The portion was still so big that my friend and I didn’t even finish it! A great restaurant for gatherings! . 🍣Tuna and salmon sashimi, thick cut, smooth in the mouth and super satisfying to eat. . 🥗The sashimi salad has all kinds of seafood. I still like tuna and arctic clams the most. They have a smooth texture and are very chewy. . 🥗There is also a salad that tastes relatively refreshing. It is garnished with fish roe and the vegetables are very fresh, which is very suitable for relieving fatigue! . 🦑Grilled squid, the squid has a smooth texture, with a slight burnt aroma before and after, and the squid rings are very elastic. . 🦐Paella has various ingredients similar to seafood salad, plus rice, it is super suitable for one person at noon. . 🍹The drinks we ordered were very refreshing, and those who want to drink beer are also here! . 💰Per capita: £20-30 (more people are more cost-effective)

Absolutely brilliant! Food was 10/10 i couldnt get enough. Got the salsa platter, rock shrimp tempura and ika kabayaki. The squid was the best ive had in the UK so far, the platter was so diverse (perfect for one person but there was two of us) and i enjoyed every bite. Will be returning to try more of the menu!!

It was the worst sushi I have ever eaten. I don't recommend to anyone. It was all rubbery and had no flavor. Prepared weeks in advance and superheated on the spot. Definitely not worth the £30 I spent. If I could go back I wouldn't go back. I spat it all out, absolutely flunking it

A very good option for Japanese food in north London. The seating is traditional Japanese and with a friendly atmosphere, yet good and attentive service. The food was on the whole very good, particularly the surf & turf which I honestly could have eaten three portions of. Although we had the volcano sushi which wasn't my wife and I's cup of tea despite it being recommended by a friend. The only real negative being that it was very expensive and not good value for money as the food wasn't better than many other cheaper Japanese places. But if money isn't an option then go get the surf and turf!

I went to this nice Japanese restaurant Sushi Salsa in an evening. The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We tried a variety of dishes. The Japanese Oyster on Shell was fresh, sweet, and crispy – really tasty when eaten warm. We also enjoyed the Dragon Roll, which had a perfect mix of sweet and savory flavours. The Salmon California Roll was delicious too, with a nice combination of sweetness and juiciness.We chose a bento dish with Salmon Teriyaki & Prawn Katsu. I think both of them are very flavourful. The crispy katsu prawn was a pleasant surprise. The Sashimi was fresh, with tasty slices of salmon and tuna, along with scallops and cucumber. The drinks, called Nickname and Piña Colada Mocktail, were delightful and full of flavor. I highly recommend this charming restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty experience in Camden Town!

We recently visited this very nice Japanese restaurant Sushi Salsa in Camden Town. It’s near the canal and just 5 minutes walk from the tube station. We tried several dishes and they exceeded my expectations. I like Japanese Oyster on Shell. It is fresh, sweet, and crispy very delicious when enjoyed hot. In the beginning of the “Year of Dragon”, we tried Dragon Roll. It was rich in flavour, a perfect balance of sweet and savoury, very tasty. The Salmon California Roll that we also ordered had a combination of sweetness and juiciness with every bite. We also tried a bento dish: Salmon Teriyaki & Prawn Katsu, so flavourful , and the crispy katsu prawn was a delight. Sashimi is also very freshly made. The slices of salmon and tuna and scallops with cucumber are delicious. Their drinks, Nickname and Piña Colada Mocktail, were both delightful and fruity – highly recommend! Overall, I’d recommend this nice restaurant to visitors who want a flavourful experience in Camden Town!

The Japanese chef was making sushi next to me. The sushi I ordered was really delicious. I ordered sashimi rice, crab salad, sashimi, fried skewers, fried octopus, and fried oysters. His menu is very rich and diverse, and the environment is great. Also very good

The salmon looks very thick, but is so silky that it melts like butter in your mouth! The arctic clams and sweet shrimps are also extremely fresh. They are dipped in mustard and soy sauce and topped with a bite! Isn’t it a bit outrageous that this big dish only costs £20...

Just by looking at the photo, you can tell that the eels here are huge! There is no fishy smell at all and the sauce is superb. My friend was so excited after taking the first bite that he slapped the table. I was also shocked when I was drinking miso soup. It is so delicious with a fragrant aroma in my mouth.

I had a an great experience with my mother for Valentine’s Day, we came to camden quite indecisive with where we were going to eat, This place caught our eye. We ordered our food and we’re pleasantly surprised with the fair price range❤️❤️❤️Fresh food along with Nice cocktails , definitely recommend ❤️

Can’t describe how nice here is. This is my first time came to sushi salsa. I came with my mum to show her the Japanese food in London. And this restaurant for sure impressed her. The food is affordable but very valuable at the same time. See pictures all food here are recommended

I’m giving a 1 star as when I came in, I walked to the bar and asked if I can order drinks here and I was aggressively told I have to wait. I said okay and then he replied no you have to go outside and pointed towards the door, as he pointed he dropped the cocktail he was shaking and then started shouting at me in his language. But I would like to give a 5 star review to toshi as he was the most positive person I have ever met and definitely in my top 3 waiters of all time, it was around 630 when the incident happened and I heard other staff communitcating with him using the name shaker or something similar

The Atmosphere and service, was decent. However, I would focus more on the quality of the ingredients used for the sushis.

Both the Ramens we had (Miso Pork & Tofu)! And the service was excellent, Mario greeted us really well and gave us great food advice !

Went for a birthday lunch and the floor manager was extremely rude. Tall slim man who took our order wrong and when we questioned it he called us liars and said we ordered pork not chicken. He then proceeded to point at us and stare at us with his colleagues in the kitchen and bar areas to make us feel bad. The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and the man should either learn some manners or be fired. The ladies working there were friendly and provided a good service.

Lovely sushi place in Camden. Me and the girlfriend had the buffet. You pick 7 pieces from the a carte menu, and then you pick up to 5 different sushi dishes from the buffet menu. You can order from the sushi menu 5 times. It is all fresh to order, and it was all yummy. Its 26.80 each, but a minimum of two people. We were full after 2 rounds of sushi and the a la carte menu, there was a lot more than I expected. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely experience here! The sushi here definitely satisfied our cravings and we loved that we could watch the chef making it fresh too! Another highlight is their low-seating arrangements, offering a contemporary yet traditional ambiance that perfectly complements their food! Definitely a spot worth trying!

We went for the "All you can eat" buffet option and it was terrible. The sushi / sashimi included on the deal are so limitted and the sushi was well below avarage in comparison that you could say it was bought at co-op. Total disaster. We were full after one round of sushi and the 7 choices of hot food (all fried and oily) + we felt under pressure to eat all so no wastage fee would be applied to the bill. Ended up paying £70 with 3 juices + 2 x all you can eat buffet for a meal that would be worth not more than £25 / £30 if take out. The staff was lovely and the place look nice.

All you can eat buffet offers very limited options and it felt that we were given dishes with no care in the world. Not good value for money and you could say that the sushi was shop bought. We were so looking forward to it hut leftcfeeling well disappointed l. We spent £70+ for a meal that was not worth more than £30. The staff was nice and the place looks good though

My partner had a dish with beef and prawns which he adored! The hot saki was great and there were options for large bottles! Our legs fell under the floor level at the table - just like an authentic Japanese restaurant in Tokyo! I had never seen this touch outside Japan before and loved seeing it here. The staff were very friendly too. 😎

I discovered this place very close to the Camden Town market thanks to the fork. The only flaw was the discomfort of sitting on the floor. The nigiri and rolls were very good, but I probably wouldn't get the octopus nigiri again.

The food there is fabulous. The lychee flavor mocktail PONY is amazing.The staff is so thoughtful and friendly. We had a wonderful dinner there. Highly recommended to everyone!

Arriving late around 10:30 p.m., the waitress still accepted us and very pleasantly, fast service, impeccable presentation, generous quantities and flavors.. perfect! A downside on the cocktails, which we took off the bill, that's cool thank you :) The room is really beautiful, the seats inlaid into the floor are original, we leave satisfied and very happy, go there!

Great experience but it’s not clear about the Buffet Menù. The flyer outside the restaurant and the website says about the Buffet menu at the cost of 26.80£ without any mention about any restrictions of days about it. We booked online for a Saturday night and once we sat down we discovered from the waiter that the buffet menu wasn’t on Saturday. We stayed but it didn’t seem right.

Saturday dinner - no buffet. Waste of time no mention of this on the website or on the sign outside. Staff didn’t care.

Right at the entrance, we were served right away and seated. They had lovely decorations and it felt organised and clean. There was an option between sitting in normal chairs or seating that was below the floor. I really enjoyed that experience as it was my first time sitting that way. Me and my partner ordered meals part of the lunch, Bento box deal. We were served in a nice and efficient way. It made me want to come again. The bento boxes we chose were very tasty.

My friend and I had the buffet which was simple but delicious and filling. Our servers were lovely, however we noticed that the bartender (and maybe floor manager?) was extremely rude to the staff. He appeared aggressive and was swearing loudly, which was uncomfortable to hear. On top of that, he gave free drinks to the ladies next to us, sat with them and left with them, maybe to smoke, which felt unprofessional. Overall it would have been a good experience if it wasn’t for the uncomfortable actions of the bartender/manager. Having read some other reviews since, there seems to be many other people that have experienced the same discomfort, and so this could definitely be an ongoing issue with Sushi Salsa

I thought Sushi Salsa had shut down but it is still very much open and just as fantastic as it always was. The buffet menu is incredible and offers a huge variety of choices. I would highly recommend going there!!

My waitress Ashley was amazing! Very attentive and honestly she was the sweetest girl ever! Food was mediocre but one of the managers(?) was talking extremely rudely to his staff members. I honestly can’t believe how he’s still hired there!!

This was my second time at this place and something weird happened. The floor manager showed my and partner a table in the middle where another couple were sitting at the other end and myself and my partner decided to take another table which seemed more comfortable! A gay called ‘Zan’ who claimed to be the floor manager. The person was very rude and full of attitude and straight away came to us to told us that we can’t just sit where ever we want! Where as most of the tables were empty and restaurant was half empty! He told us to go back and sit at the table in the middle again! I found him very rude and I have never experienced anything like this before. Funnily they charged us service charge of £10 after this also!

I can't really fault it much. Both the food and service were very good, only gripe is that I had to ask about the buffet/all you can eat option as I was given the al a carte menus on entry. Would had been nice if they mentioned that both options were available, as I would had been none the wiser if I already hadn't been aware of the buffet option

Extremely bad advertisement. Website and advertisements say that they have buffet option but on Saturdays they don’t and I booked Saturday on the website for the buffet option, arrived and was told they wouldn’t do it. Extremely bad service and the staff did not even acknowledge the problem with their advertisement and website booking system for buffet. Talked with manager and didn’t accept a complaint outside of online. Extremely disappointed!!!

I have eaten here once before, so I was so pleased to have time to pop in with a visit to Camden. It's so lovely, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I have been to many places like this in Japan, so it feels the owners have managed to transport some Japanese magic from Tokyo. All staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The food was divine. It was such a treat. I could have spent more time relaxing, but I had other engagements. What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon.

This sushi was some of the best we’ve had! The salt and pepper squid was THE best we have ever tasted, lots of S/P flavor, cooked to perfection and not one little spine in any of the pieces. Overall 5 *****’s ❤️🇨🇦

We were a family of x 6 we came for the buffet. Cost is £26.80 for adult and half price for children under 12. I had 2 kids under 12 do paid for 4 adult prices. Bill came to £150.75 with a £16.00 service charge added. We only had water to drink. The table we ate on was very sticky and had not been very clean. When you arrive they bring a hot menu and you have to choose 7 items which is 1 round only. They insist you start with this menu. Most are chicken dishes on menu and 2 prawn dishes. Food was nice. However they insist you start with hot food 1st . My guess is so that you fill your self up, which you do. The sushi round is presented after that. They then allow you 5 rounds Of sushi dishes which were were very simple sashmi and typical salmon avocado rolls . Good thing it was fresh. The only thing is with this they put a 1.5 hour time limit to eat. Maximum 5 rounds. Each sushi order took about 25 to 30mins to come to our table as we ordered straight away. This meant the maximum rounds you could have are 3 and not 5. I recommend anyone doing the buffet start with sushi first do your 5 rounds then do the hot food. If your family comes to eat Sushi buffet otherwise you will get full on the hot food.

The first day I arrived in London, I was hungry while looking around Camden Market, so it was an unplanned restaurant experience. As soon as I entered, I felt the feel of a Japanese restaurant and the shape of the tables was unique. Two adult males, totaling 50.96 pounds. The dishes we each ordered were good enough that there were no complaints, and the sushi shown in the photo had a crispy texture and was fun. This restaurant also has outdoor tables. If you are planning to eat at Camden Market, I recommend adding it to your list of candidates:)

Il sushi era di ottima qualità e fresco, il ristorante era bello e ben tenuto, ma il personale era un po’ lento a servire e ci sono state diverse volte in cui abbiamo dovuto aspettare alcuni minuti per effettuare un altro ordine. L’all you can eat non viene scritto da nessuna parte che è presente e bisogna espressamente chiederlo allo staff. L’all you can eat funziona in modo differente rispetto a quello italiano e poteva essere spiegato meglio dallo staff. Il prezzo era abbastanza alto anche se per quello che abbiamo mangiato lo posso ritenere sufficiente, noi eravamo in due e delle 5 portate che potevamo chiedere siamo arrivati ad utilizzarne 3, penso che per 4 persone le 5 portate bastino ma in caso si fosse di più potreste andare via non del tutto sazi. Oltre a 5 portate di 5 cose a scelta tra circa 12/13 piatti si possono ordinare 7 piatti caldi compresi nel prezzo. Tutto ciò è abbastanza complicato da capire subito per questo avrei preferito che fosse spiegato meglio. Il voto perfetto penso sia 3,5 ma non potendo metterlo ho inserito 3.

We came once to the restaurant, the food was quite good but took a bit too long to prepare. Anyway we decided to make another delivery after a few days. The order was canceled without any notice, then we called the restaurant and they asked us to place the order again. They said they will prepare it in 15 minutes. After another hour (2 hours from the time the restaurant accepted our first order!) they cancelled it again. We waited 2 hours and remained hungry…

Great experience! Lots of sushi options and quick service. The offerings are not unique but they make classic dishes really well. It’s a fusion of sushi and other asian dishes so it’s perfect to go to if one of you doesn’t eat raw fish. They also have vegetarian options

Me and my partner were unimpressed by the food here. The kitsune udon was bland, unseasoned and we left it unfinished. The veg yaki udon was also lacking in depth. We were left hanging for the bill for 10 minutes at off-peak times and had to remind staff. Besides this, the staff serving us were friendly and attentive.

Wouldn’t recommend this place! We went to have some cocktails. The bartender, a man with long hair, was rude and impolite. He seemed to be drunk when he handed us the cocktails because he spilled the shot of whiskey we ordered. When closing the place, we were finishing our cocktails and he took my cocktail that I had NOT finished and took it away because they were already closing. Then he comes back to kick us out with a rude and impolite attitude. We were just finishing the drinks. I would never go back to this place because the customer service sucks. I paid for a cocktail that they didn't even let me finish, plus: was really bad. The Moscow mulle taste like lemonade. Buying lemons would have been cheaper. Hope you can improve soon since I feel you have such a good spot/location.

Space with an appealing concept, which makes us enter in a Japanese vibe, as soon as we enter. About the food? It's good and the sushi seems to me to be quite fresh and freshly made in the middle of the room (interesting) by one of the chefs. However, it wasn't the best sushi I've ever eaten: simple or basic pieces and it doesn't show anything new or that makes us jump out of the chair. The starters however were a pleasant surprise and these yes, made us salivate! At £20 per person (drinks not included) it's not bad, but the menu is reduced, not having much variety. Which causes a lot of repetition of the dishes.

Very rude service. Our children were not allowed to enter the outside area with their sweets from another venue. The whole area is open eating. My husband and I were looking forward to sushi. We would have considered letting the kids finish them eating there however the woman was so incredibly rude. Terrible customer service in an area that is full of wonderful friendly service. Went and got dinner here last night, my boyfriend and I got the Buffet option. Sushi was not worth the price. the fish was low grade and nothing special. same with the small cooked plates. Very cheap tasting from the frozen fridges. Server’s acted like they didn’t want to be there. Just plain rude except one lady in a black jacket and the manager were the only nice people there. I’m from America and this was my first time here, and I was asking another server about the Buffet, and what time happy hour is. her response was “if you keep asking questions then it’ll be over by then” absolutely ridiculous. If you’re a tourist, don’t bother stopping by.

Amazing food, huge selection, not cheap but then again good sushi never is, you get what you pay for. If you're a sushi fan, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Definitely a place for tourists. Food is not great and service not excellent

It was the most disgusting sushi I have ever had in my life. The sashimi was cut like my Nan cut it, it was off and hard, and every sushi on the menu was disgusting. You are better off spending £30 at a proper sushi place and enjoying your food.

I don’t understand how it got that many good reviews. The food was horrible and service even worse. My friend brought her 4months old daughter and they gave her the dirtiest baby chair we’ve ever seen. She had to carry her baby the whole meal because she didn’t want to use the chair. Save your money, don’t go there.

It used be my favourite sushi restaurant in London until yesterday night. The two guys are very rude and have no manners. We asked for a table for 2 and they told us that walk ins were not allowed to sit inside offering us a seat outside on a small sofa where it would be quite difficult to eat. On top of that when we asked for the buffet option they told us that it can’t be served outside and so we had to ask inside again, at that point we left very disappointed and we felt treated as not welcomed. Bring back the nice staff.

Beautiful place, good menu to chose from. Great veggie options, and good taste too. Only wished for a bit more variety in Veggie Sushi. Portion size is good. A must visit! Make sure that you prepared for sitting on the floor, but still have a feeling on sitting on the table. You kinda leave your feet down in a small ditch, allowing you to have a feeling of sit down eating style. Great effort on this style. Well done team.
