by the stairs. We then found shell in our eggs and were very underwhelmed with the food especially given the price of it all. We were rushed to finish our first course within 5 minutes of receiving it “Incase our mains were served too quickly” and left feeling rather disappointed which is a shame because we’ve wanted to come here for a while.

Had the pleasure of dining at the old location a few years back. Vowed to go back whenever we visited London again. Still one of my favorite meals that I have ever eaten. The mezze are fantastic and I would eat the hummus every day if I could. When we were there, there was a chicken with pomegranate that I wish I could find somewhere in the States, but nothing comes close. I recommend this to anyone I know going to London. While the location is a little out of the way, it is only about a 20 minute walk from Covent Garden or 10 minutes from the Holburn tube.

This restaurant is amazing! It definitely is on the pricier end of the scale but the quality is really high and everyone there is wonderful (also, it's located in Bloomsbury - what do you expect?). I don't normally write reviews but while I was there, someone made quite an obnoxious display complaining about the price of the food and so wanted to show my support for a delicious menu and friendly establishment. The shakshuka was also great.Dinner: Meze were excellent but I am not sure toasted milk bun (which is sweet) goes very well (perhaps it was just being used up as it was Saturday night?) and it might be better to order cocktails elsewhere. The lamb shawarma was to die for but the accompanying cabbage salad tasted of oil, I am not sure what happened to the lemon and the herbs? The salad main was lacklustre. The cheesecake was heavenly. Overall I loved the experience, was particularly grateful for a table on Saturday night and the service was outstanding.

We had an amazing lunch today in the deli. We had a voucher for Christmas and we love Middle Eastern food. We were not disappointed. Lovely tasty food and friendly helpful staff. Great coffee too. We bought one of the cookery books to try some of the great dishes at home

I had dinner with 4 friends at this small restaurant this week. Despite all the good reviews and excellent books, we could not find the exellence in the food and I was dissapointed. Service and place is fine...though we were not allowed to have meze less than 4 people thinking how strange it was to be so inflexible. We arrived on time at 6pm and there were only 2 other tables yet the food arrived 50 minutes later (and we had been told to leave by 8). The small dishes are nearly 10 pounds each and nothing really justifies this price- certainly not the ingredients: yes most of them are tasty but small portions make the whole experience a very miserable one. Even pita bread is rationed! The mains, a lamb dish which turned out to be more aubergine than minced lamb was served in the smallest little hot oven dish, so burning hot that even after 5 mins of trying to cool it down I burned my tongue, The spicy vegetarian lentil kofte were served cold with a salad (no one mentioned this and they were in the Mains section not salads). The aubergine stew was delicious with smokey taste but again barely 5 spoonfuls. At £20 a dish one wonders how this compares with the usual mediterranean generous fare?

We ate here with friends on a Friday evening before Christmas. It is small and tables are close together. Service is informal but efficient and friendly. The food is amazing. Freshly prepared, nicely presented. We had the winter sharing menu. The messes were lovely, especially the red pepper falafel. I really enjoyed the mansaf for my main course. The feta and honey cheesecake for dessert was amazing (amazing enough to go and buy the cookery book with the recipe). Will definitely go back! Make sure to book.

I wanted to keep this place just for me but it really would be wrong not to share this find with anyone and everyone! On perusing the menu the dishes seem pricey ... until the food arrives. The best Middle Eastern tastes I have experienced yet, and the colours are exquisite. It is a small place and always full so be sure to book ahead. I am normally anti restaurants where you have limited time but even this would not keep me away! Do share my secret :)

A quirky small, Middle Eastern personal restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia London. There is also a larger restaurant belonging to same owners and a delicatessen nearby.

Honey & Co is a great little spot to grab lunch if you work in the area. Very tasty food, healthy and will leave wanting to come back. You might even grab some extras to take home for dinner. Very limited seating - If you want a restaurant experience this is really not the place. Go to their other establishments, Honey & Smoke, Honey & Spice. Beautiful food.

Went here for lunch with friends: chicken tagine served in dish straight from the oven and on a wooden board. Waiter does not mention dish is hot and puts board down awkwardly on the table. The dish slides straight into friend's lap and results in blistering burns over all the palm of her hand. Waiter initially unapologetic and manager had to apply first aid.

Had wanted to visit Honey and Co for a while, and came here for lunch on a Saturdays as a birthday treat . The mezze was truly delicious. The apple and tarragon G&T; a lovely twist on an old favourite and my dining companion enjoyed her rose and cinnamon tea. She also enjoyed her chicken tajine. My fish pastilla was a tad salty, presentation uninteresting and I felt overpriced. This ‘restaurant’ seems very popular, many visitors were turned away but it’s extremely cramped. The tables are small and we could hardly fit on our food on it. If someone comes to a neighbouring table you have to hang onto the things on your table in case they are knocked off! No chance of a private conversation! Didn’t like the paper table cloths... This sounds like a moan.. but I expect more from my dining experience when I’m spending almost £90 for two courses, which included a tea and a G&T.; No space for the cheesecake so we bought some puddings to take home from their deli a few doors down . It has some lovely take away food or you can sit in for a snack on a stool. Sorry not to be more positive.

To me and sorry to say this as I wanted to give this a 5 star it was over hyped mainly in terms of cleanliness, restaurant lay out and to some extent service. The restaurant is very small and cramped. It really was not a pleasant nor enjoyable dining experience. We were sitting on top of each other. I am skinny and struggled to move in between tables! What shocked me was that a restaurant of this standard could be so dirty. The seating area was filthy. Tables were just wiped down quickly. You are busy but presentation is so important. You cannot allow guests to sit and stand on crumbs. Staff were pleasant especially the guy but stressed and stretched. They need to employ more people and move to a bigger premises. Food wise think Middle East! You can have from the a la carte or full big breakfast mezze spread. Not sure on vegan options. There are some pastries and cakes as well. Book if possible as they are busy for breakfast on a Saturday morning which they serve till 11:30 or you may be lucky and get a walk in table. There are a few seats outside too. I had the shakshuka which was nice. It looks small but more than sufficient and filling. Presentation was good. It was freshly made and tasty. Piping hot. They have two options for shakshuka. The bread was delicious but my main issue was how stingy they were on the bread! It was way too little for the shakshuka and they needed to give a lot more. The americano was nice but strong. My fault as should have asked for this to be weak. They have a good selection of drinks as well. It's not cheap at all. I would come back to try more. This was the first time I tried a shakshuka so could not really compare it. I would probably go when they are quieter to enjoy the meal and not hear the table next to you entire conversation! They need to clean and think of presentation as well!

I have to confess : I didn’t actually want to go here. It was a friends choice for a birthday dinner. I didn’t think the menu sounded to my taste. I was very wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I happily give it full marks

Way over hyped. Firstly the restaurant is so small, cramped and tight spaced. I am skinny and struggled to squeeze inbetween tables. Tables are very close together so make friends. Service was busy and chatoic. Although pleasant, they were stressed and this showed. It wasn't their fault, they were trying especially the guy but could not cope. They saw us wanting to place an order but just looked and did not come until we had to call them. Their popular and busy but to have breakfast like this was not enjoyable. We made a booking but some people were lucky to get a walk in. The place was filthy. Our table was literally wiped down and seats were covered in crumbs. As a guest I did not expect to sit like this. The table should be properly cleaned especially for a cafe or restaurant of this standard. Menu was limited but more than sufficient with the option of a la carte or a big breakfast mezze. A lot of people were doing the latter option but we chose a la carte as we did not want a really big breakfast. Think Middle East! There were also pastries and some sweet treats. I had an americano which was very strong. I should have asked for one shot as I normally do but forgot. To eat, I had the shakshuka as were most people. There is some outside seating as well but very little and it was cold. They serve breakfast until 11:30 on weekends. Service and presentation were not great. The table next to us ordered a latte or something and the froth was dripping down the side of the mug. The shakshuka was well presented and fresh, piping hot and tasty. Having said this, it was my first time trying a shakshuka so a bit difficult to compare. It looks small but sufficient and filling. Anymore would be too much. My issue was the bread. It was really nice but not enough at all. It was way too small to eat with the shakshuka and they needed to give much more. I would like to come back when it is quieter and you could actually enjoy your meal without sitting on top of people and hear their entire conversation. They need to clean and consider presentation on the chairs and floors. Price wise it is pricey. Nearly £20.00 per person for one dish each and hot drink.

Amazing fresh food in a cosy cafe style place. Short walk from busy Tottenham CT Road. Middle Easterm food bit with a fresh modern twist. If too busy you can visit their deli opposite which also sells other products and take aways.
