Booked a table here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Track and trace, hand sanitisers and screens made it feel Covid safe. Would definitely eat here again when next in Llandudno.

It’s been a while since visiting this restaurant. Went with family to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent and the service was good too. They have set up the restaurant well to keep it Covid safe. Definitely recommend for a visit if you are looking for a great experience.

This is our favourite place to eat in llandudno. We visit every year and always fit in a visit to home from home during the week. This year we are staying in a hotel in Llandudno and decided to visit on route. It was a Monday and the place is taking part in the eat out to help out scheme meaning it was very busy. Luckily we got a table outside which was nice and the food was absolutely amazing. Scrambled egg and smoked salmon is INCREDIBLE!! The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. We were so pleased we booked for the following two days!! Highly highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area.

First went to Home from home on our visit to Wales in February 2020. Excellent three course meal, great service, kept spotlessly clean and prices very good too. Just came back from a second visit in August, after they reopened from lockdown. Owner had complied with all measures to make it a Covid safe place to eat. The same excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Unfortunately you can tell how poor the food is since “eat in to help out” is being used, a lot of frozen produce, been going for many years and will not be going again. I understand people have to make money in harsh times, but produce quality has gone through the floor, even though home from home will be claiming from the government scheme Meals should be around £4.95 or 2 for £8

Went with a friend for lunch.Had heard a lot from friends about how good it was so our expectations were high.Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed.The tables seemed very close together.I had a steak wrap, which had too little steak relative to the amount of mushroom and onion.My friends ham was too tough for her liking.Could have been better.

Visited with a couple of friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were welcoming and the service excellent. Definitely recommend for evening. Other friends have been for lunch and advised us about the place as they'd had such a great lunch there.

I only visited for a quick snack, but it was a pleasant experience. I ordered a scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea. The scone was lovely, but I was disappointed to find that they serve squirty cream instead of proper cream. For the price I paid, I would expect whipped or clotted cream.

Last year, by chance, we came across this small cafe frequented by locals and visitors alike. The staff make the place - friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was delicious, tasty and fresh. When we left they gave us good advice on where to go touring that day.We deliberately sought it out when we returned to North Wales and were not disappointed. If you want a meal, snack or simply a cuppa, this is the place to go.

Really friendly atmosphere and very happy and helpful staff. Visited with a party of 8, including a baby and was served a yummy breakfast. Will certainly be coming again!

Myself, 2 friends and my Granddaughter visited here yesterday for the first time. Two of us had the brunch bap, which was delicious. My friend had the baked potato with prawns, also delicious. My Granddaughter had a toasted sandwich of ham, cheese & pineapple. She thoroughly enjoyed it but couldn’t manage it all so the kind member of staff boxed it up for her to take home. The baked potato and sandwich came with a small salad and really tasty rice & peppers. Overall enjoyable lunch with friendly staff and clean surroundings. Will be returning thank you

Always have excellent food here. The chicken burger is fab, and the mixed roasts are always the best. Very reasonably priced and always get good, big portions. The owner and staff are lovely; always attentive and very friendly. I would highly recommend!

We have been frequent visitors here and have had good and some really bad meals. Quite pricey for the overall standard though. Whilst the staff are friendly, the owner is somewhat less accommodating, especially when it comes to sorting out any genuine complaints with the food. Was even given dirty glasses at one point by the owner herselft because we complained that our little girl's spaghetti bolognese was actually off!!! Be warned as the owner is unable to accept responsibilty and deal with any reasonable complaints properly!

Visited Home from Home to try the Christmas menu and so pleased we did, a great place to eat and the staff are always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, food is always delicious whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner can't recommend highly enough we will certainly be back

First time here and booked for a lunch. We were greated with a lovely smile and made very welcome. All the staff were very attentive without being obtrusive. The food was fantastic. If you book would recommend asking for a table at the rear of the restaurant as it has a little more ambience than the front.

Visiting Llandudno for another couple of days and headed to Home from Home for an evening meal on both evenings. As always, staff exceptionally friendly, can’t do enough for you. Good choice on menu, large portions, food delicious. It does fell like home from home.

Our second visit to Home from Home and both times the food has been outstanding. We have visited on a Sunday and had Sunday Lunch which was excellent. We have also visited during the week and eaten a two course meal from the set menu which again was excellent. We would highly recommend eating here and will be visiting again! Delicious!

Attended today with 2 friends, busy but found a table in the window. Waitress attended to take drinks order and then returned for food order. Lovely pot of tea with a good sized cup. Food arrived really hot fabulous omelette really filling. Waitress very attentive and helpful, later checked to see all was ok.

We booked (luckily) for a 1 o'clock table. Fabulous service, fabulous food. We will definitely be back. I strongly recommend booking!

We visited Llandudno on Thurs July 4th for first time for my birthday.. on Saturday we were stuck around 7pm for food and passed this little gem of a place.... Even though busy they still found us a table for two which we were realy grateful for.. Good service and local lager went down a treat.. Loved it all.. Thnks keep up good work we will be back

First time eating there for us,,we had soup to start with,which was a massive change to what we come to have served in other places,nice and thick with fresh bread,We had the haddock gujons,served with homemade chips and salad,which,was far better than any chip shop i have visited,and the staff are very friendly and very accommadating,i recommend anybody to pop and have a meal with a difference

Took a friend for lunch, she recommended as she has eaten here before. She had the garlic mushrooms in an oven dish in garlic cream topped with cheese with a garnish of dressed salad and a garnish of cold pasta, pea, mint salad. She raved about this. I was tempted and went for the full breakfast, just great, good quality bacon, sausages, black pudding etc

Just visited Home from Home in Penryhn Bay with a relative's birthday treat. We can honestly say that we have been visiting Cheryl and her team for more than 10 years and the food and service are 10 out of 10 . Thanks Home from Home you never let us down

Went here for the first time on a family trip and ordered dinner meals in the evening.

A wonderfull dinner with our friends before departing home to South Africa. All our meals were outstanding and the service exceptional. Until next time

Visiting the area and remember this wonderful cafe from 9 years ago. Can't fault it, Council could help with parking tho as 40 minute limit near cafe isn't helpful.

Roast pork was very poor thin & tasteless.. Not very warm & vegetables tasteless & over cooked & boring. The Eton Mess desert which is usually delicious was very poor. Consisted of big lumps of meringue in a small amount of whipped cream with a few berries. I have eaten here many times & always delighted with the food but this was definitely an off night! My friend too commented on her Eton Mess & said she thought it was nowhere as delicious as we have had before. I didn't complain as my husband & I were there as part of a celebration meal & didn't. want to spoil things for our friends. My husband was equally disappointed with his meal. We do feel the menu is due a change. too.

We came across this restaurant by sheer chance whilst looking to eat early on a Saturday evening. We had the chicken breast which was accompanied by loads of vegetables. In truth we were over-faced by the amount of food and we thought that the quantity came slightly at the expense of the quality. However we could not possibly say the same about the dessert that we had which was the fresh fruit crumble. That was delicious and we would fully recommend that particular dish.

We always visit here when in the area as you are guaranteed good fresh food! We visited for brunch and dinner in one day because we love it here so much. The scrambled egg was beautiful and evening meal was incredible, the choice on the menu is fantastic. Highly recommend anyone to visit

Roast beef meal came out very luke warm, almost on the cold side.

Breakfast here was brilliant, quality ingredients and good service. Slightly too exspensive in my eyes but don’t let that put you off, you pay for what you get.

I waited half an hour for food for a waitress to then come over to inform us that they didn’t have any Panini‘s😡and they still charged us for our drinks, certainly won’t be going back there!

Eaten here for the second time and just as good as I remembered, we don't live in this area so only get to go when visiting friends, we would definitely go regularly if we lived closer. Great choice of dishes and all cooked fresh to order, very pleasant staff and reasonable prices.

Excellent place on the outskirts of Rhos On Sea. Styled more as a cafe but offering excellent food. We have had a three course Xmas meal which also included good coffee selection and warm mince pies. For a very competitive £23.93, lovely starters which included mega king prawns, or steak diane strips. Main courses were traditional turkey or belly pork. Desserts included absolutely to die for rice pudding, xmas pudding. One thing was no extra for the cheese plate which suits my wife. Service is attentive and plenty of staff so no waiting around when they're busy. Pleasant atmosphere. Tables and chairs are comfortable.Only slight comment is the place is warmed (and cooled) with air conditioning which can be a little irritating. Overall, very tasty and well presented food, as good if not better than a top end gastro pub.

Have regularly had coffee at this restaurant but this was the first time I had eaten here. Lovely choice of food, piping hot, beautifully presented, generous portions and delicious. There were some nice touches eg water glasses came with a twist of lemon. Will definitely be eating here again.

I have reviewed Home from Home before and it is a regular for us although we live in Cheshire we feel it is well worth the journey. We cannot believe that in a relatively small place there are such talented Chefs. The waitresses were as usual pleasant and friendly even though they were very busy. The meals were delicious and the Christmas menu was imaginative and very reasonably priced. Obviously booking would probably be required at this time of year, but I can't recommend it enough. Well done to the staff yet again.

I visited here today with my mum and have been a regular customer over the years. I'm normally the type that puts up with service etc even when it's bad. My mum ordered scrambled egg on toast which she has had here on previous visits. When her meal arrived the egg had dark coloured bits in it as if it had caught at the bottom of the pan and didn't taste fresh. The toast was partly done and cold. She was grumbling and I told her to tell them if she wasn't happy. As I was saying this she then found a hair mixed in to the egg. At that point she called the waitress over who was very polite and apologised. The waitress said she would send the other lady over who seemed to be in charge when she could. About 10 minutes later the other lady came over and as my mum explained what was wrong the lady said very rudely "I'm the owner I know exactly how the scrambled eggs are made" she just wanted to get in to an argument. She even disagreed about the hair in the eggs. I've never experienced such a rude person in an eating establishment. When we went to the till my mum said again it's usually nice the scrambled egg in here and yet again the owner did not apologise and was rude again. She also said well I haven't charged you for it in a rude manner. As I walked out I said I'm not coming back here your so rude.

We were visiting Penrhyn and had lunch at Home from Home. We really enjoyed it. We had a pasta dish and the home made veg burger. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, very impressed.

Lived in the area for 9 years, but first time we've been for a meal in the evening, wished I been earlier. It was a nice foody experience. Nice atmosphere and good choice of meals. Like the odd option which includes a free drink.If you not tried it, l would recommend you try it. You will not be disappointed.

We stumbled across this place on the first night of our holiday. There was nowhere to park in LLandudno so we had a drive out in search of food. Home from Home is 5-10 minutes from Llandudno centre in the car. Given that it was a Saturday evening, we were lucky to get a walk-in table as the place was quite busy. Home from Home is bigger than it looks from the outside and stretches quite a way back. My husband and I both ordered the chicken and ham pie from the specials list and my son ordered the chicken burger. The waitress had no problems with us asking if the burger could come completely plain. The food was delicious: scrummy home made chips and our pie was packed with chunks of chicken (and came with a little jug of gravy). My husband and I ordered the fruit crumble for dessert and it was AMAZING. My son had said he was too full for dessert but ended up sharing mine and described it as "the best pudding ever". All in all, if you like quality, home made, traditional food and a cosy atmosphere, give Home from Home a try. Our waitresses were really friendly and efficient too. We hope to call in again before our holiday is over.

One of the nicest meals I've had. This is a traditional British style restaurant but the talented chef has a unique artistic style creating great tasting food. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has great decor giving it a very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Had a very nice evening meal for 5 of us, every item different and freshly cooked, proper homemade chips! They do a brilliant value evening meal for £15 that is two courses selected from a good choice of starter, main and sweet, plus a glass of wine.The homemade burger was probably the best I've ever had, huge and very juicy, the hand battered haddock goujons hot, crispy and very nice indeed, could not fault the place, reasonable priced for homemade food that is well cooked and presented, very pleasant staff too, we will definitely return

Walking the coastal path, at Angel Bay, met a lady with a dog who told us her granddaughter ,Seren,worked in a cafe nearby. We went there for a coffee and liked it so much that we booked for an evening meal two days later. We were not disappointed ;good choice on the early evening set meal, lovely prawn starter ,steak and chips and the desserts looked good too. You would be advised to book.

We came here last week, for lunch. We were greeted by a smiling waitress, who was lovely. Our lunch, different dishes were tasty and enjoyable.We were well looked after by the waiting staff. We were having a pleasant time until we went to pay.

We was in rhos on sea for the weekend and had planned to go for food elsewhere, but was let down by the lack of choice on the menu. With a a very hungry pregnant wife we desperately rang home from home in the hope of getting some grub. They squeezed the four of us in with very quick service and excellent food. Having read all the glowing reviews of this establishment I find myself wondering if it was the same place my friends and I visited.......I can only assume our waitress was having an off day when she served us our coffee! There was no smile, no interaction at all and when we ordered a second cup we didn't even receive it........think it was probably because we were only ordering hot drinks and not food but it was only 11 am..

Just enjoyed our second visit today. Seven of us booked for 4pm we all ordered something different and out food was delivered to the table at the same time. Really tasty home cooking. I ordered the gammon and it was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend you give this restaurant a try. We will be back for sure. This venue got a Trip advisor award for 2016 and I'm not surprised, We went to Home from Home (near the road up the Little Orme to Llandudo) to try their Christmas meal. We were surprised how big this restaurant is - from the road it looks like a café. I enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup, obviously homemade. The turkey dinner came with all the trimmings and 4 veg, and interestingly and enjoyably had an apricot and herbs stuffing, The Xmas pudding was absolutely delicious, a real treat, with brandy sauce (like a sort of custard). Coffee and hot mince pie counted as part of the 3-course meal. We would definitely go again.

This was my third time at Home from Home now, and it truly is the best breakfast I've ever had! Myself and my partner always go for the "Full on Breakfast" which is absolutely ginormous with double of everything including hash browns! All at a very low cost and even includes a coffee. We do live local but tend to stop of here en route to travelling further afield to set us up for the day, and it has definitely done the trick each time! Using my favourite famous local Edwards Of Conwy sausages! I have heard great things about the evening menu also, but am yet to try so will definitely try in the not so distant future. The staff are always so lovely, warm and welcoming in here and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We ordered traditional breakfast and homemade chicken pasta they were large portions, it came with tea and toast overall very nice food friendly staff couldn't finish so they put pasta in a takeaway carton :)

Love home from home, always amazing food always freshly baked using fresh local produce. Always a lovely smiley bright place to sit, chat , eat and drink. The coffee and tea is always lovely and presented with a short bread biscuit. Its a treat!
