Restaurant left me hanging 10 mins before refusing to accept the order. Will never order again.

Now our go-to Indian takeaway! Food is great and set meals are good value.

Food was of the highest standard. Every item was beautifully cooked and the staff were so friendly and even gave us two cans of juice for free when we collected it. Would use over and over again

I ordered a pizza deal which comes with chips and a kebab. The chips were soggy and unseasoned. The kebab had no salad or sauce. If these are going to be optional the option needs to be there. No one wants a sad kebab!

I just...didn't like the food.

The curries were absolutely lovely, on point. Chips were nice however we ordered a large chips and I didn't really think it was a large but never the less, the food was delicious.

I ordered the chicken Tikka Masala. It was pretty decent, enjoyed it enough and ate it all, but 4/6 probably sums it up. Only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the spiced onions. Personally, for me they were too spicy, and I usually like spicy food. Just felt like the balance was off slightly. Overall pretty good though and would probably order again.

Decent enough last time, so tried again tonight (25.11.2022) to make life easier amidst hectic night. Food was originally due to be here between 21:15-21:45, at 22:40, a driver still hadn’t been assigned according to the app. I had called the restaurant at 22:30 and was advised that the driver was on the way. We cancelled the order at 22:45 when it became clear in the app that they hadn’t started the order yet… Complete misinformation for the restaurant and clear the food would’ve been upwards of two hours later than we were advised upon ordering. Deeply disappointing.

It wasn't delivered. Restaurant not interested.

Food cold the usual from just eat these days getting a bit of a hoke to be honest, nothing worse than cold chips and cold donnor meat yuck

Worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Both curry’s where so runny. The butter masala tasted like a jar of tomato mascarpone pasta sauce with some spices thrown in The chanti was also just tasted off? We paid extra for paneer and only got 6 prices in each. And on top of that the pakora was stale :( Really disappointed as I’ve ordered here before and it was really good…

The samosas were awful, don’t know what they were made of, I think they were out the freezer. and there was no chickpeas on the side, gave us pakora sauce? Would rather you just tell us they were not available.

South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken was outstanding, could do with a little more chicken though. The Seekh Kebabs were delicious and the garlic nan was so soft with not a burnt or hard bit in sight. I have some great Indian takeaways near by in Dennistoun, but this is my new go to!

I've ordered from here a few times and I don't know what's happened. They told us the food was ready when it wasn't and when we finally got home with our meal it was inedible. (Spat it back out on the plate and straight into the bin) Has put me off ordering here again.

No can of juice again despite it in cluded in order. This has happened more then once. They review menu.

If customer pay extra "£ - Pound " for what expected more in Panner curry , that quantity was too little in the delivered order. Hope Restaurant will be considering in improving the quantity on such things to customer.

Food was Hot and delicious. Delivery was just on time. 👍

Donner meat looked as if it had been cooked on the radiator. Mixed pakora dry as the Sahara. Salad I wouldn't have given to my hamster, and he doesn't mind soggy salad!.....

Second time ordering from here, and the last. The vegetable curry was a soupy mess, made from those frozen cubes of carrot, peas and sweetcorn you would find in Lidl. Very poor quality and most of it went in the bin. The pakoras and the roti were decent enough.

Food left at the door they never even chapped the door!

Generally the food was okay but the biryani was far too spicy for a dish that’s meant to be relatively mild. Both the sauce and the rice - as someone who enjoys a bit of spice I offered to switch my main and even I struggled to eat it.

Food was great, just would like more spiced onions with the poppadoms. Sadly driver got lost on the way here for 20 minutes but not the restaurant's fault.

Always get a good meal from home style, worth the wait for authentic Indian food. Thanks again.

DON'T ORDER FROM HERE. I phoned to find out where my order was as it had been marked as delivered on the Just Eat app. The person I spoke to couldn't care less. I asked him to call the driver, he said he didn't have a phone number for the driver. He said as far as he's concerned, he's made the food, it been collected, not his fault it hasn't been delivered. Then advised me my best bet is to contact Just Eat! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't order from here, they will take your money but give you no food.

Good price compared to other Indian places. Lots of vegetarian paneer options.

Did not receive my food this is one of my fav places to get a take away the just eat driver never showed up and I never got my money back either was gutted and went hungry

Sauce salad was to be separate as paid for.....but did not happen. Disappointed

Burger bun was solid, meat in the burger was disgusting, kebab meat was like it was put through a blender also very soggy.

Kebab meat was more like dog meat it was thickly cut some of it in chunks and looked disgusting. Large pakora had 8 small pieces in it. First and last time ordering from here.

Donner meat not cooked properly?

Great indian style food. Great taste and very quick service. Ordered Paneer Tikka masala and roti and it was delicious. Really liked the food.

ordered the set meal for 2. Currys good. achari and masala dar Pretty oily curry tho but flavours there meal deal comes with boiled rice rather than pilau ; that merits a pounding in ma gaff probably should warn ye before ye get shunned of the family. Super mario in his go kart must of had the poppadoms hanging off the window wipers they were absolutely destroyed not even remotely acceptable. Could do better

Despite ordering at 2.30 for a 4.55 delivery, when phoning the restaurant at 5 was told they were waiting for a driver? They had over 2 hrs to organise it. The restaurant wasn’t in the least bit bothered that our food was late. Lamb madras had 7 bites of meat in it, rice wasn’t nice but everything else was ok, won’t rush back

Ordered a kabab without sauce, came drenched in sauce just like another review said. Meat was terrible, salad consisted of 2 slices of cucumber cut in half and half a tomatoe slice on top of some shredded lettuce. Would never order again, order was wrong and food was awful. Going hungry tonight. Avoid.

Not ordering again.. i ordered through Uber and delivery time was 10pm but ordered reached at 10:45 pm . And then I saw the order was in name of some tina M. I tried to stop the uber person . There were two ladies but both ran away . I called them while they were outside the building but they ran away saying that they had no idea who to be delived and that they did not know the name. On top of that I am a vegetarian and had ordered veggies but I got every item of non veg. I even asked the ladies to take the food away but they declined continuously. The ladies were highly unprofessional. The restaurant was closed and at this time I could not order anything else and I stayed hungry today. Worst worst worst never ordering again. I wish there was an option to give negative stars.

Food late , no sauce with the kebab or for my doner pizza separate sauce was ordered food was dry and went in the bin , chips tasted like pakora aswell

Amazing and Tasty. Fresh and Hot Pizza delivered. Hot piri piri sauce is also an add on. I'll be ordering again. And do recommend for an delicious, affordable and hot food.

Banging food! HOT but I’m not complaining! Everything was so tasty and still warm when it arrived. Delivered 20 mins earlier than expected, overall very happy and can’t wait to order from here again 😃

Good all round quality and taste

Though the food was late we were happy with the friendly behaviour of the restaurant guy. But after trying the food we decided not to order again.. it’s so spicy and couldn’t eat even a bit of biryani.. I would suggest anyone ordering request less spice on the notes.

My JustEat experiece was not very smooth as there was miscommunication; however it was resolved and the food was really good. I really like the chicken korma as it was well cooked, creamy and tasty.

Large kebab came with sauce on it, it was also not a large kebab compared to other places. the pakora had no sauce delivered and all food was warm not hot had to microwave to heat up. The only nice but cold item was the small pizza :(

Not much meat in the tandori grill and the chicken legs smelled like old meat. 2 L Cola was missing. The rest was quite tasty.

Really fresh, tasty and the friendly person who dropped it off (whom either owned or worked for the place) welcomed me as a new customer and very proudly told me it was very authentic food - I'm no expert but what I do know was that it was delicious and I would absolutely order again.

Iv eaten Indian in over a 100 locations as I travel alot, these guys had by far the best Chicken Korma, Aloo gobi and Daal Makhani ever and the naans were twice the size of regular restaurants, big big flavours best taste

Great food and service. I forgot to order something when I placed my order, so I called the restaurant to ask if they could add it to my existing order and they did it, and I paid for that directly to the delivery guy. Recommended :)

The food was excellent, with really generous portion sizes! I gave five out of six (rather than 6/6) stars on restaurant service due to the use of non recyclables on the order - I asked for no plastic bag if possible, but the order showed up in a plastic bag, and there was also non-recyclable polystyrene used. I totally appreciate this may not have been possible to avoid this time (so not awarding six stars is a bit harsh) - but i personally would happily pay a bit more if it meant that packaging could be recycled rather than having to end up in landfill, and so will never give full stars to any restaurant if packaging is not recyclable, as it feels like in 2022 sourcing recyclable packaging should not be that hard. Other than that, everything about the order and service was excellent.

Taste like sweet. Not Indian style.

We ordered over a hour in advance as we wanted the food to open our fast. The driver showed up 1h after the fast opened qnd when asked why he took so long and exained that we were waiting 1h to open our fast he laughed

For me I thought the lamb Biriani was a bit spicy. Too many spice pods that you need to remove as you cannot eat these. It was cooked well sauce was nice and flavourful. The cheese nan was too much garlic must be a paste that is used. Mixed pakora was okay but a lot of batter. I would say more suited for someone who likes spicy food. I’m sure I seen that you also had to pay extra if you wanted it less spicy which I think is unreasonable.

I have been ordering from home style for about 2 years and the service and delivery are always excellent. However, they must have changed chefs or recipes? The food was not at all the same and not good. The jalfrezi was flavourless and pale, the South Indian chilli chicken overly sweet and not spicy at all, even the spiced onions were too sweet, not spicy and seemed to be out of a jar where as before they were always so fresh and spicy! So sad to see the quality drop like this. Please revert back to your original recipes.

Definitely would not recommend this takeaway. Food was very poor with bits of pink in the chicken and came an hour and a half late. Not over reacting when saying the only decent thing we had was the popadoms.

Best local Indian restaurant by far

We always used to come back because food has always been delicious and that is still the case for the sides (pakora, naan, etc). The service is always good too; the drivers are nice and delivery is quick. However, it looks like the recipes for the mains have been changed and not for the better. Both curries (vegetable tikka masala and bhuna) are completely different and nowhere near as good as they used to be. Very disappointed as we will now have to find our new favourite Indian restaurant.

We ordered from here for the first time it arrived late and although wasn’t freezing it wasn’t hot either. the sauces had clearly taking a bashing on the way here as they leaked out of every container my partner had lamb vindaloo which was tough and greasy, I had a chicken tikka starter, spicy mushrooms, naan and curry sauce, spiced onions and popadoms. The mushrooms were in the thickest sauce I’ve ever had it was the consistency of tomato purée like a real thick paste not saucy at all and it was far too spicy and I don’t say that lightly as I’m a fan of heat. the curry sauce was also far too spicy I couldnt taste any other spices at all apart from chillie , and bizarrely the vindaloo, mushroom “sauce” and curry although all different colours and consistencies tasted exactly the same, the saving grace was the chicken tikka and spiced onions they were absolutely delicious and also freshly made the naan bread had a really nice flavour as well but was very thin more like a chapati. The spiced onions were the best thing on the plate as they were cold so their taste wasn’t compromised, disappointing 😕

Late and whatever map was used, sent driver wrong place and I had to leave flat to retrieve it

Absolutely delicious food and incredibly accommodating staff! My mother in law has a dairy allergy and the team made her Dopiaza and Rotis specially without any dairy. Took a wee bit longer than expected but well, WELL, worth the wait!

I’m not one to leave reviews but my experience with Home Style Authentic Indian Cuisine was disappointing. My order was incomplete as items were missing, I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner who said he would treat me to something complementary in my next order. I haven’t been able to reach the restaurant by telephone since then. Also, to ensure he remembers to give me soemthing complementary he said that he will take a note of my name on paper. That’s it. This is not a good way to keep check of your promises to customers. I’m really not happy with their service one bit and for anyone reading, stay away from this restaurant despite the high reviews in general as the service has dropped significantly since the owners changed.

Veg pakora not that great. Spiced onions and poppadoms stale. Curry ok. Nan really good.
