Would have given higher score if we could have held a conversation but far too noisy for comfort

A great meal for 4 on a Saturday night. Even in April it was a good job we had booked a table. Lovely food and staff.

My wife, 2 children (8 and 11) ate here last week as part of our regular break at Saundersfoot. A fantastic bar/ restaurant and the fresh fish was simply superb. A lovely place to eat and drink.

Great meal definitely would return

A nice addition to the town, staff seemed a bit unfriendly at times.

Overall not the best experience for a night out I had melted breaded Brie for starter which was cold and barely melted then had a burger which was tasteless

Dog friendly pubs and restaurant. Food was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Had dinner here and also lunchtime drinks. Good choice of ales in a lovely quiet bar area.

Not sure why my review I put up the other night is not here?!! I've eaten here many times without disappointment. Tonight I was served uncooked food which I left and when I mentioned it to the waitress she mumbled to herself and walked off with no offer to recook or no apology. I doubt she would have even taken it off the bill if I hadn't insisted that I wasn't paying for it! Disgusting service with no apology whatsoever! Will NOT be back

Great food, good steak and seafood

Me and my partner went on a spontaneous date night to the harbwr and decided to have a meal. Firstly the attitude of the staff was impeccable! The young lady who served us was kind and helpful. She also managed to serve most tables within the restaurant without us waiting too long for food. The food however was not great. The bread that came with the olive starter was dry and stale. Both the Fish burger and the Signature burger were wet and lacked flavour, neither me nor my partner could eat them. The cheesecake that my partner ordered was delicious however my pavlova was sub par. The meringue was burnt and i was under the impression after reading the description that it would be made with fresh raspberries (probably misread that, not their fault). Both me and my partner work in hospitality so didn’t feel right complaining however after paying £70 plus tip to the waitress who was amazing. We felt as though it was over priced for what we received and are a narrowing it down to a bad night and possible lack of staff in the kitchen. All in all atmosphere was great and so was the front of house staff.

Nice food, lovely setting but have found the staff to be rude at times. Local so have been here numerous times and have experienced rude staff 2-3 times.

Never felt so relaxed and welcomed as I did at Harbwr bar & Kitchen. All the team were attentive, inclusive and fun to be served by. Food was well presented and yummy! Thanks so much for making us feel so at home. 👌🏻

Highly recommend Harbwr staff are amazing, faultless service by Erin and the guys, nothing was too much trouble, speedy service food was exceptional dessert was to die for best customer service ever 😋 😀

So been here many times over the past couple of years and unfortunately this evening was the worst, the place was freezing cold, as we were sat by the door, asked if we could move to an empty table but there wernt any.. although I could see 3.. but any way got on with the evening as we were meeting friends, As our friends were 10 mins behind us as soon as they sat down they asked if they were ready to order, I asked if they could have 5 mins to look at the menus, 25 mins later they came back to take the order, around 30 mins later the food which was nice in fairness, although out of 5 ordered they only had food for 3, so 2 of us had to 2nd choice, The deserts however wernt great. The Cheese cake was more like ice cream cake and partially frozen and the chocolate fudge cake was very small especially for £7 and no custard. After requesting the bill the lady who brought it said she'd get the card machine, 20 mins later still nothing I tried grabbing the attention of the girls behind the bar as they were just stood there staring into space whilst the other was too busy chatting up the guys for most of the night on one of the tables by the bar, in the end I almost had to shout can somebody serve us pls, to which managed to grab their attention albeit some odd looks off them. To be honest I wouldn't be rushing back which is a shame, there are many bars and restaurants popping up in and around Tenby all fighting for customers my verdict on @Harbwr currently isn't great there are plenty of others with great food,service and heating I'd rather go to.

We had a family meal here on December 21st during a pre-christmas break to Saundersfoot. First, it's in a lovely spot in pretty Saundersfoot. It's large and in December was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It was also busy, which was pleasing to see in an off-season tourist town. The menu was typical pub/bar food, but with a broad selection for different palettes, plus a kids menu. Being nusy meant it was loud, which is ideal when you have kids as you don't need to worry TOO much about them upsetting a serene restaurant! They make their own beer, which gets a point from me! Food was a bit of a mixed bag. My wife's quiche was dry and almost inedible. She should have sent it back really. She mentioned it to the server, but there wasn't much proactivity about a solution other than "do you want to send it back?" Several of us had steak, and it was a rare relief that is wasn't overcooked, as in many places you have to go one level rarer than you'd prefer, just to ensure you don't get chewy shoe leather. Mine was sadly afflicted with some tough gristle, but I guess there's not much you can do to avoid that. Reasonably tasty though. Came with nice chips, a whole vine of tomatoes, and I had chimmi churri sauce which was delicious. Overall, a nice place for a pint and casual meal. Quality may be a bit hit and miss, or it could just be that if you're a quiche officianado you need to go to France or something...

Going back for a second time this week so I think that says it all

Had a family dinner here in December 23rd. Super menu - all of the dishes were great. Only tried the steak and the fish and chips but all 9 of us said their meals were delish. Great service and some lovely craft beers too.

A warm welcome at a venue that we had discounted for a while as a drinks venue, but we were very glad we called in on a quieter Sunday. Our group ranged from baby to elderly and the staff were very good. We had a few specific requests for food and drinks to be adjusted, with everything delivered as requested. We arrived late afternoon and most of the roasts were sold out, which was not surprising when we saw and smelt the quality of the meals that came out! We tried soup, ploughman’s and the fish of the day plus several drinks, both hot and cold. The food was tasty and piping hot, priced decently. This place is usually absolutely heaving, especially in summer or when an event is on, but it’s worth a visit and has a particularly good alcohol selection if you are a drinker.

Food came out lukewarm. When my FIL tried to tell staff, the staff became defensive and rude. We asked to see the manager but were sent 2 other members of staff, before a manager eventually came out. The mamager was extremely rude. Had it been my sole decision , I would have left. We were on holiday as a family of 13 (11 were dining) as we have had a lot of bad news recently and lost a family member. The food and service really let the day down. There was no gesture for the inconvenience. The food was taken back and brought out again. Thankfully at a palatable temperature. The bill was arpund £350, no discount given or even a round of drinks for incovenience. The 4 children who were dining were incredibly patient given they waited over 30 mins for their food.

We visited on Sunday 12th November just for drinks as it was our 1st wedding anniversary, The gentleman on the door was very polite & friendly as was the lady (sadly didn't get her name but she had a nose piercing) who took our drinks order,she took the time to talk to us & congratulating us on our anniversary she even asked us about our wedding & she showed genuine interest in watching our video she was even close to tears,the whole team were extremely friendly & very welcoming we will definitely return for food on our next visit.

Love this place never fails to deliver and the best staff in town

Incredible steaks. From the peppercorn sauce to the chips and the steak itself, every bite was amazing. Well worth the trip to Saundersfoot if not just for this place alone and I’d do it again solely to come back and eat here again. And it’s dog friendly, always a bonus.

This is a lovely place very good all round food delicious.

No complaints. Food was tasty and hot. Great beer. Very busy but not too loud and enough space for us with a pushchair.

Had an amazing meal here. We didn't have reservations but were still seated immediately and had lovely service. The food is phenomenal and I certainly hope I'll be able to come back!

Lovely menu and great selection of drinks. Food was fantastic, honestly couldn't fault it . Steak , burger, lamb all done to perfection, the staff were attentive and friendly. You must try it if you are passing. Almost forgot it is also dog friendly. Keep up the good work.

We've been staying in Tenby since Saturday and this was our third visit tonight to the Harbwr Bar and Kitchen. Everything from the roast beef, chilli con carne and grilled chicken to the burgers was amazing and beautifully presented. From the moment you walk in you get a very warm welcome from all staff who are very attentive and friendly. The decor is quirky and cute with lovely paintings. They also make some of their own ale in the brewery downstairs. Can't wait to visit again when we're next in Tenby.

The food was outstanding. Probably the best fish rolls we have ever had along with a fabulous pint of Sir Galahad. Perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant bar.

Lovely lunch and walk on beautiful beach

Went for a meal on our last night of staying in Saundersfoot and wished we’d gone on our first. Food was excellent, service was amazing and had a great time. Highly recommend here for anyone visiting the area. Will definitely visit again in the future :-)

This is the second time we have visited, the first was two years ago. Now we were back visiting we made sure to visit this amazing place. Not only is the food fantastic, but the staff are so professional and polite. I would recommend booking, as it gets fully booked quickly to avoid disappointment.

Came down to Saundersfoot a couple of weeks ago, meal in the Harbwr. Lovely meal and good atmosphere, as we have come to expect over the years.

Nice staff, alright beer but never been so pointed with a pie like this before. Dodgey chips and I didn’t order beef stew w puff pastry on top.

Excellent Sunday roast - slow roast pork with all the trimmings. Everything was done just right, plentiful, served quickly and we had a window seat to boot!

This place was highly recommended. A nice welcome by the staff and we were seated quickly. Drinks orders were brought out quickly. We had a cawl as a starter which came with bread and a lump of cheese so big I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a main. The actual main was a rack of ribs that I found to have just caught and was a little overdone, but not so much that I couldn't eat it. Apparently the hand wash in the ladies was empty. Staff were very friendly and it was a pleasant evening.

What a lovely warm friendly place to go. Beautifully set out. We have a number of meals here over the last few months from lunch, dinner and Sunday dinner absolutely beautiful food 5 star all the way. A big shout out to Kim what a lovely lady nothing is ever too much for her and all the staff are great. Well done and keep up the good work

Lovely food and excellent customer service. I only gave a four star because the place allows dogs inside and a couple with a dog were sat behind us and the dog stank.

A lovely atmosphere. The pub is dog friendly and we enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch. Plenty of food, well cooked and served hot. The staff were friendly, and although it was very busy, they were efficient and attentive. Would go back again.

We called in for a late lunch today and everything from start to finish was excellent. The meet & greet was friendly and efficient, plenty of space around the table, the service was prompt and friendly and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. I had the game pie with chips and peas, my wife had the patty burger with pulled pork, melted cheese and chips. We wouldn't hesitate in going there again. Well done to all involved.

Had a Sunday lunch it was very Nice . But the veg was a very small portion. Had a blue moon there a few afternoon's lovely place and great staff.

Popped in for lunch. Can't believe we have never been in before! Really nice set up. Amazingly friendly and efficient staff and the fish was out of this world. Also very reasonable prices. A new favourite for us and will definitely use again

Quite a disappointing visit. We went as a large group admittedly, but the kitchen got 3 of the dishes wrong. The food was ok, goodish quality pub food. Unfortunately won't be rushing back.

Chosen due to great reviews , however was disappointed. We ordered 3 roast beef Sunday dinners and fish and chips. The roast beef was sliced wafer thin and it seemed it was not real carved meat from a joint. I can describe it as pre-packed rolled meat. The fish and chips however ,was very good along with the service. My Elderly parents that live in Saundersfoot were looking forward to the meal but we all left disappointed

Really helpful staff and very experienced including the chef. Can't fault the food. I would recommend the harbwr to anyone to try it yourself.

Sunday lunch was beautiful the meat was so delicious. Beautiful spot on the front of Saundersfoot lucky to get in everytime before it's been fully booked we can see why now.

This is an up market restaurant bar in saundersfoot which does get very busy on the weekends if you love local real ale your spoiled for choice here table service from helpful friendly staff

This lovely restaurant accommodated our group of six with great service and delicious hot food, served in good time by friendly staff. Portion sizes were great and there was a wide selection of food choices for meat eaters and our vegetarian guests. We all left happy and satisfied and will return again. Thank you very much!

Lovely view from the terrace. Service was very friendly. Decent coffee and my wife's Stilton and Broccoli soup was excellent. Definitely returning.
