Following my recent knee operation I came here for breakfast with a friend whom I hadn’t seen in a while. Our waitress Clare was phenomenal! We had an amazingly warm welcome and nothing was any trouble particularly for my overly-fussy friend and my current mobility issue! Clare would got everything for me and insisted I not try to do it myself with my crutches, which was greatly appreciated! Food was piping hot and cooked exactly to our requirements. Could not fault it one bit!

Met for a business meeting with a supplier. Great location just off the motorway and a nice relaxed vibe. Fantastic service by Clare, efficient and very helpful would visit again

Visited for Dinner on Sunday August 6th after having a great experience a few weeks before. They were very busy, and completely understand that can be challenging with resourcing still difficult in hospitality. BUT....my favorite feature of the Restaurant is the Salad Bar, which looked like it had been attacked by locusts! We were left with a choice (sorry remains) of Sweet Corn, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Butter Beans, and Coleslaw. Every other tray scraped clean, and even the croutons and onion flakes were reduced to dust in the bottom of the jars. I will however acknowledge there were some Pasta Tubes, but couldn't bring myself to pick them up off the floor. I'd also already stepped on one, which reduced its appeal even further! I mentioned it to a member of staff as they flew past, they gave a cursory glance to the empty trays, nodded their head, and pressed on. We went back to the tables, waited 15 minutes, but returned to find no change. I therefore settled for sweet corn and butter beans with blue cheese sauce and a piece of tomato! Not a bad combination actually. Main meals were lovely. Cooked perfectly - compliments to the chef. Waiter (very pleasant tall chap) was great. Come on guys!!!! Nice location, good well cooked food, some really nice staff. Please don't let yourself down on the silly things! It might be just the salad bar to you, but for some people, it's one of the main reasons they visit your restaurants again and again!

Called at this location as staying nearby, at approximately 7:00pm, enquired at the front desk about a table, to be informed they were fully booked until 8:30pm, so asked if could book a table for then, to be told not available ! So why lie to me that fully booked until 8:30pm when not available at all that night. Customer service needs reviewing, and colleagues instructed to be honest

Myself and my partner went for lunch I had Gammon pineapple and chips, my partner had a steak flatbread we managed to eat together as usual at a harvester unless it's the one at seven styles in Spytty Newport. Since we have been banned from eating their because i requested a gammon that was Cooked properly. We have been to the harvesters in Cwmbran, llanederne , pontypool , Cardiff bay , Bridgend I had gammon in all of them with no issues at all perfectly edible and well cooked , I have bee politely banned from the harvester in Spytty after I complained about our last 2 visits the gammon was burnt and inedible All of the other harvesters have been great , we were served by Jessica today who was pleasant gave us a warm welcome and provided great service throughout our meal on the 26th June 14.43 table 9. The Restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly and given menus. It was Father's Day so they had a special which consisted of starter, main and dessert for 21.99 which I thought was reasonable. However as most of our party of 5 didn't want all three we ordered from the a la carte menu. The food was served quickly and there was a salad bar where you could select what salads you liked. Most of the party were satisfied with their dishes but some found the spare ribs a bit tasteless. I would go again as the prices were reasonable enough.
