We visited the cafe several times plus the deer centre while staying nearby. The food was excellent, as were all of the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and the whole place had a happy atmosphere. A lovely place to work I would imagine. One of the best cafes I have visited in a long time

Popped in for lunch after our Loch Tay boat safari. Decided on the haggis panini and hubby had the french toast, bacon and maple syrup from the specials board. Both meals were very tasty and well presented. Finished with home made empire biscuits, tea and coffee which were just as good. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again next time we’re in the area.

Nice to be back, it was such a great joy to return to Highland Safari after the last lockdown, great to have a wonderful breakfast brought to your table by delightful and friendly staff. Felt very safe and well looked after. A couple of days later returned for a light lunch the soup was delicious. Many thanks for looking after everyone so well. Looking forward to seeing you soon

Stopped in here for lunch and we had a great venison burger and a fab salad with home made hummus with a flatbread. Burger was suped up with black pudding and chilli jam - “ not many things that aren’t improved by black pudding” stated my hubby!Salad was delicious and interesting with the addition of roasted veg. All CoVid measures adhered to and the lady serving in the shop (with ponytail and glasses on Sunday 11th) had just amazing people skills - she was so cheery and welcoming! We’ve previously seen the owl fly and met the red deer and that was really worth doing too!Would come back just for the cafe!

After a lovely weekend with our family we went to the Highland Safaris cafe for a grand finale breakfast before we went our separate ways. Our hotel couldn’t provide breakfast, and the reviews for this place on Trip Advisor were excellent. They were right - it was superb. A wonderfully warm welcome from all the staff, especially the lovely waiter; a delightful setting inside and out; a general feeling of warmth and humour, excellent service, and an absolutely delicious breakfast. Our little granddaughter aged 17 months was welcomed and catered for. Altogether a very lucky find, and thoroughly recommended.

This was our first visit to this hidden gem but it won’t be our last. We were gifted a Highland Safari trip and decided to have lunch here before we went. What a pleasant experience!!! Staff were so attentive, without being “over the top”. You could tell that they took pride in their restaurant and cared about the customer experience. Not only that but the food was excellent!!! My wife had carrot, beetroot and feta soup with chives, served with a cheese scone!! Sounds weird, I know, but it was delicious. I had a “boring” ham toastie with locally sourced cheddar and beetroot chutney- superb!!! I also had a fruit scone with cream and jam. Both it and my wife’s scone were super light and tasted fantastic. I would highly recommend this place and it was exceptionally reasonably priced for the quality of food they serve. Well done to everyone who works here!!!

We decided to stop here as I'd read that the viewing areas for the deer are free, and it did not disappoint - we saw lots of them fairly close! We also saw the owl, although not through one of their sessions. We ended up having a look around the shop and decided to stay for lunch in the café which was brilliant service and wonderful food! Very worthwhile stop and I'd be happy to come back and check out one of their safari tours.

We came here as we had booked a Safari for later in the day and having not been able to park in Aberfeldy We decided to try the cafe, it was just great, from the warm welcome from the staff to the good food on the menu. I had a tasty bowl of soup with a very cheesy scone and my husband had a lovely mixed chicken salad with a good dressing. Stopped for lunch. I had carrot and coriander soup. Tasted superb, perfectly seasoned, though only warm. Would have liked it a little hotter. The bread accompanying it was the best I have tasted for a long time. My wife had the quiche, which was tasty though was really a flan! The quiche society would definitely have had it under the trades description! Served with a small salad. Overall, absolutely lovely, except for the price, which was top price for what is a"cafe" . For what we paid I would have expected a larger quantity. But these criticisms made it was very enjoyable and "top quality".

Following an excellent mountain safari, we visited the cafe for coffee and cake. My wife is, unfortunately, confined to a gluten free diet but was most impressed by the selection of GF goodies available. She was further impressed by the care taken by the server to prevent any possibility of cross contamination - washed his hands before handling the GF cake chosen, used a dedicated towel and a dedicated knife to cut said cake. (P.S. she says the cake was scrummy!)

My husband and I had a lovely lunch today at Highland safari. We both had a veggie haggis burger which was excellent. It is a lovely setting. Will definitely be back here.

We have already had two fantastic meals on our return to Kenmore.Although the menu is reduced from previously, the quality of food is excellent and there is a reasonable selection to choose from. My wife and I have both had the venison and stroganoff which with the smoked salmon and crayfish adds up to a delicious meal.Heather and all the staff are very attentive to all their customers and could not do more to make the dining experience one to savour. We are staying in Kenmore for another 12 days and will certainly go back many more times. It is unusual to find a restaurant of such quality in a holiday resort, but long may it cotinue

From the welcome as we entered the restaurant to the final sip of perfect wine pairings we were utterly enraptured in the whole experience. Sommelier Jamie Cruz and the waiting team provided the perfect evening, taking time to explain every aspect of food and wine. Jamie’s knowledge on wines, liqueurs and whisky (yes we quizzed him on that too) was exceptional. Of course, we mustn’t forget the chefs who produced a menu to delight even the most discerning of customers. Thank you - we will definitely return to this amazing restaurant within Fonab Castle Hotel.

Went to Crieff for a short break and came here for a few drinks and some food. Really clean. Friendly staff. Very chatty and welcoming. Good pub grub choices on the menu. I had scampi and my wife had chicken fajita wrap. Can’t fault the place.

It was by chance we had a booking at Knock Castle but it proved a delight. A classic old building tastefully renovated and with a superb Menu in the main restaurant. Our host was coureous and attentive and spent some time with us before preparing our three course meal, much of which was local produce. Couldn't fault our experience and enjoyed the stay.
