Masum was fantastic and gave great service for us as a group great food and lovely service from the team. We had a group of 6 people and it was great

Absolutely lovely, there is no need for any other words. The service was great, food was DELICIOUS, what moore would one want. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This restaurant is really very good. The food was rather nice and the staff were lovely. In all I would recommend this restaurant highly for an unfussy friendly dining experience.

My mother and her best friend were customers of this resturant for over 20 years. It was always an amazing resturant with great service and great food. Sadly since changing owners it has really gone downhill on all fronts. The food is seriosly so bad now, really cheap fatty meat is used in the curries, bland flavourless taste, a real shame as they have destroyed what was once a well respected and fantastic resturant. I would advise people to order from Star of India in Leytonstone, don't waste your money here.

Vivió en Stratford durante algunos años y nunca noté el Himalaya. Entonces, cuando mi hermano vino a visitarme y le apetecía un curry, encontré esta joya cerca. Muy elegante por dentro y los baños son modernos y limpios. En cuanto a la comida, todo lo que pedimos fue de primera clase. Los poppadoms eran frescos y crujientes, los entrantes Lamb Tikka y Prawn Puri eran excelentes y los platos principales Himalaya Special Curry y Garlic y Chilli Chicken eran de primera categoría. Las cervezas Cobra costaban 5 cada una, pero eso es lo que pagas en Londres. Personal muy amable que nos dio un whisky de cortesía con la factura. Olvídate de Brick Lane, este es el verdadero negocio.

Got the tandoori mixed grill. Seekh kebab wasn't the best but the chicken and lamb were delicious. The area isn't the nicest, the menu however is not too expensive. Overall, decent tandoori restaurant and will visit again.

Esta es mi primera visita a este restaurante y una de mis primeras visitas a cualquier restaurante desde que se redujo el cierre. Tengo que decir que este fue un pequeño restaurante maravilloso con muchos platos interesantes para probar. Comencé con una especie de hamburguesa picante cubierta en una tortilla con un poco de ensalada a un lado + una salsa de yogur y menta para verter encima si quieres. Luego comí un plato picante de langostinos con arroz Keema. Muy muy bien. Lo recomiendo. Luego tomé un plato de helado en escamas Cadbury y una deliciosa taza de café con nata. Toda la comida llegó a 27 + propina. Recomiendo seriamente este restaurante y quiero volver.

I was meeting my son for some food in E15 & we happened across this restaurant. The food & service were lovely.

Amplia gama de platos que consisten en todos los nombres familiares que esperarías junto con una impresionante variedad de especialidades de la casa, ¡algunos de los cuales son 'galardonados'! ! Toda la comida que pedimos estaba bien preparada, sabrosa y generosa en términos de tamaño de la porción. Las botellas grandes de Cobra tienen un precio honesto por debajo de 5. 00, que hace un cambio refrescante desde tantos lugares que cobran precios de estafa en estos días. Varios artículos como naan, arroz, etc. estaban todos bien. Las samosas vegetarianas fueron un poco decepcionantes. Muy básico con mínimo relleno. En general, hace el trabajo bastante bien.

Wir waren für vier Tage in London und haben im Ibis Stratford gewohnt. In direkter Nachbarschaft haben wir das Himalaya entdeckt und waren direkt begeistert, so dass wir an zwei Abenden hier gegessen haben. Wir haben insgesamt 10 verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert und alles hat vorzüglich geschmeckt. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich und der Besitzer hat uns beim zweiten Besuch sehr herzlich empfangen. Für 2 Hauptgerichte inklusive Reis und 3 Gemüsebeilagen sowie Getränke (kein Alkohol) haben wir an die 50 £ bezahlt - ein wirklich fairer Preis! Wir können das Himalaya jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein Fan guter indischer Küche ist.

Quería un curry para variar, tomé unas copas en Stratford y encontré el restaurante fácilmente. Madras Curry estaba lo suficientemente caliente y muy sabroso, teníamos Bhaji's que eran excelentes, Bombay Potato y Naan para agregar al Curry y al Arroz. En general, un gran restaurante con un gran personal y comida para combinar

A couple of locals took me to this restaurant for dinner. Excellent menu good seafood and vegetarian selections. Nice casual atmosphere but not too loud. Service was polite and efficient. Went back a second time during my stay in London. Would certainly return the next time I visit Stratford.

Este restaurante está a pocos pasos de los hoteles de Westfield. Solíamos ir a un par de otros restaurantes indios en la zona, pero ambos han cerrado. Este fue un gran descubrimiento, la comida era encantadora y picante, especialmente el pollo Naga y el personal era muy amable. Puedo recomendar este restaurante si quieres un cambio de los del centro comercial.

10 of us had a Christmas meal here recently. Great menu, tasty food, and very friendly service. My second visit here, and I look forward to returning. Cost £30 a head including beers and gratuities.

Aquí en el negocio. En las primeras impresiones esto es como se describe una casa de curry tradicional británica. Y nada de malo en eso. Servicio cortés y rápido, generosa bandeja de chutney también. Entrante mixto como siempre, que estaba bien. El plato principal llegó y los jalfrazzi tenían un montón de chiles, ¿lo suficiente como para que tu boca se estremeciera en el camino de regreso al hotel? Felizmente comer aquí de nuevo.

Can only be described as a traditional British curry house. Clean, well presented, good service, classic menu, Indian beer, foil wrapped chocolate and a hot towel - everything you want and expect from a traditional curry house. Will visit again.

Fuimos un viernes por la noche alrededor de 630 p. m. El servicio fue muy amable y la comida era buena. No como picante, como nos gusta, pero no está mal. Teníamos la cebolla bajh, que era muy buena. El chutneys estaban bien. El Bombay aloo, sagg paneer, y Peshawar Nan, eran todos muy buenos. Las cervezas estaban fríos y buena cobra. Dos para la cena y las bebidas eran 50 libras total, buena relación calidad-precio. Era el mejor que he comido, no, pero estaba bueno y nos volveríamos.

Old school Indian with helpful service and decent curry. Good traditional menu and a decent chef. Very busy takeaway (hungry house) but it’s usually fine to get a table. I like it but it’s not fancy or a place to take a first date.

I love this place and use it a lot but a couple of points tonight: Daal was crazy runny, like soup runny. The driver actually ASKED my wife for a tip for delivery - this is NOT on. :-(

We messed up had to pop out and the delivery guy was early we was stuck in traffic to get back and not only did the guy patiently wait he was understanding and on top of keeping him waiting 40 mins the food was still hot and lovely this place deserves all the glory thank you

The delivery driver was rude and aggressive. He was very late and told me "it is not good enough" that I had not answered his call a few minutes before he knocked on the door. The naans were burnt.

Didn't like the food. Not tasty... ordered lamb karahi as I used to order it from my local takeaway and I love it. The lamb was not fresh and it was stiff. It looked like they Just took the lamb from the skewer and put sauce on it. There was so little meat too. Didn't even finished it

Really good curry. Bit mild even for me, but texture and taste was perfect. Good portion size. And so many places give dry, crusty naan... and this was stretchy, soft, fresh - perfect! And unlike a lot of other places, the Peshwari was actually sweet - not just a bit of coconut crumbled on top. Definitely ordering again.

Quite late delivery, and the driver would not listen to advice on how to get to me after he got lost.

The food was really good, not too spicy, well cooked and really tasty! The only negative point was the delivery time, that arrived 10 minutes late, but just because the restaurant is less than 5 minutes walk from my house!

Absolutely brutal. Food arrived 20 minutes late. Not even an apology from the driver. Food was bland, chewy and all round the worst interpretation of Indian food I have ever whitnessed. Doubt I'll ever see my money again. If you wanna eat Indian food. This is not the place i am afraid.

Really really good food, extremely spicy (Balti Jalfrezi), but the Tandoori Chicken, Naan and Main Dish (the Balti) were all excellent. Highly recommended

Good food from this place. I had the Balti Jalfrezi with pilau rice and a lamb tikka starter. The portions were generous- especially the lamb tikka. The Balti was in a thick gravy with plenty of meat. Reasonably priced too. The delivery guy was polite and brought the delivery right to my door (this is harder than it sounds!) Well done guys!

Best take-away curry I've had. The tikka balti is delicious! The naan is fresh and soft. Highly recommend

Este prometía ser el restaurante indio que habíamos estado buscando en Stratford pero, desafortunadamente, había demasiadas fallas con platos individuales: el cordero tikka era duro y el keebab más cocinado, mientras que las gambas en el sagú de la gamba se habían cortado en pedazos pequeños que básicamente hacían del plato un bhaji de sag con trozos de pescado (así que básicamente estábamos pagando un billete adicional por los "pedacitos de pescado").

Best Indian food I have had in a long time. Delivery time was excellent and the driver was very friendly. The food portions were perfect and it was nice and hot. Amazing value for money. Thank You and I will definitely order again!

Never again. Food arrived with delivery driver who refused to come into my building, had to go outside to fetch it. ( says can't stop) Food wasn't hot but luke warm Chicken Tikka appear to have a large quantity of salt spilt into and was shockingly bad and wasn't edable. Briyani Chicken was totally dry and cold. Wouldn't recommend or ever try again

i found this a nice meal and usually the Lamb we find quite tender, but the pieces of Lamb Tikka I had this time was a bit tough i.e it needed a lot of chewing, which spoilt it really for my mother, as she found it really tough.

I have been a customer for 25 yrs, but I am not any longer, the food was disgusting, tandoori king prawn masala looked like no prawns ive seen before, curry sauce was dark brown liquid which I flushed down toilet, lamb curry didn't taste like lamb and was disgusting, chicken korma was tasteless just plain pieces chicken in a curd like sauce, disgusting, salad was a joke, few slices onion in plastic bag which was warm and gone off, pilar rice bland , nan bread half the normal size, paid 60 pound and I may have flushed it down the toilet cos none of us ate anything, NEVER AGAIN

The food was bland and portion sizes were inconsistent. The restaurant added 10 minutes onto our time after completing our order and was then 10 minutes late on top of that, without any notice whatsoever. There was even a small piece of metal found in one of the curries which was very, very concerning. We will not be ordering from here again.

Would have 100% for stars if this restaurant hadn't messed up our order completely (sent us someone else's) but they did rectify their mistake and the food was great despite the initial issue.

Hemos estado en este restaurante muchas veces a lo largo de los años, es fantástico que nunca he tenido una mala comida y el servicio es excepcional.

I got my meal quicker than expected but it was the wrong meal which was only a simple mistake and not too hindering. The delivery guy however was very apologetic and the issue was quickly rectified and I was redelivered my meal piping hot which was nice (and it was very tasty so I don't mind)

The food needed salt, lots of salt its like they didn put any in. We bought lots of dishes amd all of them had very less salt

The food was bland and the spinach tasted dry and as though it had been defrosted and was certainly not fresh. The delivery was fine and the meat dishes were average but bland.

I've been looking for a good Indian Restaurant for ages and I think I've finally found one! There was a great ratio of meat to sauce. Food was delivered earlier than expected and the delivery driver provided exceptional customer service. Definitely will be ordering again soon.
