Hearty Appetite in Brighton and Hove

all the foods is very tasty. all the dishes we tried were very good. there are a lot of breakfast varieties, and I recommend trying chicken wraps.

Amazing breakfast and brunch options. The owners are super sweet, they gave my friend a birthday cake for her birthday :) also not to mention that they make the best gozleme you can find in town!

I have been there a few times now and I can only say that I cannot wait to go back again. Staff is very attentive and always welcoming you with a smile, nothing it seems to be too much trouble for them. They have a great menu with a wide selection of sandwiches and dishes for all tastes. The food and coffee are delicious at a very good price.

This is a gorgeous cafe. Dont get me wrong - the coffee is good, the waitress is lovely. BUT in these times you'd want to see more measures taken to ensure safety. The NHS app scan is in the window but apart from that, we couldn't see any awareness. The tables are right next to each other (less than a meter) and the staff dont wear masks. No sanitiser. We would go back but not at the moment since there are so many cafes in Brighton and Hove doing more.

Don't buy coffee there. I asked warm not hot, got it probably 90 degree and that's my mouth now. The coffee wasn't even changed. She just spilled out some milk and added cold on top

We had a lovely breakfast! My picky boyfriend had a really lovely toast. He said it was the best toast ever in Brighton. I had a nice panini with aubergine, olive paste, feta and avocado! They have a good variety of tasty food. Also, they have a nice coffee, sometimes difficult to find in UK. Highly recommend it!

Stopped in for a late breakfast and a couple of hours work on the laptop. I had the continental breakfast which was very good and the coffee was amazing. The WiFi was good. Looked very busy at lunch.

Perfect place to drink a coffee or have lunch while you r working on your PC. It's really small but has a unique and rustic apperence. The cappuccino was very good!

I've been here few times and the food and drinks are always amazing. Orange juice is best in town, freshly cold pressed every day as the server told us! I've had a baked potato with tuna and cheese and it just tasted yummy... All the ingredients are full of flavour :) My partner got it as well with the next visit. All the food is always prepared in authentic Turkish way. We had gozleme here too, which is flat Turkish bread filled with different fillings like feta, potato, spinach or minced meat or with Nutella if you like it sweet. Highly recommended. And they deliver it too, through Dinner2go. So we can have it delivered for the lazy days in bed :)

I love poping in here! Especially for the freshly home made mezze bar accompanied by some delicious coffee. Owner is nearly aways there, happy as ever really to greet me. They have a great selection of fresh food, and can make you pretty much any sandwich, wrap or pannini you like! And if you fancy, have something with the Mediterranean authentic twist (the gozleme is delicious!). One of my favourite like deli/cafes in Brighton and Hove! :D

Use this place. Everything about it, other than being small, but that's it's charm, is spot on. Value, taste, staff... everything. U sit opposite SB with and extra £5 left in your pocket!!!!!

Stopped here for a light lunch and a coffee. It's small but the staff were super friendly, answering all the questions from my wife re the different sandwiches. The coffee was strong and really tasty; the tuna melt was full and not too hot and the Baclava was just gorgeous! Can't wait to go again.

I often have breakfast here - it is a delight, with eggs and pastrami/salami (or without), olives salad, 2 cheeses, honey - as seen in the photo. You can also sit outside on the pavement on a fine day. Their other food is also great, as is the coffee, and try here if you like gooeyTurkish pastries - and the service is friendly and efficient. In an area with many great cafes, Take manages to stand out. Much recommended!

This place reminds me of antalya, the food was great and I would definitely return to this place. Definitely recommend to try Menemen breakfast . Also perfect custom service.

Stop by for lunch on Saturday, first time we have been here, lovely paninis and wraps all freshly cooked and reasonably prices, On the high street sat outside not a problem with people walking past.

Nos recomendaron tomar como el mejor lugar para tomar café en el área, pero cuando llegamos nos dimos cuenta que fuera es un establecimiento turco mi esposa estaba preocupado de que ella no sería capaz de conseguir un "té ordinaria". No es un problema, y tanto el té y el café era excelente. Aunque la mayoría de la clientela parecía ser turco nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y una agradable conversación con la persona que hemos asumido de ser el propietario. Ya que habíamos comido no probamos la comida, pero parecía delicioso y planeamos volver para el almuerzo en algunos futura visita a Brighton & Hove.

This small excellent Cafe on Western Road..is a great place to sample Turkish delights...the snacks are superb...and the Breakfast very tasty...fresh and healthy...( love the addition of cheese and honey)... A weekly treat......and great coffee too..

Un lugar muy agradable. Auténtico turco. y té turco simit que además de una gran variedad de comida internacional (principalmente sándwiches). Personal/propietario muy agradable y acogedor. La comida es buena. Amplia con menú vegetariano y sin gluten. . También me gustó mucho el pastel de chocolate vegano pero tiene un poco más de azúcar que recomiendo y que es en gran parte generosa, así que no pude terminar. El bar es también una preciosa idea mezze. . Los precios son muy razonables. . Recomiendo

Perfecto a cualquier hora del día para aperitivos y té turco buena en un ambiente agradable y relajado. El Borek Simit que sándwich frescos y deliciosos. !

Nos gusta usar este restaurante para el desayuno y su baño Turco llevar cajas de ensaladas. Karim es un excelente, amable anfitrión y sólo por ver sus deliciosos manjares wouth turco hace una visita obligada.

Good food, good location also the people work there are friendly!!It's the restaurant I will come and recommend to you, best Turkish dishes, tea and amazing Turkish coffee. Only there are not lots of tables, but everything is still nice to spend time there.

Woke up wanting Vegetables...A friend said go Hearty Appetite...I did... I ate... I LOVED!!!!!Kerem was a great host and I loved his beans... Well....all his food.....but the beans and oh ok the coffee.....oh just go and enjoy the food !!!!

The lunch time mezze box is yummy and great value for money! The flatbreads are amazing! This place is great option for cheap eats.

İt's a lovely place where you can choose many type of food.You should try Turkish Coffee,Gozleme Flat Bread,Beef Saute.And the best thing in here is many friendly people

So far I visited this restaurant three time. Two times for breakfast and one lunch time. For breakfast fast I had a plater with (egg with tomato) blue cheese, honey, olives, cucumber and tomato slices plus the tasty Turkish tea. Two words to describe their salad ( fresh and delicious). I also tried their cheese and parsley pastry (Yummy). I will definitely come back again and try their coffee with their paklava.

This tiny Turkish cafe sits across the road from Starbucks. Do yourself a favour and give them a miss and support this friendly, local independent cafe. The service was friendly and the coffee great (bet they pay their taxes too!). I'll be back to try some of their tasty looking food.

This is my favourite place to have lunch in the whole of Hove. All the food is so fresh and so tasty it beats all other over priced wannabes. It's not hipster so it's not expensive. Kerum the owner is always welcoming and upbeat.

This is a little bit of Turkey in the middle of Hove. Staff are warm and extremely friendly. There's a good choice of food. I'd say it's more traditional than innovative, and more of a cafe-deli lunch place than a dinner restaurant place - but tasty and very good value.

As soon as you walking in you will be greet by friendly staff . I was there with my mates and we had the perfect home made Mediterranean open buffet although affordable price . The location is just right and you will be enjoy your main road view while you are sipping your coffee . I will % 100 recommend the place as a food colic . Thank you to all Hearty Appetite staff whom made our time special.

A cursory glance at their menu and you'd be forgiven for thinking that this was just another sandwich bar in the city. But the starts of the show are no doubt the freshly made gozleme (like a Turkish crepe with feta, spinach or minced meat) and the mezze salad bar. When I'm working in the area, this is my go to for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch.

I have popped in here regularly over the last 3 months and my favourite meal is their mixed platter for only £3,00 - this is a fairly filling lunch of couscous, dolma, olives, sun-dried tomatoes. Delicious and extremely good value for money! These plates can be take-aways, that you can wow your guests at home with too!
