Without doubt this is the best restaurant we have been to in Exeter. All the staff are friendly and professional from the moment you enter Harry’s until you leave. However, the stars of the show are the amazing cocktails and the delicious food. Absolutely exceptional!

Harry's never disappoints. We really enjoyed our dinner here, ambiance is great, seating is nice, staff is lovely. Wine and food were both good. We really enjoyed the sourdough bread and calamari as a starter! Prices aren't cheap but definitely appropriate for the quality. Also big plus for the quality, we loved seeing that things were locally sourced from Darts Farm. Can't wait to go back for another occasion.

Having owned the iconic premises now Harry's Restaurant this was for me a nostalgic occasion. Trust to tell, it would be difficult to find even a smidgen of criticism for Harrys. It is utterly brilliant. The staff are well trained, young, and enthusiastic, but even they are surpassed by the sheer brilliance of the kitchen. My scallops were glorious, fat and rich and followed by Cod so perfectly cooked and presented that Michelin should be falling over themselves to give this place a very high star rating. Needless to say the wines live up to the high standard to the whole presentation. Of the very many restaurants I have dined in over recent itimes this rates as the very best. This is an iconic restaurant for a reason, it’s family run and they understand the value of customer experience. One of my regrets is that I don’t eat here more often ( it’s always full) and in future I aim to rectify that. A delightful evening and we were looked after by Chloe who was charm personified. Everything about our meal at Harry's restaurant was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive in an unobtrusive manner. The food was beyond wonderful. Top quality, perfectly and deliciously cooked. We had French onion soup to start, pork belly and tagliata, we enjoyed every bite of our meal. Creme brulee and affogato rounded off a wonderful and amazing meal.

Exceptional. I had lunch at Harry’s today. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We were taken care of by Amy, who tells me she got through to round four of the X Factor tv show and is on first name terms with Danny Minogue. All in all, an entertaining lunch.

This was our second visit to Harry's. The first was late and on spec so this time we booked: a good move! As before though this restaurant excelled in all departments. The atmosphere on each visit was just right - busy enough to be cosy and lively but not so loud as to drown across-the-table conversation. The service was perfect - friendly, knowledgable and spaced nicely to allow time to savour and digest each course. The menu is just right - long enough to provide a good choice but not so long as to make one question what's actually occurring in the kitchen! The food itself was excellent for both of us - beautifully cooked and presented. Overall an excellent experience and a visit is now a must for each time we visit Exeter.

Whilst at Exeter, Harry's was one of my favourite restaurants, reserved for special occasions with family and friends. When I came back for my Master's graduation in December I knew that Harry's was the only place I wanted to go to celebrate with my family and boyfriend. The food, as always, was 10/10 spectacular. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was fittingly festive and celebratory. It was the perfect graduation meal. I had the pate to start, followed by the lasagna and wow. It was honestly all delicious and I'm so sad that Harry's isn't closer to me now that I don't live in Exeter anymore!

I love Harry's. The food, service and atmosphere are always amazing. I had a brilliant time last night. I had arancini for starters snd it tasted so good with the truffle Mayo. I had a ribeye with brandy and peppercorn sauce, which just melted in my mouth. The creme brulee was a perfect way to end my evening. I would definitely recommend going to Harry's.

We had the most amazing food we have had out in a very long time. The Calamari melts in your mouth, the Pate was so flavoursome and the Arancini were gorgeous. Our mains, my Tuna steak was beautiful, the steak sensational and the beef tagliata came with the most amazing dressed salad. Feeling full we only managed to share a sticky toffee pudding, which didn't disappoint. We will definitely return.

Staff were lovely :) Calamari was ok, a little bit oily. Crab linguine was bland and really dry, it was hard to swallow so my partner had it. Sabatini's is the better choice for a crab linguine!! Steak was delish! Creme brulee and choc torte was perfect 🤩

Really lovely meal. Had carpaccio to start which was light and lovely. Took the risk (rarely good) and ordered a steak, went for a ribeye which was nicely cooked with nice simple side of chips/tomato. Wine was good and service lovely. I wish Tripadvisor would change the scoring to out of 10 or 100 as 4 stars might seem like a negative, it’s not, great meal…will be back…probably next week.

We loved everything about Harry’s. We were late for our reservation (travel delay) but the restaurant sat us in wonderful corner booth. Very attentive service, wonderful steaks, drinks, dessert. The atmosphere — lighting, comfort, ability to carry on a conversation — was top notch. And we could see many happy diners, engaged in lively conversations around us. We will happily return to Harry’s the next time we are in Exeter.

An amazing place just away from city centre. I booked here for dinner with a colleague and was incredibly impressed - the service, the ambiance, but most importantly the delicious food. We shared two starters - the mackerel pate and the burrata - both gorgeous. For mains we had the Crab Linguine and the Pork Belly special - again such delicious flavours. The services was very friendly and we enjoyed the visit immensely. My only feedback was a comment that was made on my choice of non-alcoholic beer. It was well intentioned, but with the service that good, I didn’t expect it and don’t think people should be questioned for not drinking alcohol - it is never anyone else’s business however jovial. But I only mention as a learning point as was blown away by everything else. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this experience was. Literally every single thing was perfection. Firstly, the team were all super friendly, warm and welcoming and made us feel special. The ambiance was just right, music was a superb blend of well known classics starting from the 1960’s and making their way into the 70’s as it moved along the evening. It’s a restaurant you say? What about the food? Sometimes it’s good to leave the best things until last. The food was OUTSTANDING! A starter (special) of belly pork slices and freshly made slaw was superb, the pork was so well cooked; the tastes sublime. The calamari also deserves its own shout out; it was gently cooked and not rubbery or tough like it can be. Amazing. Mains and we both had the ribeye steak. A generous portion, not bogged down with tons of fat like I’ve had before. It was cooked perfectly to the medium rare that we’d requested. Both of the courses washed down with a couple of signature cocktails. Sadly, we were too full for dessert, but the table next to us had the most amazing looking Eton mess. I wish I lived closer to Exeter as I’d want to eat here all the time. Just simply perfect.
