Nuestro restaurante favorito en Londres, no solo por la comida, sino también por el ambiente y el disfrute general del casino Hippodrome y el restaurante Heliot. Habíamos intentado reservar durante varios meses, pero tuvimos que esperar a Lockdown, etc.La espera valió la pena, para comenzar comimos pulpo de lubina y albóndigas, todos estaban deliciosos, para el plato principal mi esposa y yo comimos filete y mis hijos tenían la costilla añejada en seco con hueso y el solomillo de 500 gramos, todos estaban cocinados a la perfección y la calidad de la carne es excelente.Nuestro camarero para la noche fue David, fue muy amable, profesional y atento en todo momento un verdadero mérito para el restaurante.Esta es mi tercera o cuarta revisión del Heliot, pero nunca deja de impresionar.

Desde el portero informativo hasta el bar Tikka en la azotea, la visita al Heliot Steak House fue maravillosa, llena de un gran servicio, comida increíble, bebidas fabulosas y puros finos.Cuando hice la reserva inicial, no me había dado cuenta de que el Heliot tenía su sede en el Hippodrome Casino. No estaba seguro de cuándo mantener la reserva o no en verdad. Quería algo sofisticado y no estaba seguro de que la ubicación fuera la correcta. Tomó más de media hora para recibir nuestro pedido de bebidas mientras 3 empleados se acicalaban sobre el único tipo en la mesa de al lado. La calidad del bistec no está a la altura del precio, continúa la lista. Nuestra factura era de 340 para 4 de nosotros con un par de bebidas, bistec mediocre y la peor tarta de queso. Ve a disfrutar del casino pero no malgastes tu dinero en el restaurante

Siempre vuelvo si me gustó la primera vez, así que lo hice. Creo que esta vez la comida sabía incluso mejor que antes, y antes estaba buena. Espero haber conseguido el restaurante adecuado como el que está cerca del Hipódromo, Leicester Square. El servicio es fabuloso, elegante y profesional. Me encantó todo. Lo único que diré (es un gusto personal y no una crítica) la música fue cargar. Solo mi elección personal y de ninguna manera afectó la comida y el ambiente. Solo la gente estaba gritando jajaja. ¡Lo siento!

Besøgte stedet en fredag aften. Vi havde bestilt bord i forvejen, men måtte vente 10 minutter før vores bord var klar. Lidt standard menu udvalg med udskæringer og sides. Maden var god og bøffen var stegt som den skulle. Stemning var god med høj musik der var gang i casinoet som man har udsigt til fra resturanten.

Helliots claims to be the best steak house in London and I do not disagree we had a great meal with excellent wine in a great atmosphere we would definitely eat there again.

We came here to celebrate my friends birthday and being Casino lovers were impressed with the £50 gaming chip we were also given. The Steak and Lobster (£20 per person) was superbly cooked and the whole ambience of the casino if not hugely busy was a good one. I even won the £50 back on Roulette with the free chip so that really did make my night. We would not have any hesitation in returning and are already planning another visit to London.

I booked this restaurant based on it’s Tripadvisor ranking for a special occasion meal some time ago and could not have been more disappointed. First mistake was to arrive prior to having had a (strong) drink. As this is a casino, the music is BLARING and gives you that heart vibration you’d get by standing in front of the speakers at a techno gig. Not suitable for a 100% sober head. On receiving our menus, we ordered a bottle of wine (mid-range price, perhaps £60-70). An hour after sitting down, there was still no sign of our wine. Our waitress was apologetic in explaining that someone had gone to fetch the wine from the cellar a number of times but never stayed long enough to allow us to explain that we were happy to change our wine order if it was posing a problem, or to allow us order an alternative drink while we waited. Long story short, 75 minutes after arriving, we received our wine. I hoped the steaks would make up for things but to be honest, they were nothing to write home about! We requested medium-rare rib-eyes which arrived cold-lukewarm on the outside (granted they wouldn’t be hot on the inside). They import their steaks from the US which I found strange given the excellent pedigree of beef available in the UK but I guess this is to appeal to their clientele base. Perfectly edible steak but definitely no better than your average restaurant steak so probably not befitting the high price tag. Overall, a really disappointing experience and a bit of an embarrassment for me having picked the place and promising a special meal.

Myself and my partner visited here for my Birthday to have the £20 lobster and steak deal (lobster tail, steak, fries, glass of champagne and a free chip for roulette – booked through bookatable). The service is exceptional. The waitress who had only been there a few weeks, talked us through the menu with lots of information and was very friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our meal. The food came promptly and we chose to have some extras such as a starter, sides and drinks however there is by far enough food to keep you full by just using the £20 meal deal. The steak was delicious and cooked exactly how I liked it. They brought an array of sauces for the chips and everything was presented well. We spent some time finishing our drinks after our meal and at no point felt like we had over stayed our welcome. The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed our time in the hippodrome. And to top off my birthday I won £50 using the free chip on the roulette!

Sono tornato per ben 2 sere di seguito in questa steak house all'interno del casino Hippodrome. Confermo quanto già recensito in precedenza. Carne tenerissima e squisita cotta alla perfezione. Grande ospitalità e cordialità ( il direttore di sala è italiano e molto disponibile e cordiale). Come aperitivo ci è stato offerto dello champagne. Ambiente gradevole e particolare, giacché i tavoli sono collocati su balconate che aggettano sulla sala di gioco. Disponibile nel menù anche piatti di pesce e pollame. In tre persone, carne + dessert + birra, abbiamo speso £ 150 circa.

I keep coming back because this is my favourite restaurant. I was here for Valentine's evening with my husband and as expected the food and service was excellent, It's also great value for money. We were given a surprise complementary glass of prosecco to celebrate our recent marriage which was a lovely touch. I'm a pescatarian and have never had any issues with the menu. Make a night of it and have a flutter in the casino.

We ate here last night as we went to wat h magic Mike. Service was good but portion size was ethier to small or too big so we didnt eat it all. It's also very expensive so be prepared to spend some money. But the food taste amazing (:

Recently had a meal at the Helios Steak House and enjoyed the steak and lobster dish. the lobster was very tender and the steak was succulent. Was surprised at the variety of food, but without doubt the is a steak eater’s paradise with many different types of steak to choose from. Would highly recommend a visit, but best to book in advance.

Ate at the Heliot steakhouse prior to seeing Magic Mike Live. We ate from the MML set menu, which is great value for money. Service was attentive and food was yummy. Staff knew we were going to the show and even kindly reminded us about time.

Brilliant restaurant loved the food. We got the steak lobster tail and champagne deal which was fabulous. Staff were wonderful drinks great and fab setting I would definitely recommend and return on my next visit

Mis amigos y yo tuvimos una experiencia fantástica cenando en el Heliot Steak House el sábado 25 de enero de 2020. Optamos por el almuerzo de champán sin fondo 30 por persona que incluía filete, langosta, patatas fritas y un postre. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. El bistec (como parte del trato) era bistec, así que todos pasamos al filete por un recargo de 8. Bien vale la pena el dinero! ¡Fue el mejor filete que he comido! La langosta era un poco pequeña pero no se podía esperar una langosta de tamaño completo con esta oferta. Para ser sincero, fue más que suficiente.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 course special offer dinner. Generous portion sizes. Steaks cooked to perfection... The wine list is interesting. Excellent service. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Looking for a good restaurant in Leicester Square before a show can be a bit of a challenge. Look no further as this restaurant will not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and displayed excellent customer service. We were offered the evenings “special” consisting of lobster, steak and a glass of fizz for an extremely low price and were absolutely delighted with the quality of the food and the alternative menu should we choose to order from that.

Lovely staff, great tasting food and amazing value for money! The surprise complimentary birthday dessert rounded the meal off wonderfully! Thank you.

I took my parents for lunch just before Christmas, we were warmly welcomed and serviced a delicious quality meal.

I went alone for dinner because a friend told me the steaks there are incredible, so i had mine with foie gras, horrible choice!!

Visited for a pre-theatre dinner due to it's location to all the major theatres in the west end.

Really nice setting. Nice waitress. Lobster was horrible. Cake was great. Asked for help with breaking up lobster as was my first try and got left.

3rd meal here and sadly the last. the service was just OK. The worst part for me was the standard of the customers, previously was a lovely ambience, now it’s drunk riff raff in scruffy clothing. It’s such a shame it’s gone down hill. other than the lobster being an empty shell with zero meat in, the chips were nice and hot, the salad was well seasoned... not exactly difficult to find a portion of hot chips in London though. unfortunately would not recommend

Second time eating at the steak house, being members of my Vegas MGM was very disappointing, the atmosphere was great as was very quiet there we was about the very few people in there, however when ordering food it was all ok, however they thought they didn’t need to take the order down, brought out the starters they were wrong, given to the wrong people, also 3 of us ordered burgers however they brought 3 burgers out wrong, also gave them to the wrong people, just took them back to the kitchen one of them they changed, the other two we had to wait to be cooked, by the time they came out the other two people had finished....... the first time we had eaten there was amazing, very let down this time.....

This restaurant is very handy if you are watching the show. Magic Mike. The food was ok I had the Magic Mike menu steak and lobster.... the lobster was nice the steak was right a bit tasteless ......The French fries were cold, the dessert was very small and tasted ok... nothing special..., the coffee was very good.

Excellent food and service. We all had steaks and each one served to perfection. The starters were excellent too especially the lollipops.

We booked this online. Four of us were shown to a table by the kitchen door. I asked what other tables were available and we sat at a good table by the balcony overlooking the casino. Steak, lobster tail, chips and a glass of champagne for £20 each. Excellent value! The food and service were very good. Of course the bill was more than double by the time we added desserts, wine and beers plus service charge. Still great value in the middle of the West End and a great time was had by all. Our second visit and we'll be back for a third.

I brought my team for dinner. We all had a reasonable evening, but the service and prices mean it’s okay not better.

Went for pre show steak and lobster with chips, lobster and steak was very nice, and glass of champagne, which we had to ask for. At the time of booking the offer was also dessert which was chocolate brownie with ice cream, but was told that was another offer which was now finished! We luckily still had our booking confirmation so showed it was with brownie, we were bought out the brownie ( which was lovely) but had we not showed our confirmation we wouldn't have. Waitress was very slow and not happy! Probably would go elsewhere should I ever go to a show at Hippodrome again.

My wife and I visited the Heliot steak house on the 14th December for a wedding anniversary dinner, when we were seated we received a complementary glass of bubbly which was really thoughtful. The steaks and lobster we had were incredible and the staff were very attentive. After our meal we were given a pudding with a happy anniversary wrote in chocolate which again was very thoughtful. Thank you Heliot for making our night.

Had a great time, what more could you ask for... £30 unlimited champagne, steak & lobster, key lime pie. Yes got tipsy but certainly was NOT a nuisance to other guests, lighten up!! Enjoy the ambience!! Staff were amazing, glass never empty. If you want an exclusive birthday experience THEN PAY FOR IT!! what you get for the money is fantastic value. We celebrated my partners birthday with the £30 unlimited champagne, steak, lobster, fries and dessert deal and felt that the food was good, but the service was awful. Miserable staff who made you feel like an inconvenience. We shouldn't have been in a position whereby we had to ask for a top up of our champagne and when we were topped up we were told it was our last drink and made to feel like alcoholics! There were diners who had clearly had too much to drink and were making quite a nuisance of themselves. What should have been an enjoyable celebration was ruined by the tone created by the staff

Me and a friend had dinner on Saturday 7th December and had a fabulous meal. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were amazing, we left full and satisfied! We also went to see the Magic Mike show after, one of the best shows I've seen definitely worth a watch! Over all I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a fun night out with friends in London.

I booked to come here for a surprise pre-show dinner with my boyfriend and had a great time! The food was amazingly prepared and presented. Cannot complain about anything here, the price was reasonable for what we got. Will recommend any of my meat eating friends!

I love the architecture of the Hippodrome building - it is quite stunning and very well preserved / maintained. Whilst it houses a large 24 hour casino, which is not my bag at all, there is also a separate bar and restaurant in the building. Restaurant majors in steak and serves excellent prime cuts just the way you want them. I wanted to see inside and so went to the restaurant ! The interior was , for me , a let down - hideous lights and many crimes against my idea if interior design ! - just my personal view. In future I will continue to admire from outside ! For me it was an average overall experience.

This is a gem n the centre of London! The food is great and such good value for money. The staff are lovely and cant do enough for you!

When it was suggested that we were eating in Leicester Square, my chin sank... and when I was told it was a steak restaurant, it fell further... and when I was told it was part of the Hippodrome Casino, I was ultra-depressed...

Greeted on arrival in hallway by happy staff, "here to help" Great bar, full of hustle & bustle, lots going on. Heliot steak house was amazing. A bit pricey, but, hey you get what you pay for eh. Steaks on offer were amazing, all arrived in good time, freshly prepared to our liking, everyone commented on food. Chose a couple of bottles of expensive red wine to go with the meal, Brilliant. We would very much reccomend this place if you are in London.

What a wonderful meal we had. Went for Magic Mike menu steak and lobster with a glass of bubbles-before we saw the show. Delicious food of an excellent standard. We had lots of specific questions and adaptions and the waiters and team dealt with us brilliantly. It was fantastic level of high end service. Nothing was too much. Yummy cocktails, recommend the Pina Coladas!! Will be back again for sure.

Abbiamo prenotato in questa Steak House, attratti dagli ottimi feedback. Il locale è all'interno del Casino Hippodrome in pieno centro; per entrare non richiesto alcun dress code, ma è necessario un documento di riconoscimento (carta identità o passaporto). Passando tra i tavoli da gioco, si sale su alcune balconate ove è sito il ristorante, in posizione strategica per dominare i sottostanti tavoli da gioco. All'arrivo siamo stati accolti da Direttore di Sala, un italiano di Lecce, venticinquenne, che ci ha subito riconosciuto come connazionali e, parlandoci in italiano, ci ha offerto dei flute di champagne per festeggiare il suo compleanno che ricorreva proprio quel giorno accompagnati da pane caldo ed un assortimento di salsine, oltre che burro condito ed olio di ottima qualità. Quindi ci ha guidato nella scelta delle portate. Carne americana, davvero ottima, cotta alla perfezione (al sangue), molto molto gustosa. Dessert discreto. Prezzo sulle 100 GBP in 3 persone.

I came here two times earlier this year and went back again last month. Foods was good and service was very good as usual.

Went to dinner, haven’t been for a while, seen a couple of negative comments, so was apprehensive, needn’t have bothered, still the same attention to detail, staff visible and attentive.

We were attending the Magic Mike Show and booked here for pre-show meal, which included a glass of champagne, Steak, Lobster and Chips followed by a chocolate brownie all for £20.00 per person, amazing.

I booked this restaurant on line which was very easy to do. The steak and lobster deal for £20 pp with glass of champagne was very good value. The lobster was a bit small but the steak was a decent size and both were cooked to perfection. We both had a pudding which we paid extra for. Overall the food was very nice, the waitress friendly and attentive and a good experience.

Bar far one of the best steak houses I have been too. I have eaten at a lot of “specialist” steak restaurants including much more expensive ones here & abroad and the steak here has always been better. This was the 3rd time I have been here and every time the steak has been perfect! The prices are very reasonable too considering the quality of the meat. Not cheap, but not over the top expensive either.

The meal was perfect and the service was beyond anything I have ever experienced. From the manager to our server. We had assumed the restaurant was open at lunch but discovered it wasn't, the manager suggested we come back for dinner. We did, and he recognized our party and provided us a wonderful table, and cocktails his treat followed by perfect food. A fantastic experience for my first time in England. I will be returning as often as I am in London!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience while dining at the Helios Steak House. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and such a romantic setting in the back of the restaraunt. Perfect for a special occasion (ours was a 25th anniversary) or just a gourmet meal at half the price of the Ramsay/Pierre White/Waring venues. I come from the Gulf Coast of Florida and the seafood (Prawn Cocktail, Crab, Dover Sole) was so fresh, I thought I was back home! The steak is USDA prime, and the flavour is out of this world, cooked to perfection. Everything was seasoned perfectly, no salt or pepper required. Don't let the casino location put you off, this is the real deal!

Ultimately I went here for a steak, and it was lovely. What let it down was how the waitress dealt with the Mlife vouchers we had. We presented the vouchers on arrival. £25 off food and drink and a cocktail at Helliot. After ordering my steak (large) I was told I could only use the voucher for a medium one (Really?)My wife ordered a cocktail only to be told after the cocktail arrived we couldn't use the voucher, m aning we had to pay the full £9.75 for it!!

I attended the Meatology course on Wed night aka How to prepare and cook steaks.The Executive Chef, Ioannis Grammenos, spent two hours sharing with us his method for preapring great steaks. He is a star! I learned so much and then got to eat a great sirloin. The Hippodrome is a great venue. Nice bars and good value. I would recommend that you visit.

Went out with my lovely wife to this Casino/Bar/Restaurant.The steak was a close competitor to the Hawksmoor only cheaper..lovely atmosphere and service.

It’s just past 21:30, we’ve just left the theater and decided the only food we want, is steak.

Great evening, great choice of cocktails, really good meal at Helios and then magic Mike show.

I was looking for a reasonably priced private dining room in London for a Saturday night and my google search revealed the Hippodrome Casino. I didn’t even realise that there was a restaurant (Heliot) in the casino but all the reviews I could find online were highly complimentary so I booked it and I’m so glad I did. Everything about the experience was excellent; the pre event organisation, the room (without room hire with a modest minimum spend), the excellent food, the overall value and to the staff who looked after our every need. I also thought the drink prices were very reasonable and many people commented on the quality of the house wines. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Heliot Steak House remains one of my favorite restaurants in London! The quality of the food and especially the steak is just amazing, and the options for sides are immense! - the Millionaire MacNCheese is perfection and so moreish.

I had originally booked this as a date but my date had to work so I had to go solo but my server, Margarita treated me amazing! She was very cheerful and made sure she kept my drinks full and the food was amazing. I had the meatballs as a starter( the best I’ve ever tasted) and a sirloin with Mac and cheese/chunky chips! I eat steaks well done and usually restaurants mess it up but definitely not here! The steak and everything was juicy and cooked perfectly! I loved it all! I will definitely come back!!

Visited the Heliot Steakhouse on a recommendation and wasn’t to be disappointed!

Worktrip to London, celebrating a special occation, and booked a private room for a 3 course meal for 22 people. A few in our group are a bit high maintenance (including me) - special dietary needs, allergies and so on. We were very well taken care of.

This was a treat for my birthday from my daughter. Magic Mike tickets & a meal.

We have been here many times as it’s the best steak In London. From our welcome, to our server, to our meal, just perfect. I would highly recommend the Sea Bass Ceviche for starters, for me Fillet Steak for mains, followed by Baked Alaska for dessert with a bottle of bubbles to wash it down with. Another great meal, looking forward to our next visit.

Realised it was in the Hippodrome Casino which made it a bit difficult to find as there was no outside signage for the restaurant. The seating area was an elevated section of the casion with views of the main casino floor. Modern fixtures and fittings were fine but ambiance was a little impersonal.

We've eaten here a few times and never been let down! We always have steak and it's always been how we've requested it to be cooked. Food is brilliant, staff are nice and the place has a good atmosphere!!

Due to traffic we arrived late so only had time for a main course and one drink as we had to leave to go to a show. The waitress and maître d’ were very accommodating/understanding with this and rushed our order even letting me pay the bill halfway through eating so we could leave straight away! The 18oz steak for my partner which was requested as well done was in fact well done which was brilliant especially due to the time constraints. I also enjoyed my salmon dish, the champagne sauce was lovely. Note that the steak comes on its own and you pay for extras such as salad and chips. The waitress/waiter constantly topped up our water which was a nice touch. I had emailed the restaurant beforehand requesting a table overlooking the casino part to which they replied and said they would do their best (which they did!), and I also asked if my partner’s dessert could have a ‘happy birthday’ theme to it which they said they would (unfortunately we had to leave early!). Overall great food and great service so will be returning. But such a pity about the doorman on the main entrance which was quite off putting. We have never visited the Hippodrome before and there appears to be three different entrances. My partner asked the doorman if we were in the right place for the restaurant and we were looked up and down and asked ‘What restaurant’. I replied with ‘the one at the Hippodrome’ to which he eventually asked ‘Heliot Steak House?’. I said ‘Yes’ and he again looked up and down again and said ‘Are you sure’. Of course I’m sure I booked it...He then said ‘1st floor’, stepped aside and carried on speaking to his colleague. We both found him to be quite rude and unnecessary, and it almost put us off from coming in. Aside from that I can say we will definitely plan for a longer evening to just visit the restaurant part again for the whole three courses plus more drinks and great service!

Once again I will leave a very positive review as this place hits all the right spots, the cocktail bar, the casino and of course the restaurant. I visited with my wife, son and his girlfriend, the menu has changed a little and I had the scallops to start and they were perfectly cooked. Amongst the dishes we had were new on the menu Rack of Lamb, Fillet steak and my son had the 500grm Sirlion all were cooked to perfection. Simply love this place as do my two sons who visit regularly when in London.

Had a set pre-theatre meal here for 3 friends and it was an absolute bargain. Fizz on arrival, rump steak and lobster tail with fries, then a peanut butter brownie with banana ice cream to finish. £20!!! Absolute bargain for a meal in London and a nice setting upstairs, overlooking the casino floor. Great start to the evening, would recommend.

I booked a lunch deal which is basically a 200gm rump steak, a whole small lobster tail and chips followed by a nice key lime pie accompanied by as much champagne as one can drink in two hours and believe me when I say that’s quite a lot! - £39 a head inclusive. Out table was adequate and comfortable. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were lovely but the lobster was a little over and the plates could have been a bit warmer. The champagne was well chilled and good but not great. So what! Our waiter was super friendly and super efficient and the whole experience was fab. We chatted to the guys on the next table and they seemed pretty happy with what they’d ordered as well. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

There’s something alien about stepping foot in a casino at 7pm. First of all being ID’d and bag searched by burly bouncers that had just stepped of the Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels movie set, or so it seemed. And, secondly, watching a sea of suits tossing down more money on tables than I’d made that day in the office, or seen in my life, come to think of it!

Found a pre Magic Mike meal deal by chance and it was amazing! We all had beautifully cooked steaks and amazing puddings. Definitely worth a visit!

During our last visit to London we had a MyVegas reward to use for this restaurant.

La comida es increíble, y el servicio también lo es. Sinceramente, no me puedo quejar. Venimos del norte y nunca nos decepcionamos. El gerente se sentó con nosotros para conversar después de nuestra comida, con una copa de su vino recomendado, y lo hizo muy personal. Se pone mejor cada vez! ! No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente! !

Era escéptico sobre comer en un restaurante dentro de un casino, pero me impresionó la calidad de la comida y el ambiente de este lugar. La carne estaba muy bien cocinada y las patatas fritas eran irreales. Tuvimos una comida encantadora - muy recomendable.

One of the best Steaks by far in a long time, outstanding. As was the Truffles Sauce ;-)) Special location inside of a nice, modern Casino. You can only come for the STEAK - and should if you like fillet.

Excellent steaks, best chunky chips ever, attentive service and a really cool location... what more could you want? Well there is more... desserts that are devine. Their two chocolate mousse was just the best!

Was the best steak i have ever eat in london full of flavour texture....the seabass ceviche amazing exotic flavours around and the apresentation no words to describe....and to finish the experience at heliot steak house wasthe service provided by the waiter CARLOS very professional,attentive, and funny person he let us feel very confortable....TANKYOU CARLOS and all team at hippodrome casino
