Hatch Coffee in Newcastle upon Tyne

SO good. You can just take your own cup and they will fill it to that size (unsure of cost difference as my partner paid). Got a chocolate brownie for £3 and it was incredible, so soft and gooey. Would really recommend if you are ever in town.

Great local coffee made to perfection every time i've been and served in compostable cups. Brownies and flapjacks etc from Gareth James Chocolatier are something else 🤤 all very reasonably priced. Everything i look for in a coffee shop, all covered in this tiny little hut 👌

We visited it today for the first time and ngl it’s THE BEST COFFEE in town! For the first time I tried REAL chai latte with espresso which didn’t taste like a sugar milk. Great and rich flavor 🔥 Would totally recommend ✨

Thank goodness Hatch has reopened after the summer recess/lockdown It has always served the best coffee in Newcastle - now, because it is a kiosk in the open air you minimise your chance of picking up a virus along with your cappuccino!

I must say, Hatch Coffee has flown under the radar for quite a long time, and having visited this place several times, this is easily the best seller for coffee in Newcastle. My drink is the usual £2.50 Latte, hardly original considering every cafe or coffee shop will serve this drink, but what stands out for Hatch Coffee, is that you will actually enjoy. Coffee, unless you're making your own at home, tends to be a bland experience, done primarily to boost your stamina after a long day at work or during a break, but at Hatch Coffee, the experience is surprisingly pleasing, and easily a winner for future repeat visits.

Incredible! Might be the best coffee in town and I’m a tough judge! Little horse trailer in a car park. Only open 7-2 Monday-Friday Been meaning to go there, Really happy I did. The line should of been an indicator that it was great coffee. I read about them in a coffee guide! The staff member that was working was super friendly and a great person to see in the morning on my way to face the drama of the day! I hope to go way more cause it on my way to work! I saw they had a loyalty stamp card, Into that idea! Who doesn’t like discounts or freebies? The price, Way cheaper than I thought it would be. My drink was like £2.50 when most espresso bars would be like £4 for that same drink. Highly HIGHLY recommended

He changes his coffee supplier approximately every three months so he keeps you engaged with his place. Every term, you get a different taste. He is a successful/ clever businessman/coffeemaker. You can do long chat with him upon coffee.

Every visit to Newcastle involves the pleasure of seeing Mark and enjoying the perfect flat white. The sign of a quality coffee is the ability to sample and enjoy the base espresso and Marks knowledge regarding tasting notes and variation is excellent. This delicious coffee combined with local organic dairy makes for an really good coffee. Highly recommend and the variety of drinks and snacks on offer will compliment the start to a busy day or a frosty festive shopping trip. Give it a try.
