Myself and my wife went for a quick lunchtime bite. Had some.lovely truffle fries, and some meze style plates

My hanging kebab was cold and it took 25 mins to get a drink. We were forgotten about apparently.

First thing we noticed were the lovely welcoming staff who made us feel comfortable with our baby being there and second was the food... yum.

Everytime I come to Harvey’s Anya is always so welcoming and a fab, attentive waitress! She really makes the experience so much better she needs a promotion 🥰

This is our first visit to Harvey's. We had no table reserved but the young man greeted me and nothing was too much trouble or more important than to find a table for me and my family. We opted for Sunday Roast chicken and beef. mash, roasties, roast carrots, roast parsnips, green beans, cabbage, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and we opted to pay extra for cauliflower cheese as well. Sticky toffee pudding for afterwards was yummy ! Ossett brewery Yorkshire Blonde was perfect to accompany ! Lovely meal. We will return. Thankyou.

A large group of us attended before Christmas and wow what a wonderful dining experience it was. We had pre-ordered food and had zero issues on the night. The service was prompt and polite, the food was delicious and drinks were flowing! Very successful night for us, thanks again. I personally ordered a hanging kebab which was delicious and enjoyed a cheesecake for dessert. Cocktails were delicious too. No complaints!

Was shown to a high seated table, asked if there was a lower table not a problem & was seated straight away.

Visited with friends recently for the first time. So busy. It's great to see, especially as we are all being told finances are tight. Good to see so many people spending on good food and great service.

No beer, plenty of lager but no beer - not even Newcastle brown or draft Guinness - VERY expensive, staff surly, busy talking to each other, don't smile, don't know about what they sell.

Excellent place for food, modern decor, excellent service and great food. Had Sunday lunch from the varied menu and the best I have had for some time.

Great food loved everything we ordered. Does get very busy and luckily we could be accommodated without a booking. Would definitely recommend this place. Parking is a bit difficult.

I came here for a family meal for my birthday and it was brilliant. The staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to make it special and seamless. The food was excellent and the drinks were lovely. I had the garlic chicken hanging kebab and it was great. I also had a special Halloween cocktail which was very tasty! I'd recommend Harvey's for a lovely meal anytime, but it was even more fantastic for celebrating a special occasion.

Very tasty meal. I opted for Sunday lunch, the other half fillet steak and young one burger. We all left nicely full and satisfied. Professional staff and clean environment. I would highly recommend

The look of the Restaurant is nicley done. The Service been overwhelmed. The Food been OK there been missing the authenic, what will say "yes this is Harvey's". The Burger tasted like everywhere else. Not nicley presented just on the plate thats it. For the price what u charge not good enough. Drink prices are to high. Sorry guys got my own Restaurant with Burgers.

We went as a party of 14 and we all got our meals at the same time. The service was excellent with them saying our names for the meals instead of the name of the dish which I found more friendly. The staff were attentive with out being intrusive. The meals hot and well done

Pretty typical burger, kebab and pizza bar in England which we found a bit heavy and stodgy but staff and service was great.

First time for me family taking me out for my birthday. Unfortunately it was not a good experience for me or my wife . My wife had chicken Sunday roast the roast potatoes were like concrete blocks and the chicken was a leg on the bone that wasn't cooked through symanela comes to mind ? I elected to have hanging chicken kebab unfortunately mine must have been hanging for over a week as it was very dry and hard to chew. We have all heard the saying you should have gone to Specsavers. Well we should have gone to Mc Donald's. Never mind we still Alive say no more.

Really enjoyed my lunch here with friends. Can get very busy here even midweek so you may want to book to avoid disappointment. Loved the decor and copper. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous burger, lovely chunky chips, belly pork was perfectly cooked. Everything we had was very tasty and I would have again. On the expensive side but nice for a treat.

The place itself is bright and airy but the decor clashed, probably designed by committee. Lots of staff on which makes it extra puzzling why we were only served our main course at 15:00 having arrived promptly for our table at 13:30. Staff were slow to take orders, and seemed to wait until we'd finished our starters before cooking the main course. The food itself was ok, nothing special, but kudos for offering gluten free versions of many of the dishes. Overall 3 stars feels about right

Food was well prepared and nice. Mocktails were the best I've ever had. It's was very noisy, was a Saturday so was expected but made it difficult to talk. Service was a little slow but again expected. Our receipt was wrong but this was sorted quickly.

Lovely food and good selection of beers !

It's fine here but I don't get what all the fuss is about. The food is ok but nothing outstanding and perhaps I'm just too old but Weds night and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Since we'd gone out for a girly catch up this wasn't a bonus!!

DO NOT PARK AT THE BACK OF THE CAR PARK.....I PARKED NEAR THE FIRE ESCAPE AT THE BACK OF THE CAR PARK. AFTER LEAVING I NOTICED MY CAR (6 months old BMW 745E) was covered in cooking oil from the extraction fan. I called twice and no call back. Has since cost me 200 to Claybar and detail the car back to how it was. Shocking service

Good night very good Saturday night if you enjoy noisy nights out went for 60th meal in hindsight should have eaten upstairs in restaurant but that was our fault servers where excellent 👍

Came here for Sunday lunch for three of us. Mashed potatoes were powered potato and horrid! Also what happened to the service in the board and all the tasty roasted vegetables? The plates had lots of cabbage piled high and the beef was very very rare. Didn't think it was value for money at all however three stars as the staff were very friendly and service was great!

Quality food and relaxing atmosphere

This evening had the Plant Power pizza and fries (vegan) whilst the boyfriend had the tomato/garlic bread starter and 3 tapas for £18. All the food was amazing, really enjoyed it. And the staff were very friendly from start to finish, with a special mention to Neve who looked after us extremely well the whole way through our experience.

Really annoyed at this experience here . Food came and was like warm at a push . My wife persisted with her burger but mine had to go back . She had finished hers and I was still waiting for mine . Anyway they couldn’t have resolved it any better . Knocked money off for the drink and just charged for the food . Young lad who dealt with it was very nice too .

Food great, service not so great. Menu's not offered, had to get them from service table ourselves 20 minutes after seating. Had to call waitress to order food. Ordered extra drinks and after 10 mins had to ask waitress what had happened to them. It was busy but seeing staff behind the bar chatting whilst waiting for menu's disappointing.

Lovely food, generally attentive staff, and you cannot fault any of the cocktails - something for everyone as they are deliciously sweet but still able to taste the alcohol. The hanging kebabs deserve a special mention!

Brilliant place. Great food with the service to match. The young waitress with floral mask was extremely good when dealing with my questions re what contained gluten-even from the drinks menu which rarely happens. The gluten free garlic bread and pizza was amazing ... tasted like regular pizza.

The food was nothing special for there prices. From taste, presentations, quality and value. Had alot better food from a take away. A star for surroundings and a star for friendliness of staff but won't be going back in a rush.

Absolutely the best Sunday dinner eating out experience, in a long time! Food was delicious, roast beef cooked to perfection, service was excellent. Ben, was so helpful with my enquiries regarding catering for my daughter, who is vegan and checked with the chef's, before phoning me back personally. I had the 'French' burger stack! Wow just wow. Amazing food, we did have to wait 90mins for it but it's Saturday night and when I phoned up it was rammed and now we know why! I came here spur of the moment with my mam last week. I'd heard of this place and never heard a bad thing. I already knew it was a fancy place to dine and drink... as this was a spur of the moment choice for a lunch date, we weren't overly dressed for the occasion but surprisingly we're treat the same as everyone else. The first young man who greeted us and took us upstairs for a table was adorable, infact, all the staff male and female were very aesthetically pleasing and lovely! We were the 1st party to sit upstairs but it didn't seem too much trouble for the man seating us, even though we hadn't booked. He turned on lights and set the bar up, made it all lovely...and it really is beautiful upstairs! Left us with menu's and took our drink order swiftly. We were soon followed by a few more parties so the place wasn't as bare. I was impressed with the menu, although couldn't help but to howl at one of the choices name! So, mam had a lemonade and I had a pink gin and lemonade. He double checked it was lemonade I asked for not tonic, always a bonus when waiters do this!! Wasn't long before our food arrived and wow, it looked great! Served uniquely and just had that edge that made it look pretty cool. Mam had the lemon and garlic hanging kebab, chips and salad. It came with the skewer of meat literally hanging on a metal skewer over the chips. I had the chicken tikka version. You also had a choice of garlic butter or sweet chilli sauce too. And it came with other dips that were complimenting also. The price is what I would have expected for a place like that and both the food and service was spot on. All in all I couldn't spot a fault. They even had baby changing which is a bonus when you have a little one in tow which we did. And I liked the rolled up individual flannels in the bathrooms to dry your hands on. I will definitely be returning with my partner soon! It's a new favourite. (This was the Fenay Bridge establishment) Very pleased. A*

We had a small event in the courtyard the setting was beautiful and the food was outstanding. Nothing at all was too much for the staff. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

Fantastic setting, atmosphere a d service When we arrived the weather looked grim. We asked for an indoor table but advised they had all been reserved so we braved a roadside table A pesky wasp 🐝 kept bothering us - think he must’ve been thirsty 😅. Thankfully someone on the next table had a sweeter smelling drink After an hour the manager came over to say a reservation had been cancelled and offered us an indoor table- we declined as the sun had come out , the clouds had scarpered leaving a blue sky Lovely Saturday evening

I attended a friend's baby shower here yesterday afternoon in the stunning Champagne Bar and it was fabulous from start to finish. The young man on the bar was just brilliant, so friendly, super efficient, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. The other young man was also great taking all the food orders for everyone, and there where a lot of us, and he was really fantastic and really efficient too. The drinks were devine, the food was absolutely gorgeous and the venue was amazing. The whole place was buzzing and it was extremely busy but the staff manged to cope. It was super special in the Champagne Bar and we all had an amazing, special day thanks to the two brilliant young men who looked after us all, the amazing chefs, the gorgeous food, lovely drinks and fabulous atmosphere! Massive thanks to Harveys for a truly wonderful day!

Absolutely beautiful food, had the burger, girlfriend had tapas.. can't think of one bad thing. Front of house staff were all very polite and all had a smile on their face, would definelty recommend to friends and family, and without a doubt, will be visiting again.

We where a party of four, 3 chose the tapas meal option and 1 chicken salad, we all thought the food was excellent and great value, also we enjoyed our servers who where very pleasant and helpful, we'll all revisit asap.

Always a lovely visit. Seating inside and out are always fresh and clean and it's a nice place for friends to meet.

Atmosphere was great, staff were very polite and the flavour of the food fantastic. But the beef was over cooked (the menu states rare, this was past well done) which made it very tough. My partner and I also had to wait over an hour for our food, I don't mind a bit of a wait for fresh food but an hour was pushing my limits

Only visited for drinks, the cocktails were fantastic! Not the biggest selection of ales on tap but they have something for every taste! Didn't get to try the food but it looked and smelt amazing, will definitely be revisiting to give it a try!
