Really nice and unique place in a heart of Reading centre. Great quality of burgers and really friendly team <3 Short lady with curly hair and tall blonde chap were amazing, we will be back definitely.

I enjoyed the burger. But the potato chips were not that good because there were too many small things. If you eat the set + beer, you'll be full!

Does what it says on the tin !! Popped out for some lunch , and decided to try this . Around £14 a head but no alcohol … the honest burger was great and the chilli burger was much better than expected . Spicy cheese , sauce . Actually spicy ! Rosemary fries are great too so will be back I expect . Could do with being a little cheaper as the price point stops it being a regular evert , rather than occasional treat .

The food is amazing and the price is good as well I went when it was quite slow but the scenery in the restaurant was immaculate with amazing staff and a bell to let the chef know you liked their food. Over all will definitely go back

I was staying in Reading for the night for work and found this place on Google maps. I was so glad I did, the best burger I have had in a long time. Good atmosphere, great service and decent music played in the background, will return!

Unreal food! So tasty, me and my girlfriend have been to many an Honest Burger in London and they’re all brilliant and this one in Reading is no exception. I’m a veggie who was once a meat eater and enjoys the taste of meat. Honest Burger’s Vegan burgers taste as good as the real beef counter parts. Also if you’re not a fan of vegan cheese they will swap it out for proper cheddar at no additional cost!

Excellent food, friendly staff, and cosy atmosphere.

The burger tasted good and was a decent size, the price was really good so overall a nice place to go. It was a tad cramped with seating close together which also meant it was loud especially as it was super busy. But I would go there again 😊

As someone who is gluten-free I can always rely on honest burgers for safe, delicious food. Reading is one of the friendliest locations I’ve eaten at, a laid back atmosphere where the staff can’t do enough for you! Shout out to Huw for looking after me so well. I’ll definitely be back!

First time we came out was fairly average, however they've upped their game as the food was very good this time around.

I would recommend. I was tempted into the ‘double up’ option on the burger and that right there was a phenomenal idea! The service by Huw was great from beginning to end. I can safely say Huw got a friend in me!

A group of 4 of us came in mid week for dinner. The food was lovely and very good value. Our server Huw was great! A very friendly guy and couldn't rate him highly enough.

Been there on a Saturday night with friends. We opted for the reading burger and pints. Food was honest, tasty and as expected. Maybe a bit more of spicy would have been nicer. Only downside was the very slow service. We waited for a solid 45 Min from when we order until the food arrived. Can understand that the restaurant was full, but a burger is still a burger, and almost an hour seems a bit too long.

Couldn't fault the food - burgers and fries were delicious and one of my 5 sons said the wings were the best he'd had. Food arrived quickly once we'd ordered. Slightly disappointed with the service - wasn't bad per se, just didn't feel staff were very attentive - as a family we didn't feel the love. Service charge of 10‰ was automatically added to bill which we didn't notice until we got home, but was one of those occasions where we wouldn't have left a tip.

Honest to it's name except for fries 🍟 but still burger fresh juicy and the buffalo wings must try

My friend Alex suggested this burger place and I must say it's highly recommended. I tried the Buffalo chicken burger and the rosemary chips as a side, it was delicious.

The service at this branch was exceptional! We had Huw serving us and he was so lovely, making conversation and making sure we were satisfied with our food ect. The food and drinks both came out so fast and was actually delicious. I’d really recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere friendly to sit and eat (they also provide a range of games to make the atmosphere more fun and relaxed)

So next up on my journey to sample all of the Honest Burger local offerings was the Reading Burger - Honest beef, bacon, Waterloo & Heckfield cheeses, apple slaw, tomato & chilli chutney and rocket. A delicious combination complimented with the rosemary fries and a great pint from local brewery Two Tribes - well worth the visit

Honest Burgers in Reading offers delicious and one of the best burgers in town. From veggie, through beefy to gluten free they have got everyone covered. It’s affordable step up from fast food chains that offers cosy atmosphere inside aided by some really talented staff that care about your experience. I cannot recommend enough their drink menu!

Ordered a medium-welldone patty and this dripping bad boy turns up 25mins later. Politely informed the server that there's been a mistake only for him to tell me that YOUR WRONG and that is medium-welldone. Oh and no sign of the onion rings I ordered 10mins in to eating so I told them not to bother. #badservice

January 2024 - It is with regret I am having lower my review for this Honest Burger. I have been twice over the past month and on both occasions, neither hugely busy ones, chips were cold-luke warm at best and burgers were burnt. I like my burger charred, but this has not been the case, it had been burnt leaving a horrible aftertaste. I am not sure what has happened at this Honest Burger but I feel I will skip going back for a while, for I don't want three disappointing trips/burgers and fries in a row! Food should not be being served cold and or burnt at any restaurant - period. As someone who has always highly recommend Honest Burger to everyone, its a real shame to now suggest avoidance! Summer 2023 - Absolutely delicious food and amazing service. Waitress was great in helping both me and my friend decide what to get. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. All cooked to perfection. I am a sweet over savoury person, but Honest Burger holds a special place in my heard. The rosemary sea salt chips and incomparable to any other chip - they are like the best chip you have ever eaten crossed with the best roast potato you have ever eaten. I get the plant burger. which is also incredible (when using Beyond meat, this is expected!). I also switched the vegan cheese for American cheese this time (I am vegetarian, not vegan) which I think I preferred! Highly recommend Honest Burger if you want to mega level up your Burger and Fries game (ps. they also do Blue Light discounts every day of the week!)

Honest Burgers is my and my fiancé's favorite place to get a burger. Their burgers are so good and they have options for vegetarians and vegans. Their chips are delicious and very well seasoned. They have a drink called karma cola that my fiancé loves that I think is kind of a more natural version of coke. Over all great place for families and couples alike.

Ordered uber eats .. never arrived ! Rang restaurant, was basically told tough .. take it up with uber ..oh i will be .. but what dreadful customer service from honest burgers.. couldnt give a damn ... zero stars

Great burgers, but only ever a small menu to choose from. The burgers are also smaller than you'd expect. All in all, it's a decent place for a Burger and rosemary salted fries (the price of the burger comes with fries). Service was great and the decor is appealing.

I had the I ❤️ Bacon Burger from their collab with the Jolly Hog, would 100% recommend! Good option if you enjoy the Tribute Burger and want to switch it up a bit. The burger was juicy and had a good balance of flavour. The rosemary chips were a bit too dry for my liking so next time I’d probably order the salad instead. 20% off for students Sunday-Thursdays as well!

I ordered a delivery from Honest Burgers, and several items were missing. I was not informed or contacted beforehand that they would not be available. Have not received a refund either. Extremely poor service.

I had a pesto chicken burger and rosemary fries with that, was super disappointed. This place is definitely not worth the hype. They made us wait for 35-40 minutes and come with the most bland tasting burger ever. Never coming back.

Decent. If you enjoy mediocre food, then it's a great place to go. Service was helpful, and the atmosphere was lively. The food is overpriced, unfortunately. I thought I'd splash out a bit extra for a special, seasonal burger meal, and it was disappointing, to be honest. Perfectly cooked beef, but somehow the burger was a bit bland. Fries were insanely salty. Definitely better places to go for a burger if you're in Reading.

I had a delivery 🚚 so can’t comment on the restaurant but the food I received was off the chart tasty 🤤 I had the teriyaki vegan burger with fries and onion rings it was insanely delicious 😋 wish I lived closer to a branch! Even better … totally Gluten free and dairy free too!! High quality food and I love their back story of how the started out!

Amazing staff amazing food amazing vibes

A very solid, all-round burger place. If you'll excuse me going off on a bizarre tangent though, what surprised me the most about my meal though was the chips, which were absolutely stunning - the perfect consistency, not too salty and just lightly spiced. 8/10 burger, 11/10 chips. I would make another two hour train journey to Reading just for those.

Never been to an Honest Burger before but we thought we would give it a try. We ordered two of the Reading Specials and two steins of the Brooklyn Pilsner. Food was ok, the burgers had a nice taste and the combination of the local cheeses was great, however, we both found them to be a little small for the price. The Salad and Chips both tasted great, just the right amounts of dressing and Rosemary salt on both. As others have said it's nice to see a chain restaurant supporting the local economy (I did not drink the local beers we fancied a stein for a laugh, but have enjoyed them elsewhere). I would likely pop back in the future and try a larger burger.

Amazing service and a wonderful team. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fantastic. Huw was attentive and made sure every need was met. Would recommend for the whole experience and a great place to have a meal or meet up.

This is up there with my favourite places to eat. Every time we’ve been the food has been fantastic, good value and the service is unmatched. But the Reading branch in particular is special, lovely atmosphere, great food and lovely staff. Huw gets a special mention, the most welcoming and helpful person.
