Harry's Bar in Banbridge

Food was top notch, service was excellent.

Regularly drive an hour to Harry's for the food is that good,steak sandwich cannot be beat ,great spot friendly staff wouldn't drive past it

Service is always excellent, the food is delicious, generous portions, excellent value for money. Very clean, warm, cosy atmosphere.

Love this place. The food is always excellent. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The owner manager is always keen to make your visit enjoyable and fun. I'd suggest booking early as it can be quite busy, even to get a seat in the front bar at peak times.

Not a bad pub, only had a pint, atmosphere not bad a couple of drunks, but I suppose that's to be expected on a Friday night clean and good service

Low ceilings but high jinks. Fun evening with plenty of "bustle", on a day when other places where quiet and dull. Good place to catch up with old friends.

We flew in from America to spend time before Christmas with family and friends, this was our Friday night Christmas Meal time with them. Great atmosphere and festive activities when we arrived. We had a good table in their restaurant right in the heart of all the fun. Our food was fantastic, we had a mix of Turkey and Ham dinners, Roast Beef Dinner, Fish & Chips and Burgers, all was really good. Definitely a place for a fun night out over Christmas.

Very first visit to the bar at mid week, following various recommendations, and it did not disappoint. Great food and highly recommend the open steak sandwich with crispy onions served on garlic ciabatta, with a side of choice. Music was great selection and not too loud thankfully. The sports TV news channel was on big screens but no sound and we're not sports followers anyway, but it didn't interfere with our evening, so don't let that put you off. Looking forward to our next visit.

Was at Harry's Bar for the 1st this evening with a few work colleagues! Food was absolutely fantastic! Had the steak sandwich which was cooked exactly how I like it, really well done and cut like a ribbon! Oh and the pepper sauce was to die for! Will def b back 🙂

Ideal atmosphere for sitting down, enjoying a well cooked meal, a few drinks and some chilling. Quality of the food and portion sizes are spot on. Price is comparable with similar places around the town. I only wish is that they would add fillet steak to their menu.

Visited Harry's for the very first time on Saturdsy 17th after been recommended with two good friends for my birthday. I have to say I was very impressed given how busy it was for lunch. Firstly table was set up with menus when we arrived which meant no delays, we were given time to decide what we wanted to eat, the girl came took our drinks order and returned to take food. Very warm and helpful. The three of us ordered the same thing which was strange but for the reason it's rare to find the thing we ordered on any menu as most places opt for glorified fast food. We ordered a Wagu burger and side. It was very tasty indeed and on the truffle fries loved the fact it seemed to be proper homemade mayo as opposed to ready made/store bought. The burger itself wasn't half a foot high full of all sorts just simple patty and smoked cheese. Overall I can highly recommend based on the standard of service and both the food I and my friends enjoyed and that I saw coming from kitchen, price also very reasonable. Look forward to my next visit.

Great food, good staff, top place

I was working at the front of the restaurant and the food smelt great. I went on a visit with my family on the weekend of. The food tasted better than it smelled when I was working and the dessert menu was awesome. I'll not say too much about the cheese cake.the Staff were welcoming. 💙

Simple, inexpensive meals and good customer service

What a place to be, we came over from Newcastle with friends from Banbridge and we not only did we come over in November but but for new year, Kevin and all the staff are amazing let alone the Asbury gents on new year eve & day, we can't wait to come back soon 😉🥳🥳🥳👍

I haven't been here in a few years but the food was pretty grim last time I was there. We had a reservation for NYE made in advance, but they gave our table away.

Absolutely brilliant I had the gorm club burger wot an amazing meal flip this has just restored my faith in y club again just amazing fantastic food look fellow members get some food here it's totally 100 % I've played the length & breadth of ireland & eaten in most ....and this is the best and I don't tell lies this is the real deal !!!!

Can't recall ever having a bad meal here, and I've had quite a few. Pretty much my go to place in having a meal in Banbridge.

Small restaurant that doesn't look like much at first glance. However, the food is good and the atmosphere is crazy on rugby match days!

Beautiful food (especially the turkey and ham Sunday dinner!) Staff are welcoming and attentive... great service and pleasant chilled atmosphere. My family and I go here most Sundays and look forward to it. Its a great wee place for family time and good food it's hard to beat. Can't fault anything.

#DISAPPOINTED. Went here for a meal so disappointed, ordered hot chicken wings, which were nice and hot. my husband ordered fish cakes, 2 arrived with 1 small bit of fish in each... main course, I ordered breaded chicken goujons with chips garlic dip £15, I received 4 medium sized deep fried goujons... they were fried too much that the breadcrumb outside had hardened and was hard to eat... I left half.. chips were nice ... I ordered gravy to help softn them... did not work... husband had breaded fish £15.. he's was that hard that the fish itself was hard as the moisture had been sucked out of it due to the length of deep frying it... he had nothing to eat... girl came over and took our plates away and asked for every ok .. we explained what happened.... no apology, she just took them away, brought our bill - no deductions for the bad meal or even a free drink... just very disappointed given that we liked this place... £48 #bettercustomerservice

Excellent service and the food was fantastic.

Lovely staff. Very attentive to me and my children. Veggie burger was good (apart from the slightly dried out bun top from being under the heaters). Girls seemed happy with their dinners. Mixed vegetables where nice and homely. Expensive overall when you included the sides, but I guess a lot of things seem expensive at the moment.

Harry's bar was a lovely place to eat in. The place has a nice lay out and the staff are very welcoming. The food was absolutely lovely. I enjoyed my veggie broth soup, the beef ragu was very nice and the sticky toffee pudding was also very tasty. Was reasonable priced aswel.
