Went to Bolton comedy club was absolutely fantastic the atmosphere was great too would definitely recommend this place.. did not eat there but the food looked fantastic

First time visit, recommended by a friend. The food was perfect in every way, seriously the best burger I've ever tasted so soft and juicy 😋 Everything was tasty 😋 The owner if very aware of her customers needs, she's always zipping around, making sure everyone was being looked after. Very rare to get the service she gave in a pub environment. We will definitely be visiting again 😊 Thank you for your perfect service

Brilliant restaurant quailty food from this pub very friendly staff if buy a childrens meal and child is young like under 7 ask for smaller sized meal as we ended up having to ask for a box to bring popcorn chicken home as portion was too big for him

Went for lunch today (Thursday), the food was delicious, presented well and very hot. There is plenty of choice on the menu. Will definitely go again and recommend to friends and family.

I would not recommend this pub. I visited a few times over the past few weeks and every time the landlord is drunk and making a show. I live in the area close to this pub and I’ve heard a lot of roumers about the new landlord but I don’t believe anything until I see it. And we’ll let’s just say the roumers are true I will never visit this pub again. It is a massive shame as the chef is lovley and his food is amazing quality. I hope this helps. This pub used to be the go to pub for a good day/night and we’ll now all I can say is I think it needs closing or new management needs to be brought in

Amazing food from a great chef, french trained with middle eastern heritage. Pub food with a great taste and lovely touches.

Took my mum n her best friend, excellent, the bar staff she was absolutely welcoming and friendly, the chef excellent, no faults what so ever. We will definitely be going back. UPDATE - we have been 3 more times since my review and again today. Food and service as ever was excellent. We've even booked for Xmas lunch

The food is excellent, not good, excellent. It's like fine dining with large portions. Chef is very friendly and knowledgeable. Have made it our Go to restaurant. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food.

Had the loaded salt and pepper fries with rump steak, absolutely delicious!!! Finished off with the homemade apple crumble, to die for! Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

We Just popped in for a quick drink after doing some shopping nearby. Nice atmosphere & nice staff, will call again.

Had a meal with a large party (nearly 20 of us) for a friend's birthday mid September (sorry for the late review but better late than never!), and the staff here went to a lot of effort to make us feel really welcome and make the evening super fun. It was not karaoke night but they put it on for us anyway! Also I'd point out that the food was all really great too and when they found out there was a vegan guest, they actually spoke to the chef and came up with some meal ideas which were not on the menu. Like I said at the beginning a great effort, would definitely go back next time we want a celebratory meal 😊

So....popped out with our families today to get something to eat. I can only say I was blown away. Service with a smile, friendly and relaxed. Great chef with a varied but simple enough menu for all tastes. Mega impressed with the black pudding stack and also the salt and pepper chicken. Infact, I loved mine but looked on with envy at the rest of the families. Fantastic value for money and every box ticked. Thanks a lot guys. Absolutely spot on. Bellies are full and in my home neighbourhood. Couldn't ask for anything more 💓

Such a warm welcome! It's the first time I have been here and I was made to feel like a regular, so comfortable! The food was delicious, plenty of choice from bar snacks, light bites, meal deals and specials. I chose the cheese and onion pie....yum, my sister had the club sandwich which looked good too. Can't wait to go back!

We were a group of nine, we all really enjoyed our food. I had the salt and pepper chicken with salt and pepper fries and curry sauce which was stunning!! Much better than any Chinese I’ve been to! Really friendly service and can’t wait to come back again soon!!

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Food was great, cheese and onion pie and the fish and chips. Reasonable portions for a good price. Would visit again

I have commented on the sheer bloody excellence and ambience of Gina & Tony's place before. We have just had our first post lockdown visit and it was even better than usual. Parking is rubbish, but that's a small price to pay for dining in what I consider to be the best gastro pub in Lancashire. Tony is a proper star and if you want to wind Gina up (like I do!) just refer to it as Gary and Tina's - you will see the blood vessels burst out of her forehead. What a great place this it. I love it.

This place is my number one place. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a delicious supper, this place comes first to my mind. splendid and food and a large list of dishes.courteous staff, and nice spirit. Also, the bill is decent. I praise this restaurant with pleasure.

I unfortunately used to Iive near this pub. The food is not good-the clientele noisy and nowhere to park. If you want to buy drugs this is the place to buy as the landlady has no control and there will be no social distancing as one person who goes in the pub was tested positive for coronavirus. So drink there if you want Bolton to stay in total lockdown because it is likely you will get in the side door.

Been here a few times now & today was the 1st time we'd eaten. My sister got herself a beef Panini with home made chips & gravy whilst I got the cheese & onion pie homemade chips & beans & whilst I did enjoy my meal I think paying just short of £20 for the two meals & bear in mind that my sister bought the chips they didn't come with the panini I think seeing it's a pub meal paying £10 for for pie & chips is too me expensive... other than that the bar staff are nice & friendly we would go again we just wouldn't eat there again 😕

Great Staff and Service always makes you feel welcome.

First time out for fourteen weeks,so me and the wife, my father-in-law and his sweetheart headed straight for this place! Tony the chef par excellence knocked up a stormer,with Gina running herself into the ground serving sumptious dishes. Parking is admittedly a problem and limited on-site, and the alcohol service can be poor from the restaurant side, but make no mistake the cuisine in my opinion is the best of its kind in Bolton and beyond. A tip: Nip ino the pub bar and the service is excellent and the beer is marvellous!

We had our first meal out during this time and everything was fantastic. Glad this was our first meal out. The dining room manager also kept on top of the kids staying with their families adhering to covid restrictions. See you again soon. Thankyou

The drab cold appearance outside of this place kind of sums it up. There is nowhere to park and the area is quite rough looking. The clientele are quite yobbish as this certainly is not a true restaurant merely a 'pub grub/bar meal' type place split into a rough looking bar to the left and a generic eating section to the right. Food is average but nothing more though the service was fast. There are better places to eat in the area, where at least there would be parking!

Food excellent, service excellent. Can't fault it. My family and I had a lovely meal, celebrating my daughter's birthday. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We all chose different meals, each and every one was delicious!

Excellent food and service, we use to go for a carvery but found at Henighans the food is far more superior and the same price with a more personal, very friendly pleasant service. This will be our local restaurant to visit from now. I can highly recommend the steak and ale pie, it’s rare these days to get a quality steak pie with big chunks of tender steak inside, I’ll have to stop typing now I’m making myself hungry. 😛

I had the special kebab and my wife had the burger. Both lovely thanks served hot can tell it was made fresh. Would go again.

Went Saturday night with 18 rounders ladies, staff are really nice and friendly, we had the Christmas meal, and to say there was18 females, not a complaint from any, Gina and chef worked their socks off to provide a fabulous service and excellent food, entertainment was delayed due to boxing, 😂 When Rob came on he was very good, so thank you and hopefully see you next year x

Very fast service, hot and delicious will definitely call again. Specials board and also have a Christmas menu would recommend to give it a try.

Called in for lunch with my husband and mum in law. A lovely young lady greeted us with a beaming smile and showed us to a table. A glance through the extensive menu left us spoilt for choice, but the food we ordered was well presented, looked and tasted delicious. Prices were reasonable both for food and drink. The atmosphere was pleasant and our host was attentive. Will certainly put it on our list for more visits when we are staying with the in laws.

We have lived in Breightmet for nearly twenty years but had noticed the place had changed its restaurant side, following friends recently visiting and making a recommend we thought we’d give it a try out. Wow fantastic food, fantastic service and the place is lovely and clean 10/10 worth a visit with air con!! Plus a varied menu x

Today we had our daughters Christening (after party) at Henighans which all our family enjoyed. The venue was very clean, the hostess was great and the food was amazing!! We've already planed to come back again very soon... Thank you so much for making our little girls days awesome.

Called in as we were visiting in the area where I grew up .. good old Breightmet. Was surprised to see the Bottom Bull’s Head all re vamped and modern. We had a lovely light meal. Mum had a cheese and ham toastie and I had the best ever home made fish finger sandwich with tartare sauce and salad .It rated as the best ever equal to the one’s at Cod cottage 20 years ago in Wharton.I hope to return soon because there is a vast array of Whitley Neil gins too. The staff were extremely friendly and we felt at home.
