Great place, very friendly staff, good food, we visit every time we are here on holiday. Always made to feel very welcome and even let you bring your dog inside.

Signs saying dogs welcome so we went in with our very well behaved dog. There were people already seated. My wife stood at the counter waiting to be served and the rest of us sat down. Our dog was wagging his tail and it touched a woman who was seated opposite and she immediately complained. Meanwhile, though there was no one else waiting to be served, my wife was still being ignored by the woman behind the counter. 2 minutes she stood there to be ignored. We left and went elsewhere. During our stay in the village we mentioned what had happened to another local person who came over to make a fuss of our dog and we were told, in their words not ours, 'they don't like the English in there'. I can't personally say that this is the reason we were made feel unwelcome but whatever thr reason was, the place doesnt deserve to survive with their attitude.

Brilliant eggs benedict and fabulous coffee. I definitely recommend a visit.

Stopped for lunch and coffee and had a fantastic experience as we always do here. The place was busy when we arrived but we were greeted and served very quickly despite it being full. Mam and I ordered the meatballs, margherita pizza and a side of fries. The pizza was easily the best I’ve ever had, no grease at all, fresh dough, lovely homemade sauce and really tasty. Mam thoroughly enjoyed her meatballs with fried potatoes and said it was all full of flavour. The coffees were brilliant as well and the whole place was clean and inviting with very friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

Brilliant from start to finish. Excellent welcome from the young lady. Shown to a clean table with menus ready for us. Food was very good. Served quickly and it looked and tasted delicious. Coffee was lovely. All waiters were very friendly and went out of their way to offer help. Reasonably priced

We went in for breakfast yesterday and 15 minutes after being grunted at and gestured to sit ‘wherever’ we were walking back out.Staff just didn’t seem bothered at all and we felt like an inconvenience being there. Very quiet morning, it wasn’t as if they were busy. There was a young lad who cleaned one table and the lady behind the counter seemed to be making herself busy doing anything except serving or even acknowledging customers. After a good 10 minutes of trying to gain eye contact with them so we could make our order we decided to leave. This also did not phase the lady behind the bar in the slightest. We moved on down the road to Caffi Awthwy where we were greeted with a warm welcome and served some delicious food, even though they were extremely busy. Avoid

Great little place with cracking food, excellent cocktails and fantastic service. Really love this place and could not recommend more. This is how a local business should be run.

Service was absolutely exceptional. Very friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere. Wish we had found this earlier into our holiday as we would have been in every day! Called in on spec one Friday teatime, only 1 other customer there (initially thought he was the owner / manager). They could accommodate us no problem. We chose a pizza each and 2 AF beers. The vegan pizza was not great, far too much cheese, only 1 of the two toppings requested (mushrooms, no onions) and the base didn’t seem fully cooked. The Piri Piri Chicken pizza had far too much garlic, overpowered the other flavours. The AF beer was spot on, well chilled and refreshing. There was food debris on the floor underneath our table which is unacceptable, especially as the restaurant was so quiet. The staff although polite seemed disinterested. Disappointing.

Friendly staff, lovely clean environment with fab food and a great selection at the bar. Some nice vegan options on the menu which is always a good sign.

I was there in Aug after a funeral, this was my first visit to Harri's & best described as a very welcoming place, with a warm welcome - nice decor and very friendly staff. Our tea had been laid out for self service and I have to be honest it exceeded my expectations - though not a vegan their vegan pizza was absolutely delicious! We had an excellent tea with a fine selection of sandwiches, salad, chips etc. etc. The chocolate gateaux was to die for!! It would have been very difficult for anyone to have found a fault with the food provided. I recommended Harri's to a friend and today was the second time he and a colleague called in there and were very happy. Good luck and all the best for the future.

Amazing food and service and the loveliest staff! The chef and waiting staff are so kind and hugely hard-working in order to provide the best service possible. We went several times during our time in Ynys Môn. Great vegan options, LOVED the pizzas and soup. A business worth supporting, will be returning when we’re next back up north. Diolch!!

We visited the restaurant a few times whilst on holiday in Angelsey and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend the salt & pepper squid or the pizzas to anyone unsure of what to order! The restaurant had a lovely interior design with a lively atmosphere, all accompanied by fast and friendly service :)

This dish was for sharing beautifully made and waitress very helpful giving details about the dish and giving us extra bread. Will return very soon.

We ended up here by accident on a rainy day on holiday because it happened to have a table but it was a happy accident because the pizzas, skewers, soup and portugese sardine pate we ordered were all delicious. The staff were friendly and it was very well priced - due to the large portions our eldest 2 children were full on one large pizza which would never happen in Pizza Express!

We visited several times during our week on Anglesey and Harri's is definitely a place worth going back to.Friendly welcome, lovely atmosphere, fab food and lovely service. The pizzas were fantastic, as were the Squid and the Skewers. An excellent choice of wines and beer were on offer and kids and adults will love the milkshakes.The homemade soup was delicious, as were the pizzas, did I mention those already? Vegan options included Pizza, lentil burger, homemade soup and milkshakes. I couldn't manage a dessert due to very generous portions.We loved this place and will definitely return next time we are on Anglesey. Highly recommended.

I'm portuguese and I lived there for 6 years. Now that you know this, please believe me when I tell you that the only Portuguese thing in that restaurant are the skewers (espetadas). The food quality is not good at all. I don't recommend you coming to this place. Do not expect Portuguese food. All the food that my family and I ate, lacked salt. Its just depressing.

Good fresh food. Good helpings. Excellent service. We had three courses and coffee and we were really full. Many restaurants leave you feeling like a meal afterwards. This is not the case here.

Their milkshakes have been a special treat during lockdown - they are absolutely fantastic. Can also recommend the sweet potato fries. The staff are really kind and friendly too.

We were really impressed with this cafe. The food was excellent; particularly the vegan pizza which is the nicest I’ve had so far. The staff were all very polite and helpful and prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend it!

Fab food - starters were especially delicious, espcially buffalo chicken. Pizzas on other tables looked delicious. Tables well spaced out and great service. Will definitely be back next time in area to try more of the menu. Diolch yn fawr

We organised a delivery for a Birthday in lockdown. The service was amazing and really convenient! The food was fresh and super tasty. Diolch Harri's. Will definitely be ordering again soon.

There is so much to say about the past few home delivery we've had during covid-19, the food has never faulted each bite was absolutely gorgeous , the service has been outstanding and very professional.

Very generous meals of excellent quality, even the humble cheese sandwich is presented with a salad and chutney, soups are very good, and if you love nachos you should come here. Will definitely return.

We visited Harri's restaurant for lunch having just taken our dog for a nice walk around Menai Bridge.There was a lovely welcome from the staff. They had a good choice of food, drinks.... and especially gins.Their food was spectacular; it was so tasty, fresh with great imagination.We will definitely be back - thank you to all.

Went for meal at night I think after they had just reopened after a flood, chef went out of his way make our meals to our requirements

We searched Trip Advisor to get a lovely breakfast in Menai before we geaded off for home. We found Harri's and it didnt disappoint. A gorgeous breakfast indeed. We requested bacon to be well done and it came to perfection. Good quality sausages too and also done to perfection. My only criticism is you only got one toast and would have expected two but that is being picky as everything else was perfect. Top brekky.

Visited on a quiet night between Christmas and New year. Scallops, which needed a touch more cooking, and squid as a starter, harissa lamb and hanging steak kebab both of which were very good, really tender and tasty. Some pleasant wine too. Reasonably priced. A young team, creating some nice dishes with a Portuguese influence. Decor and fitout was a bit sparse but a comfortable enough venue. Would recommend.

First time visit here even though been passed many times and so pleased we did. The breakfast was amazing, great ingredients and superbly cooked. Staff were fantastic and had a good atmosphere. They also allow dogs.

This is without doubt one of the best small restaurants in north Wales.Harri's kitchen is a wonderful restaurant situated on Menai Bridge High street. The food was bursting with flavours, goodness and spices. Everything was obviously cooked fresh and with much care. The serving team are really friendly and helpful. The chef is a cool guy too!We had a sharing platter to start, followed by the most amazing pan fried sea bass (see photo). They had a good choice of gins, especially local Welsh gins. They also do a great selection of snacks, and their milkshakes are to die-for.Thank you! we'll be back again soon.

Stopped here for a late lunch and the baked Camembert was lovely. Friendly guy who explained the Portuguese influence on the menu.

This is relatively newly opened cafe/restaurant which puports to be Portuguese although there were no Portuguese dishes on the main menu. Nevertheless it was a good menu with many attractive main dishes, soup and sandwiches. The dishes we had were enjoyable. Two of us had smoked salmon sandwiches which was very nice, good bread and lovely salmon. One of us had leek and potato soup, followed by a tuna sandwich both of which were good, finishing with a pastel de nata (the classical Portuguese custard tart) which was very good. The restaurant was busy which indicates that it is popular. The staff were helpful and pleasant, service was good. Reasonably priced food and drink. We have rated this restaurant as very good - good to very good would be more appropriate. We shall definitely go again to try out the other dishes and are more than happy to recommend it to others.

We were looking for an evening meal. We couldn't be bothered with all of the generic pub grub and takeaways on the othersode of the bridge and happens to stumble across Harri's . Online it stated that it closed during the evening but we saw a sign for an evening menu so gave it a go.

After finding no parking in Beaumaris on a busy bank holiday weekend, came back and stopped in Menai Bridge. Found this lovely cafe .Had a delicious chocolate cake and strawberry milkshake. Would definitely recommend this establishment and the surrounding area.

Really friendly atmosphere and great food with attentive staff.

We were looking for somewhere to have an early dinner. As we were travelling with our dog, we needed somewhere dog friendly. Our dog was treated to a bowl of water and treats on entering. The menu was quite small but there was enough choice and we chose the lamb and the fish which were very tasty. Another customer was having a burger which looked good too. We ordered a cheese platter to share and there was plenty for the three of us. We had a couple of glasses of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and an Elderflower and soda soft drink which was very nice. The bar was also serving frozen cocktails and there are over 60 types of gin to choose from. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable.

What a great little find on our short stop at Menai Bridge! Nicely modernized interior (the photos on this site are not up to date), very clean and good service, nice menu, not too much to choose from but something for everyone.

Looking round Menai Bridge for a nice place to eat my friend Sally and I came across Harry’s where I caught sight of other friends happily drinking gin in the window. So, we joined them and one look at their lovely meal and the reasonably priced Menu had us ordering two delicious dishes. I had tender lamb with great harissa side and sweet potato chips and Sally had a lovely big plate of sea bass in a light curry veg broth - I was so intent on mine I can’t remember exactly what she had!! Friendly staff and a light airy room made it altogether a pleasant dining experience. Not to mention good wine also reasonably priced. I am amazed the place wasn’t packed, I hope it will be over the summer hols.

We stopped for lunch at the start of holiday and moved it so much we went back again, which is saying alot as there are many nice places on anglesey, but the passion of the owner and the care of the staff makes it, and the food being really tasty also helps haha. we will be back.

Decided to give this place a go lunchtime today. Walked in with plenty of empty tables, but every single one of them full of dishes need clearing. Staff stood behind the counter, none of which greeted us in. We picked the table by the window, and sat for over 15min with dirty plates infront of us. My grandmother went to the counter to ask for menus, and was handed by a rude waitress, who again, didn’t say a word, as if we were a nuisance. Menu content was laughable, virtually nothing on it.

Four of us walked into this cafe at 11.55. We sat by a table by the window which hadn’t been cleared after the previous customers. At 12.20, the table still hadn’t been cleared and no menus offered. We asked, and the waitresses snapped that she would bring them over..........still the table not cleared. At 12.25, we asked if the table could be cleared and if we could order, but the waitress continued to laugh and Koke with customers at the next table, who had already been served. At 12.30, we decided to leave and had lunch at a lovely cafe a few doors down. We had lovely food and efficient service there. I hasten to add that we won’t be returning. A let down for Menai Bridge who is known for their food establishments.

Four of us had a leisurely 3 course dinner chosen from the short but varied menu. They are open during the day but also for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays and well worth a try. Staff were friendly and attentive. Portions were generous and variations to the dishes willingly accommodated. We lingered over coffees but were not in any sense rushed out. Prices are very reasonable. This is a small, welcoming restaurant that deserves to do well.

Chance call, but well worth the visit. Stopped fro mid afternoon snack after Rib ride down the road.

I was pleasantly surprised by the large size of the portions we received, I had a green lentil & mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, it was delicious, I’m not a vegetarian but I really enjoyed the meal, they also gave a very large selection of gins on the drinks menu!

Visited for coffee and cake with the family and our dog. Very welcoming and friendly Chatty staff and lots of locals were popping in too which is always a good sign.

Had breakfast there yesterday. My hubby had eggs benedict and it was ok . I had a small breakfast and I swear the bacon and sausage had been in the microwave,they had no colour and were awful.

You'd never have know that Harri's were serving a limited menu due to food damage. This gorgeous little Portuguese restaurant has a very friendly chef and the baked Camembert and nachos were to die for - absolutely delicious! I'd also recommend the custard tarts if you have any room left!

Called in for a Saturday morning breakfast and was pretty impressed. Nice ambience about the place, background music could have been a little louder but not really an issue. Service was friendly and attentive.

Went there for lunch and was very satisfied. It was Very very clean. Good service and great food. What more could you want?

A drizzly Tuesday in January needed brightening up and a coffee and Pastis de Nata in Harri’s did just that. Great tasting coffee in a huge cup with a super Portuguese treat to go with it. Well worth a visit.

My girlfriend and I regularly visit Harri's, being former cafe owners we appreciate good coffee, and Harri's doesn't disappoint. Friendly service in clean surroundings but most importantly one of the best flat whites around, highly recommended!

We called in for coffee and cake and it was fantastic. We had a millionaires shortbread and natas (the most gorgeous Portuguese custard tarts).

i discovered Harris a few months ago and has become my weekly breakfast cafe of choice - bendigedig! wonderful!

Popped in to Harri’s on our way to Holyhead ferry for a coffee. Enjoyed it so much used it as a breakfast stop on the way back home a week later.

Even though there had been a flood the menu was still of great choice! Paul the proprietor was very apologetic of the situation but my all means the choice was still superb! Since my last visit the restaurant has changed its furnishings to make it more comfortable for the guest and this obviously made me stay even longer!

Harri's had suffered a flood so were serving a temporary menu. Despite this the simple food was authentic and stunning,delicious bread, loved the garlic carrots and house white. Felt like I had a taste of Portugal, thankyou.

Called in for a coffee and we ended up having lunch, super sandwiches and coffee. We bought Portugese custard tart to take home. I am lucky enough to go to Portugal quite often and these custards are on a par with the ones I have in Portugal
