BE AWARE OF FOOD DELIVERY Always enjoyed eating in Havet so we decided to try a takeaway for a friend's birthday ordered through Uber...Never again took much longer than we were told, the food arrived very late and on the back seat of a car (Not in a container just loose bags) the man was lost we had to find him then he spoke no English so he was unable to call me to find out where we were. The food was stone cold. This was a big order for 9 people. Unfortunately most of the food was unappetising due to being cold and most of the ribs were inedible as they were fatty with very little meat, but apparently this is normal for Havet this was their reply to it ...it is not uncommon that for the lamb ribs to be fatty, this is quiet a fatty cut of meat. (Had I been served these in the restaurant I would if sent them back.) Be aware you pay Uber so Havet are not interested (I called them immediately) finally after many conversations with Ub er they refunded £50 . I did not feel this was enough as most of it went in the bin. I am not prepared to waste anymore time on them so I have to accept it. I just wanted to make people aware

Really big portions! Tasty food! Order carefully or you will be taking home a doggy box! Almost every customer I saw leave, including me, with a doggy box of food they couldn't eat. Only downside is it's not exactly a quiet location so not a place for an intimate meal.

Neco and Orhan who is the manager has straight offered a free table in the busy restaurant and I'm glad when they are around because they got my order straight and quick, delicious food with lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for the experience.

The wife and I had a meal here last night and evening was nothing but exceptional the staff were attentive the food was beautiful we were not bothered at any time or hurried to eat and finish our meal all food arrived hot and tasted lovely staff were very polite on entering the restaurant and noses were filled with goodness as the food traveled the whole length for the restaurant we was greeted straight away and seated our table promptly the restaurant was lovely and clean we will be visiting again 10 out of 10

Had the hot meze and some extra spicy fries. First time we had visited here. The sharer meze was definitely worth it. So many different taster dishes and certainly filling. All of it was very tasty. Would definitely come back

The best Turkey 🇹🇷 restaurant in the area. Actually I could rate it as the best restaurant in Tonbridge. Service - amazing, super friendly and very keen to help. Food - be aware the portions are very big. We could take home what it was left (probably about 1/2 of the food). Atmosphere - really pleasant.

Food is always of a high quality and is the best Turkish food I have found in the UK! All the staff are friendly and attentive. Also, they do an NHS discount too which is a massive bonus! We eat here often, their lunch and dinner menus are brilliant. I have also done their bottomless, which was very generous with the booze!

Visited with friends and kids in October half term. Food was delicious - especially the sticky toffee pudding! The service was very good too. It’s a little pricey now but we really did enjoy the food!

We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate Nannies and Grandson’s birthdays, a family of 4 adults and 2 young children. We have frequented Havet 3 or 4 times a year as the food and service is excellent and in the past was reasonably priced. But I am sorry to say that I feel that I have been fleeced. Unfortunately, I did not check my bill before paying and on reviewing I find a ‘suggested’ 10% service charge added apparently because of the size of the party. There are also 3 ‘Extras’ (£13) on the bill which the only extra we can remember was a bowl of chips for the two-year-old. The food and service were excellent, but at £154 for 4 adults and 2 small children whilst two of the party were driving is excessive. We may return as we like the food and atmosphere (noisy), but future visits will be restricted and I will certainly be scrutinising my bill in the future. There are many excellent eateries in the Tonbridge area, Havet is no longer at the top of our list.

I've been here many times, in fact it's my favourite place. I've never had a bad experience

Firstly, I do visit here 3-5 times a year. Recently, I have been x3 in the past 2 months for meet ups etc. we usually book a booth if we can get one. On arrival, all happy to greet you. After that it is pretty much downhill for service! I can’t work out if this is because we are in a booth and forgotten about or just bad service? But since the booths are situated by the waiter’s station, it can’t really be that. They come around very sharp for drinks. Unfortunately, the four of us ordered a bottle of wine, by the time our food order was taken and arrived, we ordered another bottle, as it took so long (good for them). After the main meal we waited over 25 mins for plates to be cleared and then had to wait a further 10 mins or so until we got the attention of a waiter, to order desserts - which had jumped up to between £7-£9. So we didn’t bother. It then took another 20 mins on top to try and catch the eye of a waiter for the bill. This was lunchtime and by no means busy (midweek). The food was great as always, but service is poor. This isn’t just once, seems to always be happening. The friendliness seems to end after the order. They had put a £15 tip/service charge on the bill, which fortunately was spotted before we paid. And no, we did not leave a tip, as every time to us, the service is poor. When you get great staff, you get great tips. Sadly these waiters have all worked in there for a long time, and good service seems to appear on how often you visit!

I was a little concerned that there wouldn't be many vegetarian options for my daughter and I when we visited Havet in Tonbridge with friends. We decided to go for the Meze options and they were so good. We shared 5 between us, including a cous cous dish and there was so much food that we took some home with us. Each dish was delicious and beautifully cooked. It's a big restaurant and I imagine when it's full it would have a buzzing atmosphere. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend the Sosul Patlican (aubergine and peppers in a tomato sauce), Helim Izgara (grilled halloumi) Peynir Borek (feta and spinach filo parcels) and the Humus - all scrumptious.

The food here is excellent and good value. Great cocktails also ! I like how they give you table water and keep that topped up. Varied menu and available in combos with 1 or 2 sides. We were a party of 6 and all enjoyed their meals . Would recommend

As I told the man the best kebab I ever tasted and I always tell the truth.The only reason wasn't excellent is the loo,decor ok 1 sit down loo and water around near stem on floor. Service good but all male hence reflected in tables place needs a woman's touch .the little decor little things. Having said that second to none n I'm 51 best kebabs I ever did taste.If the burger was derived from after a long process roast beef;now I've tasted the "where street kebabs "original is from. This place will be known for England's best Turkish if it isn't already. Can't wait to go back

We popped out for a spot dinner on a Thursday night, though we didn't book it didn't seem to matter though the restaurant looked quite busy. The menu seemed large and varied and the waiter was quick to take our order. unfortunately that is were the quickness ended, we waited nearly 50 minutes for our food and not one waiter even popped by to check how things were even after we got our food. The meat was nice but the sides uninspiring. A yogurt would have been nice. We had to almost hunt down a waiter to pay and when he took our dishes away he spilt some food on the table, then walked away without clearing it up or apologising. We found the restaurant noisy and hard to hear each other.

I fantastic food and friendly service. We had the hot meze platter to start which was more than enough for 4 adults followed by mains with rice and salad. No room for dessert! Friendly pricing too. Will definitely be back.

We find ourselves in Tonbridge (for a friends wedding on Saturday). This restaurant gets good reviews on Trip so thought we would give it a try. There is a good reason it gets good reviews, great service and fantastic food. Go and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed I had a lamb shish and it was the best lamb I have ever had. We regularly attend Havet for our Turkish craving. I've been to many Turkish restaurants but nothing has came close to Havet, we come here monthly since they opened and it's the consistency of service and great food that keeps us coming back. Keep up the great work and look forward to dining again soon.

1st class service, freshly prepared Turkish food.

Incredibly busy however the staff were amazing and attentive. Food was slightly delayed (waited 40mins). When it did arrive it was nice, fresh and prepared perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.

Food ok but only average and expensive. Our opinion overpriced by 20/25% compared to similar restaurants. Havet is nothing special.
