However long the lockdown the first place we had to visit for dinner was the Haworth Steam Brewery. So great to be welcomed back by the team under Kelly’s Management. Our food was delicious especially the Marrakesh Chicken Skewers. All home cooked by Kelly, you won’t hear the ping if a microwave here. Great selection of beers and of course their own gins. If you are planning a visit to Haworth this is an absolute gem but be sure to book well in advance as it’s very popular. You won’t be disappointed.

We come here every so often and I must say the food is just fabulous. I had the beef sizzler in peppercorn sauce, and his nibs had the braising steak with garlic and cheese mash. Lovely, quality food and huge Yorkshire portions, all served up by the lovely Mary, who is an absolute diamond and contributes to the warm welcome and Yorkshire ambience. A warm welcome always awaits. See you all again soon. Jamie and Baz.

My wife and I had the good fortune to have an exceptional Sunday lunch here, we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff and shown to our table, the food was well prepared and a very nice portion of food on the plate, we washed this down with a toffee gin with a bramley apple tonic water which simply tasted of bonfire night a great experience which I would definitely do again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and drink on a visit to the Bronte country.

Had lunch here. Portions huge , homemade comfort food set in a small cosy bar. Have their own brands of tonic and gins. Rhubarb and ginger tonic was very refreshing and their fruit beer was so good alcoholic but tastes like pop. All the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I would advise booking in advance. Well worth a visit and very reasonable prices as well.

Me and my family had an opportunity to stop at Haworth Steam Brewery for a dinner and I can honestly say this was the best Sunday Roast dinner I have ever had. Service was spotless. We are returning customers ans even regulars when in Haworth. Whether it is the gin, the ale of the food this is the place to enjoy your drinks an food in Haworth. All served by fantastic great team. The lamb chunk with mustard mash is the best I ever had on all 5 continents I visited. Hells Bells is my favourite ale. Any gin and tonic is brilliant. So this is 5 plus star.

Impressed with the customer service first of all: I rang to book a table for a Saturday night but there was no availability. So after sending an email asking them to call me on the off chance of a cancellation, I got a call the next day with availability. We were seated straight away and Hubby had a stout and I had a lovely rhubarb gin and tonic. Food from a varied menu we chose was the steak pie and haddock with salmon and prawns: both meals were stunning. Really enjoyed our visit.

We always visit when in Haworth and the food and obviously the gin and their matched tonics are amazing. It was a fleeting visit today as we were camping nearby but I managed to get some of their amazing Lamplighter gin and gorgeous tonics which are going down very nicely. We visited this pub/restaurant on our last night in Haworth and am I pleased that we did! There are limited number of tables due to Covid restrictions so it's worth booking. We were greeted by Kelly, the Manager, and shown to our table. We ordered drinks whilst we studied the menu and we couldn't get over the prices! Everything was so reasonable! Eventually I settled on steak pie (large!), two scoops of mustard mash (equally large) and a dish of veg that I had to share because there was more than enough for two. My wife ordered a haddock ballatine stuffed with prawns, smoked salmon, etc. Both dishes were really delicious and were served piping hot. The dessert menu is limited but sufficient and equally delicious. Both Kelly & Josh, who served us, were very friendly and the food arrived in good time. Two small observations. First, my satnav took me to The Fleece in Main Street as this pub (which I reviewed earlier and is equally good) and the Haworth Steam Brewery seem to share the same post code. The Haworth Steam Brewery is about 100 yards back up the road. The other is that parking can be tricky in Main Street and it's easier to park in the car park on the corner just as you turn into Main Street, opposite the West Lane Baptist Centre. It's worth the short walk anyway so that you can look at some of the other amazing shops. If you are anywhere in the area you have got to make sure that you visit this restaurant but I recommend that you make sure that you are hungry!

We arrived in Hawarth early on Friday evening having travelled for almost 6 hours, so after reaching our lodgings for the weekend, we decided to eat out, and were lucky enough to get a table in this lovely quirky little pub, just around the corner. The young girls serving, we're all incredibly professional, very friendly and welcoming, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We had chicken with bacon, chicken burger, steak pie, all served with chips or fries, veg or salad, all delicious! The portions were huge, so no room for any of the tempting desserts on offer sadly. Although the staff were really lovely, my daughter happened to overhear a customer at the bar, obviously a local sadly, make a rather nasty comment about 'bloody Londoners' loud enough for us to hear. We are not from London, and my daughter's were treating me to a short break from caring for my 34 year old son who has learning disabilities. We have been visiting Hawarth for many years, always feeling comfortable as a 'tourist' We too live in a very beautiful place, frequented all year round by tourists, glad that they choose to visit and spend their hard earned cash, keeping our locals in employment, generating an income and keeping us viable. We will be returning to Hawarth, but unfortunately not to the Steam Brewery.

Had to wait nearly 30 minutes for lunch order to be taken. It wouldn’t have been quite so irritating if the waitress hadn’t said 10 times that she would be with us in a second. Food eventually arrived nearly an hour after we we had first arrived and sat down. One of us was given the wrong sort of mash - waitress insisted that plain mash had been ordered, took it away to get the mustard mash and when she came back with mustard mash claimed this was what she had originally put on the table! Amazing - we laughed so much we couldn’t say anything. Caramelised onions missing and unless you want your food as a small island in a soup of gravy, ask for your gravy separately on the side.

My son and I were in Haworth for only 2 days but we actually ate lunch at the Haworth Steam Brewery both days. It's just outside the Old White Lion Hotel, where we were staying, so it was convenient -- though, really, Haworth is so small that nearly everything is convenient. I enjoyed some ale (recommended by the excellent waitress who fortunately has the same taste in beer as me), while my son had gin and tonic drinks. This brewery is known for their home-made gins and tonics and their gin menu is interesting and extensive. I really don't care for gin, but I tasted my son's (I think it was lemon-flavored) and I had to admit that it was delicious. We also had fish and chips -- a light lunch -- and a vegetarian friend was able to find an interesting meal for himself as well. Recommended.

We've been here a couple of times before. This was Sunday lunchtime and we got a table straight away, but I don't imagine this is always the case - it certainly shouldn't be. My wife had the roast dinner, I had liver and onions - oh yes, liver and onions. So much for the fried-to-an-unchewable-crisp slab of liver with scarcely cooked onions in a thin, uncharitable gravy I remember from miserable school dinners. This was thinly sliced, lovingly tended liver on a bed of mashed potatoes (and they could have been dandied up with cheese or garlic if I'd wanted) with onions cooked till soft but with a bit of bite left in them in a gravy that was lush. And a side dish of properly seasonable veg - no Guatemalan mangetout or Egyptian dwarf beans here: cabbage, cauliflower and carrots, all freshly cooked. Best meal out I've had for a longtime. My wife's roast was as luscious looking as my liver and she enjoyed it just as much.

We visited here several times over a 2 day visit to Haworth. This place is brilliant. The food is such value for money, huge portions and tasty. An amazing gin collection which you can also purchase to take home. The highlight however was the staff, so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Called in here with wifey, whilst having a look round Haworth, it’s in the Main Street opposite the church, looks a bit uninviting from the outside we wondered if it was open, took a chance, great choice, warm, friendly and really pleasant staff, great range of artisan gins brewed here, as well as their own beer, decided to have a bite to eat, both chose Yorkshire puds, sausage for wifey, stewed steak for me, great portions, fresh, red hot, just £9 each, excellent value, wifey found her favourite gin, old sweets “black jack” flavour, so much so she had 3 doubles!!, really enjoyed our time here, deffo come again, thanks

My family and I were looking for somewhere to eat after a day out in Haworth, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this traditional eatery/pub in the heart of Haworth's main street. From the outside, we had no idea what to expect because the windows are blacked out, but once we got inside we realised it is a good old-fashioned, cozy pub. The atmosphere inside the brewery was warm and welcoming. The food offered in the pub was reasonably priced and the portion sizes were substantial. I ordered the fish and chips, and would recommend this fish, because the fish tasted fresh. The servers in the brewery were excellent, very friendly and approachable. They were also attentive, and our food and drinks were served fairly quickly. Kelly, one of the servers was also able to reserve us a table at the last minute, which we didn't expect because the pub was so busy when we came in. All-in-all, a great place to eat and relax. We will be coming back to the brewery the next time we are in Haworth, to visit our new go-to pub in the main street.

Had a family meal here and the food and beer were brilliant. I had the fish and chips and I have to say they were one of the best I've had for a long time, with huge portion sizes. The price was a real surprise and I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again, brilliant spot!

We came up for Christmas and have eaten in here most days. The staff are great attentive, helpful. The food is brilliant my favourite being the chicken club and chips plenty to eat always hot and fresh, it's spotlessly clean too. Good prices and my husband says it was the best beer he'd had out of the main pubs.i like the prosecco personally

I had an imperial breakfast which was underwhelming considering the cost. The poached egg avacado rosti wasn't great, the temperature was tepid and the avacado was brown. The other pastries were nice.
