This is a really good takeaway generous portions and reasonable prices varied menu and plenty of choice for vegetarians.

Excellent food, very good quality to other similar take outs, the food was delicious and a very good price for what you get! Will definitely be returning!

Disappointed! Extremely salty! Binned it after a couple of mouthfuls. Inedible - I never complain and I will literally eat anything, but this was awful! Good job it was cheap

I have neverI 40 years of eating Chinese food from various takeaways experienced anything as bad as the chicken curry that was served It has a separate layer of oil sat on top of something that was brown allegedly curry Whatever you do please avoid this place it’s revolting

Only ordered 2 dishes, wonton soup (had to pour the soup away and rinse wontons it was so salty, literally diluted soy sauce) and Singapore noodles (spicy but just 2 prawns and dry miniscule shreds of pork). Won't be returning. Waste of money.

Good good, warm and nice and fresh. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Very helpful. Would recommend going to this take away.

Used to be very good about 15 years ago. Went for tea and when we got it home wished we hadn't bothered it was tasteless and very greasy threw must of the meal in bin and even the bin spat it out. DISGUSTING!!!

Placed a large order for a big group of people, got most of the items we ordered but some dishes were missing and 3 people went without their food - we rang to say 3 dishes were missing even though we had paid for these - unfortunately they would not co-operate on the phone, were unwilling to resolve the issue or refund us for the £20.00 of food we did NOT receive. We don't do takeaways so this was a one off for a birthday treat, we were left disappointed and we wont be using them again - they were too adamant to admit they got it wrong just because the correct order was written down in front of them and they weren't very professional in dealing with it as the manager chose to hang up mid conversation as they were TOO BUSY to sort it out - they must be pocketing extra cash from order errors that they are unwilling to sort out and issue any refunds for. Sometimes you have to hold your hand up and admit you are wrong - but they won't and its a shame for them as it is nice to support your local shops but it also works both ways!!

Was really looking forward to our first Chinese in a long time, we got a mixed starter for 2, beef chow mien and chicken mushroom and chips. It was all tasteless, the chow mien just tasted of oil, the chicken mushroom and chips wasn’t much better, just really fatty and not much in the way of chicken or mushrooms. Really disappointed, and left most of it, just left a really fatty taste in the mouth. Definitely won’t be going back

Just ordered a take away, when eating my meal I found a used plaster in my fried rice. Absolutely horrified, I contacted the take away and at first they refused to accept responsibility. Eventually the asked me to return the next day for a refund. I found there attitude unapologetic and rude.

If I could sum this place up in one word it would be...."don't" The awful dried rancid food is expensive and you would be better going to the co-op and grabbing a chinese microwave meal from the fridge. Yes it's that bad. Can't believe they are still open after serving up that spew.

Ordered crispy duck in a lemon sauce. They put the two in the same container and the sauce soaked in to the duck making a soggy horrible mess.

Ordered a King Prawn Chop Suey a few days after they re-opened. What a disappointment - apart from the few prawns the dish consisted only of sliced onions and sliced peppers. What happened to the bamboo shoots, mushrooms and water chestnuts?

We had a take away from here - great vegan choices and for the most part the meal was great except my husband ordered veg satay and received veg curry and he was not a happy bunny! Lovely friendly service and everyone else enjoyed their food

the menu is extensive & the staff are very knowledgeable, enough to guide you to make the best selection

This place is the best Chinese in the area with fresh good tasting food and a large menu as well as friendly helpful staff have been several times and the quality of food is consistent definitely recommend

Lady that runs it is so friendly, as all the staff have always been. I adore the salt and pepper tofu here. I have been coming here years and have had several of the dishes. I have never once had a bad meal (although they did forget something once so be sure to check your order before you leave). You cannot go wrong. Definitely recommend.

Used to be a great takeaway but over recent months has gone steadily downhill. The taste isn't great and it's really overpriced. The last two times we have been to collect a takeaway, we have got home and items have been missing. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this takeaway at all and we won't be using it again.

As tourists we didn’t know to much about where the best places to eat in Hebden Bridge were, so took a risk with this place hoping for a decent meal. We were quite impressed. Other than a horrible chow mien all the other food was really tasty and actually some of the best dishes like for like I’ve tasted. Very surprised about the 3 star rating.

Disgusting. Zero effort. Don't use separate utensils/dishes for people who have allergies. Never again

We ordered late on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy and was ready on time. We took the food back to the apartment. The food was Ok but not memorable apart from the heat from the chilly pork. The menu shows one chilli. I think they put 1 bag of chilly's in the dish. We were Ok with it but it could put other customers off.

Take out only. Always had good food from here and have been a few times. The person taking orders on the phone changes a lot though.

Not as good as the original owners, who started the business many years ago. The takeaway was then taken over by their son, food was terrible, place was not looked after, health inspectors threatened to close it down, a couple from China have taken over, much improved, with some new food items, some of the food cooked differently, but not as good as the original owners.

Ordered a mix of the usual suspects, fried rice, chips, beef curry, vegetable curry, chicken balls sweet n sour, spring rolls and sausages.

I have visited this takeaway several times and, I have never been disappointed. Friendly staff and, very nice food. How people can not agree is beyond me. Very good business that's, been there years, highly recommended

You couldn't wish to find a more miserable establishment, and the food is beyond abysmal. The owners are grumpy and seem positively put out that they have to take your money in return for serving you such poor 'food'. Awful.

Pedimos desde aquí una vez, y nunca otra vez. Fue terrible, todo era sin sabor y blanda, nos lo pasamos realmente, esperar mucho para nuestra orden, y fue prácticamente fría cuando finalmente conseguir. Prefiero JK en Market Street.

Utilizamos este chino como nuestra costumbre en mytholmroyd estaba cerrado y era deliciosa; grandes porciones y de alta calidad, la comida sabrosa. El plato de carne de vacuno en el deshielo tenía la boca y la dulce y agria era sabroso. Hemos cambiado nuestro para llevar, este es mejor que nuestra habitual

No fue que era mala, no era muy buena. Teníamos la casa especial arroz, pagando £1 más de nuestro local y para nada tan buena y sabrosa. Casi todos con un arroz bastante antigua de la hambruna y el pollo de bits extraño solitarios escondidos de gambas en la esquina. Fue preparado increíblemente rápido, lo cual hace pensar…… no terminar.

He sido cliente de este establecimiento por más de 25 años. Durante ese tiempo la calidad de la comida y el servicio ha ido subiendo y bajando como un yo yo. Después de algunos meses de evitar el lugar me decidí a llamar esta noche para un llevar. Pedí un Chow Mien en gambas £6.80. La calidad de la comida era corresponder equitativamente por la indiferencia del personal contador que no pudo ser molestado para tomar sus ojos desde su teléfono inteligente. La comida se sirve para mí era nada pero un nudo de fideos, media docena de langostinos y un par de espigas de brócoli. Estaba tibia y absolutamente insípido. Dudo del desorden sobras congeladas en la bañera de plástico sirven para mí he visto dentro de un Wok, pero quizás un microondas. Hebden Bridge tiene dos alternativas. No puedo ver este lugar.

Having moored our canal boat right opposite this restaurant we only had to walk round 100 yards. We were greeted with a friendly smile and showed to our table. The extensive menu was good value for money as were the drinks. Would recommend anybody to try this place.

Have had my first try of Thai food and was really impressed with the whole experience, the food was really good ,I had the sea bass, all the food was really hot and well presented. Even though the place was busy the staff were friendly and helpful and explained all the dishes to us which made it easy to choose a dish that we would like. Quite a few of my friends had recommended we try Thai food and I wished that we had done so earlier, We will be going again!

If thas after sum good scran then this is the spot. Glow in the dark sauces just as it should be. Well worth a visit im off back next week. Double cooked chips are smashing and fabulous curry sauce.Bring it on!

Great tasty Thai food in a lovely location in Hebden. Usual amazing hospitality. Recommend the Penang Curry - Yummy.. BUT incredibly small portion sizes on the main course. Its a good job I was filled a little with a starter, free crackers and thai beer. Seriously .. a main for £10 needs to touch ones sides! BIGGER please. A funny end to the night courtesy of the biggest red beaked duck I have ever stumbled across in a toilet! ... Is by the canal I suppose!

En una ciudad realmente carece de comida para llevar decentes, existe una oportunidad real para una buena comida para llevar. Este no es el lugar. muy normal y la verdad es que no vale la pena el dinero.

This place isn't the best food you'll find in warrington, but there are much worse in town. the quality is average and it's always hot. The service is good and always quick. I think it's worth a visit if you're passing by.

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but the chips here are the best I've had in ages. Service is always polite and prompt.

After reading previous reviews I was in two minds weather or not to go but I was pleasantly surprised, I went for a meal in the evening with my husband I had the home made burger which was lovely and tasty with homemade chips and onion rings, the service was nice and friendly,

Lots of tofu options.This makes a nice change for us veggies to the standard menu option of blah blah blah with mixed vegetables. I always go for the sweet and sour tofu, its gorgeous. I like their egg fried rice and curry sauce as well which i know isnt proper chinese food but it is good. Good sized portions. Staff are polite and you are never kept waiting too long (or i never hve been).Shame they don't deliver.

I spend as much time as I can in Calderdale and I have tried the Hiu Man on numerous occasions. I can honestly say that every meal I have had from them has been excellent. The menu is varied, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous and the quality of the food has been consistently good. Their chips are among then best I have ever tasted.For anyone who loves Chinese food and wants a first class takeaway I can highly recommend the Hiu Man.

Tried this for the first time the other night, and was very disappointed. To their merit they were very busy due to all the other take away places in town being closed, but the food reminded me of Supermarket ready meals and tasted very non-descript. Will not be returning unless I hear of improvements.

Good quality chinese food although over the years the portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller and the prices gone up. There are other chinese takeaways not too far away that offer better quality and value but overall would recommend.

This chinese used to be the best chinese in the calder valey. What happened? The dishes were glutinous sloppy and "spot the chicken" . Very little meat in there very greasy. We both had the trots the next day . I wouldnt go again.

At first I really loved this chinese, but after a couple of months the food really slacked, even found hairs in a few meals, so did my parents.Considering the score on the door is only 2/5 aswell, really wouldnt bother tbh!
