Visited last night . Very average food . Awful service . The waitress’ were miserable and didn’t smile at us once. One literally came over and said ‘ are u done with that’ in a very rude manor as if we were being rushed out the venue. Won’t be rushing to return.

Great food and service for a full house on a Friday night. We went for the chef's recommendation rather than second guess what and how much to order. For £25 per person, there was plenty of food and extremely tasty. Service was prompt and polite considering how busy it was. We had been recommended this place for a while and I wish we had gone earlier. We'll be back soon.

Food was amazing with a lovely atmosphere! All our servers were amazing and very helpful. When wondering what drink to Lewis on the bar was so amazing and wonderful and chose the perfect drink for us, even though it was very busy! helped us out so much!! 10/10 would recommend!

We have been to Home lots of times and always really loved it, however this time it was extremely disappointing. We chose to order the new Chefs Special deal, that was £25pp. It was advertised as follows "Let our chef send all their favourite dishes to your table by choosing ‘Chefs choice Menu’. This will include our weekly specials. Please ask your server for more information.£25 PER PERSON'. We both decided to do this and were sent flatbread and hummus, olives, pork belly, katsu cauliflower, fish pakoras and a portion of chips (bare in mind this is tapas, so not huge portions). We asked the waitress if this was all we got, as it didn't seem enough for the money. She checked with the chef and they said it was. I looked at the menu and calculated the price of all the dishes individually and it was only £39, so £11 less than what we would be paying! We then spoke to the waitress again and she said the kitchen would send something else, so I chose the beef birria tacos to add to our meal for free. These came out extremely burnt and inedible. We spoke to the waitress again (who was amazing btw!) and she said she would speak to the manager. When she brought the bill, she had individually priced the dishes, not including the tacos, for us to pay. I think it is very bad that they are advertising the chefs special as more than what it is worth! We will unfortunately not be returning after this.

Overall we had a great time with friends. Most of the food was very good, some was only average. The building has been very tastefully renovated. Great to see a business thriving with lots of tables filled but as they are fairly close together it makes it very loud. As they were very busy it took a little while to get served drinks. But certainly a nice place to go.

Lovely and attentive staff, wonderful vibrant atmosphere, food hit or miss. My table was generally unhappy with the quality of the food we ordered and the quantity of food we got for the price. From the inedible steak, to getting just 4 baby squid for £8 and the raw potatoes as well as inconsistent portion sizes. I could go on with the issues but the point is that the food leaves some to be desired, which is particularly disappointing considering last month I had a fantastic meal there. I will point out we were offered a replacement meal when we mentioned the steak (at no additional charge) and did receive a discount due to the issues with the food. As general advice to people, when ordering your meal ask about the portion sizes.

Chose Home because it's local to us and enticed by the offer of 3 for 2 tapas. We ordered 6 and every dish had a fault with it, either overcooked, bland, too small etc. The only saving grace was the Cab Sav wine which was lovely. Apparently what we ordered hadn't satisfied the T&Cs of the 3 for 2, so we had a very expensive, poor meal. Would not return.

The atmosphere is very "homely" but still has a sense of occasion particularly upstairs. The food was amazing. Two or three dishes per person was plenty. The staff were very friendly and efficient too. Can't wait to come again so I can try all the other things on the menu!

We loved the food. Found the huge interior mirrors a bit weird! However it’s a must try and I would go back to try the rest of the menu. The staff were nice, could have been a bit more friendly and on it but can’t fault the food at all. We had five dishes between us not 6. And a dessert. I think that the meatballs were the best!

Really good spot for tapas. Waitress (Leah)was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, helped me order as not really done tapas before lol. Overall experience was excellent 👌🏽

Food was good, service was very poor. Rushed and rushed us to take an order. When we were presented with the sweet menu we were left for a while and then told that we couldn't order because we had to give up our table in 20 minutes. This spoiled our meal out.

Went for a meal with friends and had a great evening. The service was exceedingly attentive without being too much, servers appeared miraculously when you needed something and were clearly well briefed. The food was delicious and there was a good choice in each section, the cauliflower with a blue cheese sauce option was particularly good! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making a nice evening out into a a really special evening out.

Food was top drawer, small portions but cheap enough to order multiple servings, platters were ace and halumi burgers were fabulous, service was good but staff have zero bants and not much personality, maybe thats the youth of today or management orders to be effient but bland.Our waiter kept banging his head on the lights which was about as good as the banter got. We ordered five tapas dishes to share . Four were really nice , but the pork belly was maybe overdone a bit , which made it a bit tough . I'm not one to complain on the day , so I left it at that . Service was very friendly , but a bit thin on the ground , not their fault as it seems similar everywhere you go these days . Both of our drinks were excellent , my wife had a white wine , and I had a pint of IPA . I can't really comment on the atmosphere , as it was very quiet whilst we were there , yet another sign of the times.. Would probably go again , and maybe not order the belly pork this time..

We were greeted by a very welcoming young lady who quickly showed us to a table of our choice. Our meal was both nicely cooked and presented. Haloumi Fries, Hasselback potatoes for our starters - both decent size portions for starters. Followed by Tuna and Rump Steak for mains - two portions of chips, although one would have been sufficient to share. Great range of gluten free options to choose from.

Very disappointing. Untrained uncaring staff who did the bare minimum. Noisy pub like atmosphere. Asked staff 3 times to turn down thumpy music to no effect. Had paid £40 deposit for 8 people to reserve table. Place was nearly empty on a Saturday night. They "forgot"to take the £40 of the bill until challenged. Won't be back. They need to invest in training and basics if they are to stay open. Food ok but average.

Wow what a find this little gem was! Massive portions of really tasty flavoursome food served by very attentive staff . We had 3 dishes each and several bottles of the very lovely house white , all in all a very lovely evening and we will be back . The pork belly was a taste sensation !!!

Visited as a group of couples, each ordering 3 dishes alongside nibbles as starters. I don’t have a single complaint about any of the food, the portions were pretty big for tapas and full of flavour and in terms of the food/quality etc I’d happily return. Unfortunately, felt the staff let it down and dampened the experience. There was one young man with blond hair who was very friendly and interactive when bringing drinks but other than that there was very little personality in the staff, no consideration for the basics in terms of “would you like a drink” “is everything ok for you” etc etc When we did order a round of drinks as our food was arriving, this took quite some time that most of us were half way through our food and sat without a drink to help wash it down and had to chase up the order as thought it had been forgotten. It may seem like nit picking but for myself, your staff and how they present and interact are a reflection of your restaurant and unfortunately, on this evening, they really let down an otherwise really lovely restaurant and enjoyable evening.

It was ok. The dishes are very generous in size so if you're not a big eater, 2 dishes are plenty. Some dishes were a hit - fish and chips, scallops, courgette fritters, cauliflower and arranchi balls. Some not so great - calamari needed longer in the fryer, tandoori fish was tasteless and the fennel was inedible and the katsu was just tasteless and the sauce too stodgy. So a mixed bag. Lovely little restaurant. Had the afternoon tea and it was great. Loads of food and enjoyed every bit of it.

I asked a waitress if they could do something for my friends 30th Birthday and the owner rudly interrupted and just said 'no'. After standing there in silence and in shock, he then said "what exactly do you expect us to do? You should have booked the birthday desert 4 weeks ago". So my friend got nothing to make the meal feel special on her 30th, and it was her first time out after having her first baby. I wouldn't mind, but it was a week night at 5pm, so they were dead anyway. We were all very sad at the lack of attention and service, when other places quite simply bring out a sparkler to make those special occasions feel special. The food was fine but the bill took 45 minutes to come and it was quiet still. Very very very disappointed and wouldn't recommend anyone eating there. I won't be putting money in the owners pocket when he's so heartless ever again.

The food was mediocre at best, but for us it's the feeling of not being welcome that topped it off. We have been a few times because we like to give local places a chance and feel it's important to support local businesses. Based on the frosty reception received from the staff my party and I won't be going back again. Were not sure if it's the colour of our skin or not but other tables seemed to be treated differently and they were all white. We'll spend our well earned money elsewhere from now on. We don't usually post reviews like this but was really upset by the experience and in this day and age.
