Honest Burgers Soho in City of London, Westminster

I'm not really a fan and here's why 1. Way too much salt. I tried the honest burger and also their vegetarian burger. Two different places. Same 2. They might boast they source their potatoes from fifth generation. Farmers but they cook the.poratoes more than once which makes them tasteless. You might as well use cheap potatoes because we can't tell the difference. This is obvious because of the look and also taste. Tastes like it has been overcooked and really crunchy. A bit like those chips you always get in places because they've been cooked too long. Some people might like it this way. It I don't. I'm sure it's also far less good for you. If they were to improve these two things I feel I can return but as it stands for the high sodium content alone, i need to allow my blood pressure to settle for a few weeks first Hope you take my comments on board at constructive. Apart from nice burger overall.

Super quick and tasty. Portion is a bit small but with a side you can get full. The burgers came very fast and were very delicious

I went to eat at this place for my birthday. I am an honest hamburger worker, but I am also a customer because I know the quality of their products. I would like to recommend this place for its hospitality, making a special mention to Adelina for her exceptional attention. Highly recommended.

I got the beef burger and chips, Omg I was so surprised on how delicious this food was the burgers are banging and chips are sooo surprisingly tasty and good, if you live or go to London I would 100% recommend this place

Ordered medium burgers. Burgers were red raw in middle. Couldn’t taste the rosemary on the chips and they were overcooked, very crispy with no potato filling, just spikey scraps. Onion rings were very overdone too. My son was sick all through the night later that night with a fever and my husband was extremely ill too with an upset stomach and feeling sick. We had to travel home 7 hours on a coach the next day feeling like this. We paid £87 for the experience. A Cider cost £5.90. Very overpriced and overrated. Won’t be revisiting any branch of Honest burgers.

What a fabulous find, on a pretty street, for pre theatre lunch. We’ll definitely go again. That’s it really- we loved it.

Visited on 12/3. Only a few tables taken when we arrived, but within ten minutes the place was full. This did not stop or slow down the wonderful service from the two waitresses. I would recommend the gay farmer burger and bacon gravy !! Burger was cooked perfectly. Would definitely return. Only down side is we could not book a table in advance.

Recommended by a friend. Awesome burger cooked how you like, rosemary flavoured chips were spot on, homemade lemonade was lovely too. Partner had similar food with added onion rings which he says were done right. Lovely service too - the lad who served us was relaxed and professional and made us feel taken care of without being invasive. Perfect dinner!

The outdoor area is cozy and you will enjoy your meal even if it’s cold as overhead heaters are available, as for the food everything is amazing I personally like the smashed burger

We highly recommend this place. Very good burgers and fries. I especially recommend this chili. Ipa beer is also exceptionally tasty. The service was excellent.

The food was lovely so was Adelina! She was so helpful and made me so comfortable. I tried the fresh limonade she recommended and I loved it. Great food and even better staff!

The usual top quality food and service, however restaurant is a little cramped and worn down.

The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because the vegan burger was not as good as I've seen online or been advised. Cannot talk about beef or the other meat options, but the one I have was pretty decent, definitely a good portion of food for the price, but I was expecting something more filling or with a bigger explosion of flavour. Now, staff members are very welcoming and the waiting time is not bad at all. I might be biased due to having preconceptions as some people said it was the best vegan burger ever, which is definitely not, and I just think that for a vegan burger to be amazing, you would want to get a house made patty. No hate at all, loved the place, just being honest.

Excellente adresse pour les amateurs de bons burgers ! Nous avons goûtés le Smash burger et celui-ci était très appétissant. Les frites maisons accompagnent parfaitement le plat. Attention, oreilles sensibles s’abstenir ! Les décibels sont aux rendez-vous le soir !

A good burger is always a great idea! Thanks to the YT algorithm i stumbled upon a review of great burger places in London. We decided to give Honest Burgers a try and man… They sure didn’t disappoint! Probably the best burger i ever had in my entire life 😅 No complaints on anything here. good good, friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere. Will be back at Honest Burgers next time i’m visiting London.

Nice small but busy burger place in the middle of Soho. When arrived restaurant was full but they found a table for me immediately, food has arrived fast and it was good, classic smash burger, rosemary fries could have been a bit better thou. Haven't stayed long, but liked décor and atmosphere. Top notch service but I feel for them, they are busy, working in hospitality is not easy. Would like to visit again in less populated time.

It was my first experience coming here and I went out of my way as really wanted to try it. I ordered a burger via the app as was running late for an appointment , forgot to use my blue light card 😩 The burger tasted nice but was really small. I ordered the I love bacon burger with rosemary fries and a side of onions ring which were nasty. The batter was not nice and looked like the oil needed changing or something. I had to peel of the over cooked batter. For nearly £20 for small burger, fries and onion ring… this place is not for me! I was in a rush so forgot to take pictures annoyingly

By far the best burger I’ve ever had - and I’ve tried many. This branch in particular is very cozy, the service was top and the food is to die for. I highly recommend the smashed bacon burger with some tasty rosemary chips. And that for only around £10. Honest(-ly the best) Burger.🙃

So to start with the welcome was very rude and we were just pointed on at the table Everything would be okey but I asked where are the toilets waiter points at then and then my friends told me they could hearm him say “Oh what an idiot he can read the sign” very rude and bad service avoid

Great burger - we always go for here, passing other Honest Burger franchises on the way, specifically for their house SOHO burger. The fries are usually the absolute best but lately they aren't as crispy and have been disappointing (they're usually my best in London).

Yummy food, THE best burgers and the waiters were VERY accommodating and obliging...we'll be back!

Went in Oct 2022. we had to wait to get in 'cause I guess it was packed that day, I understand it's for safety, but still kinda sucks having to wait outside. Anyway, it wasn't a long wait, and it was real nice once we got seated, had a cool vibe, and my friends and I had a great time overall.

Honestly, hands down, one of the best burger places in London. If you’re a bit indecisive about what to order, then the “Honest burger” will do just fine. The beef patty is cooked to medium, juicy, and complimented with cheeses + sauces. Alongside with a generous amount of chips / fries!! Can’t really go wrong with this place. Service is a bit lacking though during busier times, with less than a few servers present.

It's quite cramped and the kids menu burgers are disappointing. Nothing but chicken and a bun. Regular burgers were good and the fries - fantastic. No onion rings. Service was sloooooow. Altogether, probably would be better when it's not so busy.

Honestly, a very good burger, one of my favorite stops for a burger in London. Never disappointed. However a bit small and sit on top of each other.

Burger is ok but not brilliant. Service from the woman who served us was ok. She was not friend but not unfriendly. The tables are tightly packed in and no room to move. One of the male waiters was so rude to customers who came in for a table, they left.

Food came out really quickly which was great. The "English cafe" vibe was cool and it didn't feel too squashy even though the whole restaurant was backed. Smashed burger was great and the chipotle mayo was surprisingly tasty and the Christmas Burger was a filling addition to the menu.

Loved it. Burgers are pretty small but well done and juicy. Fries are very good but I also recommend the coleslaw. Friendly and nice staff.

Since they stopped cooking it rare ,it is just became like the other burgers (i did ask the staff) . They stop using fresh hand cut chips, which is a big mistake! Nice stuff as usual, but the food is not so much.

I'm not a burger kind of girl usually, but my friend said this place was really good and used British free range meat. So I went with it. Totally loved my meal. The burger was perfect. Loved the smokey bacon, mozzarella and pesto with it and good brioche bun too. I had the cider and that was lovely. I'll definitely be going back there, when I'm next in Town. Pleasant staff too.

Very HONEST and HUMBLE place! Welcoming and little, but can host many people. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable considering it's central London. Juicy patties and super flavoured fries, just lovely! They welcome you also when the end of the service is about to come. I almost forgot, their onion rings are super massive and delicious!

Yum! Honest really do offer a great burger and they're not too expensive. Really great veggie options too if that's your bag (I had the teriyaki burger) and service is always good as well. Great location for a bit of carousing, or lunch before a gallery or cinema trip.

The way a burger should be. A small restaurant but big in flavour. Juicy burgers combined with the right amount of toppings. And the chips are some of the best I have ever had.

Good burger from the Honest Burger chain. There with a friend, we got 2 burgers and 2 beers. The kitchen messed up with our order and it was delayed by quite some time. To apologise for the inconvenience we got a 50% discount. Nice :)

I often eat at their various branches in London. Delicious food with very good service, staff behaviour is very good. But sitting place is too congested in this branch.

Food was alright, nothing amazing. I think the experience was brought down by the useless waitress. She was quite cold towards me but friendly with others. She asked others if they would like tap water, dessert or the bill throughout there meal. But with me she just took my order in a rush, and didn't even give me the necessary cutlery for my meal. Also despite me trying to get her attention constantly never brought me the bill, despite the fact it was not very busy and she was just standing at the desk the whole time. Very strange experience, and would not visit again. Edit: I didn't want to assume this at first, but reading other reviews it is clear that racism is at play. As the waitress interacted very differently to the white customers as opposed to me

We went last night at 10 pm, we ordered beef burger, rosemary fries and 2 drinks, the taste of burger was great but the reason why I gave 3 stars because the fries were short, as if they were the last ones, I didn’t like it.

My boyfriend said, it was one of the best burgers he ever had - the honest one. So 5 stars. I had the chicken one, which was a bit seasoned spicy for me (I am very vanilla 😅), but since it's personal preference still 5 stars.

Fantastic and different flavours of what you are used to in burgers. Truly unique experience. The staff were also kind and fast. The atmosphere was cozy too and it is a must for winter. I highly recommend you should give it a go. (We went April 20 of 2023)
