A hidden gem in Islington! The food is flavorful, clean, and well priced, especially for a kitchen in london. Their team is welcoming and helpful. We always enjoyed their beryani and tikka dishes, and I would recommend to give this place a try.

Old school Indian takeaway. Food is always top notch.

NEVER JUDGE A CURRY BY IT'S SHOP FRONT. First time. Chicken tikka starter came with generous portion of juicy, spicy chicken and a small garnish of salad PLUS a delicious little sauce...mango? passion fruit? mixed with something to give it a great tang that complimented the chicken. I suspect their chicken tikka masala will be something really good. I do like a Madras. Lamb madras was hot enough with fresh coriander and a really nice gravy. Tender, decent sized chunks of lamb. Plain nan. Mmm, fresh, with tiny bit of crunchy, fluffy and very good size. The shop front is tiny but clean with some seating and magazines for while you wait. The front man was extremely polite, courteous and friendly. I am surprised he didn't sweat....the phone keeps ringing for orders this was about 7pm Sunday. They do free local delivery with their own driver for orders over £12. I think this is both good and bad. £12 is too cheap.... consequently their single driver is dashing about all over the place and therefore....some deliveries will be late. Raise it to £20 like most curry houses and then you could take on an extra driver for the busy time (presumably weekends). Price wise ..... FANTASTIC. VERY GOOD VALUE. So, forget how the shop front looks and trust your taste buds.

Local place, family run, can’t fault it - really tasty good value food and the service is amazing. Just listening to the locals when they come in, they’ve got a real genuine connection to the community. Absolutely love this place - it’s my favourite Thursday night treat!

Half Tandoori chicken, Vegetable curry, Rice, Lamb with lentils, all for £13!! The lamb was a bit tough, tandoori chicken was great! for the price I paid I cannot complain!!!

The price here is a rarity in London.. cheapest Indian meal I've ever had in the city. I ordered dall lentil soup, and I love it. My friend had korma and garlic naan. Korma was too sweet for my taste, but he seemed to enjoy it. Garlic naan was ok, more like supermarket quality. Everything was £10, fed two of us and the bag came with free poppadoms.

Take away only. Great value food.

Hidden gem, don’t be put off by the large menu, they have a super good selection. Best part is the prices. Food is a bit oily and sweet but great value for money for the price.

This is not even food, let alone indian food. I ordered vegetarian food, the gravy tastes like mango puree. I've no idea how this place is so highly rated, maybe the non veg food is good. Please never order any paneer dish here.

This place is a complete disgrace. Ordered at 8:20pm and wanted to pay by card, was told that the manager would phone and take payment. About 40 minutes later, no phone call so I phoned them. They had forgotten about the order and then Took payment over the phone. Was told that the order would be 15-20 minutes. We ended up waiting 2 hours in total for the order 10:20pm. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is horrendous, it’s a shame because the food is actually really good. To compensate, we got a small bottle of coke after spending £60 on the order. I would hope that the manager/boss/owner would have the decency to get in touch with me and try to rectify this mistake. I phoned several times and got a different time for my order every time. Absolutely horrific, I mentioned that I have a pregnant girlfriend and she needs to eat, they didn’t care whatsoever. I totally understand that it can be busy at times. Just a little call just to say that there is a delay in orders goes a long way. They just don’t care!! Avoid if you value your time.

I have only been here once or twice and although it doesn't look like much from the outside the food is absolutely delicious. The decor is 'Old School' which I like although I can see why it would put people off the prices are excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. I look forward to frequenting here soon as it has been a while :)

You honestly couldn’t get a better tasting Indian in Islington. It is consistently beautiful. The value for money is second to none. They are so friendly. Always a pleasure.

I ordered over the phone and was told to expect a hour wait, no problem, two hours later the driver calls me and starts getting rude because he can't locate my address, not my problem I've paid for the food it's their job to get it to me, after a considerate time spent on the phone this incompetent driver tries to charge me again not knowing I've spoken with is boss and was to to collect a 5 pound refund for my troubles and then that's when the driver starts accusing me of playing games, no customer service skills whatsoever and walked off with the food.I went straight to the take away shop demanded a full refund and the owner rather than just give me back my money he's insisted to put it on my card and cause me more inconvenience but it was no problems when they took the payment. Worse indian take away in London , stay far from them as if anything goes wrong they don't take responsibility. If I could give them no stars that's what they deserve

Trop bon ce resto indien a emporter. Fait un commande de variété pour 2 et pour 4. Bilan on en a eu pour 10 personnes avec une réduction de 1£. La nourriture était très bonne avec du peu ou très epicé.

I have lived in this area for over a decade and I can safely say this takeaway is run by the nicest and most skilled guys going. Personally I have my favorites, and their jalfrezi and shashlik are stunning.

Top class south asian food, good price, home made taste, best local curry shop.

I had their garlic rice with Saag Aloo and Tarkha Dhal. It was exquite and hugely flavourful for dishes that can sometimes be quite dull. This £7.50 meal was enough for two full portions so great value. I will be back again very soon!

One of the few regrets of moving away from the area is this Indian takeaway. Worth 6 stars. Amazing value for money. Forget those bland, rude and expensive curry houses you might have experienced before. Look no further.

I really like and appreciate this place. After some monster shifts at work, the guys here always manage to rustle me up a Tarka Dahl and Paratha or a chicken pakora, just before closing which helps me forget how tired I am. They themselves are probably just as tired so I am grateful. This little shop is basic but the food has always been authentic, piping hot and flavoursome.

This is a super take away/delivery tandoori. The food is no nonsense and delicious at extremely good prices. We had the king prawn tandoori. Bengali fish curry. Rice and spinach bhaji and it was less than £20

This is one of those gems that are found accidentally but make you become a regular customer. Brilliant service from staff who are willing to go the extra mile to accommodate your needs and I can honestly say the Indian food here has it's own twist as opposed to the generic taste of other Indian spots. 10/10 would recommend.

used to use this often, i was back in london a couple of weeks ago and fancied a ruby i got a tandori mixed grill and was very dissapointed it tasted of salt. far to much salt, and the meat content was very small. ive never had cause to complain in the past perhaps this was a one off,

I have been a customer for 10 years. A review is well overdue. This is an excellent Indian takeaway. When you order takeaway essentially you are after 3 things: 1/ Tasty food 2/ Prompt and friendly service 3/ Value for money This place basically ticks all three boxes. The food is unpretentious - homely food but the taste just hits the spot. Time and time again the food delivers (excuse the pun - they do deliver!) and over 10 years (probably around 500 orders) I have never been let down. The owner is the nicest man on earth and you can tell he cares about the customers. The shop has the dingiest exterior and I guess that's the only reason why there isn't a queue outside every single night.
