Yet again we have had a great meal .I had the bird and beast burger and my wife had the cob salad I also had the sauce side all great.

Very slow service seeing us ready to pay bit confining us to walk past us and very expensive how did you make these prices £25 for a burger takes the mick

The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend going to the Hickory's.

Not my scene but if you like masses of meat, and you have children, ideal. A bit pricey but good service and attentive staff

It was a huge hype about that place. But food was weak. Barely any meet in my sandwich. They forget open the door, was extremely cold. Food not came in a same time for all the party.

Came in for food as a last minute decision on Easter Sunday. This was the first time I've ever been to a Hickorys. I was not disappointed. The food and service was great. Will definitely visit again soon.

Very nice food and the staff are great, however the lighting is poor way to dark you cant see what your eating, make an improvement add more lighting to dingy. Othrwise lovely

The welcoming was wonderful, we were attended to as soon as we stepped through the door. 1 min and we were seated and had menus and popcorn. Sadly that is as far as the the good part goes, we waited almost 40 min before we saw anyone attend to us for orders. We left the place as there was no point being there anymore. Will probably not be returning here again.

Always have a great time here,food is amazing and staff are all really friendly even tho it's always busy they all do a fabulous job,our favourite place to have a treat meal

The staff we're extremely helpful and the food was excellent. The height access bar to the carpark was locked when I was about to leave, and they kindly unlocked it for me.

We came here for a big birthday celebration! The atmosphere is great with the restaurant was quite busy with a mixture of families and friends. The decor is quite dark with loud background music. We had a large table at the back by the exit and toilets. We all had something different, the food was great and all came out together which is a bonus. It was fresh, hot and the portion sizes were generous. Some people managed a dessert. The drinks were nice but pricey. When we arrived we had water put on the table and a packet of popcorn, which is a nice touch. Right by our table was the movie room. playing different films through the evening with cinema style seating. There are very cute huts outside for eating too, with their own heating source or be great in the summer. The service was good throughout the meal. We will definitely be visiting again.

Food was good, although my bourbon sauce seemed very hot with chilli which spolit it a bit. Service was pretty good apart from bringing the mains before we had finished starters and then not clearing the started but leaving it all crowded on the table. Happy birthday sung and fountain candle in a donut was produced without prior arrangement which was a nice touch.

The closest thing to real American barbecue to be found in the UK outside of London.

We love Hickory's! We went as a family group, I rang ahead to ask the manager for a quiet table, as some of my group ( me included) are autistic. We were seated separately in an area by ourselves which was ideal. Thank you. The food was well received, the only criticism was I ordered the brisket Mac n cheese which had too much of the brisket gravy in it and did not taste like Mac n cheese. The brisket main was lovely, my favourite, and I had the chilli cheese fries. My daughters shared corn dogs, then gumbo which was a bit bland. My youngest daughter had the 3am Mac n cheese, which she loves. Iove the shakes here, my daughters like the cherry cream soda and the cotton candy cocktail. My brother had steak, and was impressed by the generous portion sizes. He complimented me afterwards on my choice of restaurant! We had a good night. The server was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely return 😊

Good selection of American food

We decided to check this one out after visiting the Shrewsbury one! 10000% better!!! Atmosphere so much nicer. Super accommodating with any requests! We had the brisket sub each, the pork belly bites with blue cheese sauce each and side of corn dogs! The food was delicious and portion sizes were big which we loved! Unfortunately got no photos cause we were so hungry 😅 the drinks and milkshakes were amazing too! We will be back in a couple of weeks for our anniversary so can't wait! 🥰 The staff are so friendly and always have a chat with you! Thank-you! 😀

I’ve been going to hickory’s for a long time now and i usually have the half a mixed platter and swap the chicken wing for extra sausage never had a problem until today where the head chef would not do this apparently he is new I jus thought it was very unprofessional as I spend roughly 150£ each time and seems he wanted to be funny over some sausage. although service was good the food wasn’t as good as it usually is maybe it’s the new head chef maybe it was because he upset me maybe it was over something so little but felt so unprofessional would not be going back to the worcster one. wall Heath one is amazing food is always up to standard unlike worcster it’s always on an off.

Found the breakfast far too sweet.

Forced tips unless you speak to the manager. Hickories responded saying you can take it off if you wish. As stated in the review. We were told by staff you need to speak to a manger to get the tip taken off.

Staff were friendly, waited ages for our food order to be taken, food came out pretty fast. Food was.good Getting the bill seemed difficult then we had an item charged we did not order, it was taken odd pretty swiftly once we got someone to come take the payment.

Overall a good place to eat. Smokehouse platter is definitely best value for money. For a bit more money you get 3-4 other people's main meals.

Food was nice but not great for the price. The dish I originally asked for wasn’t available and wasn’t told till I’d ordered. The dessert had sat a long time before being served and the ice cream was mostly melted. Table not the cleanest.

Clean good food great service and very friendly staff

Our party size was 11. Meals were brought out together, and from everyone's comments were very tasty and very filling. Portion size was very good. My personal meal was a beef / chicken burger with fries. The burger was juicy and very tasty, I would recommend. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant, especially for families.

Honestly I was so disappointed with Hickory’s today. The portions are normally very large and filling, this is no longer the case at all. Went for a birthday meal and each menu item ordered had drastically reduced in size leaving the party hungry. However, staff were excellent and did make special efforts for the birthday. I’d say it’s no longer worth the price at all and won’t be visiting again sadly, such a shame too.

Great food cannot fault it. Service not so waiting staff very inattentive. Waited long time for any attention. Ordering drink etc. Took more than half an hour to get to pay the bill.

Absolutely superb. Food was wonderful and was really impressed that they had a seperate gluten free menu! My meal and even my drinks had allergy warnings on them. Anybody who is allergic to Gluten, you can't go wrong here! Highly recommend

Food is amazing, very catering to intolerances, was quiet on this visit as went during the day. There’s a random room with cinema chairs at the back, which I didn’t stick my head fully in, but seems like a photo spot. Toilets have sanitary products and deodorant available without an extra charge. Parking is free past the Hickories gates for customers. BBQ food done right

Adam is great, I love Adam, Adam deserves a promotion. Brought me my diet Coke in record time when the other waiter forgot it. Brilliant. All staff should aspire to be like Adam.

Our first time visiting a Hickory’s and we were so impressed. The food was amazing, with special mention to the southern fried chicken and Alabama chocolate fudge cake 😍 The staff were lovely and helpful in regard to allergies. They gave good tips on the menu and even surprised my daughter with a special treat. We were only visiting Worcester for the day and we wish we had a Hickory’s near where we live. Highly recommend!

Lively atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Great choice on the menu, very authentic American food which was full of flavour. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks or food. Generous portion sizes.

First time visiting the Worcester branch, very well located as we were staying a night at the Premier inn. Just as good service and food as usual. We ordered the platter for 2 to share between 3, and we were still tucking into the doggy bag leftovers days later! Star of the show was the beans with pulled pork and beef brisket, but the ribs, wings and sausage were still brill. Beer was great as per, as was the free popcorn. Big shout out to the servers here, absolutely awesome friendly service despite it being so late in the evening.

Service was fantastic Main meals were delicious, if you like your meat it's definitely the place to go. Pudding was somewhat disappointing though, the 'golden' french toast was burnt and and way too much whipped cream for the portion.

This is our new place to go for food now. Staff were absolutely amazing Had a drink at the bar as we were early. Welcomed to the table with a bottle of water and popcorn. We had the smokehouse platter and it was cooked to perfection

We’ve been here many times before but we decided to come tonight for an early birthday meal just myself and my partner. We didn’t have a reservation but they seated us almost immediately after getting some drinks at the bar. When I tell you the service went above and beyond - it was some of the best customer service we’ve ever had here. From the wonderful gentleman on the bar who made a wickedly sweet and delicious PLAIN cream sofa for my partner and was just genuinely such a darling - our server who surprised my partner with a flight of cream sodas as a birthday treat (the lemon curd one needs to be on the menu!!!) and took care of every need; he was the biggest sweetheart and a credit to the restaurant! And finally - to the manager who took care of our desserts because we had to be moved to the bar towards the end of the meal (I got to listen to the music better so it was a win win for all!). We’ve had such an exceptionally spectacular time and felt so taken care of. Thank you for making the birthday celebrations that little bit more special - it’s people like you and places like this that keep us coming back! Absolute gems to the team! If you come for anything…. Come for the Texas Pie!

So cosy even the customer service makes you feel at home. It was my first time going out to hickory’s so me and my partner got the share platter and my god it was perfect. So highly recommend it to people who want to try out a bunch to find what they prefer !! Parking was right outside and they had seating inside and out; the outside sheets even had blankets .

Always delivers. Pale ale and ribs with a Gumbo starter this time. Beans on the side. Too much!!...

Nice food and very large portions, you will not go home hungry. Great service and staff. Be careful of the extra tip that is added to the bill 💵 we did not pay it but left our own tip for the waiter.

I have visited twice with my extended family. Won't be going back. Had to go to the bar to get a drink two times. Barely saw a staff member. Coffee cups from the start of our visit- not cleared away. So staff struggled to get plates on table... but still not cleared. Food feels over priced to me. It's ok food, high prices. And to add insult to injury, we had to pay for the poor service. Adding a service charge is a really awful idea. Tipping should be optional and based on service.

Prices not too friendly but a good place if you want to try the American experience.

Went for my son's birthday, first visit Very good atmosphere, nice and busy. Staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming. Our sever was very nice. Dealt well the allergies that one of our party had. Food was very good and plenty of it.{ You may need a doggy bag ;) }

Booked a meal for my wife's birthday, to start service was great from Morgan helpful and attentive, but at some point they must have changed shifts and service went a lot slower, I understand it was a Saturday night at it was busy, but towards the end was left very disappointed, everyone who had events and birthdays there has a special treat. We had nothing and a big bill at the end with the tip included in the price, I was reluctant to pay but the original server was very good. The starters we had were tiny the bacon ends, chicken wings, and southern fried chicken 3 small pieces for £7.99 was a complete rip off in my opinion. The main meals were fine but again very overpriced, we spend in total with drinks one round for 4 people £150 we left feeling disappointed after and a surprise birthday party let down.

I’ve had to remove my 5 star review. Unfortunately hickory’s is not what it once was. I visited for my birthday meal as I do every year. Over the years the portion sizes have shrunk to a point where I can no longer see the value. Our two person meal came to £70 and we left hungry. On top of this, it was incredibly cold in the building with a cold draft constantly hitting our table. Yes heaters were provided to combat this, but they were not working, according to the manager the buildings electricity couldn’t cope with the extra emergency heating and would trip the fuse. Its a real shame as it’s the first time I’ve been disappointed, this is coming from some who really does celebrate their birthday here every year and was a avid user of the hickories at home during Covid. Even though we were visibly cold (wearing coats) asked for a working heater (twice before the manager told us what’s up) there was no kind gesture for the inconvenience. Nor were there any birthday treats like I’ve received in the past (hasn’t happened very often but it’s nice when it does) Food still tasted great 👍

As we went in the place was absolutely freezing,really freezing. People in there wearing coats,manager offered us a blanket. I said we might aswell eat outside in the cold,he said there kitchen fans weren't working so doors were open. Absolutely disgusting way to expect people to eat in them conditions. We were going to go and he offered us another seat with a mobile heater. Can't believe the place was open,it was freezing outside and freezing inside. Not good at all, Birthday celebrations ruined by people being cold 🥶

Very loud place to eat, they seem to cram everyone into the same area when they’re not very busy. Food is fairly mediocre and not really much choice. Prices are on the steep side and why not keep the popcorn coming given the money you spend on the meal. Staff are very friendly and do everything they can to help and make your visit enjoyable.

My last review was very good. But sadly I went there yesterday with a friend. Didn't book a table so we we're aware that we might not get one. We did get a table. Next to the kitchen. Everything was fine. Food was lovely, servers fast etc. What really let us down was the manager asking us if we were finished with our food. (we were there for maybe 40 min). At first I thought she just wanted to check on us but it felt like she wanted us to leave. Couple of minutes later and a server asks us the same. 3 min later and another server asks us if we are done with our food. Maybe we misunderstood their intentions but beeing asked 3 times really felt like they wanted us to go faster. Incredibly disappointed as we really liked Hick. I understand it was a busy night, but that came across as rude.

We had a lovely meal for our sons birthday. The extra touches were lovely and made the occasion special .

First time visiting Hickory’s. Food was mostly amazing, service was fantastic and atmosphere was great, had a buzz to it. I shared a platter for 2, so that we could try a bit of everything and 90% was phenomenal. My only gripe was that the beef rib, which meant to be the signature dish, was really dry and over cooked, which was disappointing Other than that, couldn’t fault anything else. Great place to eat overall

The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is uniquely pleasing. This was my first visit to Hickory's, and it certainly won't be the last. The desserts are exceptionally delicious.

The surroundings were very good with some excellent live music although I believe this is only on certain nights. The staff were attentive and sociable and, in my opinion, the venues main asset. The food was ok without really standing out from the crowd. We were there as a birthday celebration and the staff brought a sparkler on a cream bun and sang happy birthday which was a nice touch. Overall a good night for the atmosphere with the jury out on the food. All of it was edible and well presented but without that bit extra you look for on a night out.

The place had a great atmosphere when we went on a busy Saturday night. The cocktails and food were really nice. Definitely try the frickles. Only down side is that our table wasn't ready for the time we booked in and then when we sat it took a little while for someone to come back for a food order, all I can say is it is understandable because they were quite busy!

First visit with family from Australia,had 2 platters between 5 of us and that was plenty of food,averages around 25 pound a head,only downfall table was booked for 7 and got seated at 7.30 but was very busy.

Not best experience birthday booking on arrival found to be given out to a nother party!!! It had been carefully booked at tge beginning of the week in person!! And for my personal reason s to limit risk on seating area as i have immunity issues!!! Birthday girl felt very let down and upset as i was!! Eventually a table was released , 1 of the meals £25 or so for a steak that was like leather!!!!! And to top it all they TOOK THERE OWN TIP WITHOUT EVEN A WORD OF THIS TO ME THIS IS MY MONEY THEY HELPED THEMSELVES TO HOW DARE THEY SO WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE AGAIN THE TRUST IS LOST COMPLETEY FOR SO MANY REASONS, WHEN FOLLOWING THIS COMPLAIN THE STAFF IN QUESTION GOES ONTO A FABRICATED STORY WHERE SHE LIES TO SAVE HERSELF AN JOB IT SEEMS!!!!!!! DEEPLY OFFENSIVE SAY LEAST!!!!!!!!!!

Booked a table for a large party of 9 for my sons 21st birthday meal with family spent a huge amount of money, my problem wasn't the food that was faultless the waitress who looked after our table was also amazing bless her wish I could remember her name,back and fourth with drinks orders etc my issue was the managers attitude it was digusting she really had no need to come to our table the way she did 😠 when we booked we stated we had someone amongst our party that had an allergie we asked the waitress regarding a pudding my son wanted she stated the chocolate was nut free so was the kitchen so why did the manager feel the need to come to our table in front of everyone and say we shouldn't of said we had an allergie which we did on the booking!!!!! After she said her bit she smirked not only did she make us look like irasponable parents she humiliated my son shes veryrude and very unprofessional,

Awsome spot. First thing you notice is the exceptional service you receive from the staff. Nothing is too much bother. The food is amazing, portion sizes great and you can get a box to take the food home that you couldn't manage due to the generous portion sizes, prices are fair and cannot fault this place. The atmosphere is lovely, it's clean and parking at the plenty. No negatives for hickorys at all!!
