The food is great. The young lady behind the counter was very patient and helpful.

Absolutely unbelievable the prices for a small muffin sandwich, £4.25 incredible. I’ve used Harry Gows most days for lunch , sandwich,cake,cold drink But based on their prices I’d now spend a tenner a day for lunch. Average 6days results £60 per week average 50 weeks per year staggering £3000 per year on food from Harry Gows. Now they’re is two of us that’s £6000 pounds nett profit from my business. Back to packed lunches. The worlds gone mad.👎🙈🤷‍♂️😤

Great place to stop before heading home and food was great.

Stopped on my way to John O Groats. Quite nice tbh. I got my food and walked down to the water below.

Soooo good best baked goods I have ever tasted and I eat a lot of baked goods. The filled rolls were amazing, sausage rolls flaky and delicious, donuts genius!

We love this bakers! It’s our first stop on route to the Ullapool ferry. We have now sampled most of the savoury and sweet items on sale, it’s all so good. Even made a three hour round trip to pick up a chocolate birthday cake! Perfect

As usual, this great location is let down by the lack of choice, shelves empty (this was 10:30). Can't comment on service as only 2 servers were available, everyone else was standing chatting. Its OK if you want a sausage roll or pie, but I don't care for them.

The sausage rolls are flaky deliciousness but it was the Scotch Broth that won my heart!!! Tuesday is Scotch Broth day so I struck it lucky! Highly recommend!

When on holiday this is a place to stop lovely food, well made and the birthday cake slices are well worth the calories definitely try their rolls never been disappointed.

Never disappointed at Harry Gow! I have been to this one a few times and the food is always so good! There is so many choices and everything is so tasty!

AS USUAL THE HGV TRUCK PARKING IS FULL OF CARS SO CANT GET TRUCK PARKED , SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE FXXKING IDIOTS

Stopped here to break our journey after a couple of hours travelling and we were only half way to our destination, so glad to stretch our legs. The bakery had a steady turnover of customers, and our coffees and cakes were decent enough and reasonably priced. Staff a little brusque though. A fair few parking spaces, clean loos too.

This review is to commend excellent service and proper quality food. Friendly lassie took our order asked us how WE'd like our ham rolls. End result was the best bought soup and a roll lunch we've had for a long time. Haven't tasted bought soup like that for 30 years! Plenty bacon, sweet carrots, thick lentil and hot. Tasty baked roll, lovely quality fresh ham, fresh salad, onion/no onion, butter/no butter. Appreciated her care. Well done Harry Gow's, we will always look forward to popping by now, worth looping round the bridge when heading south for that's for sure.

We stopped for a snack lunch. Love ❤️ a Harry Gow coronation chicken roll🥪 and soup 🥣, not to mention a dream ring🍩. Staff 😄always friendly, efficient and helpful👍👍. We also regularly use Elgin and Dingwall. It is a requirement of visiting our family in Aberdeenshire and East Lothian that we take HG🍞🫓🍕 goodies. We are moving 🚛 to Inverurie to live. I am told we will be making trips 🚗 to HG in Keith. When will you have a presence in Inverurie 🤔

The food was very good, but I feel £2-88 for a small meat and potato pie is extortionate.

Late in the day visit but still had some stock. A couple of marzipan apples did us fine.

I’ve stayed all over Scotland and tried most top name bakers and I must say in regards to there fresh rolls, finest quality butcher bacon, sausage and free range eggs this place blows the rest out the water there is a reason they keep winning baker of the year you just can’t beat a Harry gows

Who doesn't love Harry Gow. No matter the location as long as the product is there it will always be my favourite baker in the world. Other than French bakers Harry Gow is the only place for pies, cakes, sandwiches, paninis and breakfast rolls. 😋 lorne and egg 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 I'd give 10 stars if I could

The cakes here have to be one of the best in Britain had a vanilla slice and some of their delicious ice cream.

Just stopped by Harry Gow bakery North Kessock for a quick lunch stop on route to the west coast. Was very pleased with the service - the lady serving couldn't have been more helpful! The lunch was very enjoyable too! Thank you for a good experience.

What a great find this place was on our way to the black isle, it has mouth watering everything from wraps to rolls to pies to cakes. Gourmet heaven really, well worth a wee visit.

Never tried this place, food was delicious. Service very good too. Only gripe we had was that we were parked next to a bin, which for reasons unknown was covered in dog poo. Not great when you're eating, and the rest of the car park was full.

Lovely cakes and bread for sandwiches was very nice. Filling in chicken morning sandwich needed more filling. Would have been 5 stars if properly filled.

Stopped here a few times as it is on the way to our main destination further north. There are clean public toilets to use, a free car park, a cracking view and somewhere to walk the dog! Loads of bins too! The Harry Gow cafe is really nice but the opening times are really limited. Great place for a stop though

OMG what a great bakery. Food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Staff are awesome, so friendly.

We always make sure to pop in to Harry Gows on our way to the Highlands . We never leave disappointed, beautiful pies with flaky pastry and delicious fillings served piping hot always go down well after a long drive up from Edinburgh and our favourite Dream Rings are always a treat, the Dream Rings are just scrumptious and very moreish . I just wish there was a Harry Gows in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Greeted with a smile and quickly served. Tasty tea and coffee, very pleased they listened to the request for 'only small amount of milk in both. The food was well priced and marzipan 'apples' yummy. A good quick stop-over

We visited on our way North. Social distancing was handled professionally and efficiently. We had two bacon rolls and two coffees for just over £7 which was very good value for money. The rolls were exceptional. Generous helping of well-cooked, slightly salty bacon in a fresh tasty roll. Best bacon roll I've had in years. Coffee was also very good. I had a Cappuccino and the coffee had an enjoyable slightly bitter taste. All in all a very positive experience to break our journey.

Superb bakery we had hot rolls for breakfast which were made fresh a salad roll for lunch and then a few cakes for later which we really eñjoyed wish we were passing again!

The great shame of Harry Gow's are their over pricing for products which are reasonable but not outstanding. Live in hope that they will improve but not holding my breath.

Bought some curry pies, mince pies, mince 'n'tattie pies and steak pies. All were absolutely amazing. Best I have ever tasted. Go for some grub if you can.

Moved to Glasgow over a year ago,and one shop I miss the most is Harry gow I was a regular customer,and always popped in to the n.kessock shop , everything on display was amazing, good quality food and always pleasant staff very helpful.

I visited nk shop today as my local one on grant st is being refurbished. Got me one of those amazing chocolate snow balls. Was gutted as its usually awsum but unfortunately on this occasion i was let down. It was as stale as stale can be. Solid crunchy sponge. Was like it was made on Monday and today its Thursday. Same as the rolls i bought. Crunchy and stale. Won't be in a rush to drive out that way again. 2 visits 2 times stale items. Maybe its just Thursdays are a bad day ? Idk. You dropped the ball with this shops standards.

Just called into Harry Gow on the A9 at North Kessock, staff have no customer service skills whatsoever! I live locally and will not bother calling in again

Wow, wow and wow! Chicken curry pie is like my dads fruity curry with the nicest pastry I’ve ever had. Tried the mince and tattie one, which was equally awesome with a lovely peppery spice like haggis. Mac cheese was magic as well. First time trying and will now be the last stop before Granny & Papas ❤️

Ci piace fermarci sulla strada di ritorno x le Orcadi. Tutto è sempre ottimo. I tortini caldi sono uno spettacolo. Buonissimo quello di pollo e curry. I dolci è un problema, è difficile decidersi, hanno un'ampia scelta in vetrina. Inoltre si possono acquistare panini freddi, pane, biscotti, torte e molto altro, tea o caffè, zuppe calde. Una delizia. Super consigliato.

Maravillosa colección de pasteles y panes, pero el único artículo sin gluten en todo el lugar fue un merengue, no lo que realmente tenía en mente para el almuerzo. Tenía un pasajero discapacitado a quien le hubiera gustado entrar para elegir su almuerzo, pero no había estacionamientos para los titulares de insignias, por lo que no pudo llegar allí. No fue un éxito rotundo como almuerzo en el hoyo, deténgase para nosotros, pero es un servicio muy agradable de una dama que se disculpa.

The cakes and rolls are delicious all made to a very high standard! I highly recommend the vanilla and raspberry slice and the strawberry tarts. Delicious! I came in last weekend with my son and husband. My son is autistic and not very verbal and the young lady that served us was great and very patient with him, letting him pick the colour of his biscuit and letting him help pay. She even signed “thank you” to him at the till - giving it a really special touch as that is definitely not service you get elsewhere! She told us she was training to be a teacher at university. The other staff were also very pleasant, ensuring we were being served and all our needs were met. You could see that all the staff worked well together and they all got along well. Thank you Harry Gow!

Llamado aquí en nuestro camino a nuestro destino de vacaciones cerca de Alness. La comida para llevar que ofrecían era excelente con pan recién horneado. Fácil de llegar, ya que en la A 9 va hacia el norte, es más difícil si viaja hacia el sur.

Such a pity that there is no option to sit in and enjoy the excellent products on offer. Seems a strange omission as there could be space for a few tables. Planning regulations??

I found a small grey hair on the cake slice I bought which I was about to put in my mouth but seen. Not very nice to have hair on your food and which I nearly put in my mouth.

Tasty hot mince and potato pie followed by two scrummy strawberry tarts (as good as those found in French patisseries). Yet to scoff the Danish pastries but sure they won't disappoint. Lots to choose from!

Very easy to park and only ever had to wait a few minutes to be served. The baking is first class, rolls, bread, ready filled rolls and cake's.
